Very tasty Burgers and Fries, quick and friendly service and tasty homemade lemonades.

As a hillbilly from the deepest provinces, I suggest burgers with beef patties and all the other usual nonsense. I was accordingly surprised by the Hambaga Burger. The thing was a poem and tasted really great. The fries were also great. Everything is highly recommended.

It is a very nice and cozy place, not very big but with a pleasant atmosphere that invites you to stay. The hamburgers are really tasty, especially the bao bun, which has a unique texture: it is incredibly tender and crispy at the same time, giving a special touch to every bite. In addition, the staff is very friendly and attentive, always ready to help and make you feel comfortable. The food came quickly, which is nice when you're hungry. I definitely recommend this restaurant, not only because of the excellent quality of the dishes but also because of the good value for money. It is an excellent choice if one is looking for a pleasant and balanced dining experience.

Great burger, coolly inspired by Japanese cuisine. You wouldn't expect such good food in this price range so close to the rings.

We chose this restaurant for our lunch snack while strolling through town based on the good reviews and were not disappointed. We had a steak burger and a teriaki burger with fries and a delicious peach-lemon iced tea. It was a real taste experience and the burgers were super fresh and served really hot. The service was super nice and the clean ambience and relaxed music created a pleasantly calm atmosphere. Absolute recommendation!

Wow! Absolutely impressive! The furnishings are not only stylish, but also create a wonderful atmosphere. And the food? Simply amazing! I have never eaten such incredibly good kimchi - the taste is a real highlight! I was particularly impressed by the quality of the burgers: the meat is incredibly fresh and you can immediately tell that everything here is homemade with a lot of love and care. They staff is friendly, but the menu has only one veggie option, with fried tofu and fried eggplant, which tasted too much like oil...wouldn’t recommend.

I had a deal 2 with beef burger and a pommes (french fries), the server offfered me to change from potato to sweet potato fries as I didnt like potato chips much. Overally, I like the burger but sorrry it didn't wow me as I expected too much when I read a review saying this burger was listed Top 10 in Germany. However, still recommend to those who like the fusion between Asian and Western taste.

The bun is incredibly fluffy, the steak and salmon were also very tasty. The burgers are quite small and are not heavy on the stomach. Unfortunately, the sweet potato fries were unsalted, the thin cut was surprising (but that doesn't make them better than regular cut fries). The shop is very dilapidated.

We've been there for the fifth time now and we're always thrilled. We really like the burgers, the homemade fries and also the lemonades (especially the Lychee lemonade). The best burger Ive eaten in Cologne!! Juicy, nicely seasoned and full of flavors. Lots of burgers here are tend to be served dry, but this one was completely the opposite, and the cool pink bun is a nice bonus.

The food was ready quickly and far exceeded my expectations. They have the best burgers I've ever eaten here. The drinks are also great, look nice and arrive quickly. We were welcomed immediately and the staff were very friendly and professional. We would love to come back!

I didn't like the vibe of the restaurant. Despite the Japanese atmosphere, the Vietnamese staff irritated me. I felt like the store couldn't be trusted. When the food came, my suspicions were confirmed. In terms of taste, it was better than other fast food chains, but the individual products were frozen goods that you can buy wholesale as a finished product and only heat up.

After walking past it a few times, the time had come and I entered the store. Nice staff and my order came quickly. In the direction of the toilet there is a musty basement smell 🤔 I was able to discover a single vegetarian burger and ordered it straight away. The pink burger bun was indefinable and had a rather neutral taste. A slice of melted cheese, a small piece of loveless tofu, just as small and loveless was a thin slice of eggplant and tomato on the burger. The lamb's lettuce was fresh and crunchy. A dash of mayonnaise and some slightly Asian-inspired sauce. In terms of taste, it was overall rather unimaginative and boring and far removed from all the possibilities that could have been made with this combination. With a soft drink I paid a sporty €16!!! Luckily I was only hungry because I would never have been full of the little burger. Unfortunately it didn't convince me at all and I won't repeat it. Too bad.

Anyone who knows the hamburgers from Five Guys should try this one. The patty made from high-quality meat, the bun and the sauces are something completely different and are about the same price. Ambience so-so, but it doesn't matter, I'm here to eat

Helpful staff, English friendly, nice ambiente, quite quick, but expected a bit more of a japanese / asian fusion experience. Had the Chili Teriyaki Burger - meat was okay, lots of mango mayo (but I couldn't really tell the mango part), aside from the a pink colored buns; The Salmon Burger - definitely interesting for a burger, but not a big fish person, so relying on 2nd hand account here. Sweet potato fries were among the best I've had, though. Sweet tea and lemonade were both very nice, too.

The best meal I had during my stay in Cologne. We went in for the lunch menu which is great value. We tried the Ebikatsu (king prawn) burger and the Lychee lemonade. The food came out quickly. It was fresh, hot and fantastically succulent. The decor was cozy and zen like, with music gently playing at just the right volume. The waitress was superb too serving every table by herself (4 tables including us). I would highly recommend the burger that I went for as it exceeded my expectations and both my partner and I agreed that our Lychee lemonade tea was well worth the money.

First of all: The food itself was delicious and the service was friendly. Then why only three stars? First of all, the relationship between price and portion size is very limited. Unfortunately, after visiting the restaurant we had to eat a kebab to fill ourselves up. Unfortunately, the absolute disaster was the stay itself. The guest room is only a manageable size and was occupied by a maximum of seats. We were unlucky enough to get a table for two near the bar and were constantly harassed by guests and staff who squeezed past us with physical contact. From here you can also smell the very unappetizing smell of the adjacent toilet. The smell of the toilet is also noticeable at the table in the corner, next to the "angel wings" on the wall. In itself a cool concept and ambience, but some areas urgently need to be improved so that guests will be happy to come back.

The burgers are super tasty and almost fluffy👌🏻 with tea afterwards and the evening can come to an end.

Inexpensive tasty Asian style burgers. Steak burger was incredibly spicy and aromatic. The meat was very tender but not because of tenderizers but the meat itself was extremely marinated. Strong recommendation! Price-performance is finally right!

Super tasty burgers with an Japanese twist

Since I ate there for the first time about 2 years ago, I have eaten there almost every time I am in downtown Cologne. Was there with many friends, have already recommended it many times and can only recommend it to everyone. The burgers fill you up, but don't make you feel as disgustingly stuffed as the "typical American burgers". The burgers are my favorite burgers and no one can top them. So far I have eaten the Hambaga Steak Burger and the Chili Teriyaki Burger.

I've never tasted such a fresh burger! I tried the Chilli Teriyaki Burger menu with Lychee Limo and it was great. The soda was nice and sweet but also refreshing, and it also had a nice color gradient from purple to white. The burger wasn't like any other burger, but more thought was put into the "Japanese Burger". Overall super tasty! The environment was very beautiful with the small cherry blossom tree in the middle of the room and the beautiful tables and chairs. Service was also very good, the owner's little boy was very friendly (greetings) and accommodating. In general, I can definitely recommend this shop in the tumult of Cologne.

Nice and friendly workers. Delicious food to command! I was eating a hambaga once and noticed a man coming in looking for a job, he was greeted very nicely and the workers wanted to help him straight away and didn't throw him out like I've experienced in other restaurants. I hope this man has a job now.

The waitress was lovely and so was the atmosphere, however food wasn’t our favorite. As the concept it sounds very good but unfortunately our burgers were a little bit bland for us, felt like they needed a little bit more spices in order to get the balanced taste of the sweetness, spiciness and savory.Buns also were a little bit raw and hence had unpleasant aftertaste and texture. Meat and fish were okay but again the spices here were of lack. The portion of fries was big and really tasty. We also had teas, which were interesting. All in all it was a good experience, we just thought there are small adjustments to be done and then everything will be great!

Easily one of the best gourmet burger places in cologne. The toppings are better than anywhere else, highest quality. Sadly I was running late and cut it short. After tasting it, I think it's best if paired with beer. Highly recommend.

Went there by chance and it was awesome, really nice staff, food was super tasty, it was quick and everything was great! Four burgers, 3 fries, two normal ones, one sweet and 4 delicious lemonades for €84, really great and, above all, super fresh and super attractively served! When we are back we would love to come back. Our kids aged 13 and 11 loved it

The Spicy Shake Burger was very aromatic, the salmon was cooked until translucent and was not prepared spicy if requested. The Hambaga Steak Burger was a revelation, the meat was cooked to perfection and complemented perfectly with the remaining ingredients. Steamed, pink buns that are super fluffy. Our drinks tasted great and were very refreshing. The service was very friendly, accommodating and left none of our questions unanswered. The ambience was magical, timeless and modern. The toilets very clean. The price/performance ratio is completely fair. Because of the unique, delicious taste and the excellent quality. Absolute recommendation from us!

Burgers are something different... instead of minced patties, there are thin pieces of beef (or salmon) together with delicious sauces. Another highlight would be the delicious lemon chia iced tea. Service was very friendly. The biggest point of criticism would be that it was very warm in the store.

I had the tofu burger, which was really tasty, and the sweet potato fries. However, instead of mayo and ketchup, I might have preferred a fancy Japanese-style dip. Together, the burger and fries filled a person perfectly. But I would like to emphasize the very good service. The waiter was friendly, informed and accommodating, I would come back for that reason alone!

A third of the burger patty was raw. I was there a month ago and ordered the cheeseburger. The fries were really good and the burger too, until I gradually noticed that the patty was practically raw at one point. When I mentioned this, there was ONLY an 'Oh'. Very good shop with a small but fine selection. If it were possible, I would give it about 4.5 stars. But it was little things that made me give it 4 stars. The burger, as good as it is, is almost a tad too small. So if you're really hungry, maybe consider an extra patty. And the fries, although there were plenty of them, were unfortunately a bit dry. The homemade iced tea was great. Since there is a pretty good lunch menu at lunchtime, it is particularly recommended at this time.
