Kudr-Et Döner House in Köln

We wanted to come to Kudret as a family on Sunday and we're glad we did, the shop was quite crowded, we were 13 people, we bought breakfast, maybe I'm exaggerating, but our waiter, Mustafa, was really great. He did justice to his job. He would come out of his busy days and ask if there was anything we wanted. And he was working alone. I wish everyone had such friendly employees. By the way, we came from Hamburg. Happy holidays to Kudret team. 😊😊

I have to describe it like this so that everyone understands! Some only care about how it tastes, some only care about service! Reception was very much to be desired! Waiters stand in front of the door 50cm from my table and argue about who has to serve how many tables, very loudly and extremely annoying! The lady who looked like a manager simply had no function!!! We arrived at 4:41 p.m., The first waiter who asked us something was 4:53 p.m We weren't allowed to enjoy a doner sandwich at the table! Doner kebab was only available to take away! Which is why people had to order kebab plates for €13.90! We have 1x mixed plates 1x kebab plate 1x HackPide Doner meat is tasteless (taste neutral) no salt no spice! Adana, köfte, ribs meat tasted very good! Except for this, the service, service and ambience were disappointing! Whenever I look at reviews I miss prices! I have uploaded a complete photo of the menu! Would I visit this store again? A clear NO!!!! 👎🏼

Unfortunately our expectations were not met. Since it is common here to share a 4-person table with strangers, we were seated with another couple. If we hadn't had a longer journey, we would have left immediately. After we sat down, we were immediately given a basket of fresh bread, without mentioning that this bread and other little things cost a flat rate of €10. This was not stated anywhere, whether on the menu or on the table. After we ate the expected "greetings from the kitchen" like at an Italian restaurant, we were informed that it costs €10. Since a small divider with vegetables was missing from our table, the waitress from another table took it away and gave us the old thing. The main meal was fine, the only thing that bothered me was the thick pieces of fat. However, I absolutely don't understand the hype here. The portion was too small in relation to the price. This snack bar is ok, but not worth the extra trip here. At this price, you should visit a real Turkish restaurant where you also get quality and ambience.

If you love Turkish cuisine, you have to go to Kudr-et! Excellent food, friendly service, especially the waitress Ebru, and a great ambience make it one of the best restaurants in the city.

There were six of us and we ate at Kudret for the first time. I had çökertme since it was recommended. I have to say it was very tasty. However, the food arrived at the table quite cold for all of us, and after 10 minutes it was no longer edible as it became ice cold. For some of us, the food was way too oily. The waiters are all very relaxed, it would be nice to be a little friendlier for the customers.

First of all, I traveled a lot for this restaurant, but there are 10 empty staff, they all look at each other, no one cares about the customers, the quality of the food is very low, I would definitely say do not go there.

An impertinence and this in the month of fasting! Good meat brings me -cold- -nothing-! Not even lukewarm, just cold. I would feel guilty and ashamed to sell something like that to my customer.

Rather disappointing. I was really looking forward to my spinach pide, but unfortunately I only got a pide with cheese. For me this has nothing to do with a spinach pide and was a real disappointment. The taste also left a lot to be desired - the pide was quite dry, which can also be clearly seen in the picture. I definitely wouldn't serve something like that. It was my first visit and unfortunately also the last. The ambience was okay, but the waitress seemed a bit confused. Overall it was a disappointing experience.

The döner was good, but the döner still contained raw pieces of meat. The Kusbasi pide was very bad, especially the dough of the pide and the meat had a bad taste. We didn't have to pay for the pide because we barely touched it. Conclusion: not worth eating here. There are plenty of other and better restaurants.

Meat is extremely fatty and even gristly. The friendliness of the employees is incredibly unfriendly. It was the second attempt but that was it...

Disappointing experience - not recommended Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Kutulett Cologne at all. My visit there was entirely disappointing. During the meal I was practically begged several times to write a review - an unprofessional behavior that makes visiting the restaurant unpleasant. The pricing model for Iftar meals in Ramadan is particularly questionable. As soon as you sit down at the table, a non-refusable menu of €10 is automatically charged. This just includes dates, some salad and water - regardless of whether you want it or not. There is no choice, which is extremely dubious. The price-performance ratio also leaves a lot to be desired. The portions are far too small – both for the rice and the meat. Given the high prices, this is absolutely unreasonable. In summary: An overpriced restaurant with questionable business practices, pushy staff and disappointing portions. I can only advise against eating here.

I went to Restaurant Kudret for the first time today after watching some YouTube videos. It is advertised there that this is the best kebab in Cologne. I can only agree with that. It was really delicious. Menu No. 153 with the delicately fried potatoes was particularly amazing. I've never eaten like that before. Waitress Ebru was very attentive, immediately brought the starter, the menu and later the tea. It doesn't get any better. I'll definitely be back. Zsolz

Delicious and authentic kebab restaurant with fresh ingredients and great seasoning. The Adana sandwich is juicy and the portion size is okay. Friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere. Clear recommendation! I can also recommend Künefe, not too sweet.

We were welcomed straight away by the friendly staff and were allowed to choose a place for us. Very nice location with a clear map. Prices are just Cologne Like a little more but it's worth what you get for it 👍

I have never experienced anything like kudret. I drove there for about 1.5 hours so that I could break my iftar there. Then we were boldly told your name wasn't on the list, sorry, no place. The lady who was very rude to us, Ms. E. Alman, didn't even owe us an apology after she even saw evidence of the call. Overall it was the first and last time we were there with such hospitality. Wait, be lucky or unlucky was their offer :) So not even one star.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed. The waitress didn't take our order because it was already late, and we were only allowed to order the kebab bag and the dürüm to take away. But just a few minutes later, the table next door ordered the exact same dishes and was allowed to eat them on the spot. An absolute disgrace!

After watching a reel while scrolling through TikTok, we were scheduled to test a restaurant this evening. With anticipation we set off on the 1.5 hour drive to Cologne. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were greeted, but when we were assigned a table, the waiter didn't seem to be very interested. So we just looked for a free place ourselves. The waitress came quickly and gave us a QR code to scan the menu. Such digital cards are practical - you don't have to touch sticky menu cards that have already passed through countless hands. We ordered the exact same dish as in the video. Shortly after ordering, we were served bread with three different dips – typical of Turkish grill restaurants. When we asked, we were given an extra portion of bread. Then came our food – and with it the disappointment. The hoped-for taste explosion completely failed to materialize. The portion was half the size of the video and the food was cold. While we ate, we were literally watched as guests were already waiting for a table outside. In between, a waiter placed his empties from the table next to us and disappeared. We set it aside and continued eating. As soon as the first of us had finished, the plate was immediately cleared away - but the half-empty drink bottles remained. The highlight of the bad service was when a waiter simply took away the last plate while you were still chewing - and there was even a fork on the plate. When we asked whether this dish was always cold because of the yoghurt or sauce, we were simply told that it should actually be warm. However, there was no apology. If you see the video: don't be fooled! This is definitely not the best kebab in Cologne. Parking options are also rare. So after a price of €20.10 per person, with still some space and hunger in our stomachs, we headed back home. This restaurant will never see us again!

Not recommended, I don't actually like to write bad reviews, but how you can ruin both fries and kebabs, bread completely burnt, meat tough without love, just slapped on fries without salt, so with all the love one star is well expressed

Unfortunately we were very disappointed, the waitress didn't accept our order because it was (late) and we were only allowed to take the kebab bag & Dürüm with us. But after a few minutes the neighboring table ordered exactly these things and ate them at the table. Such a shame!!

When I went to Cologne as a tourist, I went here based on the reviews. The comments made had nothing to do with the service I received. Sullen staff, tasteless lahmacun and a bad atmosphere... I took the train from the center for nothing and I don't think they deserve the money I paid. I'm giving two stars only because of the tea they kindly gave me when I was tired.

Love Ebru is very accommodating. The food also tasted very tasty. We have been here several times and I can only recommend it to everyone ❤️

I ordered a kebab to take away today and the bread was almost as hard as a stone. Seems like it's been lying around for quite a long time. The taste of the meat is good. But the kebab isn't worth €1.

Great shop with delicious veal kebab made from layered meat. You can only make more use of bread and salad. The garlic sauce is based on pure yogurt without mayo and therefore goes better with the meat. The service is excellent.

I wanted the salad to be served on a separate plate. The lazy waiter said that the salad was served on ONE plate far away from the meat, which was not the case (meat & salad were close together). Guest requests are ignored. Calling the fatty kebab a steak kebab is very sporty. Taste grade 3. Because of the waiter, this was my last visit.
