Gaststätte Trierer Eck in Köln

On a Saturday night, at 11:40 PM, a new customer is told that there's no more beer. The bar is packed with about 12 customers. Opening hours are listed as midnight. What has happened to the TE? Anita and Hella would be ashamed. It's just sad.

A MUST for anyone who wants to drink truly delicious beer 🍺. A visit is a must.

A cute little bar with very friendly people and a lovely, family-friendly atmosphere. It does get a bit crowded when it gets busy, though.

Unfortunately, I have to report a less than pleasant experience with the waitress "Mel." After we were told that card payments were accepted starting at €20, and we unfortunately realized we didn't have enough cash (a small amount) on us, we decided to quickly go to the bank. I went in to let them know we were just getting some cash, offering my ID as a deposit, and my girlfriend would have been waiting outside. When I told the waitress this, she completely lost her composure and complained loudly (probably fueled by a few Kölsch beers) about how anyone could have no cash, especially for such a small amount. She refused my ID as a deposit and, still fuming, sent me to the nearest ATM. As a Cologne native, you're used to a snarky remark, but this is just plain silly! It's a shame that the idea of service is so quickly thrown overboard for such a trivial matter.

We've been there several times for a delicious bite to eat and a drink. It's cozy and inexpensive, making it definitely worth venturing out of the city center. We'd love to come back soon!

A classic neighborhood pub. Beer is constantly being replenished, but it can get a bit noisy outside. Decent food at a reasonable price. Four stars

So far I only know the Trierer Eck from the Weiberfastnacht - it was wonderful, great atmosphere, delicious beer and 100 songs to sing along to.

My boys (from Arnsberg in the Sauerland) and I have been coming to Trierer Eck for almost 20 years, at least once a year (sometimes up to 3 times). Just like last Friday. The first time it was a coincidence... We had booked the neighboring brewery as part of our bowling tour, but they didn't want to let us in so early... So, with everyone in the corner, to Anita...that's how our "love affair" with her and her pub began. We were hooked from the start...first Anita and "dat Ruthche", then Hella and Hans.... And now this great team that is doing this place really well...we are already planning the next tour "op Kölle", where we would like to stop again in the Trierer Eck. By the way... None of us ever went to the neighboring brewery again!!! Please keep it up!!!

Went there yesterday with 10 people from the Reissdorf Club. Friendly service.

The Mettbrötchen are delicious. The schnitzel with mushrooms wasn't my cup of tea. Public underground car park on site, parking spaces are few and far between.

One of the few typical corner bars that I actually go to often. Very nice people here, who are united above all by their affection for 1. FC Köln. The menu is extremely small.

Nice bar to watch football and drink beer

I can recommend it to everyone. Despite Corona Are they always in a good mood? There's something to eat. However, I recommend calling beforehand and checking what you can eat

Nice quaint pub/economy near Barbarossaplatz. Unfortunately there are fewer and fewer of them, which makes it even more enjoyable to visit.

Of course not a star restaurant... but for a Cologne corner pub there is nothing to complain about. The menu also fits one page, but everything is delicious... the Kölsch of course anyway :)

We were at Trierer Eck yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised! Such warm service and a great, friendly atmosphere (which is not always a given for pubs in Cologne)! I'd love to come back!

I recently visited a restaurant that pleasantly surprised me in many ways. As soon as you entered, you were struck by the stylish, modern furnishings, which create a welcoming atmosphere. From the start, the service was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. The menu offered a balanced mix of traditional and innovative dishes, which made the choice not easy. I chose the homemade ravioli with a fine truffle cream, which tasted absolutely convincing. The pasta was perfectly al dente and the filling was aromatic and rich. My companion chose the grilled salmon fillet, which was served on a bed of sautéed vegetables and quinoa. Here too, the freshness and quality of the ingredients were convincing. Particularly noteworthy is the wine list, which offers an impressive selection of regional and international wines. Finally, we treated ourselves to the homemade tiramisu, which rounded off the evening perfectly. The only small point of criticism was the slightly longer waiting time between courses, but this was more than made up for by the high quality of the food. Overall, a restaurant that I can recommend without reservation - ideal for a special evening or a cozy dinner with friends.

Tolles Ambiente und leckeres Kölsch. Auf die Frage, ob man eine Empfehlung für einen Schnaps bekommen könnte, entgegnete die Bedienung lediglich ein harsches und unfreundliches "Nein". Fremde Gäste sind hier wohl nicht gern gesehen, Stammgäste dafür aber bestimmt.

Ich war nur zum Bier trinken da. Wollte ein Kölsch für 1,70 € trinken. Leider kostet es seit 01.10. 1,80 €. Habe es leider verpasst. Trotzdem eine coole Kölschkneipe mit sehr netter Bedienung. Und es gibt Reisdorff

Nette Reisdorf Kneipe im Herzen der Stadt. Bier lecker essen lecker und viele nette Menschen. Die Preise für Bier 🍻 und Essen sind echt günstig für die Lage. Dicken Daumen hoch👍 dafür. Macht weiter so 👍

We stumbled upon this place and it reminded us of a small family-owned bar at home in the US. Cozy yet lively atmosphere kept us there all evening and brought us back the next night too! The staff was efficient and entertaining as they bantered with the customers and with each other. A must stop in South Cologne!

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von 10 Leuten zum Klönen im Trierer Eck. Wir haben uns sauwohl gefühlt. Gemütliche, kölsche Eck-Kneipe. Netter Service, angenehme Gäste, gute Musik - nicht zu laut. Essen und Getränke noch zu zivilen Preisen. Kommen gerne wieder!

Leuke typisch Kölsch café op 30 minuten lopen vanaf het toeristische centrum van Keulen. Kleine menukaart met lekkere schnitzels en heerlijke curryworsten wat je kunt spoelen met een Kölsch.

Cola ham wa nich, wir ham Kölsch - bekommt hier die verirrten Hipster zu hören. Recht so! Warum sonst sollte man wohl ins Trierer Eck gehen. So muss es sein!

Gemütliche Location mit angenehmen Gästen, sympathischem Personal, gutem Kölsch vom Fass und leckerem Essen für den großen und kleinen Hunger. Außerdem auch für Effzeh-Spiele zu empfehlen, da rut & wiess geschmückt, mit großem TV innen und Leinwand im Außenbereich.

Das ist eine Wucht und die Frikadellen sind zum Nieder Knien, großes Lob!!

Die weltbesten Frikadellen!!! Eine echte Veedel´s Kneipe, in der das Personal jeden kennt und wen das Personal nicht kennte, der wird sofort mit integriert. Die Frikadellen sind eine Liga für sich und das Kölsch ist gut gezapft. Unbedingt mal vorbeischauen

Tolles Lokal netter Wirt aber das Personal gestern Abend eine Katastrophe sorry geht garnicht. Beide gehen draußen Rauchen und der wirt steht alleine da und die Gäste haben nichts zutrinken.
