The place has a nice atmosphere. Service is quick and attentive. But the food is really just mediocre. Chicken was ok but the beef was like shoe sole. That was really disgusting. Portion was also small and too expensive for the price. Cannot recommend this store.

A visit to “Zum Kuhstall” is definitely worth a visit! I tried the lumberjack schnitzel there (see picture) and it was absolutely delicious - juicy, perfectly seasoned and just the right portion for the big hunger. The accompanying side salad was also a highlight: fresh, crunchy and with a wonderfully spicy dressing that went perfectly with the rustic main course. Kudos to the chef for this great preparation! The kebab tastes simply great here! Bread super crispy, no pressed meat, fresh vegetables, everything good.

Great pizza, good salad. Drinks in glass bottles, not plastic. it all fits very well. The furnishings are a bit spartan but this is made up for by loving service. The price is also completely ok. And you get full. On Fridays fish and mussels can be ordered in advance. They looked good too. With plenty of bread on the side.

Now I remember why I haven't been here for so long. Yesterday I specifically checked to see if it was closed today due to a private event. There was nothing there, just normal opening hours. So we had to move out again and no one lives around the corner. This is the second time now. This never happened before, when it was also more comfortable, but probably also less profitable. We celebrated our son's 1st birthday in Elaine's Livingroom. We travel a lot but Elaine's restaurant cannot be beaten for the quality of the food and the absolutely fantastic service from this team! I was allowed to decorate the tables, they were so helpful, immediately helped with drink selection. They organized everything perfectly and were so accommodating. The best team I have experienced in a restaurant!!! THANKS!
