Die Pekingente ist hervorragend, obwohl sie für das, was sie ist, etwas teuer ist.

Wir waren das erste Mal hier und wurden direkt sehr herzlichen empfangen. Man merkt, hier steckt echte Passion dahinter. Tolle vegane Optionen! Das Essen war köstlich & wir haben gute Empfehlungen bekommen. Dankeschön, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir sind aus Zufall hier bei Yung gelandet und haben es geliebt. Nach einem sehr angeregten Gespräch mit dem Chef (?) hat er uns persönlich einige Gerichte aus der Tageskarte vorgeschlagen und ist dabei perfekt auf die Einschränkungen meiner Freundin (Vegetarisch, Glutenfrei) eingegangen. Drei davon hätten wir selber nie bestellt. Wir haben es nicht bereut! Unfassbar lecker. Der Chef legte viel Wert auf authentisches chinesisches Essen und das haben wir bekommen. Kein 08/15 aus den bekannten Asiatischen Restaurants. Absolute Empfehlung und eine gute Abwechslung zu den normalen Restaurants auf dem Öder Weg!

Sehr leckeres Essen - das Dim Sum Klassik Menü zum Durchprobieren und der chinesische Brokkoli (saisonal) sind besonders zu empfehlen! Wir haben sehr herzliche Empfehlungen bekommen und der Service war angenehm. Ich kann jedoch bestätigen, dass es sich mit Trinkgeld hier etwas komisch verhält. Meine 70€ Rechnung hab ich auf 75€ aufgerundet, nach dem Zahlen mit Karte schau ich auf den Beleg und es wurden 77€ abgerechnet. Ich würde nochmal wiederkommen aber leider kein Trinkgeld mehr geben.

Peking Ente und Dim Sum Klasse!

Was für ein freundliches Restaurant! Der Besitzer ist ein unglaublich geschickter Entenzerleger – er hält sogar einen Guinness-Weltrekord dafür. Er war sehr nett und zuvorkommend, und das Essen gehörte zu den besten chinesischen Gerichten, die wir je gegessen haben. Insgesamt ein sehr gelungenes Erlebnis. Unbedingt ausprobieren!

Teuer, Portion und Geschmack rechtfertigen den Preis nicht. Zudem war das Bezahlen enttäuschend. Unsere Rechnung betrug 89 €, und wir baten um Aufrunden auf 91 €, aber die Chefin änderte sie eigenmächtig auf 92 € mit der Begründung: „92 € klingt besser.“ 🙃 Wow, warum nicht gleich 88 €? 88 ist doch besser als 92 auf Mandarin/sogar Kantonesisch, oder?! 🤡 Schämen Sie sich, Trinkgeld erzwungen zu haben! 😀 Eine sehr unangenehme Erfahrung. Die Pekingente war… nur mittelmäßig… Die frittierten Mangogarnelen als Vorspeise hatten einen deutlich ranzigen Ölgeruch und -geschmack, als wäre das Öl zu oft wiederverwendet worden. Es war ziemlich abstoßend. Die gedämpften Xiao Long Bao waren viel zu salzig. Nur die Nudeln und die Getränke waren noch genießbar. Das war's. Absolut nicht empfehlenswert, egal ob es ums Essen, den Service oder das Gesamterlebnis geht. Das war's für heute. Tschüss.

Unglaublich leckere Ente! Habe das 110€ Ganze Ente Menü bestellt. So unglaublich zart und saftiger mit leckeren Soßen und gut gemachten Reis. Die Getränke sind teilweise selbstgemacht und das schmeckt man. Bedienung ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich! Waren suoer zufrieden!

Obwohl das Essen sehr gut ist, muss ich zugeben, dass der Service eine Katastrophe war. Es ist schon lange her, dass mir eine Kellnerin dreimal die falsche Bestellung gebracht oder überhaupt etwas falsch gemacht hat. Es gab Probleme mit absolut allem, von der Bestellung über das Servieren der richtigen Gerichte bis hin zum Bezahlen (ein Problem mit dem Terminal). Es ist wirklich ärgerlich.

Von dem Essen über die Atmosphäre bis hin zum Service war hier einfach alles super. 💯 Absolut empfehlenswert! Was man auf den Fotos sieht, bekommt man auch.

Ich war schon oft in diesem Restaurant. Das Essen ist von recht guter Qualität. Wir bestellen immer eine große Portion Dim Sum und ähnliches, ganz im Yum-Char-Stil, und dann die Pekingente – ein absolutes Muss. Die Bestellung per QR-Code für den Tischservice finde ich völlig in Ordnung. Normalerweise gebe ich eher wenig Trinkgeld. Für mich ist Trinkgeld etwas Besonderes, etwas, das ich für angemessen halte. Schließlich verdienen diese Restaurants gut, und die Besitzer fahren bessere Autos als ich. Ich war Ende 2025 sehr enttäuscht von diesem Restaurant, als ich mit meinen Kindern und meinen ausländischen Eltern dort war. Mein Vater bezahlte und erzählte mir, dass er von der – wie ich annehme – Besitzerin gedrängt wurde, Trinkgeld zu geben, obwohl er mit Karte zahlte. Ich dachte, es könnte an der Verständigung gelegen haben. Ich habe unserer Kellnerin jedoch 20 € zugesteckt und ihr gesagt, sie solle sie in ihre eigene Tasche stecken. Heute Abend war ich dann wieder dort, mit meinen Töchtern (10 und 12 Jahre alt). Wir haben für 141 € hervorragend gegessen und ich habe mit Karte bezahlt. Ich bin eigentlich ein Barzahler und bezahle alles bar. Die angebliche Besitzerin erwähnte mindestens dreimal, dass sie Trinkgeld erwartet. Ich habe keins gegeben! Meine Dame, wenn Sie Trinkgeld möchten, hätte ich einen Vorschlag: Geben Sie etwas mehr Suppe in die Knödel. Ich werde hier wahrscheinlich wieder essen gehen, aber in Deutschland werde ich nie gezwungen, Trinkgeld zu geben, wenn man danach fragt – einfach nur erbärmlich. Daher meine 2-Sterne-Bewertung. Hätten Sie einfach nur Ihren Job gemacht, hätte es 4 Sterne gegeben. Trinkgeld außerhalb der USA ist freiwillig. Hätte ich den beiden netten und zuvorkommenden Barkeepern jeweils 100 € geben können, hätte ich es getan. Aber dass der Besitzer mehrmals nach Trinkgeld fragt – geschmacklos!

- Leider hat der Teig des Har Gao am Bambusdampfkorb geklebt und ist auseinander gefallen, was ein Killerkriterium beim Dim Sum darstellt. Auch die Füllung war leider enttäuschend, die Garnelen schmeckten überkocht. - Kungpao Chicken war weder süß noch sauer und wurde mit Broccoli und Pilzen somit zähem Hühnerbrustfleisch zubereitet. Chop Suey wäre der passender Name. - Mapo Tofu enthielt weder Sezuan-Pfeffer noch rote fermentierte Bohnenpaste, was die Essenz des Gerichts darstellt. - Kungpao Chicken und Mapo Tofu sind gängige chinesische Gerichte, die für einen Koch recht einfach zu zubereiten sein sollte. - Zwischen Dim Sum und Hauptgerichten haben wir recht lange gewartet. - Insgesamt enttäuschend und insbesondere nicht für Chinesen und Kenner zu empfehlen, da nicht mal ansatzweise Original. Ohne Begleitung wäre ich spätestens nach Dim Sum gegangen. Nachtrag: - Danke für Ihre Rückmeldung. Wieso bieten Sie scheinbare Szechuan-Gerichte an, die Null danach schmecken und deren Rezeptur komplett anders ausfällt? Wenn man eine Rindwurst bestellt, bekommt man auch keine Bratwurst, oder? - Das stimmt, man dürfe keine Original-Gerichte erwarten. Habe ich auch nicht. Aber Grundzutaten haben gefehlt. Ich habe durchaus in kantonesischen Restaurants z.B. Mapo Tofu gegessen und war zufrieden. - Ich habe nur aus Höflichkeit aufgegessen, weil ich mit Begleitung dort war und keine große Szene machen möchte. - Es sollte zum Ausdruck gebracht werden, dass die Gerichte leider den Preisen nicht wert sind. Natürlich habe ich den vollen Betrag gezahlt. Ja, es ist absurd, dass ich 18 Euro für einen einfachen Chop Suey mit rohen Erdnüssen einfach draufgestreut zahlen musste. - Vielleicht sollte das Restaurant versuchen, der Eigenwerbung „Dim-Sum in Perfektion“ ansatzweise gerecht zu werden anstatt die Rezensionen der Gäste zu invalidieren. Nachtrag 2: - Soeben hat ein chinesischer Arbeitskollege aus Shanghai gemeint, dass die Dim Sims von Yung „richtig schlecht“ sind. - Ich kenne durchaus Szechuan-Restaurants aus China und Deutschland, die Originalgerichte ohne Glutamat und Fertigsaucen auskommen. Und chinesische Restaurants mit guten Dim Sums. Der Inhaber sollte sich Gedanken machen, anstatt nur „zurückzuschießen“ auf ehrliche Feedbacks.

Wir waren doch sehr enttäuscht über die Qualität der Ente. Wie Bilder auf einer Webseite doch abweichen von der Realität. Die Haut war hell und nicht knusprig und das Fleisch war grau und zäh. Kann ich leider nicht weiter empfehlen und bin weiterhin auf der Such nach einer gute Peking Ente.

Geiles Essen und der Preis passt. Die Ente ist das Highlight, weil sie ein Weltmeister zubereitet. 👍😀🤗

Ich bin mir nicht ganz sicher, ob Trinkgeld in Deutschland üblich ist – nach über drei Jahren hier werden wir zum ersten Mal von der Kellnerin dazu aufgefordert. Wir bestellten die berühmte Ente, aber es war leider nicht das erhoffte unvergessliche Erlebnis.

Ich kann die ein oder andere negative Bewertung absolut nicht nachvollziehen: Fantastisches Essen, tolle Geschmackserlebnisse! Habe mich heute Abend mit einer Freundin durch sämtliche Gerichte probiert und bin begeistert! Es gibt auch viele vegane Optionen. Der Service war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Inhaber ist zudem total sympathisch und zerteilt die Ente live am Tisch. Klare Empfehlung!

Augezeichnete Peking-Ente in herzlicher Atmosphäre! Wenn man schon mal dort ist, sollte man die besagte Peking-Ente bestellen. Die Ente wurde am Tisch kunstvoll portioniert und mit traditionellen kleinen Pfannkuchen serviert. Wir waren zu dritt und danach mehr als satt. Es kann auch eine halbe Ente bestellt werden oder eben zur Not der Rest mitgenommen werden 😋 Im Übrigen sind die vielen Dim Sum-Varianten zu empfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Eigentlich keinen Stern verdient, vor allem wegen des Services. Wir waren zu viert dort und wurden sehr unfreundlich bedient. Es wurde abgeräumt, ohne zu fragen, ob alles passt oder ob wir noch etwas möchten. Bei der Bezahlung wurde trotz klarer Ablehnung mehrfach nach Trinkgeld gefragt sehr unangenehm. Das Essen war durchschnittlich, sehr fettig, kleine Portionen und dafür zu teuer. Nach der Zahlung kein Danke, keine Verabschiedung, der Beleg wurde wortlos hingelegt. Insgesamt sehr unangenehme Atmosphäre. Wir kommen definitiv nicht wieder.

Früher war es wirklich hervorragend, mit einer außergewöhnlichen Auswahl an Dim Sum. Doch nicht nur die Auswahl ist stark eingeschränkt, sondern auch die Freundlichkeit des Personals hat stark nachgelassen. Jetzt wirkt es wie ein Schnellimbiss, in dem man schnell etwas isst und wieder geht. Die Hälfte der Gerichte war wirklich gut, die andere Hälfte bestenfalls mittelmäßig. Schade.

Wow, also ich gebe selten einem Gericht eine 10/10 jedoch war diese Peking Ente ein besonderes Erlebnis. Auch nach dem Essen konnten wir uns mit dem Inhaber unterhalten, der wirklich übelst sympathisch war. Wer auf echte, authentische Chinesische Küche steht, muss auf jeden Fall dahin.

Essen ist nicht chinesisch authentisch. Alle Gerichte sind gefertigt und erwärmt worden. Geschmack ist verloren. Peking - Ente ist nicht zart genug. Eine Show zu schneiden für mich ist nicht wichtig. Als chinese aus Peking ist enttäuscht.

Nicht unser bestes Erlebnis in dieser Kategorie von Küche, obwohl wir nicht die Pekingente bestellt haben, die anscheinend ihre Spezialität ist, und das Zerkleinern am Tisch viele begeisterte Reaktionen hervorrief.

Fantastische Pekingente und Vorspeisen, sehr schneller Service. Der Eigentümer hat sich kurz zu uns gesetzt und erklärt wie er die Pekingenten kocht. Ein toller Abend, gerne wieder!

Das Essen war war gut! Man bestellt an iPads. Preislich etwas gehoben:)

Die DimSum waren herrlich. Wir haben eine gute Variation genommen. Ich hätte auch gerne mehr ausprobiert, aber es müsste natürlich auch die Ente probiert werden. Die Ente ist ein Gaumenschmaus. Im Menü sollte man es auf jeden Fall ausprobieren. Die Haut mit chinesischen Pfannkuchen und Gemüse und dann das Entenfleisch mit Gemüse Soße und Reis eine Sinnliche Erfahrung. Sicherlich zahlt man auch für die Show beim Drangieren zu zugucken, aber es ist spaßig. Man kann nur die Enge des Ladens kritisieren, Ansonsten ist alles Fabelhaft.

Die Pekingente war wirklich so gut, wie alle gesagt haben, und wurde mit viel Enthusiasmus und einem Lächeln serviert 😊 Der Service war sehr schnell und zuvorkommend, selbst an einem vollen Freitagabend. Die Getränke waren gut, und die Sesamcreme mit Eis war ein wirklich gelungener Abschluss eines hervorragenden Essens. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Früher habe ich dieses Restaurant geliebt, aber in letzter Zeit hatte ich ein paar schlechte Erfahrungen. Die letzte war am Freitag, als ich mit einer Freundin zum Abendessen verabredet war. Es war eine Katastrophe. Obwohl wir reserviert hatten, wurden wir in einen winzigen Platz am Fenster gesetzt. Das Restaurant war überfüllt, weit über seiner Kapazität, und Fremde saßen dicht an dicht. Das Essen war fade, und selbst die berühmte Pekingente war nicht durchgebraten. Der Service war eine Katastrophe: desinteressiert, abweisend und unaufmerksam. Getränke wurden vergessen, und uns wurde das Essen quasi hingeworfen, wie in einer Kantine. Wegen der vielen Gäste war es laut und unruhig, und man konnte sich unmöglich unterhalten. Es war ein wirklich schlechtes Erlebnis, und am Ende haben wir unser Essen nicht einmal aufgegessen. Wir kommen nicht wieder.

Die Entenhaut war so lecker 👍🏻👍🏻 Die Zubereitung der Ente war ebenfalls hervorragend, und das Essen war insgesamt sehr lecker. Es war mir etwas zu salzig, aber insgesamt war ich sehr zufrieden ^^

Leider war unser Besuch in diesem Restaurant sehr enttäuschend. Die Bedienung war unaufmerksam und wirkte wenig interessiert. Als das Essen endlich kam, war es dann auch noch falsch. Statt sich zu entschuldigen, wollte man uns zunächst kein neues Gericht zubereiten und hat versucht, den Fehler einfach abzutun. Erst nach längerer Diskussion wurde widerwillig ein neues Essen gemacht. So ein Umgang mit Gästen ist absolut unprofessionell. Insgesamt stimmt hier weder der Service noch der Umgang mit Fehlern. Wir kommen definitiv nicht wieder und können dieses Restaurant leider nicht empfehlen. Das Restaurant war sehr schmutzig der komplette Boden hat geklebt und es waren Essensreste auf dem Boden. Also nie wieder !

Das Essen und der Service sind fantastisch. Bestellt wird ausschließlich via Tablett, was super funktioniert hat. Die Ente und das Dim Sum- der absolute Knaller! Kann es nur empfehlen. Reservierung wird empfohlen.

The food was delicious, but ordering via QR code is still a nightmare for me. The Peking duck was superb, although the pricing was rather imaginative.

We were very disappointed with the food. We ordered the spicy chicken twice and the Thai iced tea. The food tasted very artificial, like it came from a supermarket, and the Thai iced tea was extremely sweet syrup and therefore barely edible. My partner didn't even touch her food or drink. When the server cleared the table, we pointed out that we hadn't enjoyed the food or drinks at all. Unfortunately, we weren't offered anything else, and they simply charged us, which I find very regrettable, especially considering the price. It wouldn't have been a problem to offer something different. I work in the restaurant industry myself, and my policy is that if a guest is dissatisfied with their food, I either remove the dish from the bill or offer a replacement. As an apology, she said she brought us two fortune cookies. But you always get those. Very rude. We had a much better experience on our first visit. We'll have to go to a different restaurant now…

Not only was the food incredibly delicious, but the service was fantastic as well. You can tell that the staff genuinely enjoy being hosts and want to offer guests a warm and exceptional experience. The concept of being able to conveniently place orders using trays is also incredibly efficient. And yet, the personal touch isn't lost. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it to everyone! ☺️❤️

Food arrives quickly, tastes good, friendly service, prices are reasonable, authentic Chinese food, many Chinese people also come here. Back again Restaurant + We were there in October 2025 + Chinese (Cantonese) Restaurant - The half Peking duck (enough for 2 people) was fantastic and probably unbeatable in taste, paper-thin crispy skin and tender meat - The Peking duck was carved right at the table by the certified world champion duck carver - It came with paper-thin pancakes, hoisin sauce, and vegetables (the Peking duck was in stock and didn't need to be pre-ordered). Everything was very well seasoned and the portions were ample - Beforehand, we had a Chinese cucumber salad, which you can only find in China, very delicious - There are many typical Chinese dishes to choose from, especially the homemade specialties of the house, such as dim sum - Chinese ambiance in the form of pictures on the walls - Service was always very friendly and fast - The food and drink menu in German is available Delivered in tablet form, which takes some getting used to and didn't work smoothly. - Clean restrooms - Reservations are highly recommended for evenings, as the restaurant is usually busy; a special app with a reminder function is available. - Relatively cramped dining area - High noise level in the restaurant - Authentic dishes (many Chinese dine here) - Wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages - Cash or card payments accepted - Good value for money - Restaurant is highly recommended

The waiter's attitude was very sad and low key, even racist. He left me waiting and gave priority to caucasian people.

I absolutely loved this place. We found China Restaurant Yung while looking for a good dinner spot nearby, and as someone who enjoys Chinese food — especially Cantonese cuisine — I was very impressed. Everything we tried was delicious and authentically flavored: the fried eggplant, fried noodles, and of course, the dim sum mix were all excellent. The interior is simple and functional, not flashy — just like many truly good restaurants in China, where the focus is on the taste and authenticity of the food. The service was warm and friendly, and overall, it was a wonderful dining experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I highly question the rating showed in goggle map. All the 4.4+ rating restaurants I visited in Europe were not as bad as this one. The service was good, waitresses were patient (12:40pm, only had 3 tables of customers) and friendly. I ordered nearly all kinds of Dim Sums, sour-spicy soup, KongBau Tofu and Peking roasted duck. None of them were above average, except the duck-- was just okay. The foods' taste and quality were just not good and not authentic (definitely not higher than 4 stars). The roasted duck was not better than the other Chinese restaurants you can eat every where in Germany and it cost 90 euro, though it included the price for the chef slicing the duck meat, and they just kept entire duck after slicing the skin and little meat. Only good was the drinks. The restaurant was very disappointing. I definitely will not go again. We spent 189 euro for 5 people. Not worth it and not recommended!

Where did the people with the 5-star rating actually eat? Not here. The menu ordering system combined with the complete service is unbeatable. Just right for the Nordend clientele.

Delicious Peking duck 🦆 – tender meat and crispy skin. Highly recommended!

We had Cantonese duck, which was good and I recommend it if you like it. The portion was much too small for €30. The staff was very friendly, and ordering via the tablet was very convenient and worked very well.

Had a duck that was filleted at the table. It tasted great. Service was very attentive. Unfortunately, the place was very noisy.

We arrived at the restaurant without a reservation. Relaxed, fun atmosphere and a beautiful restaurant. The host is charming and gives a great explanation of the menu if needed. Takeaway was prepared quickly. Very interesting presentation of duck, and a whole chicken was served and cut professionally, everything was delicious and a very positive experience. We will definitely be back again

My partner and I took a dumpling cooking class last week, followed by Peking duck (included in the cooking class package). It was a wonderful evening. We had a lot of fun cooking, and the hosts were super friendly and very engaging, so we had a truly wonderful experience. The Peking duck, which was served with side dishes after the cooking class, was also delicious.

Actually I was forced to pay a tip when I paid the bill, but before I ordered my food nobody tells me about. The tip is not an obligation in DE , also the portion of food is really under average. But we paid over average. BTW the Peking duck isn’t cooked in a traditional way.

Excellent food, especially recommend the duck

I had cucumber salad and dumplings on the outdoor terrace. All very tasty and refreshing. Prices are on the higher side. The restaurant is known for its Peking duck. Several guests around me ordered it. Both the preparation and the duck looked very good. The owner of the restaurant is also very friendly.

I took the dim sum course. It was great. The food and atmosphere were fantastic. What I would have also liked would have been a dim sum certificate.

Really tasty home-made dim sum. The portion size is very good and the quality of the ingredients and preparation were excellent. I grew up in a chinese household and I can vouch for the authentic flavours! The owner was extremely friendly and staff very forthcoming. I will come here again to try the peking duck!

The Yung family prepared a special Sunday lunch for us. The mixed dim sum was a delight, each flavor delicately seasoned. The highlight was the Peking duck, carved live by the chef in record time, which was very entertaining. The crispy duck skin and the meat wrapped in pancakes tasted incredibly delicious. Thank you for the experience!

The food was really good, especially the duck, but the dumplings also left nothing to be desired. Unfortunately, the service was very unprofessional. A main course was only brought to the table after four requests, even though everyone had already finished eating. A side dish for the duck was also only brought to the table after several requests. And then they tell you that's common practice in China. Hahaha. At these prices, I expect professional service. Therefore, I wouldn't necessarily recommend the restaurant.

Everything I ate was delicious. The Peking duck was served in two portions, the skin and the meat. The meat was very tender and even though I was full I couldn't stop eating. I thought it was very convenient that you can order on a tablet or by scanning a code you can order on your phone. You can see pictures of all the dishes so you won't get something you didn't expect. The drinks were served quickly and it was delicious, easy-to-enjoy authentic Chinese food. I'd definitely like to visit again.

We had a fantastic evening at the dim sum cooking class yesterday. The restaurant owner and her team were super nice and organized and designed everything so well. We had a lot of fun. Highly recommended 👍

2* for the location and the XLB. Otherwise the food is expensive for what you get. The dimsum is not homemade. One of the female staff is extremely rude. When she brought us the iPad so we could order our food, she simply threw it on our table without saying a word. Afterwards when I asked for the bill, I did not tip her because of her behavior. She took the money and didn’t even say thank you, and gave us dirty stares. When we left, she didn’t even respond to our goodbye. Would not recommend and will not return.

You'd think they earned the 5 stars. Unfortunately, there were waits... due to kitchen backlogs. Because everything is freshly prepared there. So, no frozen items; if there's a shortage, they prepare them from scratch. Admittedly, we made a spontaneous reservation for nine people, so I understand the situation. Nevertheless, the staff were understanding of the long wait and managed us well, with a nice ending. The food was very good and the price-performance ratio was quite acceptable for 2025. The only thing that caught my attention was the Wangtan soup... The pepper was really powerful... at least my nose was clear :)

They advertise homemade dim sum, but those in my order (char sui and xiao long bao) were from a factory, and not even a good one. That's lie number two. Lie number one was when I arrived and the old lady serving me directed me to a table, then changed her mind on realising I was alone and said that the kitchen was closed. This was one hour before closing time, with plenty of free seats. But before I could leave a different waiter saw me and directed me to a table, where I was before long served my low-grade dim sum. Avoid this place.

The duck, the duck, the duck! Absolutely outstanding — truly the star of the menu. While the other dishes didn’t leave a strong impression, the duck was exceptionally well prepared and worth every cent. Yes, it’s on the pricier side, but at least you’re paying for real quality. The owner was welcoming, and genuinely attentive — a lovely touch that added to the experience.

The boss argues with Chinese people why they don't tip. If a German pays the bill without a tip, the boss thanks him with a smile. It is the innkeeper's right to demand tips as a service provider. Whether the customer tips or not and in what amount is the customer's right. Don't be embarrassed if the bill is paid without a tip. In this case, the innkeeper would still have the chance to politely ask if the customer is unhappy with the food or service and why. Simply accusing the customer of not knowing German culture is an impertinence. The fact that the store treats German and Chinese customers differently when it comes to tipping has already been discussed several times in Chinese forums. We should really be ashamed of this discriminatory behavior.

Delicious pecking duck, extra meat with sauce and vegetables, super tasty dimsum. Friendly, fast, unobtrusive service. Recommended, even if the ambience is a bit reminiscent of a snack bar. The fifth star for the food is only missing because the Peking duck in the old duck house was better.

As soon as we entered the restaurant we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt welcome. The service was not only attentive, but also exceptionally friendly! About the food: Simply great! The two of us had the Peking duck. The duck was very tasty – crispy, tender and full of flavour. The side dishes and sauces were also excellent. You can immediately tell that the food here is cooked with love and high quality. The atmosphere is cozy. We felt incredibly comfortable and enjoyed every moment. Conclusion: An absolute must for all lovers of Chinese cuisine!

Dumplings were ok, duck was a disaster, simply dry, even the legs were dry, show was ok with carving but in the end it's the taste that counts and we're not happy. Sorry

Walked past it 1000 times and never went in. Thought one of many Chinese restaurants. Oh no, we were wrong. Small shop with lots of tables. The service, owner and everyone else are very pleasant and try very hard. Now to eat. There's Chinese and there's Mr. Yung. Everything but really everything was simply delicious. I had to order the steamed/fried rolls with beef twice, they are addictive. The Peking duck was very good, I don't know if it could be better. We'll definitely be back.

My favorite Chinese restaurant in Frankfurt 🤩 the dim sum is a little higher priced, but the quality is TOP. I think that many restaurants have lost quality in recent years, but here I actually think that the dim sum tastes even better than before 😋

The food was OK, but the service was very unfriendly. I could clearly see that the waitress treated us very differently than the other German guests and she specifically asked for a tip for the service she never gave us. The dim sums were quite salty for my taste, and the orange chicken was very average. In addition, the QR ordering system is very unnecessary and unpleasantly organized

We came here with my girlfriend based on the good reviews and left with mixed feelings, but thank god the food quality was very good. Positive points: -Quality of the Peking duck was very good! -The show of cutting off the skin of the Peking duck in front of us was also very good. Neutral: -60 euros for half a Peking duck is expensive, but I say that without working in the catering industry and it is my opinion. At least the quality is good here. You won't get full with two people, but that's ok if you know that beforehand. -Atmosphere is nothing special. Negative points: -We arrived at 4pm on 03/08/2025 and the Asian waitress said "oh god more work" when she saw us. That's not possible, I'm the guest and I deserve minimal respect if I want to spend my hard-earned money. I would like to come back because of the food quality and hope that the service quality will be improved.

We waited for an hour for our food and it wasn't much just a salad and noodle but in an hour we only got the salad and also asked what was wrong with the noodle but they said that it wasn't ready yet.

I went to Yung's again today after a great takeaway experience. Again I wasn't disappointed! You can easily book a table via Google, and given the limited spaces, you should. You are warmly welcomed, given a short introduction to the dishes and specialties (such as Peking duck), and then you order in a relaxed manner using a tablet. We chose (again) the sensational orange chicken, a super tasty cucumber salad, dumplings, and a noodle soup with braised beef. All of the food was really outstanding! The price is not exactly cheap, but you will also be impressed by a great package. Card payment is possible, and as a last tip: the iced tea with milk was also great!

We have been working in the catering industry ourselves (have been working in the catering industry for over 35 years) and are fortunate to have had several experiences in fine dining in different countries. For us the stay was PERFECT. Modern ordering options via tablet or QR code, as well as very friendly help/clarification/support at the table from the owner. GREAT! Quality of the food is outstanding. We ordered the Peking duck menu as well as various dim sum and EVERYTHING tasted good without any problem. Tender meat, aromatic sauce, delicate dim sum and fried baozi. Price performance for Frankfurt City is absolutely fine!!! If we could...we would have wanted to try more of the delicacies...but at some point our stomach says stop. ......Too bad :-) We will definitely be back and definitely recommend it. Food was about average, however the owner is extremely rude and unprofessional. I ate solo and racked up a €50 bill. When asked by the manger if I would like to leave a tip, I kindly refused. She remarked “stupid Americans” and did not say anything further. Firstly, I am European, not American, but nevertheless this service was appalling, just because I did not leave a tip! The young waitress who was observing the interaction mouthed “so sorry!” to me as I left. I have lived in Frankfurt for over 6 months and I am appalled at the service in this restaurant, I have not experienced anything like it. If you like average food and shitty service, you know where to go!

I'm impressed with their dish and cleanliness

My girlfriend and I had a great evening with good food. A few dim sums as a starter, half the duck in the menu as a main course and mochi as dessert. The service was very friendly, even though the restaurant no longer had any free tables. And that on a Wednesday evening. Speaks for itself :) We became aware of the restaurant through Instagram - the duck was highly praised here. And we weren't disappointed! It is also a nice experience to see the duck being carved at the table. The skin was 1a. I had never eaten it before. The duck meat was also nice and juicy. I also think the ordering system via the tablet is brilliant. Drinks sometimes arrived 1-2 minutes after ordering. Thank you for the good food!

Very tasty Peking duck and the iced tea was awesome. We also recommend the eggplant vegetable. The duck is prepared directly at the table by the record holder himself. Dim sum cooking classes are offered on site. The dim sum was very tasty. We'd love to come back :)

Best Chinese Restaurant around, speaking from European perspective. Hugely welcoming and passionate staff, savory food, and last but not least an official world record holder for Peking duck. Btw, picking up food also works very well. Highly recommend the Orange Chicken, the spicy Eggplant and of course Dim Sum. Must have.

the food we had here was really delicious. The Peking duck might actually be the best in town. The dim sum was also very fresh and tasty. The selection on the menu is large, there is something for every taste. the staff was very helpful and friendly. The prices are reasonable, overall it was a very satisfactory experience

Frankfurt's best address for dumplings and Peking duck. Both excellent, tasty and always prepared with fresh ingredients. There is also an extensive daily menu with constantly changing specialties. The service and the owner are very friendly and the price-performance ratio is good. Clear recommendation!

It's a shame there was no fried ice cream this time. Pretty cheap for what you get.

Bro didn't want us to eat orange chicken and forced his starters on us, regardless, still a relaxed guy!
