Yesterday we went to the Yung Restaurant for a “Cooking & Enjoying Dim Sum x Peking Duck” cooking class and more than enjoyed the perfectly timed 4 hours there. The reception and the group were very warm, we laughed and learned a lot and feasted uninhibitedly when the Guinness World Record holder for the fastest carving of Peking duck served us this house specialty with fantastic side dishes (including Chinese wraps). We can now continue to work on our folding techniques for the little delicacies using the recipes at home and we look forward to our next visit to Oeder Weg 32 in Frankfurt. Unfortunately I have to say very poor service from the restaurant. I booked a dim sum cooking class and had to cancel it, but unfortunately the Young restaurant didn't respond to my attempts to contact me and I'm still waiting for my amount to be refunded. I think something like that is part of good service in a restaurant. Unfortunately

Very good authentic food from Hong Kong I would even say, better than Pak Choi or Madame Mai. It's not cheap but very tasty. You can eat here once a month if you want to eat Guan Dong/Hong Kong style.

We attended the cooking class and really enjoyed the evening. Class organized and learned a lot! The owners are warm, cheerful, patient and super nice!!

This was our second time here for the Peking duck. The 4 of us shared the mixed dim sum (25 pieces, all homemade) and then a Peking duck. At the end a few mocchi and everyone was full. The homemade lemonades and iced teas are available with or without sugar. I think that's great. The boss dismantles the duck at the table and has recently become the record holder for the fastest dissection. We'd love to come back.

Dear Yung family, We ordered 3 different soups for 25 people from you for our garden party. The ingredients such as noodles, vegetables and meat or tofu were available to put together at the buffet. Then pour hot soup from the pot on the gas grill over it. The guests were very enthusiastic about the Asian soup and we as hosts received praise from everyone, which we are happy to pass on to the restaurant. We can only recommend imitating it and accompanying it with some pictures. LG Isabel and Horst

We discovered the restaurant by chance today and were immediately warmly welcomed by the owner, Chikei Yung! He took the time to explain the ordering process to us via tablet. By the way, this worked very well - all the dishes are explained very well on the menu and also provided with photos. On his recommendation, we tried different dim sum variations and then ordered chicken and Chinese broccoli again. We are absolutely thrilled with the kitchen. The food is fresh, very, very well seasoned and you can taste the many years of experience and passion behind it. After dinner we sat with the owner for a while and talked about how the food was prepared. We were just as impressed by this family service as the taste of the food. As a Chinese I must say this is the worst Chinese food that I have ever eaten in my life.. Kung Pao chicken is not salty but so sweet to the point that it's sticky in your throat. Also ordered a noodle and I don't understand why they put this amount of auger in the noodle. While I was totally disgusted I was asked to give tips 😅 fine then I decided to write a review

Insanely delicious food, but they don't have an English menu, it is served through a translator where everything is not true. As a result, they brought us Peking duck in some kind of stewed sauce, when we said that this was not what we wanted, they started yelling at us that this is your problem, you are in Germany and we don’t care what was translated there and how, they didn’t exclude it from the bill , the dish was taken away and not replaced. A terrible male waiter, he doesn’t know how to control himself and doesn’t even want to hear the client, he ruined the whole evening

We had a great evening here. From the service to the food, everything was really great. The boss is super nice and carved the duck in no time. The dim sums were very diverse and delicious. I recommend a few dim sums as a starter and duck as a main course.

Agree with what Nicole moji said, unfortunately they do not have any improvements after five months and we've faced the same experience. We made a reservation and when we've arrived, we've saw an empty seats, but the waiter still made us wait at the door and after a long time put us in a corner. The attitude of the waiter was also bad, no smile at all! But was full of warmth and smiles to Caucasian. After we finished our meal, we realized the original empty seats was still empty. Is it reserved for God? The waiter was very unsatisfied when we didn't tip. Since your service has been so poor and left us dissatisfied, would we still tip you? Don't visit this place if you are also an Asian face. It's obviously a Chinese restaurant, but it's not welcoming to Asians at all, it might as well be a Western restaurant instead and do your Caucasians' business properly!

Unfortunately, I can't understand the positive reviews - it's a somewhat dingy, upscale snack bar with overpriced offerings. The service seemed trained but by no means familiar. The portions are too small for the price and it could have been a little cleaner. However, the food tasted quite good and was fresh too. The 3.50 for a spoonful of extra sauce didn't really add to the feel-good factor. No - Chinese is different, you still have to practice...

Unfortunately we had a very bad experience there. The food is just ok. But the service level was quite low and you guys should be aware that the waiter could be rude and will actively ask you for tips and if you don’t give them enough as they want. You may receive a wish: we don’t want to see you anymore 😂. To the response from restaurant: 1. good service we didn't feel. But nice to hear your confidence and hubris. If your waiter didn’t get tips, you should ask him and evaluate his service, as you said, tips reflect the service level. But never request customers. 2. if it is your own style to behave like this, we suggest you to put your words as a slogan on your window to propagandize your “no tips no table”, so that everyone can see before they experience it. Service: the food is ordered with a tablet, which is in my opinion not very easy to use, for example, return to the main menu, and we had a bit of problem using it and the way the situation was handled is a bit hectic I would say. And this way of ordering reminded me of somehthing between restaurant and imbiss. Towards the end we would like to pay the bill, I tried it with the machine on the table but it did not work so we waited long, after calling for two or three times, for the owner to come to us. After I said that we waited long he replied: you could have used the machine to pay. It was my fault that as an "old" man for technology I can not use it correctly. I am sorry for that but I am glad that I don't need to use it again. As to the tips, if you read the one star reviews, you see the pattern. I have never experiecned an active request for tipps with this level of service. I will give tips when I have experienced good service. But obviously it is taken as as a given by the owner and he said directly to our face that he did not want to see us again after we have not gave enough tips in his opinion. And the owern claims that tip is common in Chinese culture. well, not that as I know. As far as I know in Canton and Hongkong it is common to charge 茶水费 namely tee money, but it in itself in controversial and the tee is in the service, which is not the case in this restaurant yung. So I don't know what part of China he is representing. Would be glad if he could let me know. Food: I am growing up in Canton and have been to Hongkong, I am suprised that as a Dim-Sum house (or partly the reclaimed it is) they don't have Stir-Fried Rice Noodles with Beef 干炒牛河，a whole class of steamed vermicelli roll 肠粉 and other typical Dim Sums which you can find in a Dim Sum house. And I have different expectation of Kung Pao chicken, to be honest. unfortunately I forgeot to take a photo. The most dissapointing dish is the har gow namely the shrimp dumpling, which is my benchmark for a dim sum restaurant. The wrapper was not thin enough, it ws overcooked and sticked partly to the paper below, and the shrimp inside ist in my opinon not pur shrimp meat but mixed with wheat or something similar, therefore the flavor has great potential for improvement. Ambience: like many other chinese restaurants the ambience almost fufills all the expectation of western about how a chinese restaurant looks like. It is old-fashioned and stereotypical. No further comments on that. I have wished the chinese restaurant to be modern and high-end, at least with the price of the food this restaurant provides.

Very delicious lacquered duck, perfectly and skilfully served at the table. The duck skin with the pancakes and the hoisin sauce to put in😋 The dim sum, jiaozi with chicken, was also delicious as a starter. We received great advice and were treated very kindly. It was also very well attended, but unfortunately the acoustics in the restaurant are a bit loud. But all in all, definitely one of the best Chinese in Frankfurt!

Very generic ‘asian’ food. Mapo Tofu did not taste authentic. Everything else was very mid.

We've been coming here frequently for years and no matter what we try, it's always delicious! Everything is freshly prepared, it is very clean, the waiters are friendly and helpful and the prices are more than fair for the location and quality! The dim sum and the Peking duck in particular are a hit. Oh, and be sure to try the mochi - I haven't found any better here in Germany!

Super nice service and super good dumplings

Friendly original Chinese Restaurant. Efficient ordering with the menu tablets. Although the dumpling mix was a little blend and could do with more taste, the main courses Chicken Sweet and Sour and Chicken and Kung Pao were very tasteful and nice to look at. We were a bit drawn back because of the price of the Peking Duck, 1/2 Duck for 48 euro were it stated on the menu this was for 1 person. But the table next to us ordered the 1/2 Duck for two people and it looked more than enough so we'll try that next time. Lemonade was nice too and it was refreshing that they didn't push us in to a pricy bottle of water as so many Frankfurt Restaurants do and is very annoying. Everything was great, would recommend it if you like original food and atmosphere. The only thing I would recommend is a better airflow system in the kitchen since the whole restaurant smells of fried food and so do your clothes afterwards.

A very nice and good restaurant with delicious dim sum and an extremely tasty Peking duck. The operators and staff are super nice and warm and the dim sum is actually handmade. The restaurant also offers cooking courses, which are excellently organized and make the evening fly by with food, drinks and conversation. We recommend!

We were in this restaurant for the first time on Friday and were immediately greeted in a very friendly and familiar manner. We didn't have a reservation, but we still got a table. The selection is very extensive and sounds very good. Almost every table had the carved duck 👍👍👍. On our next visit we will try the duck and reserve it just in case. Thank you 🙏

Wir hatten noch nie Peking Ente gegessen und waren sehr dankbar, dass wir in diese Spezialität so freundlich und professionell eingeführt wurden. Zuerst hatten wir gemischte Dim Sum und dann eine ganze Ente für 3 Personen. Sehr köstlich und es hat sich mehr als gelohnt. Wer authentische Peking Ente oder phantastische Dim Sum probieren möchte, der ist hier allerbestens aufgehoben.

I'm looking for a Chinese restaurant that has Peking duck🪿. So that my boyfriend could try it Because it's one of my favorite foods. And come see this restaurant, everything is fresh and homemade. The shop makes homemade hoisin sauce. Fresh duck, not frozen Duck and the meat has a soft and flavorful texture. And the skin is very crispy. Perfect dim sum Large pieces of hagao, soft dough, very impressive.😊🙏🏻

Die Wantan Nudel Suppe hat nach Wasser geschmeckt. Die Suppe hat gar keinen Geschmack und die Wantan waren ebenfalls ohne Würze.

Wir waren des Öfteren schon dort, zu Zweit aber auch in größeren Gruppen. Das Essen (Ente wie Dim Sums) ist außergewöhnlich und alles super lecker, dort zu sein ist jedes Mal ein kleines Event. Der Service ist immer auf Zack und sehr freundlich. Ganz besonders hervorheben möchte ich jedoch den Inhaber: er strahlt eine solche Positivität aus und ist mit so viel Engagement und Leidenschaft bei der Sache, dass ich hier nicht nur mit Essen bedient werde, sondern auch mit Inspiration und Visionen. Seine Einstellung und seine Ausstrahlung sind einfach nur ansteckend und man verlässt diesen Laden nicht nur gesättigt, sondern auch inspiriert und mitgerissen. Darüber hinaus möchte ich ein großes Kompliment der Dame in der Küche aussprechen, die die hervorragendsten Mochis zaubert, die ich je probieren durfte (insbesondere die Snow-Mochis!?). Auch wenn ich nicht zum Essen bei Yung im Oeder-Weg bin schaue ich jedes Mal, wenn ich in der Nähe bin, online nach, ob ich Mochis holen kann. Was mich zum nächsten Punkt führt: eine so super geführte, aktuelle und selbsterklärende Online-Karte findet man selten. Rundum eine ganz große Empfehlung und ein herzliches Danke an Inhaber, Köche und Service-Personal :)

Wir sind zufällig vorbei gefahren und haben dem ganzen eine Chance gegeben, was wir alles andere als Bereuen- Es war von der Vorspeise bis zum Desert einfach köstlich! Der Kabeljau war butterzart, die Gewürze frisch und sehr elegant angerichtet. Nicht nur das Auge sondern auch der Magen hat sich überaus gefreut. Wir kommen nun öfter und probieren uns durch die exklusive Karte 👌

Großartige Pekingente und auch echt leckere Dim Sums. Ein Geheimtipp und spontaner Besuch der sich mehr als ausgezahlt hat und definitiv wiederholt wird. Für mich unverständlich, warum hier nicht mindestens 4,5 Sterne stehen. Einziger Wermutstropfen war ein komplett leerer aber reservierter 10er Tisch am Samstagabend und ein geknickter Wirt. Leute, sagt doch wenigstens ab wenn Ihr nicht kommt… Sowas hat kein Gastronom verdient.

Wir waren zum Dim sum Kochkurs hier. Die Besitzer sind unheimlich nett und haben uns mit viel Geduld verschiedene Falttechniken gezeigt. Zum Hauptgang gab es Pekingente vom Restaurant zubereitet und zum Nachtisch durften wir selbst noch Mochis machen. Wir hatten einen richtig schönen Abend und das Essen hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Für zwischen durch top laden . Für Kleine Gruppe. Modernes bestell system. Was leicht konfus sein kann aber die Kellner wissen charmant zu helfen. Selten so gut gegessen wie dort und wenn Riesengarnelen drauf steht bekommst du auch echte Garnelen

Sehr kühles Ambiente, wir haben beim Essen gefroren. Die Ente war sehr gut, die Dim Sum eher mittelmäßig. Durch die Bestellung mit dem Tablet wird das ganze sehr unpersönlich und erinnert an ein Schnellrestaurant. In die Richtung ist das ganze wohl auch ausgelegt. Es ist nicht gemütlich und die Leute sollen wohl essen und schnell wieder gehen. Und das ganze ist auch sehr teuer. Preis Leistung stimmt nicht.

Mit bester Dim Sum Laden in Frankfurt wenn man die Qualität der Nahrung in den Vordergrund stellt. Leider vergleichsweise etwas zu teuer daher nur 4 trotzdem sehr empfehlenswert.

Wir waren vor etwa 2 Wochen bei Yung essen. Bereits vor über 10 Jahren war es die chinesische Küche meines Vertrauens. Nach längerer Zeit die ich nicht in Frankfurt lebte, habe ich Yung wieder "gefunden". Einmal volles Programm. :) Peking-Suppe: der absolute Kracher. Pikant und genial unvergleichlicher Geschmack (hat über all die Jahre nicht an Qualität eingebüßt) Die Tochter und ihre Freundin aßen Dim-Sum vor ihrem Hauptgericht und mussten u.a. gleich vor und nach dem Essen Frühlingsrollen bestellen. Portion Nudeln für den Kleinen Sohnemann waren auch perfekt. Ihm hat es auch geschmeckt. (Das heißt was, wenn der Kleine muffelt) Die Peking-Ente (groß/2 Gänge) war ebenfalls der absolute Hammer. Hat perfekt für 3 Personen gepasst. Die dazu servierten Pfannkuchen (hauchdünne) haben hervorragend gepasst zum Einlegen des Entenfleisches. Qualität hat man mit jedem Gang/Gericht geschmeckt. Einfach genial gewesen dieser Abend! Das erste Mal, das ich eine Restaurant-Rechnung von über 160€ hatte, aber bereut habe ich keinen Cent - bis heute. Der, wenn überhaupt, einzige Minuspunkt ist die Lokation im Oeder Weg. Das Restaurant sieht von Außen etwas unscheinbar aus und wirkt auf den ersten Blick wie viele anderen Asia-Imbisse. Aber lasst euch gesagt sein: Das Innere, das was mit Herz dort geboten wird, ist eine andere Welt! Immer wieder gerne! Grüsse

Der Besitzer ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Man bekommt für die Preise einen erstklassigen Service! Ich komme sehr gerne wieder zum Essen ^-^

Endlich einmal authentische und wahnsinnig leckere chinesische Küche. Ich habe drei Jahre in Singapur gelebt und vermisse das wunderbare Essen so sehr. In diesem unauffälligen kleinen Restaurant habe ich die besten Xiao Long Bao außerhalb Asiens gegessen. Große Empfehlung!

Wow, war das lecker. Habe verschiedene Dim Sum zum mitnehmen bestellt, geht online und hat super geklappt. Bei der kurzen Wartezeit im Restaurant waren alle sehr, wirklich sehr freundlich. Man merkt dass sich hier Chef und Angestellte verstehen. Zurück zum Essen: Die besten Dim Sum die ich bisher gegessen habe. Wirklich gut! Wenn ich mal wieder in Frankfurt bin werde ich definitiv wieder kommen!

Ausgezeichnete Küche. Absolut zu empfehlen. Jeder Besuch ein kulinarisches Highlight.

Ich kann das Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen , Man kommt rein, bekommt einen Platz zugewiesen und statt einer Menü Karte , bekommt man ein Tablet in die Hand gedrückt. Über das Tablet kann man alles machen, Essen und Getränke bestellen oder nachbestellen Oder die Bedienung rufen. Und das Essen ist auch sehr gut. Als wir fertig mit dem Essen waren. Bekamen wir einen Transponder mit QR Code, Code mit dem eigenen Handy scannen und mit der Luca App bezahlen

Bei unserem jährlichen Besuch in Frankfurt ist es zum Ritual geworden, dass wir mit all unseren Freunden hier essen gehen. Das Essen ist fantastisch - wir haben eigentlich schon fast alles probiert! Der Service ist super! Auch wenn immer viel los ist, bleibt der Chef immer happy, was fast schon ansteckend ist :) Wir kommen richtig gerne her, lassen uns von der Kunst des Zubereitens der Peking-Ente beeindrucken und fühlen uns total wohl. PS: Es ist nur sehr schade, dass es den knusprigen Schweinebauch nicht mehr gibt ...

Ich liebe dieses Restaurant! Es gibt die beste Peking Ente der Stadt – definitiv! Bislang ist die Quote an guten Gerichten beziehungsweise super leckeren Gerichten immer noch sehr sehr hoch. Wir probieren uns ständig neu durch die Karten. Waren am Freitag erst wieder mit Freunden da. Gemeinsam haben wir deutlich über unseren Hunger gegessen und waren uns dennoch am Ende einig, wir kommen wieder! Der kleine Runde Tisch in der Ecke unter dem Ventilator ist meiner Meinung nach sehr geeignet für ein Treffen mit Freunden. Wir konnten uns super unterhalten und trotzdem alle den bunten Treiben auf dem Oederweg folgen. Der Besitzer ist einfach super witzig! Er rundet den Abend stets ab.

Ich kann das Restaurant uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Ein sehr familiäres Restaurant was qualitativ mit den solchen in den China-Towns wie in London oder New York voll mithalten kann. Die Dim Sums sind hausgemacht und keine Standard-Tiefkühlware aus dem Asia-Store wie man sie sonst oft bekommt. Absolutes Highlight ist die Peking-Ente. Knusprig, saftig, original zubereitet und gewürzt sowie professionell am Tisch tranchiert ohne das man aufwändig vorbestellen musste. Wir hatten Peking-Enten-Profis dabei uns sie waren begesitert. In dem Lokal war es zwar recht laut, aber auch das macht das Flair dieser Location aus. Wir werden dort 100% öfter vorbei schauen!

Ich bin eigentlich nicht so ein Fan von chinesischem Essen bin der Einladung in das Restraurant trotzdem gefolgt. Ich war positiv überrascht, ordernlicher Wein, sehr leckeres Essen und auch schnelelr Service. Es war wirklich überrascht und werde wieder hingehen!

Wir besuchen das Restaurant öfter und haben unsere Erfahrung mit einem Kochkurs der Extraklasse gekrönt. Das Essen ist einfach erstklassig und die Pekingente ist sensationell. Es handelt sich um ein Familien geführtes Restaurant mit sehr kompetenten und freundlichen Mitarbeitern. Ich besuche das Restaurant in regelmäßigen Abständen und kann die Dim Sum sowie die Ente wärmstens empfehlen.

Mit der Verkleinerung des Restaurants hat sich die Qualität des Essens auch verkleinert. Es tut mir auch leid, diese Zeilen schreiben zu müssen aber was Zuviel ist, ist Zuviel! NOGO! Ich ging seit vielen Jahren sehr sehr gerne hin, bis gestern Abend - 24.12.! - Der absolute Horror! 1.) Gang - Wan Tan Suppe NULL Geschmack, es war nur heißes Wasser mit einem Pak Choi Blatt drin. Nur die Wan Tan hatten Geschmack. Süßlich! 2.) Gang - Dim Sum Ich fragte extra wegen der Menge. Es hieß 6 Stücke, kleiner als Tischtennisball, „das schaffen Sie schon“. Was kam? 2 x Tischtennis Bälle - Süßlich! 2 x Etwas größer als Tischtennis Bälle - Geschmack - OK! 2 x Tennisbälle - Geschmacklose undefinierbare Teigklumpen mit etwas geschmackloser Pilzfüllung? Geschmack- NULL! 3.) Gang - 31 - gebratene Rindfleisch mit Gemüse. Auf Empfehlung, da ich unbedingt scharf haben wollte! Was kam? Ich bestand auf EXTRA SCHARF OHNE SÜSS und bekam EXTRA SÜSS! Sodass mir der Gaumen fast klebte. Die Bedingung sagte, sie lässt es NEU machen! Was kam? Sie ging in die Küche, und kam Sekunden später mit dem selben Teller wieder. Die EXTRA SCHARFE Soße drüber gegossen. Das war also NEU machen lassen! Geschmacklich EXTRA SÜSS! Also alles wieder zurück! Chef kam persönlich vorbei und fragte, ob ER mir die 32 empfohlen darf. Ich bestand auf EXTRA SCHARF! OHNE ZUCKER! OHNE HONIG! OHNE SONSTIGEM ZUCKER MÜLL! und bekam EXTRA SÜSS! Sodass mir der Gaumen fast klebte. Dieser Ausflug am Heiligabend hat mich zwar € 50,- gekostet aber dem Restaurant einen langjährigen Kunden, der öfters auch geschäftlich hin ging.

Dadurch, dass der Oeder Weg fast nur noch von Fahrrädern befahren wird, macht das draußen sitzen jetzt mehr Spaß. Bestellung erfolgt hier per Tablett ebenso kann man die Rechnung per Tablett bestellen. Die Bedienung ist einfach, damit kommt jeder klar. Service Mitarbeiter sind schnell und freundlich. Das Essen sehr lecker.

Die Dim Sum hier sind einfach die besten und auch die anderen Gerichte überzeugen uns. Der gemischte Salat hat eine ausgezeichnete Marinade. Der Schweinebauch war super knusprig.

Wir waren mit 4 Personen erstmal hier, weil wir die "Beste Peking-Ente der Stadt" genießen wollten. Das hat auch super funktioniert, mit einem überaus freundlichen Service und nicht zuletzt durch den versierten Restaurantchef, der die Ente gekonnt am Tisch zerlegt hat. Was aber nicht gefallen hat ist, dass das Ambiente nicht zu einem längeren verweilen einlädt und man nach diesem Restaurantbesuch selber riecht, wie eine frittierte Frühlingsrolle. Von daher war unser Besuch einmalig- Schade !!

Super Vorspeisen. Tolle Qualität. Die Peking Ente war ein 100%. Sehr netter Chef und wirklich tolles Essen. Jederzeit wieder.

Ich bin Liebhaber von Dim Sum und ich habe viel schon über das Lokal gelesen. Das machte mich neugierig. Zufällig hatte ich um die Ecke zu tun und ich hatte noch nichts gegessen. Die Einrichtung ist sehr schlicht. Und ich hatte wohl Glück, dass ich ohne Reservierung einen Tisch bekommen habe. Aber der Laden ist nicht sehr groß. Da ich sowieso immer dasselbe bestelle (bei jedem China-Restaurant, das Dim Sum anbietet), habe ich auch dieses Mal eine Wan-Tan-Suppe, Har Gao (Garnelen in Reismehrteig) und Shao Mai (Hackfleisch in Teigtaschen) bestellt. Es kam mir sehr entgegen, dass es 2 x Har Gao, 2 x Shao Mai plus 2 x „Dampfnudeln mit geröstetem Schweinefleisch“ gab. Sie nannte sich Bentobox (totaler Quatsch - da es japanisch ist und alles zusammen in einem Korb kommt und wie in einer Bentobox alles getrennt ist). Und als ich dann noch gelesen habe, dass es gegrillten Schweinebauch gab, dachte ich mir: bestellst du es ruhig, dann hast du morgen etwas für das Büro. Etwas enttäuschend: man muss die Beilagen extra bestellen und extra bezahlen. Die Bestellung erfolgt auf einem iPad, das aber gut klappt. Alternativ kann man auch das eigene Smartphone benutzen. Zunächst kam die Suppe. Sie sind toll gewickelt und auch tolles asiatisches Gemüse: so wie es sein muss. Ich bin nun ein Suppenkasper: meine Brühe war es nicht - es fehlte der letzte Pfiff. Außerdem war etwas in der Fleischfüllung, das ich persönlich nicht mochte. Nächste Enttäuschung: der gegrillte Schweinebauch: er wurde wohl wieder in der Friteuse heiß gemacht. Schmeckte mir daher nicht. Abgesehen davon, dass die Portionsgröße für den Preis auf einen kleinen Kuchenteller passte. Ich war enttäuscht. Dann kam eben die „Bentobox“: die Teile sahen perfekt aus! Das meine ich ernst. So perfekt, dass ich bei den Dampfnudeln dachte, dass sie vom Go Asia aus der TK kommen könnten. Sie betonen auf ihrer Speisekarte allerdings, dass alles mit Liebe handgemacht sei. Bei den Har Gao hat man das auch rausgeschmeckt: Der Teig war wohl nicht so dünn ausgerollt worden, wie es in einer Fabrik gemacht worden wäre, aber auch da: im Teig war etwas drin, was ich nicht mochte. Die Füllung war gut. Bei Shao Mai: sieht aus wie hausgemacht aus der Tiefkühltruhe aber unterscheidet sich nicht von der Qualität aus einem Asia Supermarkt. Tut mir echt leid, aber da bleibe ich lieber im Bahnhofsviertel.

Schon seit Jahren kommen wir immer wieder zum Restaurant Yung, auch wenn bereits zwei Umzüge gab. Immer wieder lieben wir die frische und knusprige Peking Ente mit den Pfannkuchen, aber auch das leckere Dim Sum. Nach einer längeren Corona Pause waren wir heute endlich wieder einmal hier und es war wie immer köstlich. Auch die Bedienung ist freundlich. Wir kommen bestimmt bald wieder und waren noch nie enttäuscht.

Für mich das beste China Restaurant in Frankfurt. Immer wieder sehr lecker und tolle Gerichte. Macht weiter so.

Auch wenn wie immer die Entscheidung nicht leicht fiel, diesmal wurden es die obligatorischen Dim Sum, Ente Kung Pao und zum ersten Mal die geschmorte Haxe. Alles war wie gewohnt top Qualität und super lecker, aber von der Haxe waren wir extrem begeistert. Sie war unglaublich zart und kam in einer sehr schmackhaften Sauce. In den 30 Jahre Stammkundschaft wurden wir noch nie enttäuscht und wir freuen uns schon auf´s nächste Mal. Auch wenn der Weg inzwischen etwas weiter ist... es lohnt sich!

Best for people who would like a nice and spacious environment to eat Chinese cuisine. China Restaurant Yung in Frankfurt has comfortable seat and creative Chinese cuisines that would surprise you. I am particularly impressed by their home-made dim sum and desserts, and Cantonese style Roasted Pork Belly. Of course, the Peking Duck is also my all-time-favorite. Loved how the staff slice the duck in front of us, and put them on the plate really nicely. The presentation made this dish worth a 5 out of 5 stars. Taste was extremely good too. Their Hoisin sauce for people to wrap it with the duck, cucumber and green onion.
