Last time I was there the boss was very rude and the staff were not very good either. If I could I would not give it a star.

Absolutely top-notch! Rustic ambiance (a bit like an old sports club), I love that. The staff are super friendly. Anyone who thinks the quality drops just because it's a large restaurant is wrong. Absolutely delicious schnitzel, fries, and other things. There were four of us and everyone was very happy. The prices are absolutely fair and it's super rare to find something like this anymore; it deserves to be supported. You just have to try it at least once. We will definitely be going back. Kudos to the chef, delicious, super fast, the sauces were amazing, the service was super attentive and friendly, we'd be happy to come back anytime. Great team.

I was there for the first time today, the seating is as comfortable as it used to be. Just a good old schnitzel house, and the prices are more than fair.

Cozy outdoor area. Unfortunately, the food isn't recommended; everything seems to be done quickly rather than with quality. Unfortunately, the schnitzel was cooked in a deep fryer and tasted like oil. The entire interior smells extremely of grease, worse than a chip shop. A real shame.

Today, on a family recommendation, I ate there for the first time. I was really looking forward to it, but unfortunately, I was quite disappointed. The schnitzel is deep-fried, and as soon as you put a piece in your mouth, you can't taste anything but oil. When you cut into the schnitzel, the fat flows out... It wasn't that great. Towards the end, we ordered cocktails. They weren't tasty at all. My Pina Colada also had strawberry syrup in it. I have no idea what that was doing there, but it wasn't tasty. Also, the waiter smelled quite strongly of alcohol, so he kept standing at the other end of the table. He was at the tables next to us anyway. Unfortunately, it was my first and last visit.

XXL or smaller portions (S, M, L, etc.). Everything is delicious. Not haute cuisine, but good. The price-performance ratio is okay. The ambiance is rather simple and often quite loud, both inside and out.

In summer, it's lovely to sit outside in the garden. The portions are generous, but I like the sangria the most.

We haven't been there in a long time (about 10 years), but the food and service are still top-notch. We all had the small portions, but even that was barely manageable! We'd love to come back.

I was there recently with a friend, and the waitress understood that we wanted two schnapps, even though we hadn't ordered them and had even mentioned it. Nevertheless, the schnapps were still charged, which we unfortunately only noticed afterward. We had a €10 tip on a bill of €39, and yet neither the waitress nor the man behind the counter were honest enough to not charge us for the schnapps we didn't order, even though both of them noticed. I find that outrageous, especially when you're so polite and leave a €10 tip. Well, you probably thought we wouldn't notice... do you really need that? I think that's absolutely unfair of you. We won't be coming back, and we hope the schnapps on our bill tasted good. Apart from that, the food wasn't particularly good and was relatively expensive. We won't miss this place.

A visit is highly recommended. They offer dishes in different sizes, depending on your hunger. For example, I couldn't finish my XXL Bolognese schnitzel with fries, so I'm already looking forward to my leftovers tomorrow. The staff is very friendly and happy to answer any questions about the dishes. We'll definitely be back.

The hunter's pan and Frankfurt schnitzel were a real treat - perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The apple wine was a pleasant surprise - refreshing, with a bright and authentic taste. The dessert - a pancake with Leibniz biscuits - unfortunately left a feeling of incompleteness, something was missing. Overall, the cuisine was at a high level, but the dessert let us down a little. The atmosphere was captivating - cozy, warm and inviting. We would be happy to come again!

The Jägerpfanne (hunter's pan) and the Frankfurter Schnitzel were an absolute delight – perfectly seasoned and beautifully prepared. The apple wine was absolutely delicious, beautifully refreshing and authentic. However, the dessert, the pancake with Leibniz biscuits, was missing that certain something. Overall, the meal was excellent, but the dessert didn't quite live up to its reputation. The ambiance was wonderful – cozy, charming, and simply a place where you feel at home. We'd love to come back!

The restaurant is located a little outside, but is easy to reach by car. There are plenty of parking spaces on site. Overall, the dining room is designed quite simply. The focus is on good food and large portions at reasonable prices…. and the chestnut team does that very well. If you want to eat simply but well and cheaply, you're in good hands here.

We had booked for Sunday evening at 8pm. We asked for a beer at 9 p.m., but they didn't want to bring it to us because it was supposedly too late. At 8:30 p.m., without the slightest respect for us, they put chairs on the tables, kicked up dust, and I brought oxygen. They made us all stand up to pay. A disgrace for a table for 10 people. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT AND I WILL NEVER COME AGAIN.

Classic XXL restaurant. The selection of dishes is relatively large but the taste didn't blow me away. The service is courteous and attentive. What I particularly liked is that you can order cider in 4 and 8 liter Bembel. It tastes much better that way

Great food, good value for money, quick service and nice service. The schnitzels are great and freshly breaded. Huge portions! In summer you can sit outside at rustic tables and benches. Since the chestnut tree is located in the middle of an allotment garden colony, it is nice and quiet there. Quite unpleasant acoustics inside due to the large open space, but since it's the clubhouse, nothing else is to be expected. Parking can be challenging on a weekend day in summer when the weather is good as the allotments are busy then.

The quality of all the food was consistently poor, the fries were totally subdued, the rice was raw, the meat was hard schnitzel from the hairdresser. It's a shame it used to be much better. I would recommend focusing more on quality here

Wir waren schon sehr oft in diesem Restaurant, und als der Vorbesitzer dieses noch betrieben hat, war es einfach eine Freude dort essen zu gehen. Angenehme Preise, Riesenportionen, und dazu auch noch tolle Qualität. Da fühlt man sich als Gast wirklich König. Nach dem Eigentümerwechsel hat sich alles geändert. Freundlichkeit und ein nettes Gespräch findet nicht statt. Das Schnitzel sehr viel dicker, was kein Problem ist. Wenn man das allerdings in der Pfanne so lange brät, dass das arme Tier zum zweiten Mal gestorben ist, ist das Schnitzel trocken und Nicht zu genießen. Wir hatten uns Essen mit nach Hause genommen und dieses zu 80 % direkt in den Biomüll gepackt. Die Bratkartoffeln waren ohne Speck und ohne Zwiebeln (früher waren die Bratkartoffeln ein Highlight), heute, wie gesagt, reine Bratkartoffeln und ungewürzt. Dafür aber auch bis zur Unendlichkeit gebraten. Leider war das abgeholte Essen genauso wie das vor Ort gegessene Essen. Das entsprechende Feedback über unsere Enttäuschung hat niemanden interessiert. Ja, so kann man Stammgäste verlieren. Wir gehen dann sicherlich dort nicht mehr essen. XXL Schnitzel alleine reicht nicht, wenn es nicht schmeckt.

Unfortunately, since the ownership changed, the food is no longer what it used to be. The schnitzel was fried so dead that the poor animal probably died twice. Dry and not edible. The fried potatoes without onions and without bacon, like it used to be. The fried potatoes used to be a highlight, but now they are just tasteless, without seasoning and carelessly fried to death in the pan. Nobody cares about the feedback to the owner. We used to be regulars, but we don't come anymore. We've tested it twice now and both times it didn't taste good. Too bad, where is the old owner. If anyone knows this, let us know.

Unfortunately I can't recommend it to anyone. We got our starter after 1.5 hours. After another 20 minutes our main courses. So we waited about 2 hours for our food. A salad that was specially ordered didn't come at all. This one was completely forgotten. The burger we ordered was raw! Then this: The schnitzel came out of the deep fryer and was dry and extremely hard. The sauce is ready from the bucket. The canned mushrooms. The fries were ok. The waiter who served us was positive. Drinks went quickly, he was very friendly and as soon as he had something for us he brought it quickly. Therefore more stars for the service. It was extremely loud. This is probably due to the gym charm. Large open space with dense table arrangement. I have rarely seen a restaurant where it was as unbearably loud as it was here. Perhaps stylish room dividers would help a bit here. We definitely won't be coming back. All in all, this is not worth a second visit. Neither the quality of the food nor the ambience.

A nice restaurant. The interior is neatly arranged and nicely decorated. The toilets are not quite as cool as in other XXL restaurants. I had the spinach and mozzarella schnitzel, simply called “schnitzel” on the menu. It should be over baked. Unfortunately that didn't work due to technical problems. It wouldn't be a problem if you let me know. Unfortunately that didn't happen and I got a schnitzel with spinach and a(!) slice of mozzarella. Stunningly bad. In addition, half a liter is 0.4 in size here. Pretty bad. Addendum: starter for 15 euros, and waited 1 hour for dessert.

Tasteless food, large pork chop but thin and half of it has to be breaded, sauce is thick and tasteless, probably the cheapest in the bag, ketchup is also the cheapest, for this kind of money it's better to go for a kebab or eat somewhere else, less but good and tasty, for this set PLN 18 It's not worth paying a euro for a pair of fries and a pork chop covered in breadcrumbs

Ist halt ein XXL-Restaurant (und bietet auch normale Portionen an), mit kulinarischen Offenbarungen darf man hier nicht rechnen, aber mit einem ordentlichen Schnitzel. Biergarten ist gemütlich, drinnen sieht’s etwas aus als wär die Zeit stehen geblieben. Am liebsten sitz ich hier verkatert draußen im Sommer und zieh mir das Jägerschnitzel rein. Prost!

Die Portionen sind zwar groß, aber die Qualität des Hamburgers war an der Grenze des Essbaren. Auch mussten wir die ganze Zeit mit Kleinkindgeschrei verbringen, also alles andere als gemütliches Ambiente, eher Quälerei. Sorry, aber ein Mal und nie wieder.
