Buchscheer is really 👍. Had an apple wine tasting there with entertaining information and stuff from all over Europe, great! Expert support from the boss! Afterwards, some good Frankfurt cuisine, hhmm delicious. Thanks for the lovely afternoon!
The food itself was okay, but the price-performance ratio was completely unjustified. The service was really bad; after we got our food, we weren't asked once if we wanted something else to drink. My drink, which I ordered at the beginning, simply didn't arrive, and the waitress was completely unfriendly and gave us strange looks. There are definitely better places.
That was a wonderful, culinary-exciting evening in the Frankfurt embassy.
In the anniversary year, the team at the restaurant, located in the Gutleutviertel directly on the Main, has three four-course menus on offer: the classic version for €99, a fish-heavy anniversary menu and a vegan alternative, both for €96. I chose the classic.
The sommelier who sold us the wine accompaniment with great passion and excellent expertise deserves special praise: a white Burgundy from Winning from Deidesheim and the ÀN/2 from Ànima Negra from Mallorca.
The starter was grass-fed veal tartare with purple potato, parmesan and fermented garlic. A great taste experience to start with, also a pleasure for the eyes! As an intermediate course, fried halibut was served with cucumber, beurre blanc and herring caviar. A very nice combination with perfectly cooked fish as the centerpiece. But there was also another highlight, namely iced beurre blanc: a poem!
We continued with the main course: two types of black feather chicken with nut butter, pea puree and herb mushrooms. There was also a wonderful side dish: esterhazy layered slices, not sweet of course, but savory. Unfortunately I forgot to ask what was processed there.
As a finale, a crême brûlée with honey, rosemary and plum sorbet. Rum was definitely there too!
Writing it down makes you want more! An absolute recommendation!
Been here multiple times already, my favorite flavor is the second one on the second row in the menu, the fried chicken is chewy and you can add rice cakes with an additional 3 euros.
And you can watch a bunch a K-pop songs too.
I reallly really like going here👍
I didn’t have the time to come here before, but I wish I had made time earlier! The atmosphere is very cozy, the staff is super friendly, and the food is unique and delicious. It was a great experience—I’ll definitely be back soon!
I love the schnitzels. But the other dishes are also highly recommended. The menu is clear and the ingredients are fresh.
There are countless caricatures hanging on the walls and two huge bobble dog heads made especially for the restaurant hanging on the wall above the terrace, where you can sit outside under the trees.
Children can borrow sidewalk chalk and decorate the sidewalk in full view of their parents.
The waitress is extremely attentive and does her work with a pleasant sense of humor that corresponds to the caricatures already mentioned.
In every respect a place where you like to stay. An absolute asset to the district
Unfortunately the restaurant is closed and is being rented out due to family reasons. We were there today and got the information from the new owners. A new sushi shop is opening. It's a shame 🥹
Aussenambiente aufgrund der direkten Strassen(bahn)lage nicht sehr verlockend, Innen sieht es ganz nett aus.
Bedienung sehr freundlich.
Essen eher durchschnittliches „Convenience-Food“ zu eher überdurchschnittlichen Preisen - zumindest was das Schnitzel angeht.
This was my first time at Lohrberg.
A very nice place, great for a walk, great views, and the weather was great too.
Also great for families with children, as there's a nice playground.
And the Lohrberg wine is delicious.😄
