Great location above the rooftops of Frankfurt. The service could be a little faster, you had to wait a little longer for the drinks. Food was delicious. All highly recommended. We'd love to come back.

Location is good. Prices are simply too expensive.

Amazing place with great views and Sullivan was very professional… however it’s a place with an adult pool and kids pool and the adult area was FILLED WITH KIDS! At least 8 kids playing, jumping, screaming and splashing… not enjoyable if you are looking for a chill and relaxed place. The problem is with management that did not ask the parents to please keep their kids in the kids section and leave the rest for adults. Too bad because the place is beautiful and I would recommend if they were strict about kids policy since they are bothering the adult guest… (I am not posting a picture of the pool full of kids due to their privacy)

Nice place to come on the hot day. Entrance is 5 euro in cash, but you might have to wait in a line. Atmosphere is great, you can wet your feet in a pool. Service is fine, you might get to wait for staff though. Prices are very high, aperol is 10,50! And food is expensive as well, although the quality is very so so. Fries were great, but burger and baguette not really good. You can get a bottle of Riesling for 35 euros.

Nice atmosphere but bad service. After 20 minutes someone came for the first time and every time you wanted another drink or food you had to run after the waitress and wait forever. And strange Turkish music was playing...

The visit was disappointing. The reality did not correspond to the pictures on the website – downright catfishing. The food was mediocre, the service inattentive. The cutlery was dirty and bent. Blankets were not brought despite asking, which made my friends sick. Children have no place there and the music boxes should also be replaced. Not worth the hype, so not a recommendation.

Centrally located on the roof above the 5th floor. A children's and an adult pool, loungers on the sand and relaxing background music. There is a good beach feeling and you have a great view of the financial district. I can recommend it to everyone

It was my first time there...the view of the skyline was positive...what I noticed negatively was the overwhelmed and unfriendly reception and service...the drinks menu was only available as a QR code (what do I do if I don't have a smartphone with me have..?) Drink requests are not taken into account....got a place in the middle of the sun.at 30°c..there aren't umbrellas everywhere...at an entrance fee of 5€...I expect more.... .

Reservation, food and service were very good - a reason to come back... For customers who have a minimum consumption of 20 euros, my expectation was that the 5 euros entry fee would be credited. Toilet can be improved. The great view of Frankfurt is unfortunately slightly limited by the layout of the building.

Great location above the roofs of the city. A hot summer day is easy to endure here. Unfortunately, the service leaves a little to be desired. We had 2 consecutive table reservations and despite there being a lot available, we were seated in the blazing sun with 2 children. An exchange was not possible. Then we tried to help ourselves and asked for one of the umbrellas, which was finally opened at some point but was broken so that it had to be closed again an hour later due to a bit of wind. We had to wait easily 20 minutes for a waitress to take our drink order and ask several times ourselves. So there is still potential for improvement here. The food is very tasty, the price is okay, the drinks/cocktails are good but some are overpriced.

Dirty daybed The staff couldn't get the parasols open, then they said many of them were broken. But the sun was very strong. Cocktail requests could not be changed as they were already mixed drinks. Relaxing at the “pool” wasn’t possible either because there were kids (although there was also a children’s play area) But water bombs and other loud games were playing in the pool and you could hardly have a conversation. Unfortunately we do not recommend it.

Cool idea to build a city beach on top of a parking garage. The beach is also cool and invites you to relax.

It's a really nice location and feels very much like a vacation. It's a shame that the 5 euro entrance fee per person also applies when booking a table. apply, EVEN THOUGH there is a minimum consumption of 25 euros per person. gives. The food was delicious. In my opinion, my burger was a bit thinly topped and therefore not that filling. Our waitress was friendly, but we had to actively search and ask a few times in order to be able to order something again. All in all a nice atmosphere, delicious food with a view over Frankfurt

Was there for the first time yesterday. You can park in the parking garage directly on the upper floor, in front of the entrance. We drove to Konsti and were there after a 5-minute walk. Service 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 The staff was super friendly and attentive. Food was OK as expected. Ambiance was good. Kind of loud and restless. At a later hour, I would have liked louder music. It only ran in the background.

The pool is only 30 cm deep! You can't build pyramids. I have a suspicion that you pay twice for what you drink, the wait staff doesn't seem to comply and you book too much... You wait 1 hour for this Cola wheatwheat.

Negative: Service - Were there in the afternoon with a larger group. No one cared for over 30 minutes even though virtually all the drinks were empty. Then some wanted to pay, some wanted to stay. There were discussions at first. Bottled beer over €6. The wheat is €1.20 cheaper but also from the bottle. Why such a difference? Food was good. The only thing I would have liked with the burger was more fries

You can do it once and that's enough. Placing and receiving orders takes quite a long time and is also quite expensive.

We were there on a Friday evening for something to eat. The waiters were super nice. However, I cannot recommend the food. We both had a burger that just didn't taste good (a lot of mustard, hardly any meat and salad) - very dry. You can only get beer from the bottle and the prices for drinks are generally very high. But the atmosphere is really nice. Conclusion: It's okay to go there for a drink - but you shouldn't eat there.

Unfortunately I can't say anything about it except that we paid 20 euros entry fee when we were shown to the table it started to rain so we had to leave after waiting 10 minutes because all the tables were cleared and we didn't get anything. We didn't even get the entrance fee back the cash register had already been put away, nice location but reserved 6-

If you want to experience something special in Frankfurt, then go ahead. Of course it depends very much on the weather. The main pool is not particularly deep, so swimming in it is not possible. You should probably book a table in advance, especially if you are traveling with a group. We got a non-alcoholic cocktail (for €12) even though it wasn't on the menu. The staff is very nice there.

It’s a very nice place to visit during summers. Sadly they didn’t have chilled beer so was a let down for me. Apart from that it’s definitely worth a visit.

Nice place, nice idea.. but I don't know why but the result is tacky, maybe it's the people who make it so.. there's no more joy and desire to live.. it's all about taking selfies and looking around .. only alcohol is left to fill the void in our lives, people wake up please! And still crazy prices, considering you already pay for the entrance..

Everything is great, but the toilets are really disgusting! That's a total shame because we really like the rest.

The location on the roof of a parking garage with 2 pools and white sand and the backdrop is unique. The selection of drinks is also great, from non-alcoholic to hard drinks, everything is included. Service staff is super nice, friendly.

It started with us having to pay €5 entry fee... we were allocated a table that hadn't yet been reserved. Then we ordered the drinks which were on the menu as mint spritzers. However, there was no trace of mint or fizz in the drink. But it was very expensive. After we had emptied our drinks, no one asked us if we wanted to order anything new and when we paid we didn't say thank you but just said "okay, bye". The only positive is the outlook. Too bad!

We celebrated our daughter's birthday on August 11th, 2024. The forecast for the day was 30 degrees, so we reserved a daybed. It all worked out great. The club opened at 12 p.m. and we were one of the first there. So we were able to experience the pool cleaning; my son had already taken out a few things that were probably indicative of a hot evening. There was also a lot of sweeping and cleaning going on; this could easily have been done before the opening. My kids also remembered gadgets for the pool from last year, but unfortunately there weren't any of them left this year. When we asked, we were told that everything was destroyed at the party on Saturday and had to be reordered from the big A. The service and food were great, we had the Argentina baguette and fries. Last year they even offered ice cream, but there's currently nothing on the menu. Especially when kids come, ice cream is always possible. In general you have to say that the club is getting old. The wood is no longer beautiful, is lifting in some places, is broken (my son caught a splinter) Of the three women's toilets, only one could be locked and the faucet was completely loose. Cleanliness, well… In general we like the ambience, but given the amount of money you're spending there and the current condition, we're thinking about going there again.

The vibe was definitely interesting for pride weekend. The layout was fun and engaging with great music and easy ordering of drinks. Only downside was closing at 2200.

We were at City Beach at 2 p.m. during the week. A very relaxed rooftop bar in the center of Frankfurt. Good service and good drinks. Only recommended.

Wow, the view is magnificent. I would normally give the entire location 5 stars. The service is friendly and quick, the ambience is excellent. The food even better than expected. What I don't like, or what really bothered me, is that you have to pay extra to go to the toilet. There is an entry fee for the rooftop bar and there is a note on the homepage about the minimum consumption per table. If the toilets were particularly clean or hygiene products were offered, you might understand why a toilet attendant would be placed in front of them. But nonetheless we really liked it.

Great location, poor staff, service catastrophe! Incompetence is writ large at City Beach

Mediocre drinks, service not attentive. We have asked Service to offer them to us as soon as places are available and to move us along. Service did not respond to this and they did not respond to minimal requests for drink changes. No additional bread was brought to the meal.

Fantastic ambience. Unfortunately the service is substandard to non-existent. Nobody came on their own, we had to look for the waitress several times and ask them to come. The background music was like the old days in department stores and elevators. Doesn't fit with the really great atmosphere.

The place is ideal for sunbathing or cooling off. The cocktails are good and the prices are quite affordable. Regarding food, the menu doesn't offer much but their Caesar salads are very good. The negative point is that it's not easy to find because it's a bit hidden. The other negative point is that the waiters/waitresses are a little slow to come to you. You just have to get up and go to the bar to signal that you want to consume.

Very nice "place to be" after work for a bier and good company. The atmosphere is great, and the crew are very friendly providing professional service.

The drinks are good and the food is nice. The service is really good. But the place itself is overhyped. First you have to pass through the piss smelling lifts and then pay 5 to 8€ for entry. Ambience is nice and the waiters are fast. But if you don’t tip then be ready to bid bye to an unhappy waiter 😅 . Otherwise, with okay music and expensive drinks, it is a good place to chill. 🍻

Nice view, prices a bit expensive (5.5€ redbull). We've been here for 7 minutes and the waiter has already asked twice what we want to eat and now said: "I'll be back in 5 minutes, if you don't order anything you'll be thrown out and I've paid €8 entry per person for free.

This afternoon around 3 p.m. I visited Citybeach with my friend from Stade and her husband to show them the city with its impressive skyline and to chill out here. We succeeded wonderfully thanks to the extremely polite and attentive service from - I think his name was - Mustafa(?) and his equally friendly colleague on duty. The music was very relaxing, so my friend, who suffers from Parkinson's disease, spontaneously moved to the beat of the music and clearly enjoyed his stay. Big compliments to the Citybeach team and please keep it up!

You have to pay €5 just for entry! The location and signs of the place are quite shady.

The vibe is nice and the entrance was free. We wanted to have lunch, but the service was not coming and the food options were limited. We expected something else so we decided to leave the place! Also people are swimming and walking in bikinis next to the tables so you should consider this. I would go back there but only to swim, vibe, drink something - maybe not to JUST have lunch.

I reserved a table for two a few days in advance and received a table on the selected day and time without waiting. The staff was very accommodating! The food selection is limited, but we enjoyed the food very much. The ambience was good, but we would have liked it a little better by the pool or on the loungers. Maybe next time then.

Service was very bad and unfriendly even though we had a turnover of over €500. We had to wait a long time for our drinks and they kept forgetting. Nobody came and asked if we wanted anything else.

It's okay. Unfortunately we waited 45 minutes for a seat for two people. The Virgin Mojito was too sweet and with too much mint. There are no food/drink menus. You should already have that there if you charge €5 entry. The non-alcoholic cocktail selection is very meager and, at just under €12, far too expensive. We won't come here again.

Service below average. I would give 0 stars. You have to ask 10 people before you find someone responsible. Our booked seat category was also ignored because it was supposedly overbooked. There's a lot going wrong here, and the location can't make up for it...

I celebrated my 50th birthday there in the exclusive (covered) lounge area. The service was unique, the event organizer took great care of every detail and everything worked like a charm. (Technology, decoration, process, service, etc.) it was a perfect evening and my guests were more than thrilled. The choice of food for larger groups is a little limited, but what was served was more than plentiful and very tasty.

The food was good, the drinks too. The atmosphere above the rooftops of Frankfurt is great. The “pool” is really just for cooling off (your feet) or as a paddling pool for the kids. The service is sometimes really good, but sometimes it's also "not so good" - it depends on which person is responsible for the relevant area or which person takes over the next shift.

We were at City Beach for the first time. Since it fills up quickly on the weekends, we booked online in good time. You can really sit here with a view of the skyline and small pools. The service staff were overwhelmed by the workload (which is certainly always very high on weekends). Our food took forever and tables that arrived after us had already received their orders. Since there was a communication problem with our order, we asked again (it can happen and it's really not an issue). The blame was immediately dismissed and placed on the customer. The problem was found and a meal was reordered. After asking when we could expect food, we were given a schnapps as an apology. After more than 2 hours, the (one) ordered meal arrived, but the rest was still a long time coming. We canceled the meal and unfortunately things didn't go quite smoothly here either. An apology was made and the event was postponed until the full public viewing evening. You pay €5 for entry and minimum consumption... that's quite a statement. The toilets were okay. Clean, but one cabin door couldn't be locked. And the main door to the anteroom was only hanging on a hinge.

Unfortunately we waited an hour until our order came. Then the food actually came before the drinks. Then another 10 minutes passed until the drinks. Service is totally disorganized. One takes orders, the other just brings drinks and in the end it felt like half of them had nothing to do and the other half were stressed. Every time we wanted to order, we first had to call the “right” waiter…. Second round of drinks same disaster. A portion of fries was then forgotten. Prices are really absolutely overpriced, since you already enter and pay the minimum consumption anyway. Taste: Food (fries and starter platter) was ok, but you can't go wrong, although the olive oil in the hummus was forgotten on the second round. A complaint was then made accordingly and corrected but still. 50% of the girls (there were 15 of us) did NOT like the drinks. All Spritz drinks are too sweet due to the syrup and too sour. I have no idea, I've never had such a bad Hugo before. In the end we only ordered coke and shandy from the bottle. My recommendation: - If necessary, let bartenders at drinks schools try them out before they go out - Service concept urgently needs to be changed. So we don't come for that anymore. It's a real shame given the mega location!

Restaurant Review: Needs Improvement in Service The vibe at the restaurant was quite good, and I appreciated the ambiance. However, the €5 entrance fee doesn’t make much sense, especially considering they also have a minimum spend. While this wouldn’t necessarily deter me from returning, the service was a major disappointment. I ordered food and a drink, which took an astonishing 1.5 hours to arrive. To make matters worse, my group, who ordered at the same time, received their orders well before me and I ended up eating alone. When my food finally did arrive, it was cold. The service person rudely informed me that it would take the same amount of time to prepare a fresh order again, if I needed a hot dish. The server’s attitude was neglectful and dismissive. I had to escalate the issue to the manager to get any resolution. To top it off, the card machine didn’t work at the end of our meal. The same server laughed and she said- I was having a bad day and took no responsibility for the poor service, even expressing pride in such a lackluster performance. The restaurant needs significant improvement in service quality and should consider hiring more professional and courteous staff.

Good place to visit if it's sunny to grab a drink and sit with your feet in the sand or pool or in the evening to get a view of the Frankfurt skyline. You're not able to go to the bar to order and you pay to get in. Drinks are on the expensive side.

I have to say absolute disaster. We got in line at 7 p.m. because we wanted to watch the game between Germany and Denmark. It was pretty full and well attended, we knew that it wouldn't be a problem to wait. When we finally got in after about an hour, we were told that the minimum consumption at the tables was €20 per person and that was completely fine. But the waitress was an absolute disaster. Nobody is responsible for taking orders. It feels like there's one waiter for 15 tables, and he takes forever because he's just sleeping. Then it's time to eat all at once. Can't be taken in right now because they can't keep up with the order. But people were still being let in because the five euro entrance fee was tasty. I mean, of course you can meet the minimum consumption through drinks, but that wasn't an option for us because we wanted to eat! Absolute chaos, then there was friction between each other with the waiters, which you notice. The atmosphere just seemed very hectic and tense. One or two employees were quite friendly and accommodating and let us pay earlier because there was a thunderstorm so we didn't have to meet the €20 minimum. I've been here several times and I know it's a nice location. I would definitely avoid it at big events because you just end up queuing for a long time for nothing. Especially if rain or thunderstorms are forecast, I wouldn't take the risk. There would be apologies every now and then, but I can't buy anything from that because the entrance fee has been paid for. The drink was paid for and unfortunately the mood was down!

Terrible service- total miss of opportunity. They need to employ more people. We ordered food and drinks, they came partially correct, tried to chase the waiter more than 1hr. No one came. The food didn’t come

The beach club is very neglected. The toilets are totally run down. The staff was friendly but not particularly helpful and, above all, overwhelmed. There was no one there to organize the staff so that the service was calm. As guests, we had to search several times for contact persons. We wouldn't visit the beach club again.

The staff at the beach bar are really excellent. They are very friendly and try to accommodate all requests. The food was typical of a beach bar - I had a salad and thought it was delicious. The drinks were also good. Unfortunately the ambience leaves a lot to be desired. Relaxing or finding a sense of calm is almost impossible. Children are running around everywhere, you get wet and splashes of water end up in your drink. The volume is unbearable because of all the children, so you can't even enjoy the music. It's a shame, there could be a lot of improvement.
