Review for Meyer’s Restaurant in Frankfurt: Last Saturday I was in Frankfurt with my friends and we spontaneously decided to visit Meyer's Restaurant - we didn't have a reservation. Since it was a sunny day, we initially wanted to sit outside as there were still seats available. Unfortunately, we received an unfriendly welcome and the waiter told us without further explanation that we should look for a seat inside. Once inside we were greeted warmly by another waiter. He offered us free bread and brought us the menu card. Since we weren't very hungry, we decided to just order dessert. However, our impression worsened when another waiter, who served us afterwards, simply took the bread from the table without saying a word. This rude and arrogant manner made us feel uncomfortable. In addition, we found the prices to be extremely overpriced. Given the very mixed service and high prices, the overall experience was disappointing. Based on our experience, we would unfortunately not recommend Meyer’s Restaurant.

Wir waren heute gegen 15h vor Ort. 2 Frauen, 2 Säuglinge im Kinderwagen. Das Wetter war schön und wir hatten uns gefreut auf ein gutes, spätes Mittagessen draußen. Es war draußen nur halb voll. Nachdem wir den Kellner fragten,ob er für uns Platz hat wurden wir abgewiesen. Einen Kinderwagen würde er unter kriegen,aber 2 leider nicht.Er würde dann nicht mehr durch kommen. Wir sind dann ins Centro Sabatini. Hier wurde für uns Platz geschaffen. Das Thunfisch Avocado Tatar war super lecker. Gerne wollte ich diese Erfahrung mit dem Restaurant am Frauentag teilen. Und hoffe,dass in Zukunft Platz geschaffen wird,wenn der doch da ist. Denn wo ein Wille,da auch ein Weg!

We were there today around 3 p.m. 2 women, 2 babies in a stroller. The weather was nice and we were looking forward to a late, good lunch outside. It was only half full outside. After we asked the waiter if he had room for us, we were turned away. He would be able to fit a stroller, but unfortunately not 2. He would then no longer be able to get through. We then went to Centro Sabatini, there was no problem with 2 strollers. Space was created. The tuna avocado tartare was super tasty. I wanted to share this experience with Restaurant Meyer on Women's Day. And I hope that in the future, if there is enough space, it will be possible. Because where there is a will, there is a way!

I haven't eaten THIS GOOD in a long time! Great cuisine and great service! Our evening was perfect there, thank you for that!

Ich bin zum ersten mal geschäftlich mit meiner Arbeitskollegin in dieses Restaurant gegangen. Die Tische waren so eng aneinander gereiht das man kaum ungestört sprechen konnte. Der Fit-for-Fun Salat war fad mit seltsamen Dressig, der spezielle Vitaldrink ungenießbar. Alles in allem hat eigentlich nur das Brot als Beilage geschmeckt alles andere war einfach nur ungenießbar. Die Preise komplett unangemessen und viel zu teuer. Die Krönung war anschließend, dass ich mit meiner Kreditkarte bezahlt habe. Als die Rechnung kam, habe ich 120 Euro bezahlt. Meine Arbeitskollegin stellte jedoch fest, das uns die Rechnung von anderen Gästen in Rechnung gestellt wurde. Es wurden satte 50 Euro zu viel berechnet und dass bei einem Geschäftsessen. Meine Arbeitskollegin hat dann zwar das Storno veranlassen, jedoch bekam ich 50 Euro in Bar. Steuertechnisch habe ich jetzt eine Belastung von 120 Euro die nicht zum Geschäftsbeleg passt und extra eine Quittung für die Barauszahlung veranlasst werden muss. Dieses Restaurant kann ich niemandem mit gutem Gewissen empfehlen. Meyers Restaurant in Frankfurt ? Nie mehr wieder!

Not a cheap place, I expected great service and very good and tasty food. However, the food was not very tasty and the service was not at a high level. I definitely wouldn't go there a second time.

We had reserved a table with comfortable seats and were then in the restaurant and not outside in the "winter garden" Comfortable is relative, the tables were far too narrow for me, the lady at the next table cleared away the salt and pepper as she left, OK the bench is soft but I didn't find the seating position to be comfortable, especially since you had to go in and out every time the waitress went in or out constantly sat in cold drafts. Ordering food was still ok. But then the food came, just no drinks The hope that this will come was only fulfilled after the complaint, when we had almost finished eating. Not nice, but we didn't have to pay for it. Which brings us to the price. And of course, it's all relative, subjective, but for me it's overpriced home cooking which does not automatically become a star kitchen because of the price.

Très bon carpaccio de bœuf. Bons plats également et vin au verre très correct. Service correct sans plus. Belle terrasse chauffée en hiver.

Went to Meyers with colleagues for an early Christmas dinner. Personally, I, but also some of my colleagues, were quite disappointed. The taste of the food is average and the portions are smaller than in a daycare center. They try to suggest high cuisine there, but there is still a long way to go. The prices are beyond good and bad and don't make it a sterene restaurant. In my opinion, these were the most expensive tagliatelle of my life, even if there was a little truffle sliced ​​on top. Spices could hardly be tasted. For dessert we ordered Kaiserschmarrn, here the waiter offered to make a portion for 3 people and asked if he should make 2 more ice cream balls so that everyone could have one. It seemed strange to us, but at the end we noticed that a single portion was actually served for 3 people. The waiters were friendly but hectic. Fits into the “always trying” category. These are my personal, subjective impressions; other guests may have different opinions and have had different experiences.

Forget about service, the people here couldn’t even find that word in the dictionary.

Servicio y cocina muy profesional. Personal muy amable y eficiente. Clásicos en la carta y gran surtido de vinos. Colin y sus colegas están haciendo un gran trabajo.

Super delicious food with selected delicacies. We had lunch and felt very comfortable. There was also a lot on the menu for vegetarians, and the service was super friendly and attentive. Smoothies are recommended as an alcohol-free alternative.

We stayed at Meyer’s before a visit to the old opera. Ambience is nice, location is great. The service could be a little more “on point”. It was 5:30 p.m. and not full, but the service still took a while. Unfortunately, even though the dishes were fresh and beautifully presented, Meyer's was not convincing in terms of taste.

Yo estaba en dos de sus puntos de venta en Frankfurt Terminal 1 y ambos estaban terriblemente administrados. La comida es buena, pero el personal y el managemebt até una pesadilla. Primero estaba en una pequeña cerca de la puerta A 5, dirigida por dos damas latinoamericanas. Mientras había gente severa en la cola para bua comida, una de las señoras estaba llevando todos los panini y focaccia a bolsas de papel y poniéndolos a un lado, probablemente para llevar a casa... El segundo era más grande y con más personal, pero un terrible desastre con los clientes que se quejan y no clientes que utilizan los pocos asientos.

This is clearly a restaurant worthy of being called “Fine Dining”. Indoor space is limited. However on a Friday night while having tables available we were made to sit outside. No complaints as weather was amazing and the exceptional food more than makes up for the average service. If you are in the Bockenheim Strasse area it is worth paying a visit.

Meyers Feinkost ist eine Institution in Frankfurt und so erstaunt es nicht, dass das angeschlossene Restaurant zu jeder Zeit gut besucht ist. Die Speisekarte ist klein und bietet über das Jahr hin immer ungefähr das Gleiche mit einigen saisonalen Ergänzungen (wie z.B. derzeit Kürbis und Pfifferlinge). Die Einrichtung ist eher einfach und etwas eng. Im "Außenbereich" (Beheiztes Dauerzelt auf der Fressgasse) gibt es kleine Tische vor unbequemen Regiestühlen. Der Service ist sehr routiniert aber etwas herablassend. Die Qualität der Speisen gut, aber nicht außerordentlich. Den Preis: 36 € für eine kleine Portion sehr schmackhafter aber leider etwas zäher Calamaretti mit Safranrisotto finde ich üppig. Auch die Beurteilung "faire Weinpreise" verstehe ich nicht ganz, da ein 0,1 Glas ca. 9€ kostet. Wahrscheinlich ging man von dem üblichen 0,2 Glas aus. Insgesamt solide Qualität für überzogenen Preis und etwas lieblose Bedienung

Great delicatessen shop right at the Alte Oper.

Food very mediocre, but 150€ for a single bottle of sparkling water, 2 starters, 2 main courses. The starter was called ceviche on the menu, but it was a salmon tartare. The salmon pieces were cut into 2 euro chunks, chewy, with a gray edge of fat and convenience guacamole from the wholesaler. Carpaccio tasteless, apart from the mustard sauce that came with it. Ordered fillet of beef medium rare, with a lot of goodwill it was medium, rather medium-well. No compensation whatsoever even though we pointed out the defects. The only "classy" thing about this restaurant is the name.

Un encantador restaurante con cenas interiores y exteriores en el corazón de Frankfurt. Visitamos un sábado soleado por la tarde y elegimos asientos al aire libre para el almuerzo con vista completa del bullicioso paisaje urbano. El personal es amable y eficiente. Declaramos con dos copas de champán a 18 € cada uno, (sobreprecio por una quinta parte de una copa de champán) esta fue la única desventaja de nuestra experiencia en Meyers. Por lo demás disfrutamos mucho de la comida que estaba muy bien presentado y delicioso. Nuestras opciones de vino también fueron satisfactorias, así como el ambiente del lugar. Vale la pena visitarlo.

Wir waren gerade im Meyers, Essen wie gewohnt gut. Leider hat der Kellner Speisen verschüttet, unsere Kleidung versaut und sich nur „ach“ gesagt. Der Restautrantleiter hat im Vorbeigehen nur gesagt, dass die Reinigungsrechnung geschickt werden sollte, nicht mehr, kein Wort der Entschuldigung oder des Bedauerns. Ich habe Ihn daraufhin angesprochen, dabei wurde er verbal unverschämt. Ich kann Meyers nicht mehr empfehlen, es sei denn Sie gehen im Neoprenanzug essen. So eine Unverschämtheit habe ich in einem guten Restaurant noch nie erlebt!!!

When in Germany during spring, one must definitely try the white asparagus which hearsay Germany is the only country with white asparagus. Indeed, was very different, soft, juicy yet light crunchy texture makes this dish a unique main meal on it's own. Served with baby potatoes and is quite filling.

All the ingredients are very, very fresh and look very appetizing. Homemade fresh cheese and tiramisu are both delicious :)

Unser Abendessen im Meyer's war: ausgesprochen lecker und mit viel Atmosphäre (weil top Service). Wir haben uns total wohlgefühlt (bis auf bisschen kalten Luftzug durch die immer wieder geöffnete Türe nach draußen). Lachs als Vorspeise (mit Pilzen) und das Rinderfilet als Hauptgang waren richtig lecker. Beim nächsten Frankfurt Besuch kommen wir wieder ins Meyer's.

Very, very nice little restaurant with excellent cuisine - I the steak - was a poem! The staff is also very accommodating - had to catch a flight and they worked hard to get everything done on time! 2 thumbs up and I'll be back!!

I selected the sea bass plate and it was delicious. The toilet was dirty. Other than that it was a nice place to have dinner.

Also ich war schon in vielen Restaurants. Die meisten davon hochpreisig und exklusiv. Aber dieses Restaurant ist wirklich das beste in dem ich jemals gewesen bin. Super freundlich, mega bemüht und total Serviceorientiert. Mir wurde Wasser von alleine nachgeschenkt und wirklich dezent nachgefragt ob alles in Ordnung ist. Mein Mann und ich hatten hier einen rund um gelungenen Abend mit überragendem Essen. Vielen Dank

Hervorragende Küche, aufmerksamer Service, hochpreisig, so lässt sich unsere Erfahrung zusammenfassen. Der Gastraum ist zwar edel ausgestattet, aber man fühlt sich stilistisch etwa 20-30 Jahre zurückversetzt. Die angedeuteten Kapitälle, die dunkelgrüne, bollwerkartige Fassade wirken aus der Zeit gefallen.
