OMG we went twice, the BEST schnitzel in a city full of schnitzel.

Bottomless. Ordered Frankfurter sausage with gray bread for Äppler… Got Vienna sausage with white bread. Then you can only pay in cash, which is not communicated beforehand. And the Äppler tastes really at the lower end of the spectrum.

I ordered a juice but it was served without a straw. I asked three different waiters for a straw but unfortunately I never got it. This was very disappointing and the service was overall inattentive.

We had breakfast with friends for the first time on Saturday at the local train station. The employees are super friendly and the atmosphere is simply relaxed. The buffet is very extensive and lovingly furnished. You can even bake your own waffles. All of this for under €15…simply perfect. We'll be back!

We were here on Sunday for the brunch buffet. You can sit in the back yard in a nice, shady place. Despite the tables being full, it's not too loud and you can still have a good conversation. The service was nice. The buffet offers a mix of savory and sweet options; A highlight is that you can make fresh waffles yourself using the waffle iron. There are also vegan options, hot/cold food and fruit. Large selection of sweet spreads. Everything was tasty, but the following points bothered me: - The amount for the buffet does not include drinks, and you can tell that you make a lot of money from them. Not even a jug of tap water is available free of charge. In my opinion, fresh juices should also be available at the buffet, it's simply part of a hearty breakfast. - There are some signs missing at the buffet, for example with the jams you had to guess which was which. - Unfortunately there was a hair on my straw in the drink, and also on the cutlery. - The buffet is set up inside and it is very narrow, so there are sometimes long waiting times. - No card payment is possible! In my opinion, this is an absolute nonsense, especially given the amounts that are due here. All in all, the quality is ok, but everyone has to decide for themselves whether it is worth the money.

We were at the buffet that they offer on weekends and the food was fabulous and of very good quality but the service was not as expected since the waiters were not so attentive and friendly. You can only pay by card, a fact that we did not know and which completely broke the atmosphere. I don't know why he doesn't specify it but it was an unpleasant surprise, since if you don't have enough cash you have to go to the nearest ATM.

Came here for Sunday brunch - it was a German buffet with numerous options for all dietary restrictions! About €20 per person

Large portions, quality OK, service quick. However, the impression of fat-shaming arose because my overweight companion asked Side-Eye several times whether she REALLY wanted to order the Kaiserschmarrn.

Family atmosphere, quiet outdoor area in the backyard, the colorful umbrellas in the passage are regularly replaced after storms and hail, great attention to detail. The Kaiserschmarrn I had was freshly prepared on time (but it takes 20 minutes!) and was a caramel-y treat for the late breakfast at 11:30 a.m. Big portion. Pack up leftovers possible. The huge selection of hot chocolate is also particularly worth mentioning. I had a small dark chocolate and it was served with milk foam in a cup (approx. 0.2l - which was a surprisingly large portion for me). Top staff, we had the menu in our hands within seconds. Friendly and knowledgeable about daily recommendations outside of the menu.

Nice location - especially outside and in the evening. Service partly good, partly rude. Food (warm food in the evening) is okay, but slightly expensive for the quality. Big minus point: they don't accept card payments. The justification is even worse: “We don’t want to pay taxes.” Ultimately, Paypal was accepted. I generally avoid such stores after the first visit. Which is a shame, because I would have liked to come back to the beer garden in the evening for a few beers.

We were at the local train station for the first time today, with all the kids. If my daughter were to give stars, she would give 10 stars. I can only agree with her. When you come into the garden, it's like you're on vacation. The kitchen knows its craft, there are turkey schnitzels. The meat is anything but dry, it is tender and buttery soft. The breading is not as you would expect, light and fine, it is more like breadcrumbs. It is beautifully presented on a wooden board with some salad on the side, the sauces in separate pots. It all looks very fine, but what bothered me were the grooves in the wood. I have no idea why, but it didn't look good upon closer inspection. That's really complaining on a high level from me. Children's cutlery was provided in advance without asking, which makes us parents happy because everyone thinks ahead. A huge toy box was also brought out for the children 🥰 -shocked- in love with the service. As a new visitor to the restaurant, you notice how many regular guests the restaurant has, everyone knows the name of the owner and the service staff, which says a lot about the restaurant. You can only keep loyal customers if you set high standards for your food and service. Thank you for the experience!

First no one comes to take the order, then the wrong drink, then the wrong food. So it seems to be a matter of luck... However, they apologized very kindly and didn't charge for the food.

Since when the waiter gets 10 euros tip by himself and acts like they did nothing? Well, here they did for sure. Tipping is nice to do but especially not when it is taken without my consent. I obviously took it back! Shameful really!!! And the food is under average for sure. Try to put a smile once in a while - it is good, trust me! You even look better!! Then you can definitely deserve the tip. But what they do is stealing face to face!! Shame.

We booked ourselves into the Lokalbahnhof restaurant for a breakfast buffet on a Friday for a company event (group of 60 people). We had the restaurant to ourselves and were accommodated on the ground floor. The buffet simply tasted incredibly good. The selection was huge and there was enough choice available for both vegetarians and vegans. The dip variations were only topped by the waffle station! The employees were super friendly and accommodating. We will definitely come back for the next company party. I can only recommend it here. Thank you for the super breakfast! See you soon!

Sorry guys, but delivery of Frankfurter Schnitzel with fried potatoes and salad - without salad dressing, without eggs and burnt fried potatoes for €22 is not okay.

Was eaten several times. Good food, appetizingly prepared and served. What is particularly worth highlighting is the staff. Very helpful, polite, friendly and clean! Even the boss spares no effort. The only thing that could be optimized is payment by card. Unfortunately you can only pay in cash here.

My visit to the Lokalbahnhof restaurant in Frankfurt am Main was a real pleasure. As a starter, I was served two small baguette slices with a delicious tomato spread - a wonderful introduction to the meal that followed. The breaded schnitzel that I ordered was perfectly prepared: crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The fried potatoes that came with it were wonderfully crispy and tasty. Particularly noteworthy is the Frankfurt green sauce, which rounded off the dish perfectly. I was impressed by the quality of the food and the loving preparation. The friendly staff and the cozy atmosphere made the visit a completely successful experience. I can only warmly recommend the Lokalbahnhof restaurant and look forward to my next visit!

A traditional restaurant in Sachsenhausen. We just stopped here for a quick drink. That's why I can't rate the food. We were upstairs. The atmosphere there is not that nice. You have to like the surface-mounted cabling for the lighting and the television. It looked very improvised and I didn't really like it. The service was fine. I was there for lunch today Local station. On Fridays all schnitzels are available for €12.50! I had the schnitzel with green sauce. The taste was great! I really like this place, I've been there several times. The brunch offering is excellent and is characterized by its variety. However, there are two aspects that I don't like so much. 1-It is not possible to pay by card. 2-On my second visit I had to ask for a receipt again. At first they seemed to ignore me and only after asking several times was I finally issued one. These are exactly the reasons why I only give it 3 stars.

At first glance, reading the menu, the prices seem high. But you will find that the portions are very generous. The quality of the dishes is very high for a bar/pub with kitchen. I recommend the choice of burgers, which can be ordered with a double patty, with various fillings. Very kind staff!

I was here for brunch (Sunday). Food and service very solid, but the price for orange juice at €8 for 0.4l cannot be justified.

As vegetarians, we ordered a vegan burger and received a normal burger with meat. However, the waiter only noticed this when the bill was paid at the end. Instead of apologizing, we had to pay an extra €4.50 because the burger with meat is more expensive. Flexibility in the kitchen cannot be expected here, ordering burgers without japalenos is not welcome in this restaurant, here you have to choose a suitable menu without any little extra requests. Being served a meat burger as a vegetarian is an absolute no-go! We'll probably never come back!

Last Sunday I was there again for brunch. Very large selection with delicious food. We were also able to sit outside, as there is currently a tent and high-quality heaters in the outdoor area. All in all, a successful Sunday brunch in a nice atmosphere with delicious food and friendly service. -------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------- Modern, friendly atmosphere. There is a delicious lunch there on weekdays at top fair prices. But you can also order from the menu. In summer I prefer to sit outdoors. There is a cozy backyard with friendly seating. The staff is very attentive and friendly. All in all very recommendable.

Great food but will not be revisiting any time soon. Had a business meeting there and the server was one of the rudest I have come across. Passing sexist comments and inflicting his frankly really rude and unasked for opinions on us, unprovoked. My guests were so uncomfortable and I just felt terribly embarrassed that I’d suggested this as a good place to meet up. Such a pity. I’d been a patron for years.
