Mega great restaurant! I really like coming here for the Frankfurter Schnitzel because it's the only restaurant I know where I can get eggs with the schnitzel😋. I think that's great! And of course the food tastes very delicious! The service is super nice, there is a great selection of cocktails and a great ambience, a well-rounded affair👌 Definitely recommended!

I recommend this place. My colleagues and I went there for dinner, we had the top sitting reserved. The staffs were friendly and helpful and the food was really good. I had the pasta with pistachios and chicken and it was good. For dessert, I had the cake and ice cream. My colleagues had risotto, burgers, schnitzel and they all confirmed it was good too. I would love to visit again.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A wonderful café with a great atmosphere! Although it's primarily intended for relaxing, I always get my coffee to go here – and with a friendly smile. The service is warm, and the coffee is simply excellent. A little break from everyday life, even if it's just for a few minutes. Highly recommended!

Great location for watching football. Green sauce is really delicious. However, fries could be a little crispier. The Äppler tastes good. The white wine and the crispy chicken pieces are great.

Unfortunately, I was treated aggressively by an employee in February. I was touched without asking and insulted in a sexist manner, so much so that I left the restaurant crying. I reported the incident in writing to the boss and despite asking twice, I received no response. I find it really hard that this is just swept under the rug and the burden is left on me. I've only communicated this internally, but since you don't take a stand or process it, I'm making it public now so that women know what they're getting into when they have brunch there.

One would say “rustic” in Bavaria. Good burger with crispy fries. Unfortunately my drink, bread with dip and food arrived at the same time after I had to wait quite a long time in the empty restaurant before I could order.

Very attentive staff and great food! The boss, however, was incredibly unfriendly... After an invoice error by the staff, a higher bill was added up and the service provider was incredibly rude and unfriendly!

Years ago I enjoyed going there for brunch on Sundays. Now I was visiting Frankfurt again and it is even better than back then! Very great selection for vegans too. Everyone will be happy there. Thank you for this stability in Frankfurt. PS: I haven't found many other places with such a selection so far.

Not everyday you find a place that checks all the boxes. We had a lively breakfast. Buffet wasn't that big but so much varieties. The people are so nice. What I really liked was the attention to details. The quality of the food was immaculate. The milk they bring along the Cafe is warm, which I never experienced. Definitely worth you Money. And do make a reservation, especially on weekends

We were there today and said straight away that we just wanted something to drink! It wasn't a problem at all, we checked which table was occupied and when! The place was completely full, such a great atmosphere, such a great staff, you can really tell that they enjoy their job! The children are also taken care of, sensational!!!! You rarely see such a great, friendly, relaxed team! And it's a shame that we went out to eat beforehand, but we'll definitely be there to eat next time we're in Frankfurt! Because so many people who were there today couldn't be mistaken! We are already looking forward to the next time

Innovative brunch at fair prices.

Waiter tries to talk up dishes that aren't on the menu. Uncomfortable because he seems offended if you don't agree. Too bad! My girlfriend just wanted a scoop of ice cream for dessert. Zack; Add cream and another scoop. impertinence. We don't go there anymore. Rip off!

We celebrated in a large group. Since I have often been dissatisfied with the food there, I was very surprised by the burger. Fresh, tasty and a good portion. And finally a burger without BBQ sauce

The Lokalbahnhof is a great location in the heart of Sachsenhausen in Frankfurt. The staff is incredibly friendly and warm, and the boss creates a really great atmosphere with his courteous manner. The food is also fantastic - you can tell that the kitchen puts a lot of effort into it and only uses fresh ingredients. The rooms are modern, stylish and well equipped, perfect for parties and celebrations of all kinds. I was booked there as a DJ + saxophonist for a company party and am looking forward to hopefully performing here again soon! And will definitely come back as a guest. Benedict of Saxsolution

The local train station in Frankfurt is simply fantastic! The food was incredibly tasty, every dish was a delight. The selection of drinks was a perfect match, you really notice the attention to detail. I was particularly impressed by the service – super friendly, attentive and warm. You immediately feel welcome and in good hands. A wonderful place where you can simply have a great time. I'll definitely be back!

Everything tip top. But one star deduction because only cash payment is possible here... How can that be in 2025?! Unfortunately, that's why I don't go there often. Food really tasty, service very accommodating. Unfortunately there is no possibility to change your child's diaper, the toilets are generally very narrow.

Good evening. I've been thinking about writing a review for a week now. Especially the fact that it was reported that you get mail from your lawyer if you don't write anything positive. But our entire group asked me to write a few words. We were at the local train station on Friday last week with a group of 10 people. A part can be seen in the photo. The waitress didn't manage to take everyone's drink order, she kept running away in between. Well, it can happen. She took the appetizer order from a third of the table, first when asked by my husband, then the rest. The same thing happened with the main courses, part of the group had already finished eating when the rest of the table had just received their food. Now about the food. Some of my game ragout was very tough and full of fat. Our host, on the far right in the picture, had the rösti tower with steak strips. He complained to the waiter because the meat was very tough, and in response they brought him a steak knife. :-( My neighbor at the table was missing almost all of the vegetables in her vegetarian dish. Well, she got an espresso as an apology. But she would definitely have preferred a dish as described on the menu. As others have already written here, it is very loud, so it doesn't go well with food. We spent over 500 euros but that won't happen to us again, we were really disappointed. Sorry, I can't write anything better.

The food took a long time (>1h) to arrive. When the noodles arrived, you could already tell that they had been completely cooked to death, while the strips of rump steak had a consistently changing degree of doneness from rare to well done. The ambience was negative due to the music being too loud (even after consulting the staff, the request for volume control was not addressed). In addition, a latent flickering light caused discomfort. Another negative point was that card payments were only possible from €25 onwards, but this was not communicated independently in advance by the staff. It should also be noted that the map is quite confusing.

Beware of rip-offs! Waiter debits drinks several times when group payment is delayed. If you want to clarify this and everyone involved is against it, it will be ignored.

Our first night in Frankfurt we decided to come here because I saw they had English menus and wanted to start off easy! We sat in a small room with a fire place- very romantic. This was a great choice. Schnitzel was huge, tender and moist with a great herb sauce (Frankfurt sauce). The potatoes were very flavorful, too. The server was very kind and when I ordered apfelwein he gave me sparkling water and fanta with it to see how I liked it best. We probably could have shared a plate because it was such a huge portion, just a heads up!

Bottomless. Ordered Frankfurter sausage with gray bread for Äppler… Got Vienna sausage with white bread. Then you can only pay in cash, which is not communicated beforehand. And the Äppler tastes really at the lower end of the spectrum.

I ordered a juice but it was served without a straw. I asked three different waiters for a straw but unfortunately I never got it. This was very disappointing and the service was overall inattentive.

Unbelievable, we waited over 2 hours for the food and the service staff were also overwhelmed. To compensate, I didn't even get a small Goddie, it was really bad. The food was ok, but nothing more. To make matters worse, some of the seats were wet...

We had breakfast with friends for the first time on Saturday at the local train station. The employees are super friendly and the atmosphere is simply relaxed. The buffet is very extensive and lovingly furnished. You can even bake your own waffles. All of this for under €15…simply perfect. We'll be back!

We were here on Sunday for the brunch buffet. You can sit in the back yard in a nice, shady place. Despite the tables being full, it's not too loud and you can still have a good conversation. The service was nice. The buffet offers a mix of savory and sweet options; A highlight is that you can make fresh waffles yourself using the waffle iron. There are also vegan options, hot/cold food and fruit. Large selection of sweet spreads. Everything was tasty, but the following points bothered me: - The amount for the buffet does not include drinks, and you can tell that you make a lot of money from them. Not even a jug of tap water is available free of charge. In my opinion, fresh juices should also be available at the buffet, it's simply part of a hearty breakfast. - There are some signs missing at the buffet, for example with the jams you had to guess which was which. - Unfortunately there was a hair on my straw in the drink, and also on the cutlery. - The buffet is set up inside and it is very narrow, so there are sometimes long waiting times. - No card payment is possible! In my opinion, this is an absolute nonsense, especially given the amounts that are due here. All in all, the quality is ok, but everyone has to decide for themselves whether it is worth the money.

We were at the buffet that they offer on weekends and the food was fabulous and of very good quality but the service was not as expected since the waiters were not so attentive and friendly. You can only pay by card, a fact that we did not know and which completely broke the atmosphere. Large portions, quality OK, service quick. However, the impression of fat-shaming arose because my overweight companion asked Side-Eye several times whether she REALLY wanted to order the Kaiserschmarrn.

Family atmosphere, quiet outdoor area in the backyard, the colorful umbrellas in the passage are regularly replaced after storms and hail, great attention to detail. The Kaiserschmarrn I had was freshly prepared on time (but it takes 20 minutes!) and was a caramel-y treat for the late breakfast at 11:30 a.m. Big portion. Pack up leftovers possible. The huge selection of hot chocolate is also particularly worth mentioning. I had a small dark chocolate and it was served with milk foam in a cup (approx. 0.2l - which was a surprisingly large portion for me). Top staff, we had the menu in our hands within seconds. Friendly and knowledgeable about daily recommendations outside of the menu.

Nice location - especially outside and in the evening. Service partly good, partly rude. Food (warm food in the evening) is okay, but slightly expensive for the quality. Big minus point: they don't accept card payments. The justification is even worse: “We don’t want to pay taxes.” Ultimately, Paypal was accepted. I generally avoid such stores after the first visit. Which is a shame, because I would have liked to come back to the beer garden in the evening for a few beers.

We were at the local train station for the first time today, with all the kids. If my daughter were to give stars, she would give 10 stars. I can only agree with her. When you come into the garden, it's like you're on vacation. The kitchen knows its craft, there are turkey schnitzels. The meat is anything but dry, it is tender and buttery soft. The breading is not as you would expect, light and fine, it is more like breadcrumbs. It is beautifully presented on a wooden board with some salad on the side, the sauces in separate pots. It all looks very fine, but what bothered me were the grooves in the wood. I have no idea why, but it didn't look good upon closer inspection. That's really complaining on a high level from me. Children's cutlery was provided in advance without asking, which makes us parents happy because everyone thinks ahead. A huge toy box was also brought out for the children 🥰 -shocked- in love with the service. As a new visitor to the restaurant, you notice how many regular guests the restaurant has, everyone knows the name of the owner and the service staff, which says a lot about the restaurant. You can only keep loyal customers if you set high standards for your food and service. Thank you for the experience!
