Delicious food! We ordered from Wolt today. Everything was beautifully packaged, fresh, and tasty. It was my first order, but certainly not my last. Highly recommended.

After a long day, I went to Gioia with a group of friends, and I thought the food was really good. I had rigatoni arrabbiata, and it tasted good. The portion was a bit small for my taste (but I also have a big stomach, and I was hungry). The service was friendly and attentive. I was asked if I wanted extra Parmesan, and we had to hurry, so the food came very quickly :-). There were radiators outside, and it was pleasantly warm. I can't complain about the value for money.

Amazing atmosphere and very cozy. I loved the place, the food, and the service! Highly recommended for group dinner, dates, or even to grab your book enjoy food and get lost in your reading.

I went for dinner and the truffle gnocchi was absolutely delicious, I was completely satisfied. If you’re going out with friends and want to enjoy great food in a nice outdoor area where you can talk and relax, this is definitely a great choice.

We stopped at Gioia for lunch on a Monday. We got the business lunch special and was a great deal with a lot of food. I got the vegetable plate and it was very good! Loved the salad that came with it.

My go to in Frankfurt. Cant go wrong with Gnocchi a la crema

The salad was very fresh and flavorful – the dressing was especially delicious. The homemade lemonade was also super refreshing. Our waitress was extremely friendly, attentive, and incredibly sweet. Highly recommended!

A lovely ambiance, even though Paradiesgasse is quite busy, you designed the outdoor area to create a feeling of being alone, including photo service. 😀 Very delicious, authentic Italian food and interesting, soothing fresh juices. Sorry, the service is terrible. The waiter who served us was so unfriendly and not at all customer-oriented. The pasta "Papadelle Pollo" was overcooked and not al dente at all. The chef was probably also very choleric, so you could hear the yelling all the way into the dining room. And then, at the end, two mice wandered through the restaurant. The waiter didn't care...

I'm satisfied with the atmosphere, service, and menu. It's great with beer. It's great for a quick meal.

We had the wood-fired pizza, which unfortunately hadn't seen enough time in the wood-fired oven, and the dough was very far from a typical wood-fired pizza. The taste was therefore rather average. The service was a disaster. The server was very rude and annoyed, and he let the guests know it. Empty plates weren't cleared away. Not recommended – the advertising on social media is enticing, but the experience on site is very disappointing. I wouldn't recommend it.

The food is excellent—especially the non-Italian dishes. Special requests are accommodated. It's a bit noisy inside, but other than that, I always enjoy being a guest (or enjoy hummus and the like at home) :)

A mouse was running around the restaurant. It came out from under the benches at the very back. I immediately pointed it out to the waiter, who just shrugged. I would have at least expected our drinks (three) to be on the house, because with that uninvited guest, it was a very stressful evening, at least for me.

No joy in the food One of my absolute favorite restaurants before COVID. I loved the hummus plate with falafel and lukewarm pita bread. Unfortunately, the quality of the food and the service have deteriorated rapidly recently. You sometimes wait forever before anyone even pays attention. It's okay to wait a little longer for the food. As a guest, I want effort to be put into the preparation. So, nothing against that. The hummus tastes noticeably different. It's simply not the same product anymore. It used to taste like it was homemade (which I accept), but now it tastes like it came straight from a bucket. That's where it belongs. Really not nice. Unfortunately, it's been a disappointment.

The food was very tasty. Unfortunately, there weren't many servers around, so it took quite a while for us to order and for the food to arrive. Unfortunately, everyone's food arrived at different times. Even during the meal, it was very difficult to reorder drinks because there was never anyone around. There were plenty of vegetarian and vegan options.

Delightful vegan options without compromise on taste - try the lemon and broccoli pasta!

We had the business lunch and were very satisfied with the overall quality, especially for the price. We'll be back.

The food is always delicious! The service is also excellent! The restaurant has plenty of outdoor seating, is conveniently located, and the noise from the other nearby Apple restaurants isn't too loud.

Very nice Italian food! I loved the pasta. The drinks were a bit on the blander side and the staff seemed a bit stressed, but it‘s understandable since the place is always packed! Recommend going here if you want a nice dinner with some Aperol on an evening

If we could, we would eat at Gioia's EVERY day. You can immediately tell that the dishes are prepared with love and passion. It's one of the best restaurants, including service, if not among the top three in Frankfurt. Simply TOP!!! We don't leave without an appetizer, main course, and dessert. We truly enjoy our food!

Wat hebben wij heerlijk gegeten! Het is een restaurant langs de weg, iets wat wij in Nederland niet gewend zijn. We hebben een heerlijke pasta en pizza gegeten. Je krijgt meer dan genoeg eten voor een prima prijs. Het personeel is vriendelijk en kon goed Engels.

An excellent restaurant with impeccable Italian cuisine! Pizza "Margarita" - a benchmark taste: thin crispy dough, juicy tomatoes and aromatic basil. Spaghetti conquers with perfectly cooked seafood and rich sauce. The atmosphere is cozy, the service is professional and unobtrusive. It is obvious that the dishes are prepared with love for traditions, using high-quality ingredients. An ideal place for a romantic dinner or a family celebration. Be sure to try their tiramisu - one of the best in the city! We recommend it to all connoisseurs of real Italian cuisine.

Great food, friendly staff. However, one of our main courses was apparently forgotten and arrived after everyone at the table had finished eating. We were immediately offered compensation, but even after asking, it never came through. How much does a shot of liquor cost you? Gastronomy can be so simple... do better next time :)

Unfortunately, I had another disappointment. Both dishes were bad, simply taken out of the freezer. The pasta was made with pressed chicken, like a cheap kebab. Only the syringes were tasty. Otherwise, it's a disaster. And then it comes to payment. I pay with a card, and the waiter hesitates to give me the receipt. It turns out that he "unfortunately" overcharged me by 1 euro. Well... the bottom line - always ask for the receipt FIRST and avoid the place!

This restaurant pleasantly surprised us with both the atmosphere and the cuisine. They really know a thing or two about Italian food. We tried the classic — pizza "Margarita". Thin, crispy dough, fresh tomatoes and aromatic basil created a harmonious and very tasty combination. Spaghetti "Marinara" also did not disappoint: the seafood was cooked perfectly, and the sauce was rich and balanced in taste. The interior creates a warm, cozy atmosphere, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The service is excellent. We definitely recommend this place to all lovers of Italian cuisine!

Both amazing food and staff. I ordered the mediterrian plate and it was so flavorful. On the top list of best falafel and hummus I’ve ever had. For desert I had the pistacchio creme brulee - very delicious.

We ordered for 8 people – everything was simply perfect! Everyone was thrilled; the food was 100% delicious and of outstanding quality. The prices are absolutely fair for what you get. I would even give it 6 stars if that were possible. I've rarely had such good Italian food – I absolutely recommend it!

It’s one of those rare restaurants that truly impress on every level—delicious and varied dishes, beautifully designed interiors and exteriors, a convenient location, professional and attentive staff, and all at reasonable prices. It’s the kind of place that leaves a lasting impression, and I’ll definitely be coming back.

I had a pizza from this wonderful stone oven, followed by an ice cream sundae. And a delicious wine, so fantastic, I can recommend everyone to eat here.

I would have expected the pizza dough to be a bit thicker. It would have been more filling that way. The fact that it was baked in a wood-fired oven is, of course, an important detail. I noticed that the restaurant is very popular with families with children. You can also sit outside when the weather is nice—which is what we did. It was very pleasant. The service was fast. The employee was very friendly and efficient. We were satisfied.

I went to this restaurant today with a friend. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The waitress clearly expressed her displeasure at our lack of a tip—she was even rude. After our "thank you," there was no response; instead, she threw the change on the table. Even after another friendly goodbye, she remained silent and left with only a sarcastic smile. This kind of behavior is completely unprofessional and leaves a very bad impression. It's a shame, because we simply wanted to have a pleasant evening.

Always happy to come here! The gnocchi a la creme are my all-time favorite! It's a shame they always arrive so damn hot in the clay bowl – you can hardly wait until they've cooled down and are ready to enjoy. The sauce is super creamy, the mushrooms are finely sliced, and the gnocchi are light and airy. There are great pinsas, appetizers, and the other pasta dishes are always impressive. The outdoor seating is super cozy in the little huts – the cozy decor means you can linger for a while. For larger groups, it's a good idea to make a reservation in advance, as there's always something going on here. The service is friendly and attentive.

The food was delicious, but the ambiance was rather lackluster. For example, the parasol was placed between the bench and the table, leaving some people isolated at the table. The service met basic needs, although the lady forgot one guest.

I called to find out if they were open due to a holiday. The guy on the phone sounded very annoyed and spoke disrespectfully. As if he were the guest and I was the friendly employee. Then we didn't want to go there anymore. 1 star because otherwise I'm not allowed to post.

I called over the phone to ask what time the kitchen was open until, I was answered disrespectfully and hung up in the middle of my sentence. I have called restaurants many times and have never experienced such disrespect.

Nice restaurant. The price is a bit expensive but it tastes great and is very well prepared. Unfortunately, the service was alone and so you had to wait a little long until you got the drink you ordered.

The atmosphere in the restaurant was nice and we also really enjoyed the starter. Unfortunately, that was all that was remembered positively. The main course was a disappointment. I had pasta with lemon sauce and mint - far too dominant mint, watery, no cheese, zero creaminess. The price-performance ratio here is not right at all. Very disappointed!

We were there for dinner in the evening. The appetizer platter was really tasty – great in terms of taste and absolutely fair in price at around €7 per person. Unfortunately, the main course couldn't keep up: I had rigatoni with wild garlic pesto and shrimps (€19), but the sauce was very watery, the pesto was hardly aromatic and overall not very convincing. The service was okay, but not particularly attentive or warm. The ambience in the restaurant itself was okay, but the environment was very loud - there were a lot of people partying nearby, which really disturbed the atmosphere at dinner. Overall, unfortunately the price-performance ratio is not right for me. I probably wouldn't go again.

Nice restaurant with very good food. Of the Mediterranean platters, I thought the falafel was the best. Lemonade good. Atmosphere cozy, but loud and cramped. Service was quick, there were no questions except when ordering drinks.

Very delicious food. We were able to sit outside, and thanks to blankets and a patio heater at each table, it was nice and warm. The food was excellent. The vegetarian appetizer platter was perfect for two women. The homemade lemonade was a bit sour, so I'd recommend adding sparkling water to dilute it, but otherwise everything was great.

Five of us were at Gioia in the evening and had starters and main courses. The hummus plate is amazing, definitely try it! Pizzas are also consistently good (comparatively small). The sea bream tasted ok, but was probably... no fresh fish (?). Salmon pasta tasted good and a large portion. The service is friendly and well equipped for the number of people. He could be at the table a little more often and ask if it could be something else. We had a table right by the door. Unfortunately, there is a bit of a draft here in the cold season. We recommend the Gioia.

I've never eaten such good pizza. The Pizza Diavolo and the pizza cutter that came with everyone were a great idea. The service was also very friendly, I can only recommend it!
