Very delicious food. We were able to sit outside, and thanks to blankets and a patio heater at each table, it was nice and warm. The food was excellent. The vegetarian appetizer platter was perfect for two women. The homemade lemonade was a bit sour, so I'd recommend adding sparkling water to dilute it, but otherwise everything was great.

Five of us were at Gioia in the evening and had starters and main courses. The hummus plate is amazing, definitely try it! Pizzas are also consistently good (comparatively small). The sea bream tasted ok, but was probably... no fresh fish (?). Salmon pasta tasted good and a large portion. The service is friendly and well equipped for the number of people. He could be at the table a little more often and ask if it could be something else. We had a table right by the door. Unfortunately, there is a bit of a draft here in the cold season. We recommend the Gioia.

It was a Middle Eastern restaurant. The seafood mix was delicious and included shrimp, squid, and shellfish. The pizza and carbonara were also delicious. Personally, the pistachio creme brûlée dessert was a hit. It was also great that we went with a large group of people and could eat a variety of food while sharing.

So I have to say, I've always been very happy with Gioia... the second time I did something wrong and the lady on the phone was very unfriendly and shouted... the last time 2 days ago I threw up after eating and it only stopped when everything was out... the only thing the restaurant offers is an apology, no refund and nothing... very bad customer service... haven't been able to eat for 2 days and feel very bad...

Very nice service and nice atmosphere. Gioia has an attractive menu and a good selection for vegetarians too. We decided on the lunch menu. This included bread with dip, a small salad, a truffle pizza and a soft drink. An unbeatable price for €14.50. Unfortunately we didn't quite like the pizza, it lacked some flavor and spice. I would still come back for another dish.

I thought for a long time whether I should give 3 or 4 stars. I had high expectations of the restaurant and the cuisine, which unfortunately weren't quite met. The vegetarian platter was tasty, filled you up, but wasn't a huge portion either. If I was very hungry it wouldn't have been enough and I think the price is really high. Overall, the platter was, as I said, delicious. The hummus and eggplant were particularly good. I would definitely recommend the eggplant. The falafels were also delicious. I wasn't entirely convinced about the cauliflower. It was too mildly spiced for my taste and had a lemony note that I didn't like that much. However, I can imagine that others like it very much. However, I was definitely disappointed with the salad. The dressing didn't taste like anything. My companion even left her salad left because she found the salad bland. Please work on the dressing and feel free to add a slightly larger portion of salad :) The dessert (pistachio crème brûlée) was really delicious! Because of the good dessert, the meal gets 4 stars from me overall. The ambience itself was nice. However, it was incredibly loud even though the restaurant was relatively empty. The acoustics didn't "distribute" well in the room in any way. On top of that, it was a bit cramped and the tables were close together, so someone was constantly bumping into our table. And unfortunately the lighting was really very low, which made it very dark. What irritated me the most, however, was the service. At first I found the service to be really nice and attentive and very accommodating. However, when we wanted to pay, we had to ask different waiters for the bill 4 or 5 times because no one came. In total we waited probably 40 minutes for the bill and the restaurant was half full at best. One waiter kept assuring us that a colleague would come soon, but she never came and was then surprised that the colleague still wasn't there after asking for the third time... I would have wished it differently and somehow made the evening end on a bad note. Too bad...

First visit. The wood-fired “beetroot” pizza with caramelized onions and pine nuts was a poem. Very friendly staff, cozy atmosphere. Gladly again.

Finally been to Gioia. Without reservation. I was lucky to get a table for two Prosecco at the forefront. Starter: fried cauliflower afterwards best fish and seafood pan. Shrimp with the shell on, of course, as they should be. So they can give off a lot of flavor. Paccheri Marinara on point. Pistachio Creme Brulee in the picture unfortunately Already tried but super tasty. Everything was perfect and the service was also excellent. Price performance mega. Bottle of Graubi in Frankfurt for €23.50 rarely seen. Fully occupied indoors on Thursday evening. Wasn't the last visit. Almost a home game for us. Great evening until the next taste buds. I had the pleasure of visiting the restaurant in Frankfurt and I was thrilled with my experience. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, which immediately created a pleasant mood. The food was outstanding, especially the starters which were really outstanding. The service was also first class, with friendly and attentive staff who made sure we felt completely at ease. I can highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to my next visit.

An Italian restaurant, but what is surprisingly missing from the menu is crostini!! Too bad...

I was there today because I was there a year ago and it was fine then. However, today I ordered seafood pasta and the shrimp wasn't peeled - I had to do it myself. I've never experienced anything like this before. Not to mention that the waitress was very arrogant. When I told her it was the first time something like this had happened to me, she said it was my first time eating seafood. My friend ordered a pizza to take away, but the pizza was just thrown into the box - totally messy! Not to mention she ordered black olives and got something more like green olives. I can't recommend this place! I definitely won't go there again!

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this place. The customer service in particular leaves a lot to be desired, very unfriendly and arrogant (at least the waitress who served us at the table; I can't say anything about the others). At the takeaway, not only what we ate was packed, but also the leftovers that should have been thrown away. The pizza must be portioned by the guest at the table using dull cutlery. Unfortunately I won't be coming back here and I can't recommend this place either

The waiter was friendly and attentive, but at the same time he seemed like someone who was doing this for the first or second time. We had a pizza and four fish dishes at the table. The waiter also brought us a basket with some kind of pizza bread and, if we asked, even more. The fish was good and the sauce was delicious. In order not to lose them, we asked for more bread. The wine - Pinot Gris - was unfortunately just ok and not as great as the food.

Anyone who has Loka filled to capacity in Alt Sachsenhausen on a Tuesday evening is doing everything right. Luckily we reserved, we were already waiting in line outside to find a place in the chilled out interior. Service=top! I think the brisk and attentive waiter has been serving us for 10 years. Super sympathetic. Totally guest oriented. Respect. Pinot Gris from Gut Diehl is great, the Sicilian Vermentino is even better. The Peperoncino pizza was fiery as expected, the filled tortelloni with pumpkin and sage was perfect, the Caprese di Buffalo was a delight. We say thank you for that.

Italian restaurant in Frankfurt u can find 10K of them, this is one extra +, nothing special but correct, the best: the stuff, super kind even when they are super full outside the kitchen, and really fast bringing the food from inside the kitchen.

Went on a weekday night. Overall the place is decent and quite buzzing. But overall not 100% sure honestly. Positive was the nice and quick service, the lively atmosphere and the food was ok. The pizza was hot and fresh but for my taste a bit dry with little cheese and tomato sauce. Prices are ok. Negative was the very cramped layout with people sitting quite close to each other also back to back. It was quite hot for some reason and loud because of all the people. People stay here for several hours to chat, however the chairs are not the most comfortable.

I made the reservation for Sunday via Google Maps at 8 pm on Saturday night, I received the confirmation right away, but I was very surprised when it was suddenly canceled at midnight, when I had already planned the whole trip, from the parking lot to the concert venue. Fortunately, they worked until 2 in the morning, so I dared to warm them up. In addition to loud music and rickshaws, we managed to make the reservation over the phone after several repetitions. The place is cozy, the tables are a bit crowded, you can hardly walk between them, the door of the women's carriage is torn off, it is very small. The food selection is medium, with several types of pizza, pasta, chicken, beef, seafood, and fish dishes, but the quality is excellent. The prices are moderately acceptable. The service is very nice. You can also pay by card.

Nice restaurant with bar in the heart of Sachsenhausen. The interior of the restaurant is quite large, very nicely decorated and has a large number of tables. Unfortunately the tables are very close together in order to seat as many guests as possible. Of course it's smart in itself, but unfortunately it's very uncomfortable because you can't get out without asking other people to get up... So it's definitely not a place for a sweet date because it's also very loud there. But the food is perfect! Only with the Zaatarr Pita we would have liked a little more Zaatarr and tomatoes because it tasted a bit dry 🙏🏼 We can highly recommend the cauliflower starter, as well as hummus (never had such delicious hummus before)

We, my girlfriend and I, recently had lunch at GIOIA. When the weather was nice, we sat under the canopy in front of the restaurant. The selection for lunch is very large, so you are guaranteed to find something every time. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food we selected came very quickly and tasted absolutely delicious. The grilled baby calamari was amazing; with wasabi dip - so delicious. We are thrilled every time and can recommend the restaurant at any time of the year. Please keep it up. We are very happy to come.

I am very satisfied with my visit to GIOIA! The service was super nice and accommodating and the food was also very tasty, apart from the pizza, which was good but nothing special in my opinion. The ambience is simple with simple tables and chairs. However, a lot of effort was put into the decoration and I particularly like the design with lots of plants, so I almost felt like I was in Italy! It's just a shame that the restaurant is right on the main street and is therefore a bit noisy, but that didn't bother me too much. The music in particular was very very very good, please turn up the volume even further next time :)

The Gioia, a restaurant you look forward to after a Friday afternoon in Frankfurt. But everything is too much to ask. We had a reservation for 7:00 PM and after confirmation that we could go at 8:00 PM this was okay. However, at the time we arrived the small western German world was too small. The already balding gentleman, estimated in age, did not appreciate his gentlemen's company, after which he showed us the door in a fairly insistent tone. The neighbors are much nicer.
