It's a very nice hotel. We stayed overnight and had breakfast. right in the center. We were able to walk to the Theater des Westens, the Memorial Church and the KaDeWe.
Lots of regular customers who come here for lunch. If there's something out of the ordinary, everyone wants to eat the same thing and it's over before 3 p.m.
That's why the owners apparently pay a lot of attention to the order in which people enter the café and who is a regular customer. So I was demoted again at the counter because I had pushed my way forward, and another customer was preferred, who, as I observed, only had a table closer, but was less determined than me to order. This was corrected by the owners, which was very unpleasant for me as a guest.
When I ordered, the dish that was apparently most requested that day (the last three portions were being prepared) was gone and only the usual pasta, quiche, etc. remained.
Addendum: Thanks for the great time! I will remember the evenings here forever! It was a real pleasure.
We had dinner here a few weeks ago, but it was so special that it still sticks in my mind. The owner cooks himself and he does it incredibly well. I had the Coq au Vin, I highly recommend it. The atmosphere and hospitality are very warm. We'd love to come back.
We are a group of winegrowers from France and wanted to trust Julia by starting a collaboration with her but the invoice was never paid. She doesn't respond to email or phone when we try to follow up with her. It's not very ethical not to pay winegrowers...
Great selection of different regional and national delicacies. No matter whether you want a good currywurst, cake, eclaire, fish, lobster, oysters, champagne... you will not only find what you are looking for here, but you will also receive decent and courteous service...
The service person at the sandwich stand (great pastrami sandwich) then asked me if I wanted anything else and she offered to go to the patisserie next door to get me a coffee, a pistachio eclaire and a souvenir to take home, so I could sit relaxed, drink my water and pay for everything together at the end.
Mega!
I'll definitely come back there...
(The layout reminds me a bit of la Fayette in Paris)
We visited this restaurant to have lunch and celebrate a birthday and were absolutely delighted! The food was incredibly delicious, everything was fresh and had a real Greek taste. The waiters were very friendly and attentive. I brought candles in advance to surprise my husband for dessert, and the staff happily helped - they not only decorated the cake, but also turned on the music, congratulated him, creating a real holiday. It was very nice and touching! The atmosphere is warm and cozy - we had a great time. Thanks a lot! We'll definitely come back again!
I just love it here and want to go back asap. Lovely staff, amazing ambiance and the food and drinks are super tasty too. Worth a visit if you want to have a great time and not leave again.
Very nice staff, we waited less than 5 minutes and got our food straight away.
I can recommend it to anyone who is in Berlin and wants to try a delicious breakfast.
A unique place for a Brunch with friends. The space and its decoration were very well thought out, in line with the gastronomic proposal they offer and their cocktails make the experience a gem in the area. You must book in advance, since it is a fairly busy place, but the attention and prompt response to your requirements during the experience are without fail very fast.
Very nice looking restaurant but the food is so meh: stale chips, feta instead of cotilla cheese, broken cold corn tortillas. I ordered an ensalada de atun, and instead of a tuna filet, I got canned tuna with French dressing. 🫤 Won't go back again.
Oh, Panama—where the vibe is divine,
Especially in spring and summer’s shine.
Outdoor dining with friends to share,
Delicious bites and fresh air everywhere.
The food’s made for sharing, each dish a delight,
And the orange wine? Perfect, crisp, and light. 🍊🍷
A lovely spot to laugh and dine,
Oh, Panama—you’re truly fine!
