KINK Bar & Restaurant in Berlin

Delicious food and lovely venue. Some food was forgotten from our order and we waited so long we jsut cancelled those dishes. The staff were very apologetic and we were given a small discount.

The cocktails and vibes was nice. Service was ok. Had to ask for water 5 times (leaving plenty of time in between asking). Got the ‘Feed Me’ or trust the chef menu and it was not enough food. The starters all lacked cohesion, for example, we were given two burratas but nothing to go with it. Three pieces of broccoli for four people. Mains were nice but for dessert we were given some chocolate. It would have been nice to have tasted some of the more unique desserts. Food was good but for the cost it was rather dissapointing and needed to get more food elsewhere afterwards. Would recommend for drinks only

Genuinely fabulous food. My last visit was two years ago and the quality has actually even increased! I remembered Kink for good food and outstanding cocktails but the food was truly delightful this time. I’ll be back much sooner! As a busy restaurant in Berlin, there could always be more & friendlier staff — but that’s coming from Brits and Americans who have other standards 🙈 For Germany, the service is pretty good 😉 I liked that seasonal asparagus dishes were available. We had a mix of meat dishes which were great but ordered mostly vegetarian — it was the burrata and ravioli that blew us away most. Even the bread and butter are lovely and the oysters were fantastic. We also enjoyed the cocktails and Petnat (sparkling natural wine)!

Short but carefully selected menu. One in our party does not eat dairy and it was easy to find items or leave the dairy out. Fun vibe, great service and delicious food

Food is cool, cocktails are below average

Unfortunately, this place disappoints. The service is poor (we waited 30 minutes to order after asking twice, and another 20 minutes waiting for the bill). The waiting staff seem disinterested, which I can understand in a tourist trap restaurant. Bit of a shame because the food was nice, and reasonably priced. But being here was not a smooth and enjoyable experience - perhaps it has become too touristy. Wouldn't recommend unless the service improves.

Kink is a chic restaurant with a unique ambiance. The food was delicious and appealing, and the service was professional, casual, and friendly. The oysters were extremely fresh, and the octopus had the perfect texture. The dessert, with ice cream and a creatively molded banana, was also very fine and delicious. I found the value for money to be very good. The neon light in the bar area is an absolute eye-catcher. Great restaurant!

Really disappointing. Both the food and the service. We ordered 5 dishes and 2 drinks (plus a bottle of water). We were specifically asked if we wanted the dishes all at once or when they were ready. The first four dishes took nearly an hour and arrived at the same time. Lamb – This was tasty. But it shouldn’t take nearly an hour for a plate of cold meat, some vegetables and a sauce. White beans – Lukewarm would be an overstatement. Normally we would have sent this back, but the wait had made us hungry. Broccoli – We ended up sending this back. A few sprigs of twig like broccoli. That had once met a grill but were served cold. Topped with a dollop of congealed sauce. Mushroom Crème Brulé – We ended up sending this back. Nothing creamy whatsoever about this. Just an incredibly grainy mushroom pate in a small dish with a sad piece of cold toast. At this point we tried to find a member of staff but the one we did find simply stated that we weren’t in his section. But that he would inform our server. Falafel – Honestly not great. But we waited another 20 minutes for it and were starving. A soggy texture-less mess in the middle with some crispy bits on the outside. The person who delivered it couldn’t help. But said that she would get our server. Eventually the person at the table next to us physically grabbed a member of staff so that they could order. I took this opportunity to talk to them and send back the Broccoli and Mushroom Crème Brulé. To their credit they did comp these two dishes. But if the service had been faster and our stomachs not so empty two more would have been sent back. Drinks were actually quite nice. We would have ordered more if any staff had come near our table in the near hour we were wating for food. Note: German businesses have a tendency to take down anything but 5 star reviews by exploiting the countries defamation laws. You see it everywhere. I have added a photo of my receipt to the review. Have kept the booking emails and email requesting feedback after our visit. And have the bank records linked to the recipt I've uploaded.

Excellent food and a good concept.

Nice athmosphere and beautiful clubby bar area. The restaurant ist utterly disappointing. As usual these days, overpriced “tapas” sharing dishes (4 broccoli rabe pieces for 14€…). To top it off the waiters were totally clueless. Didn’t know the 4 kinds of beer on the menu and what the dishes were. For that price you’d expect a bit professional service.

5 stars, hands down! If you're looking for an extraordinary location, you'll find it here. The name says it all. We enjoyed both the restaurant and our time at the bar. Gazing at the staff and guests in the hustle and bustle while sipping good drinks made the evening even more special. Thank you!

Location was superb, amazing interior and exterior. Staff were really friendly and very attentive service. Did not realise that the food was all little portions so had different expectations on size but thats on me! Food wasn’t incredible but it was nice. Torstraße-esque clientele so i suppose they know their demographic when it comes to slightly over priced small plates!

Slow service, sat at 8:30 but didn’t get served until about 9:45, and they forgot items, even the wine took about 30 minutes from ordering, despite an almost totally empty inside and an outside half full. Decent food but overpriced.

Kink has a great vibe—cool ambiance, super friendly staff, and a beautiful outdoor seating area. It’s definitely the kind of place you’d want to settle into for a night out. The food was really tasty, no complaints there. But as someone who doesn’t drink AND is vegan, the options were pretty limited. We tried all three vegan dishes on the menu, reordered two of them for a second round, and still left feeling a bit hungry. That said, if you’re an omnivore who enjoys cocktails and a fun night out, this place will probably hit the spot. It’s a great setting with solid service—just not quite the right fit for me.

The food was amazing and the servers even more. We had a blast for sure. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a nice restaurant to have a nice meal. The atmosphere both inside and outside was also breathtaking

Three friends, a recommended restaurant in Berlin, but a disappointing experience: although it wasn’t busy, service was extremely slow. We ordered 10 dishes and wine — only 3 arrived (and were great) within 20 minutes. Then nothing for over an hour. The waiter eventually admitted there’d been a mistake and the rest wasn’t even being prepared. Hungry and frustrated, we left without waiting any longer.

The outdoors seats of KINK in the yard are great for friends gathering. Drinks and food here are all good and easy. The atmosphere here is so open and easy just like Berlin.

The place is stunning and if we would have gone for only the bar we would rate it 5 stars But the restaurant part : very overrated. Very small portions. The taste was good, the ravioli tasted special, but the rest: sweet patato, pork belly, grilled eggplant, lamb, stracciatella, all of it not that impressive and just not worth the money. And it didn't help that one of the waiters was dressed in his pyjama's and the other one like he just came back from a jog in the park. Pretentious place, won't come back.

We was really looking forward to the experience, but was rather disappointed. The food was really good and the first meeting with the staff was really good. We ordered food and wine, but one of our orders was forgotten, and we sat a long time and waited for the next round of food. After a while we did ask a waiter, and he came out (after a long time) and told us, that he had forgotten to give our order to the chef. He had therefor cancelled our order. We got a new menu so we could order dessert. We sat - again for long time, before we got in contact with a waiter. She took our order. We waited - again - for a long time, before a waiter came up to us to ask, if we were waiting for something. We told him, that we had ordered dessert and drinks. He went out to the kitchen. We waited for a while before our drinks came - they were good. We waited and waited for desserts. We got in contact with the same waiter, who forgot to give our order to the kitchen, and he went out to the kitchen to ask, if our desserts was on its way. He came out and told us, that he had cancelled the desserts, because they weren’t on their way. We paid and walk to another place, where we got our desserts. The food we tasted was really delicious, but our experience all over was really not good. It’s really a shame.

Had great time at a party on1 st of May, atmosphere and people were all friendly and music was perfect!

We came for dinner on a Wednesday evening after making a reservation. The venue is lovely; we sat in the garden at a large table, and the seating is comfortable, complemented by a pleasant ambiance. The service is friendly and professional, allowing us enough time to make our choices which we appreciated. Their concept is to select 2-3 dishes per person to share. We ordered six vegetarian dishes for the evening. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. Either the portions are too small for the price, or the flavors are not exceptional enough to justify the cost. In both cases, the value for money did not meet our expectations. While the food was good, it didn’t offer something particularly new or even surprising; tasty but not outstanding. Given the prices, we would have expected more and yes, the portion are small. Although we appreciated the ambiance and the service, this isn’t a place we would return to for food; instead, I might consider it for drinks sitting in the garden or at the bar.

We ordered 5 plates for dinner. The first two arrived in like 15mins. After an 1hour15mins we informed the waiter that if our food does not arrive to our table in 5mins we would like to cancel the order, pay and leave. The waiter 'looked' at his watch so they know what 5mins mean. There was no action from his side (maybe go to the kitchen or let a manager know the situation). Instead he continued serving other tables. When the 5mins came to an end we left our table.. went to the counter to pay... and the same waiter almost charged us with food that never came to our table. No apologies of course and life goes on I guess. Such a bummer! Also… kind of pathetic that KINK Bar and Restaurant only answers to good reviews 😅

Nice restaurant but vegetarian food was disappointing and overpriced

Nice food, friendly staff and cozy place, but the portions and glasses are small considering the price you pay. All in all, it was fine, but not amazing.

The food is poor not creatie, service is not good , a lot of waiting in general

Unfortunately we waited a very long time for the food. Food was good, but only after remembering it several times. First came the main course. After about 1 hour the fries. As an apology he offered us a bread basket, which we gratefully accepted, but unfortunately it was also included in the bill.

I was at the Kink with my girlfriend and the evening was honestly a failure. Service was super slow, we waited 15 minutes for a glass of champagne, the food was okay but not special and the atmosphere was also modest. Price performance is really zero here.

A very nice place but overpriced, the food is nice but not worth the price you can get similar food in other places for half the price, plus my plate was broken, I told the waiter about it and he said the “Chef doesn’t want to throw plates away” which I understand but then why do I pay almost 30 euros my dish for it to arrive in a broken plate. Drinks were nice, the waiters were very nice too. The place is very big and the atmosphere is great. Nice to go once maybe but too overpriced for me

People don't need anything more, period

Hidden at the back of a beautiful little courtyard, Kink Berlin is one of those rare places where everything starts with atmosphere. The façade is stunning, the kind that makes you slow down before entering. Inside, the welcome is as warm as it is professional — attentive without ever being heavy-handed. A cloakroom awaits, a small but always appreciated gesture. Before being seated, we were guided to the bar — and what a bar. A hypnotic space, glowing with sculptural lights floating above your head. The cocktails were superb: thoughtful, balanced, with just the right creative twist. Once at our table, the experience stayed true to its promise. The menu is sharp and seasonal, built around strong, well-executed ideas. The veal carpaccio was particularly remarkable — delicate, fresh, elevated by perfect seasoning. But the true highlight was the octopus. Without exaggeration, one of the most tender and perfectly cooked I have ever tasted — a rare mastery. The wine list is curated with intelligence, and the service throughout the evening was flawless: kind, relaxed, and precise. A special mention also goes to the playlist — an elegant blend of old-school hip-hop, soul, and R&B — giving the whole place a uniquely warm and stylish energy. If I had to offer two small reservations: the potato gratin with truffle, although technically perfect, lacked a little depth of flavour. And while the bread was excellent, €10 for it felt slightly excessive. But these are minor details in what was, overall, an exceptional dining experience. Kink is not simply a restaurant — it’s a place of craft, of taste, of atmosphere. Expensive? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely. Without a doubt, one of the most beautiful and memorable meals I’ve had in Berlin — and quite possibly beyond.

Super tasty food, very nice service. Not cheap in price, but worth it. The atmosphere is not for me, the chairs are just too uncomfortable and hard for me.

I found the food to have a wonderful flavor. The atmosphere was also very beautiful.

If you want a night out on the town it’s a great spot for drinks and food. Think upscale bar/lounge with restaurant. There’s a live DJ. Setting is modern and chic. My group and I had some drinks first in the lounge part while our table was being setup and shout out to the maitre’d with the green jacket. Provided us with excellent service and we felt very taken care of. We ordered a round of drinks and I can recommend the penicillin was fresh and sour just very good. We moved over to the dining area and we were impressed with the overall meal. Highly recommend the Octopus and the special featured truffle pasta. The broccoli starter was also very good. All in all great meal. We then moved back to the lounge bar and had another round of drinks. I’ll say the lounge bar side has better service than the resto side. Overall, service is very attentive and friendly pretty seamless. The ambience is vibrant and the design of the space is pretty cool with a huge light installation, very open space, high high ceilings. Great place for a group outing fun place to people watch and have some drinks.

The food was excellent, but I found the prices too high. The staff was initially mediocre until I asked for the bill. Instead of the final bill, I was initially only given a subtotal receipt. I asked for a catering receipt, but was told in a somewhat unfriendly tone that I would only receive it after payment. After payment, the receipt was actually handed to me. I find it problematic that they initially only give me a subtotal receipt. Immediately afterward, we went to the bar. There, too, I only received a subtotal receipt when paying. I didn't explicitly ask for an invoice and ultimately only received the subtotal receipt. I have reported this practice to the responsible tax office.

This is a really cool place! The building and its furnishings alone are very impressive. The bar staff work hard and clearly have a lot of fun together. They also serve delicious cocktails!

expensive puddles, service on the bar is a bit condescendingly but the interior and the vibes are amazing. Ive been there for the island universe party so the 70/80s vibes fit. the crowd was chill, a mix of DJs and friends of the owners such as tourists. but in the end everyone outside talked about the same topic (drugs)

The KINK as always, one of the greatest and most beautiful locations in Berlin. The service is absolutely top notch, rarely experienced like this! Our hosts Nico, Yannick and Germanos gave us a wonderful evening. Thank you for the lovely experience.

Today I got to eat at Kink with my husband and it was a real treat in every way. The service was absolutely first class - from the start we were pampered with the utmost professionalism, attentiveness, relaxedness and friendliness. Nico, Yannick and Germanos looked after us with a lot of charm and expertise, which made the entire evening even more pleasant. The culinary experience was simply exceptional. The octopus and ox cheek we chose were of the highest quality and expertly prepared. The octopus was incredibly tender - like butter - and perfectly seasoned, with a smoky note, while the ox cheek was a true delicacy with its delicate texture and intense flavor. It was a feast for the senses! After dinner we went to the bar, where the highest level of artistry was at work. The cocktails tasted perfectly together. The bartenders here are great too! The restaurant is a real gem where both the food and service are of an exceptionally high standard. An all-round successful experience that we would be happy to repeat.

A real recommendation for everyone who values ​​quality and a relaxed atmosphere. The service was extremely friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We had a lovely evening last night at Kink. The place is warm, tastefully decorated, the staff are attentive and friendly, and the choice of food and drink is wide and of high quality. The hype surrounding this place is not usurped.

The many good reviews made us curious and so we visited the Kink. It was a great evening, everything went well. What should be highlighted is the great service, super nice and incredibly attentive. The food was sensational, new and innovative. And the ambience really suited our taste. We also really liked the attached bar and were able to end the lovely evening there perfectly. Any time :-)

Was für ein tolles Erlebnis - unser Besuch im KINK war fantastisch. Hervorzuhebn ist der extrem freundliche Service, vom ersten Moment an fühlt man sich willkommen und gut aufgehoben. Das Essen war innovativ und voller frischer Ideen. Es hat hervorragend geschmeckt. Das KINK war für uns eine Entdeckung und wir kommen definitiv wieder.

An all-round successful evening. Both the restaurant and the bar have a really great atmosphere. Separation is a good concept. Restaurant: The food is super tasty and the menu is very harmonious. The wines recommended with the dishes fit perfectly (beef cheeks and Nieport Vertente were a 10/10 match, as was the wild octopus with the Riesling Silberberg). The whole bottle wine list also has some nice treasures. The service was also 10/10. Bear: After dinner we sat down in the bar. There are some nice own creations on the menu, but also a classic like the Old Cuban was very good. The service was also very attentive.

The food was tasty and the service both wheb booking and when in restaurant was very friendly.The only negative part was the fact that 10% tip had been added,without being asked first.The service was very good,but was just strange to have that automatically.Maybe it is the policy of the restaurant and I was just not aware.

Went to this restaurant a year ago and while it was lovely, this time the experience was very disappointing. The main dishes options were very limited and the only beef available was awful. Super greasy. Also, it took a long time for the food to arrive and it was even served on a broken plate. Even after we left our entire plates, no one from the restaurant asked if we liked or if anything went wrong. Poor customer experience. The table was very close to other tables, which is different from the previous time. Drinks were good, the starters were good.

Rude staff asked us to leave... My girlfriend and I went to Kink and we left feeling humiliated and angry. The staff in the bar are extremely rude - we were asked to leave for 'not drinking fast enough', even though we had already had a meal in the restaurant with drinks. Our experience in the restaurant was good, we had a nice meal (the food was good, if expensive), and the service was relaxed and friendly. We enjoyed ourselves, so we decided to go to the bar for a cocktail after dinner. It turned out that was a mistake. After being made to wait in a dark corner under the stairs for a table, we were seated upstairs. We ordered cocktails (for 11 euros each) and were happily enjoying them. We'd already had a bottle of wine with the meal, so we weren't guzzling the drinks, but we were not sitting there for hours either. A waiter then approached us and asked us to pay and leave, because we were 'blocking the table and not drinking enough.' We argued, but he wouldn't budge from this position even after we explained that we'd already eaten a meal in the restaurant. We complained to other staff in the bar, who seemed sympathetic, but who ultimately did nothing about it. No new table, no apology, no money off the bill. Overall, Kink has a decent-but-expensive restaurant attached to an overpriced bar, with try-hard cocktails, and rude staff. There are better places to spend your money, and I'll not be calling back.

We have celebrated new year eve yesterday and music, bar, atmosphere, staff and most importantly people are great, great and great! Kink is become our Berliner spot for our next visits! They have very lovely garden where we watched fireworks and enjoying seating outside! We loved the place!

Das Essen hat uns nicht überzeugt, das nächste Mal lieber Qualität statt Quantität. Unsere Hauptspeise wurde verwechselt. Aber die Bedienung war sehr nett und zuvorkommend - das Highlight des Abends. Die Musik auf der Party danach war sehr enttäuschend, weswegen wir früh nach Hause gingen. Preis-Leistung insgesamt überteuert. Wir kommen an einem regulären Tag eventuell wieder ins Restaurant, aber für einen speziellen Anlass wie Silvester würden wir es nicht empfehlen und auch nicht wiederholen.

KINK ofrece platos únicos, elaborados creativamente y presentados en un ambiente cómodo, relajado y tranquilo (definitivamente vienen - como - usted - son). Los ingredientes locales y salvajes son muy destacados. El camarero y el servidor ofrecieron maridajes inventivos de cócteles con cada plato que verdaderamente agregaron sabor al plato. El personal es muy bien informado, y muy amable. Tal vez no es sorprendente en Berlín, KINK es queer - amigable.

The bartender and server offered inventive pairings of cocktails with each course that truly added to the flavors of the dish. The staff are highly knowledgeable, and very friendly. Perhaps not surprising in Berlin, KINK is queer-friendly.

After a few minutes it was clear to me: that's 5 stars! The restaurant is in a beautiful location, even when it rains you can come here. At the entrance you are greeted nicely and your coats are taken off. Then we were escorted upstairs, the atmosphere is chic but still very relaxed, warm and friendly. The service is professional, friendly and attentive. The food can't be beat! Bread with lemon together with aperitifs that you can't even describe, just enjoy, unfortunately almost too little! A special taste that had to be noticed across all courses. I'm sure it doesn't matter what you eat, everything is just very special. The beef cheeks were so tender! The duck was a delight! The risotto and the antipasti broccoli and oergine are very tasty but the best thing here was the lamb!! The wine was delicious and the dessert was also very good! It wasn't exactly cheap (around 100 euros per person) but the price-performance ratio was definitely right!

Fantastische Atmosphäre Sehr leckeres Essen und Drinks Tolle Weine

Die Bedienung hinterm Tresen war schrecklich unfreundlich. Wir wollten noch ein paar Drinks nehmen, es war spät, dennoch noch gut besucht. Uns wurde mitgeteilt, dass wir nur bleiben könnten, wenn wir Champagner bestellen- wir wollten aber lieber Cocktails….also mussten wir gehen. Nie wieder, unfreundliches Personal braucht kein Mensch!

First time dining here during my first trip to Berlin. Overall positive experience. Had the oysters, lamb, broccolini, and octopus. The wine pairing was perfect and our server was helpful. We went to the bar next door afterwards and had a great old fashioned.

Es war wieder ein sehr schöner Abend 🤩 wir hatten die erste Gans dieses Jahr und sie war vorzüglich und zart. Dazu leckerer Rotkohl und knuspriger Wirsing: ein weihnachtlicher Genuß! Die aufmerksame Bedienung umsorgte uns liebevoll. Auch den alkoholfreien Sparkling mit seinem zarten Bukett, können wir sehr empfehlen. Danke 💕 an das ganze Team, wir kommen bald wieder!

I didn't go there for the food, but my guests liked the food and the restaurant so much. I joined my friends in drinking wine. It had a nice ambiance and after the meal we went to the area where we could have drinks and it was a much better place. Meanwhile, the DJ was playing very good music. The DJ and his girlfriend were also very polite and friendly. A place I would like to visit again when I visit Berlin.

Bin im Restaurant gesessen, nicht in der Bar. Wirklich gute, kreative, einfallsreiche Küche. Sehr nettes, aufmerksames Personal. Tolle, angenehme Atmosphäre. Fast ein bisschen New-York-Flair.

We were here recently and I have to say I really enjoyed it. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was very nice and the food was also very good. Everything was a bit more expensive than elsewhere but it was worth it for us.

Fantastic place, architecturaly very Berlin, with different ambiances. We spent 300€ for 2 in the restaurant, and we were served by 6 persons. We then went to the bar and we got ripped off, but after talking to management they admitted their mistakes and gave the drink money back. Still, 300€ for food for 2 is a bit in the high end... but some dishes were noticeable, like the oysters and the octopus legs.

The atmosphere is great and the food is good (we were there in a group and opinions on the food were a bit divided, the vegetarian menu didn't really convince some people). Unfortunately the service leaves a lot to be desired. If you order Cuba Libre without ice (the drink otherwise consists almost entirely of ice), then you actually only get a half-full glass served - on the grounds that the drink was calculated with ice and then it's just a half-sized glass without ice gives! So that's really cheeky. For the last course there were chocolates, but unfortunately there weren't enough left, so not everyone got 3 chocolates, but only 1-2 - that didn't change the price of the menu. There is no flexibility when it comes to cocktails, so you can't order a Caipirinha or Mai Tai. Would I come back? No!
