The food didn't taste like Mexican food at all, and well, that could be overlooked if the food had been good, but the chicken tasted like it had gone bad, and in general everything tasted bad.

We visited the Cancún restaurant in Kreuzberg on December 22, 2025, and were completely satisfied. The ambiance is very pleasant and inviting; you immediately feel at ease. The food was truly delicious: I had nachos as a starter and the Enchilada del Pollo as a main course – both were exceptionally flavorful and freshly prepared. A particularly positive aspect is that they readily accommodate special requests. My request for a cheese-free version was met with a friendly response and perfectly executed. The service was attentive and warm without being intrusive. Overall, a very enjoyable visit with good food and a relaxed atmosphere. I would gladly return and can definitely recommend Cancún Kreuzberg! 🌮✨

Great atmosphere, rich and delicious selection, but terrible and smelly toilets

Disappointing. Aside from the names of a few Mexican dishes, it has nothing to do with authentic Mexican cuisine. The flavors are bland, the dishes don’t follow traditional recipes, and the atmosphere doesn’t convey the true vibe of a Mexican restaurant. As for the service, the experience was just as unprofessional: slow, inattentive, and with very little engagement from the staff. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for a genuinely Mexican experience.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My absolute favorite Mexican restaurant in Berlin! I was at Cancun on Mehringdamm again – and it was, as always, sensationally delicious! The dishes are fresh, perfectly seasoned, and simply a delight. On top of that, the incredibly friendly and warm service makes every visit special. You always feel welcome here and leave happy and satisfied. 🌮❤️ Highly recommended – I'll definitely be back!

The staff were extremely unfriendly. We were told to go outside for a smoke, so we did, standing about 10 meters away with our drinks. Then the waiter came up to us in a very aggressive tone and yelled at us: "We should finish our drinks and leave immediately, and have we never been to a restaurant before?" I have never been treated so disrespectfully by any staff member before.

The atmosphere is pleasant, but the nachos taste very bland compared to other Cancun locations. If you ask for a small sip of juice with your mixed drink because the mix ratio is too strong, you're charged €2.50. It's outrageous! Normally, they offer to make drinks from scratch, but not here. That's a shame. I'd recommend the Cancun Mariendorf restaurant; the atmosphere, service, and food are all excellent.

I’m sorry, since this place had a 4,8 with 1,300 reviews. I thought this would be good. But it was absolutely not authentic tacos and not that good. This was a ”German” tacos and the service was terrible. I’m sorry, but not good at all.

Portions were far too small. The wait was so long. The food took an hour to arrive. The taste was bland.

The mediocre food wasnt worth the nearly 2 hours , that we waited for it. The beautiful atmosphere sadly didnt comepnsate for the poor service.

The vegan meat is pure vegetables coated in breadcrumbs. Payment arrangements are completely nonexistent. The ambiance was just about bearable.

Portions were small. We went there as a large group and our table of 6 was ignored (we literally ordered the drinks after everyone was done eating.) Our food was rushed and not made the same for each one, although we had the same dish four times. Our table's food was in a very poor quality compared to the other table's. One of us got spicy salsa, three got literal tomato sauce. We got very different amount of sauces. There was also basically no cheese in our quesadilas. Sadly the joyful atmospjere was overshadowed by the poor service. Generally it wasn't worth my time and money🥲. (It took 2.5 hours)

Smooth, rich, and expertly balanced, with just the right amount of espresso bitterness cutting through the sweetness. The creamy texture made each sip feel like a tiny celebration in a glass, and the three little coffee beans on top weren’t just decorative, they were the perfect accent to every sip. We were so impressed that we both ordered a second round immediately, and honestly, it didn’t disappoint. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Neither of us speak German fluently, but they went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, double-checking our orders and even chatting with us despite the language barrier. It added such a warm, human touch to the whole evening. The atmosphere itself was lively but cozy, perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing while gearing up for the night ahead. We found ourselves laughing, sharing stories, and soaking in the energy of the place, all while enjoying one of the best espresso martinis either of us have ever had. If you’re in Berlin and looking for perfect cocktails, an inviting vibe, and genuinely friendly service, this spot is a must. We left with happy hearts, caffeinated spirits, and a definite plan to return before we left the city. Truly an unforgettable start to a Berlin night.

The chicken with pineapple is terrible. They only use frozen products and it has no flavor at all. The nachos, which are so simple to make, have no flavor whatsoever. A total disappointment. 0/10

Sorry, but I don't understand all the positive reviews. There was nothing authentically Mexican about the food, neither the mixed appetizer nor the main course. I had tacos that were simply flimsy. You couldn't really taste the seasoning. The service was nice, but that's not enough for me to recommend the restaurant.

Tried to charge me for an extra tortilla when they initially brought more meat than shells provided? Side note: don’t order the tacos - just tortilla pittas with meat, no cilantro tomato nothing. Atmosphere is nice though so there’s that

My drink was quite watery. But then the waiter yelled at me because I had to pay with a card for something under €10. By that point, I'd already been ignored by two waiters for more than 15 minutes. I actually wanted to order another drink, but I also work in the restaurant industry, and it's not the customers' job to find out about the minimum card amounts at different establishments. That's the staff's job. Blaming a customer for their own mistake is a disgrace. But the outdoor seating was great.

Located in a lively area on Mehringdamm in Kreuzberg, this hotspot is a great place to sit and watch the hustle and bustle. The food was good and the service friendly. I'd be happy to go back.

It's okay, but unfortunately, it's rather American. Almost nothing here is authentic. But if you're in the mood for junk food topped with cheese, this is the place for you!

The food was poor, with lots of fried convenience food. The chicken was tough and dry, and the fries were dry. Service was good, and the starter was served with the main course.

It's a shame that people get tricked so brazenly. We specifically asked if the dish came with three sauces. The waitress assured us that it did. The dish came with two sauces, and we naturally ordered the third because we thought it had been forgotten, only to find out at the end that we had been charged extra for it. Unfortunately, the waitress couldn't care less. The bill was only given upon request, and without a tax number. It unfortunately ruined the evening and the meal.

Super delicious vegetarian burrito (Burrito de Verduras) and really filling, with lots of beans, cheese, and exceptionally good guacamole! The atmosphere is great too. Highly recommended!

Okay, honest opinion: Those 4.9 stars make me suspicious because the reality is that it's not that great. It tastes like Indian food, you know, too much of that typical Indian spice. I can't say the food tastes bad, but it's not great either. Also, to pay, you have to go into the corner of the restaurant to pay by card. But anyway, 3/5 stars.

Great atmosphere and drinks place! I wasn’t sure about the food and service… at first the staff forgot about our order so we sat with our drinks for 30mins, and drank on empty stomach. Then they let us know the order was forgotten, when we got the food I was confused because the fajitas and tacos were served same way, which I’m not used to. Then the server dropped food on my purse. While this is ok, this should not be the standard for service However the drinks were fantastic, amaretto sour was absolutely delicious. Cosmo was a little too sweet but so well made. Will be back for cocktails and vibe

I would recommend it again anytime. The food and service were really good. The only funny thing was that the waiter asked the table next to us about a Google review. They obviously didn't think we were capable of it.

On a Saturday night, there are two terraces, one overlooking the street and one overlooking the courtyard. We were on the courtyard. It was lively because there was a group of at least 10 people celebrating a birthday party. The meal was generous; the tacos came with a piece of taco and three fajitas, as mentioned on the menu. It was tasty but heavy. The service was pleasant.

Something is off about this place. We went there for the good reviews but once we arrived: 1) The atmosphere was dead compared to other places 2) customers all seemed a bit unsatisfied, and the table next to us returned their dish 3) a lot of full plates being taken away from tables 4) my wife had a really bad stomach ache after ordering the Bailey's colada. After all of this, we ended up not ordering any food and left the place after a drink. Not recommended at all! Much better places all around Xberg.

The waiter yesterday was very unfriendly. We were a group of 15 people and wanted to eat inside because it was cold. He said he had to clean the room twice, which made him angry. I don't recommend this restaurant because of the very poor service.

My wife and I visited this restaurant last night. We really enjoyed the atmosphere. My wife ordered ribs with side dishes, and she was quite satisfied. I opted for pork fillet strips in peanut sauce with side dishes! The peanut sauce could have been better! My peanut sauce tasted considerably better! Nevertheless, it tasted good, and the plates were beautifully presented! The other dishes at the neighboring tables also looked very good. We'll be back.

Was there last evening. Honestly the best Mexican food i have eaten in a long time. It was perfectly spiced and fresh. Ordered a mango daiquiri and it was absolutely delightful fruity cold and a perfect drink on a hot summer evening. The service was brilliant. our server was very prompt, kind and friendly. Will definitely come back to try more stuff again next time.

I'm giving it 5 stars because otherwise they'll delete it immediately. But let's be honest: it's not authentic at all, it's super expensive, and it doesn't really taste good.

We visited on a very quiet Sunday evening and specifically chose this place based on its high rating on Google. The food, although not totally authentic was close enough and was very tasty! There were only three groups in the restaurant, us included. The setting was dark and intimate although we did struggle reading the menu. The food portion sizes are enormous! The cocktails were very good. We paid with through card and although the waiter was a little deflated when we asked, they were happy with this. We asked if we could put a tip on but they don’t seem to get the tip if it’s on a card so we handed over a couple of notes. He really worked hard for us together with his fellow waiters. I’d say go for it!
