Cancún Kreuzberg in Berlin

We visited on a very quiet Sunday evening and specifically chose this place based on its high rating on Google. The food, although not totally authentic was close enough and was very tasty! There were only three groups in the restaurant, us included. The setting was dark and intimate although we did struggle reading the menu. The food portion sizes are enormous! The cocktails were very good. We paid with through card and although the waiter was a little deflated when we asked, they were happy with this. We asked if we could put a tip on but they don’t seem to get the tip if it’s on a card so we handed over a couple of notes. He really worked hard for us together with his fellow waiters. I’d say go for it!

I visited this restaurant a year ago and I gave a not so good but honest review. Now I got an email from Google stating my review was defamatory and it’s now pending… so the reviews on this restaurant are no longer based on the truth. Just a warning

Very nice looking restaurant but the food is so meh: stale chips, feta instead of cotilla cheese, broken cold corn tortillas. I ordered an ensalada de atun, and instead of a tuna filet, I got canned tuna with French dressing. 🫤 Won't go back again.

Service was very slow (took almost an hour). Card machine was not working either. On top of that, they wanted tips

The cocktail was great, but the service wasn't good at all! We were charged more than we ordered! Bar itself isn't nice either. I wouldn't visit again!

We came with a big group wich was not a problem. The food was absolutely amazing and not expensive! We had a great night and ate very good. But Some of the staff members were very rude. Some people of the group were still choosing on what to eat, but the waiter was forcing him to choose fast. When we asked the bill he was upset, then we got free shots. But when we got the bill he was forcing us to give him a very large tip wich was unconfortabel. Great food but the service is rubbish.

We have to say that this restaurant is far better than a Salza in Rostock, for example. So Toi Toi, the food is very tasty and you can't go wrong here.

I have never encountered such a rude waiter in Berlin. When guiding me to my seat, he suddenly stopped in the middle of the aisle to chat with other guests, completely ignoring that I was stuck behind him. I had to awkwardly stand by someone else’s table and wait for him to finish his conversation. When my friend and I were paying the bill, we said we wanted to pay by card. As soon as we said that, his attitude completely changed. After we paid, he just threw the receipt on the table and walked away, as if paying by card was an offense. If you don’t accept card payments, put up a sign at the entrance or at least inform your customers politely. As a random customer, I do not need to deal with your sudden mood swings. If you have issues with your job, take them up with your boss, not your guests. And if you struggle with emotional management, please seek professional help.

Very good food and drinks. A nice waiter advised us on the order and brought us a larger drink for the price of a small one because there was a happy hour that we didn't know about. I will be happy to go back there again

had a really surprisingly nice evening. I spontaneously returned with my family on the occasion of my birthday without any expectations. It was an extraordinarily warm atmosphere. The service man was very concerned about our well-being. In my honor, sparklers were used and Stevie Wonder was played. people clapped. As I said. Very nice evening, little vacation thanks to the atmosphere in the neighborhood. Thanks nomma and I'll definitely come back.

Service was truly incredible here. Very sweet staff and we received a free aperitif at the end of the meal and that was the cherry on top. Solid nachos and good tasting burger as well. If you want a great place for a drink, frozen or not, and a good meal, this is a nice go to that’s very close to public transport

Not a place for traditional Mexican food. For example, the starter plate consisted of chicken nuggets and mozzarella sticks. It's more for the evening, when you're drinking cocktails and want some finger food. A bit too expensive for over €18 for a main course.

The two of us went for a cocktail in Cancún. The cocktails were delicious and the service was very friendly. Because of the happy hour, these were rather cheap in terms of price. :) Card payment was possible, but tips could only be accepted in cash.

Really good Food. The Service is funny and entertaining and really good.

I don't understand the good reviews here. The store was half empty and the service was still disastrous. No one comes by despite repeated requests. The young waiters hardly speak any German and are amateurs. The cocktails had almost no alcohol and we had to have vodka poured in. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend the store and will not spend another evening here.

Tolles mexikanisches Essen - auch spät am Abend noch offene Küche und netter Service. Wir kommen gerne wieder beim nächsten Berlin-Aufenthalt.

We had such a nice evening in Cancun Kreuzberg. Very cozy atmosphere, super delicious food... a large selection with good price-performance ratio, everything very appetizingly prepared and, above all, hot. But the great thing was the service...we were looked after so kindly and warmly...a big thank you for that. We will definitely come back and are looking forward to it.
