Cancún Kreuzberg in Berlin

Ich hatte einen fantastischen Abend am Mehringdamm. Das Essen war durchweg köstlich und wirklich liebevoll angerichtet. Besonders die frische Guacamole auf meinem Teller war ein absoluter Genuss und hat perfekt zu den warmen Speisen gepasst. Das Ambiente im Restaurant ist sehr einladend und sorgt sofort für gute Laune. Man fühlt sich als Gast richtig wohl und willkommen. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder, um mich durch den Rest der Karte zu probieren.

Das Essen hat nicht geschmeckt. Wir waren sehr hungrig, bereuen es aber jetzt sehr. Es war lächerlich.

Mich hat geärgert, dass wir uns hingesetzt haben, etwas bestellt haben und als wir die Drinks hatten der Kellner sagte sie schließen in 6 Minuten. Ich dachte zuerst er meint die Küche schließt und ob wir noch etwas bestellen wollen, aber er sagte die ganze Bar wird geschlossen. Wir haben unsere Getränke deshalb nicht geschafft. Ich verstehe es, dass der Laden auch mal zu macht, aber hier hätte ich vor dem Bestellen einen Hinweis auf die baldige Schließung gewünscht, denn ich bestelle ja nicht Cocktails um sie möglichst schnell zu exen. Ich kenne es auch von jedem Restaurant so, dass man darauf hingewiesen wird, dass bald geschlossen wird, bevor man bestellt. 17€ für Drinks von denen wir nichts hatten.

Schönes Lokal, guter Service, gutes Essen.

Absolut tolles Ambiente, super liebe und aufmerksame Mitarbeiter und das Essen war Spitze.

Wir hatten nur Cocktails, aber die waren sehr gut. Happy Hour mit 5,90 pro Getränk ist amazing. Vorsicht: nur ausgewählte Getränke mitinbegriffen.

Die Inder brauchen zu lange für mein Cocktail bei Gott kein Spaß nie wieder hier chicken masala is aber ganz ok

Ich hatte es eilig, aber das aufmerksame Personal sorgte für einen schnellen Service. Hervorragendes Essen und Cocktails, perfekte Lage, sehr nettes Personal.

Sehr sehr nett und freundlich. Wir kamen mit einer Gruppe mit Menschen mit Behinderung und wurden super freundlich empfangen und bedient. Das ist nicht immer so. Kommen gerne wieder.

Das Essen war geschmacklich hervorragend, jedoch die Steakstreifen sehr zäh. Die Bedienung war doch recht kühl reserviert. Da gibt es auf jeden Fall noch Luft nach oben.

Ehrlich gesagt hatte ich etwas Besseres erwartet, es bestand größtenteils aus Paprika, das Rindfleisch hätte länger köcheln müssen, damit es weich und nicht hart wie Gummi wird.

Wir waren nicht ganz happy. Restaurant sieht toll aus und wir haben ohne Reservierung einen Platz bekommen. Leider eher Tex-Mex, keine authentische mexikanische Küche. Es gab nur Weizentortillas, keine Maistortillas. Essen okay, aber nichts besonderes. Wir wollten authentische Küche, das kleine authentische mexikanische Restaurant in der Nähe hatte leider keine Kapazitäten mehr, daher waren wir mit der Alternative ein bißchen enttäuscht.

Die Cocktails sind wirklich sehr gut und preiswert. Die Gerichte sind sehr reichhaltig und ebenfalls ausgezeichnet. Im Speisesaal ist es laut.

Gutes Ambiente ohne übertriebenen Schnickschnack, präsent-freundlicher und zugleich zurückhaltender Service und dazu wirklich gute mexikanische Küche - uns hat es sehr gut gefallen!

Lecker und freundlich dort, aber ohne Bezug zur mexikanischen Küche. Meine vegane Bowl* schmeckte nach einem typisch mediterranem, gemischten Salat (Rucola) mit sweet Onion Dressing und Balsamico?! Die Avocado und Jalapeño führten nicht dazu, dass es nach Südamerika schmeckt. Meine Begleitung hatte Beef Tacos bestellt, die eher nach Chop Suey angerichtet waren. Auch bei Gericht #2 also leider ein Fehlgriff. Das ganze Ambiente wirkte eher wie eine billige Cocktailbar, trotz des umfangreichen Menüs. Leider nicht zu empfehlen, wenn man authentisch speisen möchte. *einzig vegan gelabeltes Gericht

Sehr großzügige Portionen in diesem mexikanischen Restaurant. Ich habe dort spät abends noch etwas gegessen und war ziemlich hungrig... Ich hatte die Tacos Cancun. Köstliche Cocktails!

Köstliches mexikanisches Essen. Riesige Auswahl an Gerichten. Ich kann die Enchiladas mit Hähnchen oder die Fajitas mit Rindfleisch wärmstens empfehlen! Nachos sind auch eine tolle Vorspeise!

Essen war nicht besonders, eher langweilig, hatte mir mehr typisch mexikanisch erhofft.

Personal sehr freundlich, leider standen leere Teller und Gläser zu lang rum. Teilweise haben wir diese gestapelt. Die Nachfrage nach neuen Getränken war zu langsam.

Essen überteuert für die kleine Menge, Fleisch schmeckt nach Fisch, Musik wollten sie nicht leiser machen weshalb man sich nicht unterhalten konnte wir mussten uns schon anschreien. Nicht empfehlenswert

Ein sehr solides Mexikanisches Restaurant mit toller Optik! Das Essen ist lecker gewesen - probiert haben wir einen Hack-Buritto und die Hähnchen-Fajitas. Portionen groß, Saucen abwechslungsreich und das Personal ganz nett. Das Ambiente aber war sehr gelungen, tolle Einrichtung, schöne Wände und dadurch eine sehr einladende Atmosphäre! Auch der Cappuccino hinterher war gut - lediglich den Kakao kann ich nicht empfehlen. Aber wirklich eine sehr vernünftige Adresse um mexikanisch zu essen!

Es war fantastisch! Mein erster Besuch in Berlin und dieses Restaurant hat mich so herzlich empfangen, genau wie eine Brasilianerin hier. Das Essen war super und ich war total begeistert von der Gastfreundschaft. Danke, Cancún! 🩷

The pollo con piña tastes only like salad dressing, as you can see from the photo where the sauce covers the entire dish. The pineapple flavor is nonexistent, with only two very tiny pieces present. For a restaurant that claims to be Mexican, this is very disappointing. If you don’t know how to prepare you should avoid putting it on the menu. - DE - Das Pollo con Piña schmeckt nur nach Salatdressing, wie man auf dem Foto sehen kann, da die Soße das ganze Gericht bedeckt. Der Ananasgeschmack ist nicht vorhanden, es gibt nur zwei sehr kleine Stücke. Für ein Restaurant, das sich als mexikanisch bezeichnet, ist das sehr enttäuschend.

Absoulut enttäuscht sowohl in Hinsicht auf Service als auch der Getränke und Speisen. Qualität und Serviceschwinidkeit absoulut schlecht.

Auf die Vorspeisenplatte musste ich 2 Stunden warten. Das Ergebnis war eine uninspiriertere Variante eines KidsMenus. Der Martini war eine verdünnte Wermutsuppe und der Espresso Martini ein kalter Kaffee mit ein bisschen Alkohol. Generell waren die Wartzeiten unerträglich und der Service abweisend.

Schlechter Service, lange Wartezeiten, wässriger und schlecht schmeckende Cocktails. Ein Mal besucht und dann nie wieder. Unbedingt meiden! Der Espresso Martini schmeckt wie abgestandener Kaffee.

Nettes mexikanisches Restaurant

Es war extrem kalt dort bei unserem Besuch! Das Essen war in Ordnung, der Kellner sehr aufmerksam.

Update Febr. 2026. Diesmal waren wir im Restaurant. Draussen sind es -4°C. Drin war es relativ frisch. An den Speisen hat sich nichts geändert. Alles war lecker. Ich fand die Beleuchtung recht dunkel aber gemütlich. Sommer 2025. Sehr gut ist die eigene Wasserbefüllungsanlage. Das ist sehr umweltfreundlich und vorbildlich. Wir waren an einem sommer Abend im Garten. Die Speisen (Nr 58) waren sehr lecker. Das Ambiente ist sehr stimmig. Die bedienung sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir kommen wieder.

Leider waren wir enttäuscht. 1. war es sehr kalt in dem Laden, groß und ungeheizt bei einer Außentemperatur von -6 Grad. Wir hatten Spareribs, die waren leider zäh, haben sich kaum vom Knochen gelöst. Der bestellte Roséwein war billigste Ware. Das restliche Essen war durchschnittlich, hatte aber mit Texmex leider wenig zu tun. Der Service bestand aus vielen freundlichen Indern oder Pakistani(?), die mit mexikanischer Küche nix am Hut haben.

Tolles mexikanisches Restaurant mit authentischer Küche! Die Gerichte sind frisch, geschmackvoll und sehr gut gewürzt. Besonders die Tacos und Burritos überzeugen mit hochwertigen Zutaten und traditionellen Aromen. Der Service ist freundlich und aufmerksam, und die Atmosphäre ist gemütlich und einladend.

Das Essen schmeckte überhaupt nicht nach mexikanischem Essen, und nun ja, das könnte man ja noch verzeihen, wenn das Essen gut gewesen wäre, aber das Hähnchen schmeckte, als wäre es verdorben, und im Allgemeinen schmeckte alles schlecht.

We visited the Cancún restaurant in Kreuzberg on December 22, 2025, and were completely satisfied. The ambiance is very pleasant and inviting; you immediately feel at ease. The food was truly delicious: I had nachos as a starter and the Enchilada del Pollo as a main course – both were exceptionally flavorful and freshly prepared. A particularly positive aspect is that they readily accommodate special requests. My request for a cheese-free version was met with a friendly response and perfectly executed. The service was attentive and warm without being intrusive. Overall, a very enjoyable visit with good food and a relaxed atmosphere. I would gladly return and can definitely recommend Cancún Kreuzberg! 🌮✨

Great atmosphere, rich and delicious selection, but terrible and smelly toilets

Disappointing. Aside from the names of a few Mexican dishes, it has nothing to do with authentic Mexican cuisine. The flavors are bland, the dishes don’t follow traditional recipes, and the atmosphere doesn’t convey the true vibe of a Mexican restaurant. As for the service, the experience was just as unprofessional: slow, inattentive, and with very little engagement from the staff. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for a genuinely Mexican experience.

The dishes are fresh, perfectly seasoned, and simply a delight. On top of that, the incredibly friendly and warm service makes every visit special. You always feel welcome here and leave happy and satisfied. 🌮❤️ Highly recommended – I'll definitely be back!

The staff were extremely unfriendly. We were told to go outside for a smoke, so we did, standing about 10 meters away with our drinks. Then the waiter came up to us in a very aggressive tone and yelled at us: "We should finish our drinks and leave immediately, and have we never been to a restaurant before?" I have never been treated so disrespectfully by any staff member before.

The atmosphere is pleasant, but the nachos taste very bland compared to other Cancun locations. If you ask for a small sip of juice with your mixed drink because the mix ratio is too strong, you're charged €2.50. It's outrageous! Normally, they offer to make drinks from scratch, but not here. That's a shame. I'd recommend the Cancun Mariendorf restaurant; the atmosphere, service, and food are all excellent.

I’m sorry, since this place had a 4,8 with 1,300 reviews. I thought this would be good. But it was absolutely not authentic tacos and not that good. This was a ”German” tacos and the service was terrible. I’m sorry, but not good at all.

We celebrated my brother-in-law's 50th birthday. Super friendly, efficient staff, beautifully presented, delicious dishes. We enjoyed being your guests. Keep up the good work, you're fantastic!

Portions were far too small. The wait was so long. The food took an hour to arrive. The taste was bland.

The mediocre food wasnt worth the nearly 2 hours , that we waited for it. The beautiful atmosphere sadly didnt comepnsate for the poor service.

The vegan meat is pure vegetables coated in breadcrumbs. Payment arrangements are completely nonexistent. The ambiance was just about bearable.

Portions were small. We went there as a large group and our table of 6 was ignored (we literally ordered the drinks after everyone was done eating.) Our food was rushed and not made the same for each one, although we had the same dish four times. Our table's food was in a very poor quality compared to the other table's. One of us got spicy salsa, three got literal tomato sauce. We got very different amount of sauces. There was also basically no cheese in our quesadilas. Sadly the joyful atmospjere was overshadowed by the poor service. Generally it wasn't worth my time and money🥲. (It took 2.5 hours)

After a long day of exploring the streets, art, and hidden corners of Berlin, my friend and I stumbled upon this gem and instantly knew we’d found the perfect start to our night out. We were craving something a little indulgent, a little lively, and that’s exactly what we got with their espresso martinis. The drinks themselves were absolute perfection. Smooth, rich, and expertly balanced, with just the right amount of espresso bitterness cutting through the sweetness. The creamy texture made each sip feel like a tiny celebration in a glass, and the three little coffee beans on top weren’t just decorative, they were the perfect accent to every sip. We were so impressed that we both ordered a second round immediately, and honestly, it didn’t disappoint. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Neither of us speak German fluently, but they went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, double-checking our orders and even chatting with us despite the language barrier. It added such a warm, human touch to the whole evening. The atmosphere itself was lively but cozy, perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing while gearing up for the night ahead. We found ourselves laughing, sharing stories, and soaking in the energy of the place, all while enjoying one of the best espresso martinis either of us have ever had. If you’re in Berlin and looking for perfect cocktails, an inviting vibe, and genuinely friendly service, this spot is a must. We left with happy hearts, caffeinated spirits, and a definite plan to return before we left the city. Truly an unforgettable start to a Berlin night.

Sorry, but I don't understand all the positive reviews. There was nothing authentically Mexican about the food, neither the mixed appetizer nor the main course. I had tacos that were simply flimsy. You couldn't really taste the seasoning. The service was nice, but that's not enough for me to recommend the restaurant.

Tried to charge me for an extra tortilla when they initially brought more meat than shells provided? Side note: don’t order the tacos - just tortilla pittas with meat, no cilantro tomato nothing. Atmosphere is nice though so there’s that

Fine for a beer, but the chips and salsa are profoundly disappointing to me as a native of Southern California. But that's an incredibly high bar that a chain restaurant on a different continent isn't trying to hit.

My drink was quite watery. But then the waiter yelled at me because I had to pay with a card for something under €10. By that point, I'd already been ignored by two waiters for more than 15 minutes. I actually wanted to order another drink, but I also work in the restaurant industry, and it's not the customers' job to find out about the minimum card amounts at different establishments. That's the staff's job. Blaming a customer for their own mistake is a disgrace. But the outdoor seating was great.

Located in a lively area on Mehringdamm in Kreuzberg, this hotspot is a great place to sit and watch the hustle and bustle. The food was good and the service friendly. I'd be happy to go back.

It's okay, but unfortunately, it's rather American. Almost nothing here is authentic. But if you're in the mood for junk food topped with cheese, this is the place for you!

The food was poor, with lots of fried convenience food. The chicken was tough and dry, and the fries were dry. Service was good, and the starter was served with the main course.

It was my first time there and definitely won't be the last. It was SOOOOO delicious!
