Steak here is chewy. wine is fine. Recommend the octopus as an appetizer. The waiter was very busy on the weekend and never had time to serve us.

I was there today with my family for a birthday dinner. The tables were adequately set and the ambience gave the impression that the guests could feel comfortable. Because it was early in the day, the restaurant was not yet very busy, so the noise level was found to be pleasant. The service was of excellent quality. He was very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant staff explained everything to us and asked several times whether everything was to our satisfaction. The starters were very tasty and well decorated. The chef deserves special recognition. Due to a small mistake, we were immediately offered two desserts, which were also excellent. The portions of the main courses were comparatively generous, which initially surprised us. Three out of four dishes were extremely good, while one main course did not meet our expectations due to a misjudgment on our part. Overall it was a successful evening. We'd love to come back!

A restaurant with a great view and very friendly, attentive staff. Most of the dishes were excellent and tastefully prepared. The lamb shoulder in particular was tender and tasty, but unfortunately the accompanying side dishes were far too salty. Overall, a nice experience that we would like to repeat. 4.5/5

Great, interesting place and location. Directly on the banks of the Spree with a great view of the Oberbaum Bridge. The service is great and the food is very tasty. I visited this place for a closed event, so I can't comment on normal day-to-day operations.

The Rivo was recommended to me so my expectations were high. The ambience is very warm and pleasant. The service was courteous, attentive and friendly. The food is definitely not cheap, but it is worth the price. What bothered me a bit is that no Amuse Guele was served in the price range. I also didn't like the fact that there was only a simple baguette as a starter. There is clearly room for improvement. Nevertheless, I felt very comfortable.

Throughly enjoyed the dining experience at Rivo after a long train journey from Amsterdam The food was delicious and well executed. Furthermore, the service and atmosphere was lovely. All dishes were well seasoned and balanced with some great flavours. A must visit when in the area Tip- it’s worth booking online and you need to make a €30 euro reservation.

My absolute favorite restaurant! Mega great location right on the water, with a very nice atmosphere. Food is a 10/10, very tasty dishes and sometimes very unusual. What I can also highly recommend are the events One Night in RIVO or one day in RIVO, delicious food, really good music and a great atmosphere with a great view in the middle of Berlin. Best dinner & dance location in Berlin in my opinion!

Very tasty food, a bit expensive. View great. The main course was a bit small in portion. 3 courses are recommended. It would be best to label vegetarian and vegan. There are also very good non-alcoholic aperitifs and cocktails, unfortunately they are not directly on the menu so you have to ask first.

The food is so bad that one person gets 1 slice of beef of about 50g and their own salad, cheap drinks but having to pay almost €200 each person is crazy!!!

A very special experience in this restaurant. We were very satisfied. The environment in the public area could be better maintained by the “Green” district of Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg. The park and public sidewalks don't look good. The Rivo restaurant, on the other hand, is really very pleasant

Lovely place for a dinner with an amazing view. Food was delicious. Would definitely recommend the Zucchini Salad, Steak, Seafood Shakshouka and Brownie. Great Wine selection as well. The waiters were kind and friendly. Better to go enjoy the view before it gets dark. Mosquitoes arrived after it got dark :)

Wir wollten gern etwas neues kennenlernen und dabei gern auch das schöne Wetter genießen. So haben wir uns für einen Besuch im RIVO entschieden. Auf den letzten Metern des Weges kamen uns, aufgrund der Umgebung, zwar Zweifel, aber es war wirklich ein toller Abend. Eine wunderbare Atmosphäre, direkt am Wasser, zusammen mit wirklich tollem Service und sehr gutem Essen. Mehr braucht es nicht. Angemessene Preise, aber im höheren Bereich. Wir werden sehr gerne wiederkommen, auch wenn es vermutlich etwas dauern wird.

Locality and atmosphere are very good. Unfortunately, the food is not always, like last night. The starter and the main course were much too sour and unrecognizable due to the same dressing. The main course, 2 prawns and two pieces of fish were covered with a dollop of tomato sauce and lots of leafy parsley. A pity! This time the cuisine was not as good as we expected. The staff was apparently a little too overwhelmed, as "two topics" had to be served. (Lunch buffet followed by a party as well as the a la card restaurant. That shouldn't really be the case, unfortunately! The price wasn't justified this time.

Locality und Ambiente sehr gut, das Dinner nur mäßig, da die Vorspeise und die Hauptspeise mit gleichem, zu vielem Dressing aufbereitet wurde. Leider war beides nur säuerlich und nicht erkennbar, die Hauptspeise, 2 Garnelen und 2 Stückchen Fisch mit Tomatensoße und Blatt Petersilie übermäßig überdeckt. Diesmal leider keine gute , schmackhafte Küche, so wie wir es vom letzten Mal erwartet und bekommen hatten. Sehr Schade!

The meal was delicious as well as the view of the Spree. However, the service was deplorable... Servers were unfriendly and slow. When we wanted to order drinks, we asked her for a carafe of water and she/he immediately turned away and left to do other things... only to return 15 minutes later with our drinks. When paying the receipt we had to wait more than 20 minutes before someone deigned to see us... in short... a shame because this restaurant only has potential in the food and its location.

We celebrated our wedding at Rivo with 57 adults and 17 children. The event planner Franzi and the entire service staff were extremely professional, friendly and attentive. Our guests loved the excellent service and delicious food! The Rivo will always remain a magical place for us. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

We were there in July 23rd. Wonderful. The food was a dream. The ambience is hard to beat. The waiter, Alex, is super friendly, attentive and accommodating. Professional and simply Berlin. Although the view reminds me of Dublin, or Hamburg... Simply great!!Thank you. We will be back. Also from Hamburg again and again 😃 And now we are already looking forward to August 24!! Finally Berlin again, finally Rivo again. ❤️

We celebrated here with our wedding party in the evening and have to thank the Rivo team through and through. We were looked after very well right from the start and always had a nice contact person ready. The evening went absolutely smoothly. The food (a buffet for 45 people) was one of the finest dishes we have eaten this year and our guests are still raving about it today. 10/10 absolutely recommended

Dinner&Dance set a whole new benchmark yesterday thanks to Björn Krahl and his team and of course the location. It started straight away with the drinks, which were, by the way, very tasty. You just have to be there in time to enjoy your first drinks on the terrace with the great view of the water and the Oberbaum Bridge. Very nice. From a culinary point of view, it was just extremely good. Each of the 8 course menus was extremely tasty, extremely good quality and perfectly presented on the plates. In our opinion, the menu, the quality, the taste and the presentation came very close to star cuisine. The service was definitely star level. As far as I could tell, our waiter that evening was called Arti. We love good service and with the prices that are sometimes charged in the catering industry, we also insist on good service. Arti rounded off the culinary evening perfectly with his top service. Top professional, extremely polite and personable and doesn't show any signs of stress or anything else. Our special requests for the menus were also fulfilled, without any comments or arguments as to why something wasn't possible. The music afterwards, which came from a DJ, was also good. Overall, the guests were in a good party mood, thanks to that DJ. We can absolutely recommend the restaurant and the dinner and dance event. We will definitely be at the start of the next events. Food good, service professional and attentive, nice view of the Spree

We had a great evening at Rivo. The food and service were excellent and a positive experience in itself, in addition to the beautiful ambience. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back on our next visit. The only thing that could perhaps be done is with the background noise. But since everything was so wonderful, I don't want to detract from the overall experience. Of particular note is my chicken starter. Excellent.
