Restaurant was fully booked when we arrived but the lovely waiter found us a table which was free for an hour, plenty of time for us. We said we wanted steak and fish and left it to him. What a delight. The first was a full sea bream , served with home cooked chips and salad with lovely dressing. The steak was served medium rare, with octopus that melted in your mouth, salad and a few chips which were delicious. Never had such a delicious meal and would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone staying near Fruedrichstraat in Berlin. The waiter , sorry we didn’t get his name, very flamboyant, made our night. A credit to this restaurant

Super gaaf restaurant, heel sfeervol en in ‘berlin’ stijl ingericht. Echt heel uniek maar wel heel gezellig. Het eten was echt fantastisch en de bediening was goed! Zeker een aanrader! Wij hadden een reservering via TheFork geplaatst.

First of all: The visit to the pantry was outstanding! We were greeted very, very warmly and were accompanied in a friendly and courteous manner throughout our stay. The atmosphere is very stylish and cozy at the same time. You immediately feel comfortable! And the food topped it all off. A super varied menu that made it really difficult to choose. The quality and taste of the food was excellent, both meat and seafood. The combination of flavors created an explosion on the tongue. Thank you for the great evening!

Informal but also slightly chique. Proper cocktailshaker/bartender and waiters. And the food was perfect.

Were here for dinner on August 19th, 2024, the day before our silver wedding anniversary. It was simply one of the best things we have ever eaten. The service was simply sensational, friendly, attentive and always with a relaxed attitude on the lips without seeming intrusive. The food was a dream, starter beef tataki, simply indescribable, melts in your mouth 😋😋😋 The 500g scampi was a poem, the sauce was slightly spicy but not too hot, exactly to the point. Luckily it was too much for my wife, there was still some left for me 😉 My sirloin steak with pulpo was super juicy, the meat still had a bite, but that's how it has to be. Finally, the chocolate dessert “ Death By Chocolate” was really the icing on the cake. Fluffy, extremely creamy chocolate ice cream, the still warm chocolate cake and the mango compote as a counterpart were awesome. We really liked the furnishings and style of the store. So everything was excellent, we would come back at any time. Thank you for the perfect evening for us Michi and Bärbel

We always had very good cuisine and very attentive and friendly service. The atmosphere on the terrace is something special. Please make sure to reserve in advance.

We had a great evening. We didn't dare go in at first because the store was completely empty. But we quickly found ourselves on a cozy terrace in the inner courtyard. The team gave us a great evening.

Stylish restaurant in Berlin-Mitte, due to the proximity to the Charité there is a high frequency of flashing lights with annoying noise emissions, the impressive seating is not very comfortable due to a lack of back support and little foot space, excellent food, very humorous and friendly service, reasonable price-performance ratio

Der Restaurantbesuch im Pantry war ein Erlebnis. Die Einrichtung ist opulent und kreativ, mit einigen interessanten Kunstobjekten. Das kreativ umgesetzte Essen hat uns sehr geschmeckt. Die Extras haben uns positiv überrascht. Der Kellner war eine Wucht, äusserst charmant, witzig und zuvorkommend. Definitiv eine Empfehlung.

We sat outside in the cozy courtyard. Very friendly service. Kitchen with original accents, good small menu and very good quality of ingredients. We deducted a point because the same salad accompanies some dishes and because the house tiramisu has no connection to the original. Otherwise highly recommended.

Very nice place with intimate atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and attentive, plus giving good recommendations. Food is on the expensive side but this is a place where you probably go to have a special dinner, so given the quality and presentation, it's worth having the experience. For the price, leave it alone. Unfortunately, the menu is not created very carefully; it relies on simple flavors such as plain meat, fish, or very fatty mayo. Unfortunately, I found the food and drink menu to be uncreative and undiverse. Unfortunately, my meat was cold and evenly cooked (sometimes very dry and fibrous). Unfortunately I was really disappointed with the presentation and price. Service was friendly. However, not in proportion to the asking price. Nicely furnished but you probably pay a lot for the layout and location.

Update from 6/7/24 We celebrated our wedding and my birthday in the pantry at the same time. It was an unforgettable evening. Apart from the good food, the very friendly and above all professional service made our evening perfect. A warm greeting to the team, see you on the anniversary at the latest!😉 Glad we discovered the pantry. I was there with a friend and we had a great evening with delicious food, good wine and very friendly, unobtrusive and perfect service. Until next time...🙂

Un ristorante di classe nel cuore di Berlino con arredamento molto chick e personale molto gentile. Piatti ben presentati e ben cucinati anche se metterei meno coriandolo . Un clima molto elegante e rilassato ti porta un po’ fuori dai classici ristoranti turistici. Toglierei da trip advisor la catalogazione di ristorante Asiatico altrimenti le persone si aspettano altro.

Great service, tasty dishes, dignified location. Acoustics a bit difficult for conversations with more than one person. Vegetarians beware: many dishes can be “converted” to be vegetarian - thank you for that 🙏

Went their yesterday first of all let’s start with the positive the design of the restaurant is nice classic nice location We ordered starter and main we got the main after more than 1 1/2 hour the time I waited and ate the soup inward already hungry then I ordered 200g meat with potatoes esparagus and salat I ordered medium they bring me the meat inside blood red salad the bred inside the salat was soft already so it means it stand for a while. Thr potatoe gratin or whatever it was was cold as well it was a disaster but I was hungry and didn’t wanted to make a fuss so I ate it ! But not even 15/20 minutes still in restaurant I throw up twice and it was a disaster and I felt ignored from the staff u literally stare at them nobody approach u I am thr customer / guest they should approach me sorry disaster but I think in general in Germany the quality of food and hotels not to compare to London and Saudi Arabia ect very very disappointed my company had as well very upset stomach if I could seriously for food 0 starts !!! Omg! So delicious and such great and charming service. The ambience is brilliant, so cozy and elegant at the same time. The visit is so valuable and impressive that it is worth celebrating a birthday in an elegant way. There were even two birthday toasts on the same evening!

I was invited to a birthday party; very friendly service, accommodating, delicious drinks and the food was clearly, stylishly and lovingly prepared. Price/performance is great!

Notre dîner fut étonnant : accueil charmant et attentionné ; une carte inventive ; un plat qui a étonné nos papilles et un désert chocolat très réussi. Mention pour le chardonnay allemand dont nous avons bu la bouteille sans même nous en rendre compte. Le décors est cosi et étonnant. Une soirée réussie ! Bravo.

A restaurant that is second to none. We were led through the elegant bar into a small backyard and found ourselves in an idyllic restaurant in the fresh air. The quality of the food was simply fantastic, we had the bison burger and the beef fillet and both were simply great in terms of taste and presentation. It was also nice to try out new things with the cocktails and the Gin Basil Smash is now one of my favorite drinks. Thank you for this culinary experience! P.s. I personally went to the kitchen for a thumbs up :-)

Food and service like last visit: great! This time sat inside and oh so loud... but we'll be back.

I was in the pantry for the first time and was immediately impressed by the great atmosphere. The service was top. Drinks took a bit long. I had tuna with wild herb salad, potato wedges and chicory. Basically everything was very good, only the tuna was not of good quality and was too dry. Everyone else at the table had nothing wrong with their dishes. It certainly wasn't the last visit.

For years now one of my favorite restaurants in berlin. The food is unique and yummy and the atmosphere cool and cozy at the same time.

I have to admit that I have never eaten so well and so deliciously at the same time!!!! The ambience is simply beautiful, the lighting is not too bright, which makes the whole thing even more extravagant. The service is great and totally attentive. Plus the cocktails taste really good! Too expensive for a wee steak and soup

Fantastic place, amazing dinner, amazing atmosphere, amazing staff. 👏 Really, bravo to the team working there.

It’s hit or miss. Appetizer was pretty good but the main was very disappointing. The steak was cooked properly but exceptionally tough. Unfortunately the staff was so overwhelmed by a large party they were didn’t react to my comments or that I did not finish 75% of the meal.

Above all, what stands out: the team! We have rarely experienced such kind, attentive service. So we felt completely comfortable. Drinks and food were all excellent too. Quite expensive but you get the right quality for the money. The seating is a bit uncomfortable after 2 hours. But that's complaining at a high level. For a special occasion, you can have a really good time here. Thanks to the service team! :)

Lovely and cosy restaurant with amazing food and super attentive and friendly service - a not so common find in berlin. We had dinner twice here during our business trip and would highly recommend it! You can't go wrong with anything on their menu... everything is really delicious, from food to deserts and cocktails everything is bursting with flavors.

What an absolutely fabulous dining experience! Here you get what you paid for. We had 2 friendly and attentive waiters and the food was excellent. I ordered the half kilo prawns, expecting to make a mess peeling them. But no! The prawns were all deveined with the shells on and cooked in a delicious gravy - that’s the amount of attention you get on the food. Highly recommended for a special dining experience.

Nice fancy restaurant with an interesting menu for food and drinks. Unfortunately, an extremely long wait for cocktails seems to be normal. The long wait somewhat diminished the positive experience of the evening…

Gestern habe ich mit Freunden einen tollen Abend im Pantry verbracht. Das Ambiente war stilvoll und zugleich gemütlich, der Service äußerst aufmerksam, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Weinkarte ist klein und fein und trifft zu 100 % meinen Geschmack. Die Wildfang-Garnelen, das Risotto und Dessert waren mega lecker. Vielen Dank für diesen schönen Abend, ich komme sehr gerne wieder.

We have been to the Pantry several times - after the last visit it is finally time for a review: Service and staff 10/10 - attentive, friendly, but not intrusive. You feel comfortable and "special" without having to worry about it or feeling like you can't move freely and relaxed. The drinks are absolutely great: whiskey sour and espresso martini are among our favorites! The absolute highlight on the last visit was the food: the vegan mushroom risotto was a smooth 12/10. I could have been fooled ;-) An absolute taste explosion. We will definitely come back again and again.

What a great find! I stumbled upon this restaurant as I headed into the scroll hole of Trip Advisor looking to find a decent restaurant. My partner and I love great food and going away on city breaks are often disappointed as it’s so hard to know where the good places to eat are. However, with this place we clearly found a gem! The staff were really welcoming as we entered. The decor is beautiful, great lighting and a wonderful atmosphere. The food and wine were amazing and a great price too! We had the sharing steak and fries and the steak was cooked to perfection. I can’t recommend this place highly enough and would definitely visit again.

One of the coziest restaurants with fantastic cuisine and great service that really fulfills every wish!

They add additional bottles of water on the bill and they are not fair with the price of glass of wine. The atmosphere is also a bit hostile. Value for money is inexistent.

Great as always! As soon as you enter, you are infected by the welcoming and positive atmosphere of the restaurant and the service. But not only the service, but also the food was first class! Every dish ordered was perfectly prepared, of the highest quality and aesthetically presented. This visit was an absolute highlight for me! The food at Pantry has been very good. I made a reservation at this restaurant a week in advance because the reviews were pretty good. The food was delicious. I tried the bison burger and, for dessert, the crème brûlée. As a negative point, I would point out that it takes a while to bring the food and that the atmosphere is somewhat noisy.

This place was amazing! The staff was professional but easy going so the atmosphere is relaxed but classy. The waiters’ recommendations were spot on and my girlfriend loved her Negroni. The restaurant’s interior felt comfy and intimate and the staff let us sit even though the place closed. Highly recommend especially for couples!

Lieux qui se veut un peu guindé/hype. La nourriture est assez chère et pas exceptionnelle, le service est absent (on a du se lever pour réclamer nos cocktails), l'ambiance est ni bonne ni mauvaise. Point positif: les cocktails etaient bons. Mais nous n'y retournerons pas.

Wir haben das Restaurant anlässlich eines Berlin-Besuchs über das Internet gefunden. Sehr freundliche Bedienung, die Einrichtung, insbesondere die Bilder, ist ein wenig schräg, aber stimmig. Beim Essen muss ich differenzieren. Während mein Hauptgericht (Garnelen) wirklich richtig gut war, ist meine Frau vom Bison-Burger, der doch ziemlich geschmacklos und auch nicht richtig heiß war, ziemlich enttäuscht gewesen. Vielleicht hat sie mit der Auswahl Pech gehabt. Das trübt den ansonsten stimmigen Eindruck doch ein wenig.
