A charming Berlin pub with a super friendly landlady who cooks fantastically! I had roulades with red cabbage and dumplings – absolutely delicious, as if I had made them myself! Very cozy dining room, old Berlin flair. I'll definitely come back when I'm in Berlin again.

We were looking for "German cuisine"! It doesn't look particularly impressive from the outside, so we decided to give it a try. The owner makes you feel at home, and the selection is fantastic. The highlight was the extra sauce jug, which makes the dumplings taste even better. Highly recommended!

I ate there for the first time on August 11th, Königsberger Klopse with extra sauce. It was simply delicious. Today, August 12th, I went again, with schnitzel, warm potato salad, and cucumber salad. It was a DREAM! I'll be back again and again! Everything's homemade. GREAT CINEMA!

This isn't just a restaurant/pub – it's a bulwark against food trucks, quinoa battles, and avocado invasions! The Preußen Quelle serves you home-style cooking like it's 1985 and the Berlin Wall is still standing around dinnertime. The menu? A poem of meat, dumplings, and plenty of "Do you want some sauce with that?" – my favorites: the goulash, the fillet with pointed cabbage (yes, pointed cabbage!), and of course, the potato salad. The cool thing: Some are also available in vegetarian versions, just ask. Inside: cozy, genuine charm, a bit of pub magic. Outside: a sign in Gothic script – so you know right away: this isn't for flirting, this is for eating. And proper food, too. And a decent Berliner Kindl on tap. The service is warm and honest. And for those who want to enjoy it in style: there's even a smoking lounge. Anyone who complains here can't be helped. We'll be back. For the food, for the atmosphere, and because my heart beats for schnitzel with cucumber salad. Preußen Quelle, I love you!

The cooking and serving here is done with passion! Great Berlin pub! The schnitzels are freshly pounded to order; you can hear it outside :) The goulash is tender as butter, and the owner/chef is very accommodating and not intrusive. Highly recommended. The service is very friendly, with an announcement of today's menu. Very pleasant both inside and out, and simply typically German. Highly recommended and delicious food, just like grandma used to make. We'd happily return anytime.

Wonderful, freshly prepared food. The owner still cooks here herself. She also offers dishes tailored to guests' preferences if they're looking for something special. Since everything is freshly prepared and homemade, the owner is very flexible. She's also very, very nice and goes above and beyond to make an effort. You really only experience that very, very rarely these days. A true insider tip!

An authentic Berlin pub with home-style cooking and Berlin/German cuisine. Fresh draft beer! A cozy smoking room is also available. So if you want to experience this now-rare atmosphere, you should stop by here. Skat and trolling (a dice game) are also played here. So, it's down-to-earth and steeped in tradition. The clientele is very diverse, from young to very old. The atmosphere is relaxed and very casual. Don't miss it!

Absolutely amazed by the shop owner for her passion on cuisine, hospitality, kindness and willingness to communicate with guests!! A couple of 2, with not much research done beforehand. Grateful that the shop owner did not mind us popping up - instead she introduced her menu of the day with so much detail, and recommended a unique vegeterian dish to my partner who can't really eat beef or chicken. She's such a passionate host and her cuisine cuisine was truly piece of art! You could actually hear her freshing preparing the Schnitzel - bang, bang, bang, bang! Terrific food, tranquil and pleasant atmosphere, what's more she's honest and warm! The landlady was so enthusiastic and didn't mind introducing the Japanese menu to me in English - I chose Schnitzel, but my other half, who doesn't like fried food, chicken and beef, listened to the landlady's suggestion and chose Kartoffeln - Spinat - Pfanne, a dish not on the menu. The literal translation is potato spinach and pancake, which is a home-cooked dish from the landlady's own house. The landlady is very enthusiastic about cooking, and she likes to share her cooking with others, so she also talked with me for a while. It feels like a secluded, low-key shop - the menu at the door is very interesting, and it says it opens at 12 o'clock on weekdays, so you can close the shop at any time. The price may seem expensive at first glance, but after eating it, you will realize that it is a reasonable price, the ingredients are well matched, and you can appreciate the skill of the proprietress. Photos 1) Pub equipped with outdoor area and signage with simplicity; the restaurant has outdoor benches and the signage is simple and bright 2&3) Crispy and juicy chnitzel and potatoes? Sautéed with bacon flakes, served with sour-refreshing cucumber salad - perfect match; 4) Kartoffeln - Spinat - Pfanne, shop owner's hiden menu which she also cooks for her family very often - a home-made dish everyone's going to enjoy;

A nice, cozy restaurant that fits into the neighborhood with delicious homemade food. Had schnitzel with warm potato salad - a poem. Anyone looking for down-to-earth cuisine without unnecessary frills is in good hands here. Here you can still hear how the schnitzels are made and everything is prepared in-house. I would be happy to come by again next time.

The best Königsberger Klopse ever, great service, nice service, friendly, authentic, Berlin-style... you can feel very comfortable there. If I didn't live so far away in the Rhineland, I would be here more often.

It looks strange from the outside, so pub-like, but that's not the case, it's not an old random pub, the name is also strange, but it's historical, Prussianquelle, no WiFi, super good cuisine, the best cook of all time, dishes that change every day , underpaid fine cuisine, home cooking doesn't really hit the mark, it's just delicious, e.g. goulash, the best schnitzel, the best food in general, guests are mostly regulars, everyone is very nice, mostly Tempelhofers, locals, they all have something on their minds, politeness and manners are the highest priority ...stupid stenker heads... None, non-smoking bar with a smoking room, therefore suitable for children, summer "garden", also suitable for larger events, you just have to talk to the restaurateur,

Just as there used to be many pubs in Berlin, this restaurant has obviously survived so far. The reasons lie in the ambience, the offerings and of course the manager. In the warmer seasons you can sit outside and, being some distance from the main street, it is pleasantly quiet. An authentic piece of “old Berlin” that will hopefully find its audience for a long time.

Urige Berliner Kneipe. Etwas versteckt und weg vom Trubel des Tempelhofer Damms. Kleine und überwiegend frische Speisen werden schnell und lecker von der Besitzerin zubereitet. Supernette Bedienung und auch mal für ein Plausch zu haben. Kleiner Geheimtipp. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

In einer Kneipe essen gehen, geht für uns eigentlich gar nicht! Wir machten einen hungrigen Spaziergang durch Tempelhof vorbei an x Restaurants…. Wir hatten auf deutsche Küche Lust. So richtig wie bei „Muttern“ Die draußen angeschlagenen Speisen: Kassler mit Sauerkraut, Schnitzel mit warmen Kartoffelsalat, Königsberger Klopse, Buletten lockten uns förmlich hinein. Eine Dame speiste bereits genüsslich in dem kleinen Gastraum. ( wie sich später herausstellte einmal die Woche) Wir bestellten Schnitzel, Gurkensalat mit warmen Kartoffelsalat und Buletten. Wir hörten das Klopfen der Schnitzel aus der Küche und freuten uns schon, dass es kein frittiertes Fertigprodukt gibt. Warm und frisch kam dann alles auf den Tisch. LECKER wie bei Mutter - tatsächlich!! Die Chefin liebt Ihren Beruf und Ihre Berufung von ganzen Herzen.

Ach ja, das war schon irgendwie ganz witzig, in dieser unscheinbarer Gaststätte. Sollen wir da wirklich reingehen, grübelten ein Kollege und ich, dienstlich in Berlin, vor der Gaststätte. Und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht, eine nette Wirtin begrüßte uns und wir nahmen an den wenigen Plätzen im Thekenraum Platz. Das gepflegte Bier kam schnell und die Frage nach Essbaren wurde mit ja beantwortet, Schnitzel, Spiegeleier und einige weitere Gerichte wurden empfohlen. Wir wählten Schnitzel mit Pilzen und Kartoffeln. In der Küche hörte man ein Schnitzelgeklopfe und oh Wunder,ves schmeckte vorzüglich. Man muss die kleine Gaststätte mögen, irgendwie ein Kleinod.

War spontan mit meinem Sohn zum Essen da. Schnitzel stand auf der Karte. Sehr gutes Essen, selbst gemacht, man hört wie das Fleisch geklopft wird. Super Preis Leistung, sehr netter und kompetenter Service. Hätte ich nicht gedacht. Findet man nur noch selten. Also nicht abschrecken lassen sondern testen. Ein echter Geheimtipp. Guten Appetit

Eine traditionelle Berliner Kneipe mit hervorragendem frisch gekochten Essen. Allein für das Essen hätte das Lokal schon 5 von 5 Sternen verdient. Was aber die Gastwirtschaft wirklich auszeichnet und zu etwas ganz Besonderen macht ist die Gastwirtin. Zuvorkommend, freundlich, offen, authentisch - ich wüsste nicht, wann ich mich als Gast so willkommen und wertgeschätzt gefühlt hätte wie hier. Von ihr könnten selbst die besten Lokale noch viel lernen. Wären wir Berliner, wären wir hier mit Sicherheit des Öfteren zu Gast. Klare Empfehlung und auch für Touristen, die das echte Berlin erleben wollen, ein echter Geheimtipp.

Eine der immer seltener werdenden Berliner Kiezkneipen mit frischer, leckerer Hausmannskost zu fairen Preisen. Eine sehr sympathische Wirtin inklusive 🤗. Zum Glück nach dem Lock Down wieder geöffnet.

Königsberger Kloppse waren sehr lecker

Habe mir heute die Schnitzel mit frischen Champignons in einer Specksahnesoße und Salzkartoffeln gegönnt. Hat mir sehr gut geschmeckt. Kann ich auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Bin selber dort gerne Gast und finde auch unter den Gästen viele gute Gesprächspartner. Auch wenn das Speisenangebot eher übersichtlich ist, kann ich über die Qualität nichts negatives anmerken. Es gibt ein kleines Frühstücksangebot und ich habe mich dort immer wohl gefühlt. Ich werde mich auch weiterhin dort einfinden und die Seele baumeln lassen.

An einem der wenigen verbliebenen Orte mit uriger und gerade deshalb zugleich gastfreundlicher und anspruchsvoller Kneipenqualität in Berlin kann man Bier, Schnaps, einfache Weine und Longdrinks genießen. Das kühle, frische Fassbier zum überschaubaren Preis ist ein Highlight, egal ob man im Winter am Holztresen, im getäfelten Raucherzimmer oder an warmen Tagen auf der Terrasse in der ruhigen Tempelhofer Seitenstraße sitzt. Die Kneipierin ist ein Sonnenschein und weiß viel über den Kiez und die Welt darüber hinaus. Täglich gibt es hausgemachte Speisen, die zu mehr als einem Imbiss einladen.

Gutes kühles Bier. Nette Bedienung und man kann eine Kleinigkeit essen. Im Sommer unbedingt draußen sitzen :-)

È un locale tipico tedesco, molto d'atmosfera. Si possono ordinare pochi piatti, ma molto ben cucinati. Abbiamo mangiato 1 cotoletta, 1 polpetta, 2 insalate di patate, 1 insalata di cetrioli, accompagnata da pane in quantità e bevuto 1,6 litri di birra... il tutto a 24 euro. Ma soprattutto la proprietaria è una persona di una gentilezza e disponibilità infinte.
