Really great find, great food, the pancakes are more muffins but lovely, and the egg and salmon breakfast very good. Not sure Italians would find the focaccia authentic. As a cyclist loved the concept and good mooching. Staff attentive and spoke English which is always helpful as my german is lousy. Highly recommend

We visited this restaurant every morning we were in Berlin. Our hotel, Hotel Adlon Kempinski, was right up the street. However, more importantly, the breakfast menu provided a great variety of choices and the food was excellent! Not to mention the Cappuccino, which was probably the best I have ever had. No reason for us to go anywhere else after the first visit. We were always able to get a table around 8am and sit outside on the quiet street, and the service was fantastic! However, beware. They do not sell merchandise on Sundays. While there is NO signage advising a customer of this, us and another couple had a very rude man bark at us that they do not sell merchandise on Sundays while waiting at the register. A prominent sign right at the register would have been all that is needed. Thank goodness we never had him taking our food order.

Cooles Ambiente und schicker Laden. Leider aber längere Wartezeiten. Für die Wartezeiten war dann das Essen eher durchschnittlich. Die Avocado-Foccacia sah megagut aus, war dann allerdings nicht fade und nicht gut gewürzt. Der French-Toast dann fast etwas zu süss. Alles in allem zwar nicht schlecht, aber die Erwartungen waren etwas höher.

Often past it, this time clean and smooth, regretting that I had never been here before. Just the option of ordering ice cream on the side is great. I found the atmosphere extremely appealing and the food/coffee left nothing to be desired. You also have the sun outside in the morning, which is very nice.

The Café Restaurant on Wilhelm Straße in Berlin offers a nice outdoor area and an exciting indoor area with lots of old and cool bicycles. The food is quite good, the prices are moderate. Unfortunately, the service is a bit inattentive; you sometimes stand in front of the entrance for several minutes until you are seated. As is usual in Berlin, they almost only speak English in service, which I always find a little irritating. The Café Restaurant therefore receives four stars.

A short wait to be seated; this is a reflection of the popularity not anything else. Friendly and welcoming staff; very capable and multi-lingual. The food was well prepared and the wide selection offering something for all appetites. A very enjoyable breakfast.

Where do I start? Hostess was uninterested and rude, watched us stand at the ‘Wait to be seated’ sign and just meandered about until she finally approached us and waved us off to a table. We had a nice male waiter. We ordered the smashed avo on focaccia…. My advice is don’t. Just don’t. It looks like it taste good but looks are deceiving. Worst avo smash Ive ever had. sad greens on it. Tasted a bit funky. Hopefully I live until tomorrow. This restaurant/cafe is the first I’ve ever left a review on. I promise Im not a Karen, the food is just genuinely bad.

2024-07-29. A nice coffee time at the outdoor terrace. The coffee tasted good and the staff were nice. Inside, there was a bicycle shop, which was very unique for a café. Located very close to the center and many of the famous sights. Fun visit but saying the little extra to get that lovely atmosphere.

People working were very arrogant and unfriendly. Food was okay. Good space.

Had the worst pasta in my life. I had the pesto ones and my boyfriend carbonara, very dry, hard pasta, with barely any taste, not worth the money. While the staff moved fast, they were somehow indifferent. Maybe other foods are better, but definitely won't come back.

It looks like Fluffy pancake or Soufflé pancake , but the textures seems and taste more as a “standard” cake; not what we were expecting. We had 1 choco and 1 raspberry. Portion are big (cost around 15€ each). Location is very nice on a quiet area close to Brandeburg Tor. Service very efficient and competent.

Cool place to take a break with great food and drink

A well-located place just around the corner from the Brandenburg Gate. Just don't ask them to change the way the egg is prepared on your plate, because it's impossible for them to do so. The pancakes are good. They offer homemade lemonades. I expected more, they are inflexible.

Used to love coming here, but my last visit was not great. We were greeted by a girl who clearly did not want to work there. Grunted at us and showed us a table. That was the last we saw of her. Waited 15 min and nothing. Asked another staff member if we could order and said "one minute" Again this was the last time we saw him. After another 5 minutes we just got up and left. Terrible service, And has become very expensive. Won't be back there again. Need to train your staff.

A super cozy place. Where there is both food and bicycles. The service was super nice. The food was super nice and looked delicious, but unfortunately a bit boring. The sandwiches needed a little more dressing. There were both good and bad things about the pasta bolognese. The pasta itself was a bit strange, didn't taste very good and had a strange texture, but the bolognese itself was good. Their coffee was lovely.

Very tasty and good selection of food, I think the prices for the retro cycling clothes are fair, the real vintage items are relatively expensive, but after all, staff, rent and taxes have to be paid somehow..... Update July 13, 2024: I was happy to come back, I thought it was nice to see the trend of offering old steel frames with modern components.

Rather large portions of the Foccacia dishes at breakfast. We each had avocado foccacia, the foccacia was dry, can't be fresh (If it's the fresh foccacia they have, they need to get a new chef), the avocado seemed a bit artificial, the buffalo and bacon were very good. The filter coffee was also very good. The service was quite ok, they took a very long time to serve the food, the coffee and very fast with the bill. The atmosphere outside was very good.

Food was great. However, the server seemed quite miffed when we asked for tap water. While it may be the custom in Germany to only provide tap water alongside a drink, it left a sour taste in my mouth - especially as the restaurant is charging tourist trap prices! Also the scrambled eggs were too salty.

The experience we had at this breakfast place we visited in Berlin was quite negative. We thought it was a good place based on the reviews, but the result was not as expected. We walked in and greeted the lady serving with "hello, good morning" as we entered and sat at an empty table. The lady probably didn't hear us because she was busy and did not respond. After waiting for a while, no one attended to us. The environment was quite chaotic, and there were too many customers. I think this situation was due to the insufficient number of staff.After some time, since no one attended to us, we decided to take the menu and place an order. At that moment, someone serving, putting their hands on our table and leaning over us, asked if we had read the sign outside. We didn't understand which sign they were talking about because there was no sign visible from the side we entered. When we were leaving, we noticed that the sign was facing the other direction. Apparently, we were supposed to wait, but we were unaware of this. We tried to explain the situation, but the person, still with their hands on the table in a very rude manner, explained the situation to us in English. When we said we would get up and wait, they turned their head and left grumbling.In our opinion, what should have happened was this: We might not have seen the sign when we walked in. The person who came to us should have said: "Normally, we meet our customers outside and seat them accordingly, but you came in and sat down, so you probably didn't see the sign. Let me help you; I'll bring the menu right away. We would appreciate it if you could pay attention next time." If this had been the approach, we would have apologized and said we would be more careful next time and suggested they place the sign better.Therefore, the proper service should involve being polite and helpful to the customer in this manner. As a result, we find such behavior at such a place unacceptable and wrong. Of course, it would be wrong to say this about everyone working there, but we believe these sentences are accurate for that gentleman. Off course we left without eating. Thank you.

The pancakes are tall, fluffy and really delisious. The food is good but the café itself is also really enjoyable because it has a cozy vintage vibe.

Every time we visit Berlin, we always go here and having a good time with excellent food and drinks and shopping bike stuff.

Very good food, nice service and great music. The place is atmospheric, the portions are large and the price is rather standard for Berlin. I paid a little over €20 for a pancake with bacon and tea. I recommend!

The guy who was working there today (23/06) was quite rude and unpleasant, although the girl was very kind. Anyway food was nice!

The place has nice outdoor seating. The food is fresh and the coffee tastes great. So why only three stars? The service was not very friendly and I did not feel too welcome. Also this place still charges extra for plant based milk and doesn't offer tap water for customers who pay for a meal.
