Steel Vintage Bikes Café in Berlin

Just a very easy going place. Rich breakfast with healthy stuff and the passion of retro bikes are a pretty good combo. Great atmosphere too.

Very welcoming, interesting and tastefully decorated cafe. You immediately feel comfortable. Warm welcome, very nice staff and the cake is incredibly delicious! So overall I would have liked to give it 5 stars. Unfortunately, the (only) women's toilet was clogged, probably not for the first time and overall it didn't make a particularly healthy impression.

Such a cute little spot on the corner, has such a vintage vibe inside and the music is really old school songs through the years. Not to mention the food was delicious and could tell everything was fresh!

Really interesting atmosphere. The food is simple, but delicious. I felt like my eggs with salmon could have used some sauce on the side, but my partners bacon and eggs foccacia with avocado was amazing!! Tap water costs 2,50€ tho.

The Buffalo Burrata Focaccia and Avocado Focaccia are wonderful! Music and bars very good too.

Prices are quite high. DDR like, queuing for a seat allocation with included reprimand from the staff if you want to choose a seat yourself, embarrassing!

Πολύ όμορφο καφέ με χαρακτήρα. Εξαιρετικό service. Καλές επιλογές για πρωινό. Εμείς ήπιαμε καφέ και γλυκό -το κλασικό Kasekuchen, ολόφρεσκο σαν να ψήθηκε εκείνη την ώρα. Συνήθως έχει μεγάλη αναμονή, αλλά δεν περιμένεις πολύ ώρα για να εξυπηρετηθείς. Ακριβό μαγαζί, αλλά πολύ ποιοτικό . Αξίζει μια στάση .

The pulled beef sandwich was AMAZING! Pasta was good but would suggest you get the pancakes instead they looked phenomenal

Do not miss the croissant French toast! The pancakes were also fantastic. The salmon with my scrambled eggs was very fresh and the focaccia was delicious. I also had of the best filtered coffees I have had in Berlin.

Perfect place! Cosy, trendy, good coffee! Busy but not overcrowded. The owner (I think) manages the place extremely well!

Nice and interesting concept cafe. The matcha latte was ok - too much milk in my opinion could have more matcha taste. Espresso was great, the blueberry cheesecake was ok. Could get busy at times so be prepared to wait, wifi was not working.

Stay away from here, absolutely terrible place…Leaving aside the fact that the prices are expensive compared to the Berlin average and the products are not tasty, the rudeness of the brown-haired and bearded employee at the entrance is never acceptable. He was just extremely unnecessary terrible person. They made me google comment for the first time in my life. Thank you Steel Vintage Bikes Cafe…

Very hip. For tourists, English, digital cards and online card payments are great. Unfortunately not for the older Berlin clientele... everything else was great.

Excellent place to have the type of coffee you want, what they prepare is delicious. The atmosphere is very very pleasant to be alone or with company. I loved its mood and decoration. The waiters are very nice.

The best breakfast I've ever had, seriously. Not cheap, but worth it ****! Delicious and fresh, huge, for the whole day!

Fun place but very expensive. And they don’t have ‘normal’ mayonnaise or English breakfast tea - all other tea earl grey/herbal is 6.50 Euro. Plus you have to pay 2.50 Euro for tap water. Shame, as some simple tweaks could make all the difference.

Strange service, we wanted to have a coffee, they only serve you seating, they do only table service, you don't order at the bar, and must wait to have a waiter taking your coffee order. Not efficient at all. Awfully expensive coffees, 3.6€ for an espresso macchiato, 2.6€ for an espresso. 1€ only for a cloud of milk added to an espresso, crazy ! Milk price is 1€ liter in berlin. Indecent prices, as in any top notch cafe here, a cappuccino is 3.6€, here it is an espresso with milk. Never coming back

I recently visited this wonderful coffee shop in Berlin, and I can't recommend it highly enough. The coffee here is absolutely fantastic and the bunch also. What really made the experience special, though, was the warm and kind service from Darshan . He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome! Highly recommend!

The atmosphere is very nice, it has bicycles hanging throughout the place (you can rent them here, among other things), the drinks are good, I recommend the Chai pumpkin spiced latte (especially in winter 😊)

Great cafe, but the bike side of things is massively oversold. I came all the way from New Zealand to spend some serious, serious money on Campagnolo bike parts that I’d seen in their website, but was simply told that there was no one there that day who new about bikes. So instead of spending 1000 Euro, I spent 5 on a coffee and left. They are more interested in being a cafe with a backdrop of vintage bikes to keep the hipsters happy, than they are about serving the true cyclists with money to spend - even this review template is centred around the food and nothing mentioned about the bikes….. A real shame.

Super nice place, if not standard. Delicious spaghetti carbonara. The cappuccino was also very tasty. Definitely recommended.

Food is good but they apparently do not have tap water to serve to guests on certain days, after ordering full meals and drinks. Not sure what water they are using for coffee or tea or other things but be prepared to pay for water bottles if you don’t have the right server that will also provide a glass of water for guests.

There was nothing wrong with the food, I just wasn't expecting 3 cm high pancakes smothered when I ordered pancakes. I just want normal pancakes but that seems rare in Berlin. 😆 I had the pumpkin chai latte and loved it. Ordered a separate side of eggs and they were good.

A pretty unique ambience with all kinds of bicycles and wonderfully tasty food. Would definitely recommend this place for a weekend brunch.
