Food, atmosphere and staff was one of the greatest experiences I’ve had here in Berlin

We've been to Snouber so many times, the food was and is delicious. BUT ⛔⛔ Can a woman sit there in peace without the employees constantly staring at her? On Tuesday, there were six of us (women), and the guy at the cash register watched us the whole time and gave us a strange look. So we swapped seats.

Very tasty Manakish and Fatteh.

The atmosphere was lovely with Arabic music and a clean, welcoming space. As for the food, it didn’t quite meet expectations. The fatteh with minced meat felt smaller and less generous than at other places nearby, so it felt kind of disappointing for the price of 11€ and the manakish were just okay. Even small touches like tea were charged extra, which made the experience feel less hospitable. Overall, while the visit was pleasant in some ways, the value for money just wasn’t there. Next time, we’d likely choose another spot.

I wanted to go to breakfast this morning. In the store, my boyfriend went up to ask if he could clean our table. Normally, they come right away and clean the table before sitting down. 5 minutes later, no one came and just looked at us stupidly and laughed. So I got up myself to ask for a rag to clean the table. He laughed at me and said, "In a minute." I was like, "No, now I'm going to argue with the table." He provoked me and said several times in a minute. So we left because he didn't want to do it. Cleanliness was zero. And service -0. If you don't want to do the job, you shouldn't work.

Good Arabic cuisine, right in the heart of Neukölln! Service is good, and the food is served promptly. The prices are perfectly reasonable. The food selection is great and the taste is good! The atmosphere can be a bit noisy when full, but not unpleasant. Highly recommended!

Had to wait 10 minutes for a table, but it was well worth it! The food was so fresh and tasty and the atmosphere really cosy and familial. The waiters were very kind and helpful. We really enjoyed!

Very good, but the prices are a bit high.

The last visit was four years ago and we always come back. The food is delicious and the bite is clean. A simple note: I wish the young men would serve the food on the table because sometimes the customer doesn’t like to go and come back twice to carry the food. The prices are high for Sonnenalle. And the guy at the cashier is a bit unfriendly. You can only pay by card for orders over 10 euros, and if you want a piece of bread with your meal, it costs extra and is no exception to the 10-euro rule... The food is good but very fatty.

Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was very poor. The food was expensive and tasted absolutely terrible. The quality left much to be desired, and the value for money was completely out of reach. I would not recommend this restaurant.

I dont normally have a big breakfast in Berlin, but if I did, I would likely become a regular here because the portion size and flavor were definitely worth a re-visit. I did their house sucuk (eggs and spiced meat slices in a skillet), which came with a generous portion of pickled vegetables and a warm flatbread. I also did the house coffee, which had some kind of chicory or cardamom flavor, found it to be nice.

Worst and rudest customer service i have ever had

Today I had the worst experience at this restaurant. We was a group of 6 but me and my husband arrived before the rest and we took a table and after a while they wanted to kick us out because mt friends was late and the prentend that I cannot reserve a table although I already ordered. They told me to share my table with other clients and when my friends will come they will give us another table. When they arrived they told us that we cannot have another table and that we must wait and they refuse to put us on the waiting list. Note that I was already there and ordered but they neglect this and was so rude with us.

Two days ago, I invited my friends there, but unfortunately my friend came out crying. She is not an Arab. My friends are foreigners, unfortunately. We didn’t even eat there because the service was very bad. Those who work there were very sullen about one of the people working there. My friends tried to talk to her, but she simply ignored them and continued on her way without looking at them. One of my friends tried to talk to those working in English, but the response was dry and soulless. They didn’t even tell her how the service was there because she arrived before me. I really love the food there, but if those who work there would pay more attention to the customers, especially the foreigners who love to try our restaurants.

My Very Disappointing Restaurant Experience When I arrived, I waited outside because I didn't have a reservation. I waited for a member of staff to come by, but when I tried to speak to the lady, she ignored me not once, but twice. She didn't even say hello or good morning. So I just went inside, asked the bartender, and found a table myself. No one came to ask for my order. Since it was my first visit, I didn't know what to do. I waited for my friends to arrive, and still no one came to take our order. As an Asian, I didn't feel comfortable there. So we decided to leave and find another restaurant because I didn't want to spend a cent in a restaurant where I wasn't welcome. I didn't care if the food was good, as I had read in some reviews. I'm glad we found the best restaurant just a few minutes' walk away, called Aldimashqi Restaurant (Top).

Time and time again, I'm impressed by how delicious and fresh the food is. No matter when I've been there, I've never had to wait long; I get a table within 5-10 minutes, and it doesn't take long for the food to arrive. The food is always 10/10. The ambiance is wonderful, and the decor is very interesting. I've already tried the drinks list; everything is freshly prepared, with something for everyone. All the friends I take there are thrilled. It's 100% worth a visit.

Beautiful Arabian pizza Manakesh, very tasty and very fulfilling for the price, the sizes are big, and very considerate. Tea is unlimited for 1 euro per person, which is insane as well, staff friendly and atmosphere looks beautiful and calm.

Snaubar is a beautifully decorated restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. The decor is modern and stylish. We ordered manakish with za'atar and cheese, as well as fatteh with minced meat. The manakish tasted really good. They were crispy, well-seasoned, and fresh from the oven! The fatteh was also very tasty, although a bit too greasy for my taste. Snaubar positions itself in the upper price range. The rather high prices somewhat detract from the overall positive experience.

The food is as good as many places in the area, the fatte is probably the best on the menu, the hummus needs more love, the manakish are good, especially the cheese one.

I tried a Manakish, a fatteh with yogurt and a mate drink and wow, what a delicious meal. It was a lot of food, these two would be for two people but it was delicious. I highly recommend ordering a fatteh. Very nice restaurant, with a lot of space, very good service and very friendly. You can pay in cash or by card. Plus the dishes are not expensive at all.

Update: extremely full, waited for over 2 hours...2 hours. The problem is, the waiting list doesn't apply to everyone and some people smuggled themselves ahead of the line. Ridiculous. (1 star deduction) ------------------------- Excellent authentic Syrian/Lebanese food. The best in Berlin. Mainly for breakfast or brunch. I would personally recommend the fatteh, hummus, foull, manakeesh if you're a beginner ;) but everything is absolutely worth trying

Unfortunately, my experience today was bad. For no reason, the accountant started talking to me in a sarcastic manner. I told him he was holding a table in my name. He started repeating the name in a mocking manner, and I did not know him and he did not know me. When he felt like I didn’t accept his behavior, he started telling me I didn’t mean anything. Okay, but respect your customers, let's go back to your place. It's very annoying like this in terms of energy, someone overstepping their bounds and disrespecting people just because we come to eat there. May you stay safe
