We stopped in for a small breakfast. Unfortunately, it's only served until 12:00 PM. Not for late risers. We stopped off for a quick bite of apple strudel with vanilla sauce and ice cream, which was very tasty while we were on our bike ride. The service was super nice and friendly.

Here you'll still find traditional Berlin dishes. No frills or fancy stuff. But super delicious, just like mom's. It's cozy because it's simply normal. And that's not a bad thing. Just a feeling of well-being.

A true original. Honest, delicious food and a rustic atmosphere. Always busy and simply lovely to stop by, no matter what time of day.

The owner is a bit unusual, but top-notch. Good German cuisine. Seating is also available on the terrace. A small smoking area. I'd love to come back. I've had breakfast there several times. 😋

One of those Berlin pubs that's an insider tip. No luxury, just simple living in Berlin. Good Berlin-style home cooking, more than generous portions, and luckily, there's also a menu for seniors. Beer in a mug is a rare sight in Berlin. Keep up the good work, we'll be back.

The breakfast and lunch are great... Praise to the kitchen... The restaurant makes a cozy, rustic impression... I always enjoy eating there... Don't forget the braised cucumbers (in season) like my mom's.

The Bierseidel at the market delighted us with excellent food and great service! The Holstein Schnitzel with fried potatoes was simply delicious – juicy, crispy and perfectly prepared. In addition, friendly and attentive service who always served with a smile. An all-round successful experience – we would be happy to come back and can only recommend the restaurant!

Quaint Berlin restaurant, everyone has to go there and try it out. Recommended the schnitzel and the potato salad. That alone makes the visit worth it. It's good that you can also sit outside

The best German restaurant in the south of Neukölln. With Kilkenny and Guinness on tap. The restaurant is located on a market square from the 1960s. Reservations are recommended for more than 2 people.

ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDATION I don't know how long this German restaurant/beer pub has existed, but definitely 30 years?! Maybe there was a change of ownership, but the fact that a small restaurant/pub has existed for so long (in a rather unspectacular area) speaks for itself!! The dishes reflect German home cooking without a lot of fancy and LOTS of authenticity. Eating like “mothers” 😉 Very good selection of dishes without “overloading” the menu. Good breakfast selection (the pancakes are world-class crispy!!) Delicious at lunchtime, tasty from the “simple” herring plate to the crispy Christmas goose. Everything lovingly cooked AND served. VERY nice, attentive service. Somehow you feel like “family”. The “ambience” is a bit dark and “old-fashioned”. Very clean. But that also has charm. Anyone can do chic 😉 It just fits. A gem in Britz that deserves great attention. No, I don't know the landlord. My review comes from my own experiences AND from my heart. GO LOCAL!!

I have known Bierseidel since my childhood. I think it's great that the beer mug is still preserved. The service is extremely friendly and incredibly nice and accommodating. The food is German cuisine, super tasty 😋. I'll definitely come back

My goodness, I've known the Bierseidel for 50 years and I've only just stopped by there! A quaint restaurant in Britz next to the former Panorama cinema, which is now Aldi. There are plenty of parking spaces in front of the door. The food was extremely tasty, mostly varied German cuisine. The service was nice and attentive. There are several beers on tap. I had the Zwickel beer, which was perfectly poured and extremely drinkable. But the drinks menu leaves nothing to be desired. In summer you can sit outside at the square. I liked it and I'll be back!

Update: Food quality has improved again (12/2024). German cuisine and good draft beer. Unfortunately, drink prices are galloping away and no longer really reflect the income level of the area. One star deducted because the operator doesn't really know what he would like to be - restaurant or pub?!? A pub isn't open long enough on weekends and for a restaurant the pub business is somehow disruptive.

We'd love to come back again and again. The typical German food is absolutely delicious and rich. Price-performance ratio is absolutely right. The pub charm is pleasant and not intrusive in the “restaurant area”. There are smaller, cheaper portions for seniors.

We had a small company Christmas party there. It was a very pleasant evening and the food tasted very good, and the selection of draft beer was also very good. The waitress was very accommodating and the service was excellent. We would love to come back and will also stop by again in private.

I don't know whether this is even allowed to be celebrated anymore, but classic German culture is still lived here. Rustic furnishings, no shishi, good German food and Berlin Koddernauze. You feel “at home” there. If you like a sophisticated pub atmosphere with food events, such as all-you-can shrimp or large goose dinners, this is the right place for you. Oh and sports broadcasts are included. It's worth a visit if you don't need "Etepetete"!!

Hello, that was a successful afternoon. We celebrated our 50th anniversary. 50 years ago we moved into a house as tenants - October 1st, 1974. It just had to be celebrated. The “Bierseidel” was the venue. The ambience - rustic - but clean and neat. Food - OK - service - nice and loving. We were completely satisfied. PPH.

A nice place near me to stay, eat & drink inside and outside, very friendly service

When the weather was very nice, I ate outside with my colleague, we were served very quickly and enjoyed a delicious lunch and felt very comfortable. The prices are completely reasonable for the size of the portions. The selection of beers is also highly recommended. The ambience in the store is very nice for a cozy evening with friends and a few beers.

Waited 30 minutes for drinks, ordered after 45 minutes and multiple attempts. Food came at 3:00 p.m. Unfortunately the quality (schnitzel with asparagus for €28😮) was not good, the asparagus was overcooked and woody.
