Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, the service was very, very bad, quickly overwhelmed and everything was brought incorrectly or mixed up! Several guests experienced this! The food is nothing special on a normal level and doesn't match the prices. We had expected something more classy because of the presentation, unfortunately it was more of an illusion. Nevertheless, I would like to emphasize that the waiters and waitresses were all nice, but you can immediately tell that they are not professionals.
We were there in December and also for the first time in Obermaier. It was a bit chilly but otherwise comfortable, there are padded benches and hard chairs. The service is very attentive and very friendly. We were there with foreign guests and communicating in English was no problem. The food is excellent, the portions are also ok. The beer is tapped and sometimes something unusual (not Berliner). When it comes to wine, the price differences (€6-9) are surprising. Overall not cheap, we spent €145 for 4 people. That's ok given the quality today. But why tap water with sparkling water now has to cost €4.50 / 0.5 l is incomprehensible. It would be a nice gesture to simply give this to the guests. Still thumbs up, recommended.ö
We held our wedding reception at Bruderherz and everything was perfect. The food was fantastic (as always), the waiters were incredibly attentive and communication was very relaxed and easy. I can only recommend :)
Me and my friends loved the W.n.9 restaurant. Food is superb, the staff members are stars. We had a wonderful and unforgettable time. Hardly recommended
Just another overrated restaurant in Berlin. Very noisy, very loud music. The food was ok, but nothing special. Don’t call a corn soup ‚polenta‘, don’t call a desert made of cream ‚whipped panna cotta‘ and don’t call a Riesling Cabinet ‚Sweet Wine’. A bit weird: the dishwasher is in the same room, where oysters and the (raw) beef tartare is made. Also weird: the oysters - which are expected to be fresh - are floating in a container made of plastic (just the flesh).
We felt very comfortable here right from the moment we were personally greeted.
The ambiance is cozy, stylish, rather small, and relaxed.
The food we enjoyed was delicious and tasty. Very well seasoned and good value for money.
How nice that the restaurant has been around for 11 years.
I particularly enjoyed the Tafelspitz (boiled beef), which surprised me!
We'd love to come back!
The pizzas are exactly what I imagine American style to be. Lots of cheese and not too little toppings. The service is also very accommodating. I ordered the wrong thing and was refunded. Thank you!
