AMANO Chalet in Berlin

Perfect mix of city life and cabin magic! Our Christmas party at the Amano Chalet was an absolute hit! The climb in the elevator turned out to be a surprise: an enchanting chalet awaited us on the rooftop, which exuded a cozy ski hut atmosphere in the middle of the city. Beforehand we started in the courtyard with mulled wine and curling, which was perfect to get everyone in the mood. With real snow and an enthusiastic team, the atmosphere was unique. The food was delicious, the drinks were first class. The Amano Chalet proved to be the ideal location for our après-ski theme. In short: everything is great! ⛷🎄🍾

Unfortunately, that was a very sad evening in December 2022 and the company Christmas party was a flop for me. Followed by an expensive cold. But no wonder if the location is only heated with a large hot air dryer and the back door (to the kitchen) is always open and lets in cold air. - The starter with homemade bread was rustically delicious. The fact that the melted cheese for the main course came to the table more or less cold (and somehow tasteless) and that - for whatever reason - the oil pot that was served at the same time without a regulator quickly made it clear that fondue amateurs that evening were at the start. It took forever until the cheese was finally edible. Meanwhile, the oil in the other pot was constantly overheating due to the lack of a regulator and the fuel paste burned out within a very short time. Meanwhile, the bread that came with it had long since cooled down and was inedible. The fact that we were served on an endlessly long, far too narrow table with correspondingly limited freedom of movement and confusing confines was almost irrelevant. - Anyone who has ever enjoyed a Swiss fondue in Chalet Suisse in Dahlem can only escape here. The price quoted is typical tourist rip-off!
