An Authentic Egyptian Culinary Experience – Highly Recommended! I had the pleasure of dining at Koshary Cairo and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with warm hospitality and an inviting ambiance that truly reflected Egyptian culture. The menu offered an impressive selection of authentic dishes, and each one was bursting with flavor. I especially enjoyed Koshary Bel-Kharouf, which had the perfect balance of spices and textures.

Koshary was super tasty, we had it in the vegan version. We got tips on how to eat it best. Definitely come back

The only place in Berlin that I’ve tried over the last 1.5 weeks that genuinely deserves 5 stars, the dish that we got was amazing, they give you three sauces to try with that and it makes the whole dish come together! (Name of the dish - Koshary Bel Kharouf) Very welcoming owners, looks like a family run business. Definitely stop by!

Ok, this is the most authentic Koshari I ever tried in Berlin! I just have some suggestions for improvement: starting from the taste: it would be maybe tasty for someone who never tried Koshari before, but for an Egyptian it lacks a lot. The “ward” (friend onions) was not fried well. It was not crispy and was rather soaked with oil. This didn’t allow its taste to fuse properly in the red sauce, which is responsible for giving the main Koshari aroma. Also the tomato sauce was too sweet! The service was friendly but one thing was for me not OK. You can find clearly a symbol of Mastercard and Visa on the door, but when you get to pay, they tell you “sorry, machine is not working”! Very frustrating!

Just amazing taste of Koshary :)

I went to Koshary Cairo for the first time yesterday (Sunday) to eat koshary and unfortunately the experience was disastrous. The dish (what felt like) only had a small spoonful of lentils and no chickpeas, although these are essential for an authentic koshary. Instead, the dish consisted mostly of pasta, spaghetti and a bit of rice served with lots of sauce. A price of €9.90 was charged for this inadequate and unbalanced meal. This is definitely not Koshary as I know it. Too bad about the money. I am extremely disappointed and will not be coming back and will definitely not recommend it to others.

Unfortunately, anything but good. Got a completely charred pita. Even uncharred, the taste would unfortunately be poor and I don't understand the 4.9 rating at all. Unfortunately, this was a one-time thing.

The food is incredibly delicious. So rich in flavor, spices, beautifully prepared! It's so worth it for the food alone. Egyptian food served exactly as it is in Egypt. A unique experience to taste Egyptian food. A variety of vegetarian options was available as well. The food was more than wonderful, the waiting period was short, and the treatment was very classy. Very friendly staff, clean, family atmosphere, comfortable decor, and of course I will never forget the generous hospitality we received. I can only highly recommend visiting Koshary Cairo and of course I will visit again very soon!

It was our first experience trying Egyptian food so the owner really took his time to explain the dishes, which helped a lot with making a decision of what to order. The food itself was delicious, we ordered the Koshary with Lamb and Hawawshi with grilled vegetables. Definitely visit on an empty stomach!

Favorite Food! Beautiful location, everything very new and Egyptian decorated. We are always served very well and it tastes phenomenal! I could eat koshary every day. Price-performance top! I was in Egypt last year traveling around and eating Koshary at every Koshary place I could find. It tastes amazing and exactly the same as I remember it. In addition to it the people preparing it are the absolute sweetest!! I would highly recommend it! Mega lecker! Danke euch :)

After a nice welcome and subsequent advice, I was excited about this interesting dish Koshary. Even if the ingredients don't normally come together like this, this creation makes sense and is fun. I enjoyed it. The dumplings filled with halloumi were almost even better. The only point is that the portion should have been larger and a little warmer. But it could also be that I was just too hungry. Definitely worth a visit, a very worthwhile change in the Berlin foodie jungle!

As the name suggests, Casino Koshary has a very decent Koshari. The portion size is also stable for €10. The owner is super friendly and personable and he also briefly explained the dishes to us.
