A true taste experience; we'd never eaten it in this combination with the sauces before. We tried all the dishes as a group, and everything was absolutely delicious. The young man advised us on the best way to eat it, considering the sauces...incredibly delicious. And freshly prepared. Large portions and very reasonably priced. We'll definitely be back.

The menu is small with two main courses, but these can be customized with beef, chicken, or lamb. Lovely ambiance and the food is very good, highly recommended 👍🏼

Really great place! Simple but absolutely authentic and delicious fare. It's all clearly homemade, fresh, and with love, service is very friendly. If you've never tried koshary, this is the place to do it, you'd have a hard time finding a better one in Cairo! The hawawshis are also well worth trying.

Koshary is amazing. The sauces, the service! I actually recommend the vegan option; you can barely taste the meat. I wasn't that impressed with the rest of the meal. Koshary is fine. I'm still trying to figure out how often I have to come for the waitress to remember my name.

Egyptian Koshri in Berlin. Couldn't believe it when my German friend told me we will try Egyptian Koshri in heart of Berlin. The place decorated in such funky Pharos stuff and staff were so nice and friendly as you feel back in Egypt. AHH, we had veg Koshri and meat Hawawshi pies. The food was made with love, care and cane warm and was super delicious. The howawshi meat pie was super delicious too. I couldn't resist to order another one, but as the quantity were large we couldn't finish the second pie, followed by an Egyptian tea with mint.. was such a real lovely experience.. Highly recommended if visiting Berlin and would like such lovely Vegi meal, authentic delicious treat. There were other options of different additions to Koshri. Like with chicken, meat or liver. They also have white Egyptian pudding which is must try too if you aren't full. Which I doubt very much. Thank you very much for such lovely meal, excellent service and welcoming in your restaurant.

Got recommended by an Egyptian friend to try this place, since they said it has the authentic taste. I ordered the koshary plate with lamb, and I must say it tastes good! It reminds me of how Indonesian cooks their pasta. The portion is quite big, so if you don't eat a lot, probably makes sense to share it or maybe order their sandwich instead. The owner is very friendly. The place is comfy and decorated with aesthetic egyptian ornaments. Will definitely come back again.

As someone who’s far from home and miss Arabic authentic food, this place had the best Koshary i tried “so far”! Might sound like an exaggeration but to me it was truly so.. If you ever wanted to try Koshary then start here, what even makes it worth your while is the kind hospitality of its owner Mr.Alaa, which made the place feels like home . Thanks a lot!

I recently revisited after a friend recommendation and my experience was significantly better. The service was much faster this time, and the food was prepared promptly. The portion sizes are still small, but the taste was definitely improved. A much better experience than before!

The only place in Berlin that I’ve tried over the last 1.5 weeks that genuinely deserves 5 stars, the dish that we got was amazing, they give you three sauces to try with that and it makes the whole dish come together! (Name of the dish - Koshary Bel Kharouf) Very welcoming owners, looks like a family run business. Definitely stop by!

Ok, this is the most authentic Koshari I ever tried in Berlin! I just have some suggestions for improvement: starting from the taste: it would be maybe tasty for someone who never tried Koshari before, but for an Egyptian it lacks a lot. The “ward” (friend onions) was not fried well. It was not crispy and was rather soaked with oil. This didn’t allow its taste to fuse properly in the red sauce, which is responsible for giving the main Koshari aroma. Also the tomato sauce was too sweet! The service was friendly but one thing was for me not OK. You can find clearly a symbol of Mastercard and Visa on the door, but when you get to pay, they tell you “sorry, machine is not working”! Very frustrating!

Just amazing taste of Koshary :)

I went to Koshary Cairo for the first time yesterday (Sunday) to eat koshary and unfortunately the experience was disastrous. The dish (what felt like) only had a small spoonful of lentils and no chickpeas, although these are essential for an authentic koshary. Instead, the dish consisted mostly of pasta, spaghetti and a bit of rice served with lots of sauce. A price of €9.90 was charged for this inadequate and unbalanced meal. This is definitely not Koshary as I know it. Too bad about the money. I am extremely disappointed and will not be coming back and will definitely not recommend it to others.
