Mr. Grill Berlin in Berlin

I live near this grill and only went there today for the first time. I was immediately struck by their good humor and willingness to help me understand the menu. The food was delicious, freshly grilled. As per tradition, lemon juice and olive oil are always available on the tables. The sumac, which you can drizzle on your dishes as you like, is fantastic. Highly recommended!!!!

Restaurant owner Al-Jubeir: Bad, bad, bad. His treatment of the workers is very bad! I swear to God, when I come to eat, I see his treatment and his mentality! I don’t even feel like eating anymore.

Hello, I was at your place last week and ordered two lamb skewers and rice with lamb and eggplant. It was simply disgusting. The rice was old, the meat was old, cooked at least two days before and then simply reheated. The soups also look like that, nothing fresh. You can't keep guests like that. I won't pay for that again. Never again Mr. Grill.

Fantastic kebab here. We had the traditional iraqi kebab sandwich and it was really delicious. The meat was very well seasoned and juicy and really good quality. Very good place to enjoy a nice kebab or shawarma and quite specaious inside.

One of the worst Iraqi restaurants, the worst restaurant in Iraq. They make better food than us, but the service is terrible, terrible, terrible. I swear I don’t recommend it to you at all. As for the Iraqi sausage, the meat is strong and inedible. I will never try it again in my life.

The shawarma is absolutely perfect and delicious. But it wouldn't be better without that black sauce. Biryani is made with lots of turmeric. Falafil isn't special.

I was eating and then I saw big Rats 🐀 that were under the chairs and we told the worker that there was a rat but they didn't react and were acting like this is normal. Yes it was indoor and thanks very much that you are taking my review seriously I really appreciate it.

Took a very long time even though there weren't that many people there. The food came cold and the meat smelled so disgusting 🤮 my dish cost 16 euros on the menu. But he charged 19 euros instead. Never again.

The food here is amazing, but I’d say that is true for most places on Sonnenallee. What you come back for are the people. The service here is just the best. They are always super friendly and very welcoming. They actually have quite a few vegetarian options as well. I had the Maqluba for the first time today, absolutely amazing. The portions are huge, very good value for money.

If you're looking for truly authentic Arab-Iraqi cuisine, this is the place for you. I've only had such good food with Iraqi bread and sauces in Iraq. The staff were all very friendly 💕 I was just a shame not being able to buy the delicious bread like you would at a bakery, because their samun bread is unique 🇮🇶

The experience wasn’t great. The food—especially the freshly baked bread—was delicious and authentic. However, the service was disappointing. When we arrived, we were ignored despite the crowd, and no one acknowledged or guided us. After seating ourselves and waiting a long time, someone finally told us to order at the counter, even though others were ordering and being served at their tables. We ordered a lot of food, which tasted good, but the staff continued to overlook us while promptly serving others. We requested takeaway packaging, but were ignored again. Others who came after us were even offered tea, while we weren’t asked at all. It’s a shame such good food was paired with such poor service. I hope they improve their hospitality and treat all guests equally.

Not recommended; very poor and cheap meat quality, consisting only of fat, and the first bite was full of cartilage (grilled kofte in a sandwich), and the mezze was very tasteless, only the bread was OK, nothing more. We didn't finish our food, leaving almost everything behind.

Everything was so good i think by far this has to be the best iraqi shawarma i had in Germany and the appetizers were also so good . The staff are really friendly and helpful especially Aros . Totally recommend!

Unfortunately, I've repeatedly had the experience that the staff at the shawarma spit don't seem very friendly. The interaction seems rather distant, sometimes even unwilling. That's a shame, because service makes up a large part of the overall impression! However, I would like to highlight the cashiers; they always treat you with kindness and respect. We were kind of unlucky. I've been there several times. This time the chicken skewers were just dry. Unfortunately. The service is super friendly. The food is good, but this review is honest. I'll go back and hope it tastes the same as I used to.

I ordered a plate of schwarma with sauces. However, there were no sauces or anything similar. The meat was extremely dry, and the only edible thing was the fries. It's a shame that you don't even get what you order. Very disappointing.

The food is wonderful, tastes great that the place is fully booked because of that. Unfortunately my bag with sensitive data, money and equipment got stolen in front of at least 4 (surveillance cameras) and so i asked the employees to show me the recordings or help me in any way possible, they started telling me some crap that the system has a password and the person responsible is driving and can’t help at the moment so I waited (apparently the guy is driving on the highway to hell) well they acted like someone complicit I went to the police and made a report, apparently the shop is a pickpocket’s hotspot. As i came back later a guy from the workers negotiated with me to get me the bag back if I paid a 100€. Later got informed that this guy is complicit with a guy hanging out around the shop and stealing stuff.. I understand that it might be my fault that I wasn’t careful, but this shop’s managers aren’t trustworthy..
