It's a nice place. The menu suits our taste. We went specifically for the hummus. Along with hummus, we also ordered roasted potatoes and beet roots. Portions are smaller than normal but the taste is superb. The bread is warm and very tasty.

The setting is very unusual, the dishes are delicious. The cuisine perfectly combines the different flavors, the result is incredible. Special mention to the humus and bread, one of the best I have ever tasted I would come back without hesitation

We had a great lunch experience in a separate room on the occasion of a private birthday. The table was lovingly set and the atmosphere was pleasantly private. The service was attentive and friendly. The food was not only tasteful but also beautifully presented - perfect for sharing so everyone could enjoy whatever they wanted. Completely successful!

Very tasty Israeli tapas and very nice service

Tiny bite-sized portions that are not justified by the price, no pita bread was served, hummus tasted very watered down. If you want to eat a meal and be satisfied better go some other place..

You can leave the flea market charm aside but the food was world class! Great dishes and everything tasted great. Hummus: Hummus has to be creamy and I have rarely eaten such creamy hummus: great consistency, strong! Price-performance absolutely fine!

It's best to make a reservation in the evening, otherwise you'll have to wait a bit and you might not get the best table. The food and service are both great.

Very cozy restaurant with a relatively small menu, but it packs a punch! It's best to order two to three dishes per person and then share them together. The shop is very popular - reservations are advisable. Particularly noteworthy are the nice employees.

I can confirm a previous guest's review. We weren't served either, and I also felt a passive-aggressive vibe from the employee with brown hair. After about 15 minutes. Wait, we left frustrated. Even though I really enjoyed the food on a previous visit, I don't feel like getting involved in such unkind hospitality again.

We loved our evening at Cafe Pilz! We‘ve been multiple times to Pilz and it has never disappointed: the staff is friendly, service is quick and the food and drink‘s quality is amazing! We can recommend every dish on the menu, but especially the hummus, the cauliflower and the kalesalad (caution: spicy!) are gorgeous. If you‘re looking for a cozy atmosphere, great food and drinks and all of this with very reasonable prices: you found your place to go.

Best Israeli vegetarian food in a relaxed Berlin atmosphere

Incredibly silky and creamy hummus, best Muhammara I‘ve had in Berlin and Labneh to indulge in. Yalla 10/10, honestly was amazed by how good it was. Also, the bread? So delicious? Idk what they are doing to it but just order extra bread, so good. Will definitely come back. 🙂‍↕️

Everything we ate was delicious, but the portions are small in relation to the cost. It’s a place to order many things and share like Tapas.

The food is super delicious, I’ve tried different places that offer hummus and other aubergine dips, but this one is by far one of my favourites. I also couldn’t believe that the Labneh was vegan, it really tasted like normal Greek yogurt. The only negative point is that we usually have to wait 20min WITH reservation, which is quite terrible. Especially since the entrance is very narrow and there is a lot of movement, so you just feel super awkward and uncomfortable… And on top of that, we also got asked to leave cause some other clients were waiting for our table, even tho we barely stayed for 1h 😅

Super delicious!! Simple and cozy. and not expensive

I have been frequenting their restaurant and bistro for a while now, but renting their private space for a pre-NYE gathering still added that extra bit of magic dust to the equation. We were 17 (the room officially has space for up to 18), had ample space, and ordered about 3 times the whole menu plus some for a family style dining experience. I can recommend their orange wine (not the Georgian, the other choice) highly, the wine selection is pretty nice overall though, and their food was other worldly as always with elaborated flavor and texture profiles. Super friendly and attentive waiters, needless to say everyone had a memorable and wholesome night and the final bill came out way cheaper than expected. 10/10, really couldn't have asked for more.

Hands down the best hummus I've had till date. Nothing beats it. Bread complimented the super-hummus really well. The portion sizes are small which i really like. This doesn't make you feel full till the brim. So just perfect. There is a really nice person behind the counter who makes drinks. Thanks to him for a great service 🙏

Super tasty and cheap! We had many small dishes and each one was uniquely delicious! The coconut pudding dessert was unbeatable, so creamy and flavorful. You can tell that the ingredients are of very high quality. Highly recommended!

Amazing israeli food and minimal but good wine selection. Place is cute and cozy but on Saturday gets easily packed and you might have to seat on a high chair and share the table. Still worth the visit even on busy day as food and service are top notch.

The Café Pilz in Berlin is a real insider tip! The Israeli tapas are incredibly tasty - you'll need to try three to really fill you up, but every bite is totally worth the price. I also had tea that tasted wonderful. Particularly impressive: Everything is sustainable and completely vegan. A great culinary experience that I can recommend to everyone. Delicious and unique!

We ordered almost the entire range of dishes and every single one was extremely tasty. The highlight was the lentil quinoa salad. The atmosphere and service were a bit lively and planned, so it's best to be a little more patient.

Food very tasty. Can only be recommended. But overall the staff is not really friendly and very inflexible. You can only order the food and drink that is on the menu.

an experience that sent my taste buds on a journey longer than my last vacation! The hummus here? So creamy that I would love to use it as a skin care product. The falafel? Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside – almost as if they had outwitted physics. And the eggplant? Let's put it this way: after the first bite, I spontaneously started learning Hebrew. The staff is so friendly that I almost thought I was having dinner with my grandma. If you don't leave here full and happy, you've definitely done something wrong. I'm thinking about bringing my tent next time!"

Lovely place! They are always packed but we were lucky as we dropped by late and got a place for two. Highly reasonable prices, Levantine food exploding with flavors and textures, warm atmosphere and friendly staff. For me, one of the best Levantine restaurants in Berlin, and I’ve tried the best of the rest. Great hummus, tahini, roasted aubergine, torn potatoes and home-baked warm, soft and salty bread.

It would be best if you make a reservation before you go. Since we went without a reservation, we waited for 30-40 minutes, but it was worth it. The environment is small and very friendly. The food is quite delicious. The service is very fast. I definitely recommend it.

Best Israeli restaurant I've tried in Berlin so far (only the hummus is a little better elsewhere, but that doesn't make it bad!) Unfortunately the door was left open the whole evening, so we were pretty cold because we were sitting right next to the entrance. Shouldn't be closed. OK. Stupid. But okay. I'll sit further in next time. Food was OUTSTANDING!!!!

Oh, what a lovely, cozy place. The food was delicious, the best lebneh I ever had in my life. The prices were really fair for the effort was put in; and the staff was positively so hospitable. Phillipe and Sachi were great hosts. I would strongly recommend this place.

I wonder if they actually cook or have a fridge, since all the food available at this place has neither undergone cooking or needs to be stored in a cool place. It's very basic, just enough to fill a vegan stomach.

The bread was heaven. We really loved all of the healthy vegan food options even though me and my friend often tend to opt for a good piece of meat. Everything was very flavourful and rich in taste. There were a lot of wine options and some typical German other drinks. Free tapwater is always a plus. The restaurant is small but cosy.
