Wirklich gutes Essen und ein wirklich schönes Lokal. Es ist immer voll, daher ist es schwierig, ohne Reservierung einen Platz zu bekommen. Denken Sie also daran, vorher zu reservieren.

Wir lieben diesen Ort! Wir sind wiedergekommen, weil es uns beim letzten Mal so gut gefallen hat. Super leckeres Essen und freundliches Personal. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Ein hübsches kleines Lokal mit köstlichen kleinen Gerichten, die sich perfekt zum Teilen eignen. Besonders gut haben uns die Kartoffeln und das warme Auberginengericht geschmeckt, beides war einfach köstlich.

Eine glatte 10/10. Köstliche und reichhaltige, rein vegane Gerichte, perfekt zum Teilen. Ideal für einen Abend mit Freunden oder ein romantisches Dinner. Absolut nichts auszusetzen, vom Brot bis zu den Getränken – einfach alles perfekt! Besonders empfehlenswert sind der Siniya-Blumenkohl und die beiden Desserts – ein Traum! Ich würde dieses Restaurant am liebsten küssen.

Das Essen war nicht gut, nur der Hummus war okay. Und das Brot war, für ein israelisches Restaurant, wirklich furchtbar.

War mit einem Freund zum brunchen da, der zu Besuch war. Waren direkt am nächsten Tag wieder da, und weil es so gut war 😇 Alles auf der Karte extrem gut. Minimalistisch, perfekt gewürzt, immer mit einem Twist der es gut ausbalanciert.

Sehr leckeres Restaurant mit aussergewöhnlichen Speisen. Die Portionen sind Tapas Groß und wir haben zu 2 vier verschiedene Gerichte bestellt die vollkommen ausreichend waren. Die Bedienung ist sehr nett und freundlich. Bezahlt haben wir mit Karte. Vielen Dank wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Essen war wie immer fantastisch. Die Leute waren herzlich und zuvorkommend. Wir waren zu sechst und haben viel bestellt, mussten aber nicht lange warten.

Muss man ihnen lassen: Das Essen ist echt gut! ABER, nachdem wir einen Tisch zugewiesen bekommen haben, haben wir 30min gewartet, bis man uns überhaupt wieder registriert und unsere Bestellung aufgenommen hat; es kam die Frage: „Wisst ihr es dann?“ Dass es ein Gericht nicht mehr gab, wurde uns erst gesagt, als der Rest schon auf dem Tisch stand. Der Service lässt eindeutig zu wünschen übrig: Ignoranz, keine Gastfreundschaft, man fühlt sich lästig und darf dann noch dafür bezahlen. Das Essen ist sein Geld wert, aber keinen Cent mehr. Wenn man keinen Wert auf Service legt und genug Zeit hat: gut, 3 Sterne.

Das beste Restaurant in Berlin und das beste Essen, was ich seit einer langen Zeit gegessen habe. Ich hoffe, ihr macht nie zu.

Das Essen ist gut! Einziger Nachteil: Man kann nicht reservieren und es kann etwas dauern, bis man einen Platz bekommt.

Oh, my god! Die einzelnen Gerichte sind so lecker! Wir haben uns durch die ganze Speisekarte geschlemmt. Hinterher waren wir über die niedrige Rechnung erstaunt, aber nach Prüfung mit dem super netten Personal war alles drauf. Kann ich wirklich empfehlen. V.a. das vegane Labneh ist der Kracher. Das beste Restaurant in Berlin mit fairen Preisen

Fantastisches Essen, toller Service. Wahrscheinlich das beste Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, das wir in den letzten Jahren auf Reisen oder in Großbritannien hatten. Die Portionen waren perfekt. Wir hatten Hummus (mit hausgemachtem Brot), Kartoffeln und Kohl sowie zwei Getränke. Wir verließen das Restaurant satt und zufrieden!

Gutes Essen und toller Service. Wir hatten eine super Zeit mit Freunden. Unbedingt reservieren, da das Restaurant meistens voll ist. Wir kommen bald wieder!

Sehr leckere israelische Kleinigkeiten, perfekt zum teilen, komplett vegetarisch. Entspannt unaufgeregtes Ambiente und sehr freundlicher Service. Alkoholfreie Getränke könnten spannender sein.

Nächstes Mal bestellen wir gleich zwei Mal die ganze Karte. Und das Rosenwasser-Dessert.. mhh.. Und der Petnat erst! Das alles wäre aber nichts ohne den aufmerksamen, superschnellen und kompetenten Service. Und die entspannte Wohnzimmer-Atgmosphäre. Danke Kathrin & Team für das tolle Geburtstagsdinner.

Hier gab es mit das beste Pita und den besten Hummus, die ich je in Berlin gegessen habe. Das Pita war frisch und fluffig. Auch die herzhaften und schmackhaften vegetarischen Salate und Beilagen waren lecker und sättigend. Meinem Partner und mir hat das Essen sehr gut geschmeckt. Man kann auch eine rote Chilipaste dazu bestellen, die hervorragend zu allem anderen passt.

Das Essen ist einfach mit unglaublich viel Liebe zubereitet… jedes Mal wenn ich in Berlin bin, komme ich vorbei! Es ist wie eine warme Umarmung von hoechster Qualitaet und durchaus preiswert! Danke ihr seid mein Favourite on this planet!!! 💙

long live cafe pilz! i honestly can recommend everything on their menu — we tried their new green beans on top of the usual (hummus, potatoes, etc) and it was simply delightful. 🤤 highly recommend their oat date syrup kukurma latte, a real treat during these autumnal seasons 🍂🍂🍂

Unfortunately all the dishes we ordered were served fridge cold. I guess if it would have been a little warmer it would have tasted better. The service was alright and at least the food was served very quickly.

Really yummy, chilled and unpretentious. We had some “golden milk with dates syrup” which was just perfect for an autumn day 😊 I really appreciate this place. The staff is friendly, gave us recommendations, jokes and smiles. Easy going nice vibes.

The food is great and I’ll probably come back, but I’m giving one star because they charge €0.30 for oat milk in coffee. It makes no sense at all for a place where all the food is plant-based.

Try the potatoes with herb aioli. And the hummus. And the spicy aubergine. Pro tip: come with 3 or 4 and just order the entire menu. The sharing plates concept really works at Café Pilz, besides, their wines – both conventional and natural, for the love of a chilled red – are niiiiice.

I rented the private room for the evening as part of my birthday celebration – a wonderful experience. The team goes to great lengths to create a very pleasant, comfortable atmosphere. Thank you so much! The food is always excellent!

I've been coming to this place often since it opened and it suprises to see that, although they've grown and opened other places and are increasinglypopular, the quality of the food has continued to be impeccable. Ingredients of quality, well curated and small menu, amazing wines, not pretentious... you can tell they care about their food. Keep it up Pilz!

Very tasty Levantine food, the wine was also good, though it was too cold when it arrived at the table. We had it for the time being. You can sit inside or outside, but it's very loud (like many Berlin restaurants, unfortunately, the acoustics are poor) and the tables are quite close together, so you can hear everything from the next table. So, it's more for social evenings than private conversations. Our highlights were the green bean salad and the cauliflower baba ganoush!

The food and atmosphere was so nice, we always love it! Service is very friendly, however we had to always go and ask, it was a bit slow, specially thinking that one can only rent the private room for 2.5 hours max, we expected things to move faster.. Overall it is a very nice location, maybe they need more staff because of the crowd.

Every time I go here, every single bite at this place is always a delight. It can feel a tiny bit disorganized but I think that's more due to the layout than the staff's fault, and they were lovely. Highly recommend ordering one of everything on the menu (except the potatoes. Always order 2x potatoes!)

Absolutely delicious. A vast and great selection of mezze to enjoy alone or with friends. Hummus was great and fresh, Zerrissene Kartoffeln were perfect and tasty, and the Brotsalat was also a highlight! The bread is absolutely divine. Very nice setting, if only a bit cramped if you're eating at the counter. Book a table in advance to avoid this issue altogether. The music is light and enjoyable. The service is fast and the crew is adorable. A great place!

A real discovery Café Pilz is not, as its name might suggest, a coffee house. Rather, it's a small, fine restaurant or bistro dedicated to Levantine cuisine, and it's quite something! Hummus, labneh, babaganoush, pomegranate-garnished dishes with bulgur (?).. Creamy, crunchy, spicy, sweet and sour, and everything fresh, colorful, healthy, and vegan (without making you feel like you're missing out on anything). Wow! The finest ingredients, refined with classic Middle Eastern spices, prepared with super freshness – and all at extremely reasonable prices. Add to that superb service, you get good advice, get to sample wines, and don't have to wait long (even when lots of people arrive at once...). Where else can you find something like this in Berlin? My absolute recommendation! We'll be back soon!

Never disappointed by Cafe Pilz - every dish is wonderful. Looking forward to going back! Make sure you book a table.

Worst service – good food can’t make up for that. We arrived as a big group to celebrate a friends birthday and the rude staff really ruined the mood for everyone. Every single staff member we spoke to had an attitude for no reason, was not helpful or friendly at all. When asking about hazel nuts for allergy reasons they freaked and said it’s rude to not mention that with your reservation already. She explained that they won’t clean the kitchen tools and other things again and can’t make sure there’s no nuts in any of the dishes. As we ordered the full menu twice as a big group they already knew in advance what we wanted so they kind of immediately served food before we even had a chance to order drinks. Oh and the whole thing about not standing outside on the pathway for a minute is just ridiculous. So maybe the tables should be ready on time to avoid that instead of calling people out for waiting for their table. Later that evening one staff member brushed one our friends by the shoulder when walking past calling him an a******. I’ve never experienced something like this before and therefore can’t recommend going there. That’s a shame, because the food itself is good. But at the end of the day you’re going out for dinner for the experience – and that’s one thing that Café Pilz clearly isn’t serving.

One of the best place where I ate. It's was so good that we came 2 times during our journey to discover the second part of the menu. The food is perfectly done and served by a warmfull team. Strongly advice this place to anyone who enjoy middle east food and sharing meals.

Very good food, but terrible mention for the service and welcome. I felt that I was disturbing the minute I arrived, I was asked to wait outside (I hadn't read the sign that said to wait outside, my fault) but the art and the manner.... The waiter addressed me in a very condescending manner. He then ignored me for about ten minutes, walking past me repeatedly, but took the time to go see everyone, take new orders, chat. Instead of kindly coming to warn me that there would be a wait (which I would have heard, with a smile). You can tell that some are better received than others. I felt humiliated! Fortunately the other waiters were pleasant, and the food was good!

Superb food, fantastic service, worth a detour

Highly recommended place! There were 3 of us and even though we didn't have a reservation, and it was all full outside, they managed to find us a seat at the counter. We ordered 5 dishes (+ free water and bread) and we were full at the end (so don't be scared if the portions seem small). They took us a little while to make the dishes but as soon as they arrived we understood why: each dish was taken care of down to the smallest detail and each one was bursting with flavors. But above all the thing we liked the most was the bread: warm, crispy outside and soft with a cloud inside, I'm still dreaming about it! The only thing I feel like reporting is the lack of air conditioning, and so it was a bit hot inside. But anyway you absolutely have to go there!

The dishes we shared were absolutely delicious and so was the wine! Super friendly service and loved the vibe.
