We walked by and saw a quite pleasant looking interior design. So we decided to go in. Now we now why they have such amazing reviews. Josip and Luka really know how to make you feel welcomed. We didn't have a full menu - the dish we shared (knödel) was great and the dessert even better (white chocolate/yogurt/cranberry cream). We will come back for a proper dinner & proper šljiva shots :) hvala momci!

Die Horn es un restaurante en Berlín. Fue muy popular. Se pone muy ocupado, así que es mejor reservar temprano. Puede ser muy ruidoso de los clientes. Hay un estilo rústico dentro del ambiente. Hay una buena elección de comida, entrantes, platos principales y postres. También hay una gran variedad de bebidas disponibles. Hay alimentos muy sabrosos suministrados que tienen una buena calidad y cantidad. El estándar de servicio era amable y eficiente. Los baños de los clientes estaban muy limpios.

A very pleasant place to spend an hour or three hours. Very pleasant server, top service. Quite a choice on the menu, possibility of drinking and/or eating. On the other hand, the dishes to share are a little expensive considering the portions.

As two very visibly queer people we felt at first a bit uneasy upon entering the restaurant to be honest, as we tend to associate a more "traditional" atmosphere with hostile behavior, through experience (even though I personally /like/ that style!). But we've already reserved a table as nothing else was available, otherwise we'd probably have passed the restaurant by. But this was all for the better: The waiter greeted us warmly and led us to a table (we were quite early in the evening, everything was yet empty) and took away our anxiety immediately. The menu is limited with only 2 vegan starters and 1 vegan main dish -- but these were absolutely amazing and did not feel limiting. We had the beetroot carpaccio and pumpkin ginger soup, and the beetroot + pumpkin dumplings (Knödel). I'm personally not even the biggest beetroot fan but this wasn't only good "despite" the beetroot but stunning in every regard. The salad that was served to the dumplings wasn't drenched in dressing but instead paired so well that it could stand on its own. Blown away! The service staff was incredibly kind and attentive and we felt very welcome. I'm definitely coming here again and very excited to see what's on the menu then!

We were thrilled by the Horn Berlin, there were 7 of us and we had reserved, which is also recommended! The variety of dumplings is simply impressive, and the pulled pork is an absolute highlight - so juicy, tender and perfectly seasoned. The large selection of vegan dishes is particularly commendable. We had the vegan platter which was prepared with such attention to detail and every component on it was a delight. The desserts are also to die for, especially the chocolate mousse - incredibly creamy and airy, the best we've ever tasted! The atmosphere is wonderfully cozy and the staff is super friendly and attentive. I imagine sitting on the terrace in summer would be wonderful. Absolute recommendation for everyone who appreciates good cuisine and a great atmosphere!

the horn berlin restaurant is really delicious! I come from Hoorn in the Netherlands and found it funny and interesting that there is a “horn” here too. There are lots of dumplings, and the vegan pumpkin dumplings are really great – really good and nicely seasoned! There are also plenty of vegan dishes, I had the vegan platter with fanned beetroot on vegan yoghurt, simply very good! Highly recommended, and I'll definitely come back the next time I'm in Berlin!

We were thrilled by the relaxed, cozy atmosphere and the super friendly service that took really good care of us. The menu is clear, but that's exactly what makes it special - every dish is thought out down to the last detail and put together creatively. You can tell that quality and taste are really important here.

I had already had my eye on it during my vacation in Berlin and finally decided to try it. The terrace is charming and intimate and the staff friendly and fast. Wide variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes. It's the first time I've had a good dinner in Berlin after so many greasy Wurst kebab and curry. - The cheese selection with cognac butter and grapes was delicious and had a very good quantity. It was served with super good German bread. - I was not very sure about ordering the beet main dish since I am not a big fan of this vegetable but I wanted to try the Knodel (their specialty) but finally I opted for it. I have never eaten a beet so delicious and so well cooked. Accompanied by Greek yogurt and pistachios. Knodel are like meatballs made with different ingredients to give them flavor. Even the arugula salad was good. - I don't usually order dessert but after two wonderful dishes I had to try the full experience. I opted for the rhubarb and raspberry rum crumble. It was the dish that surprised me the least (I didn't detect the essence of the rum). In general it is a very good option with quality product and very well cooked.

Nice, cosy atmosphere and interesting dishes with plenty options for vegetarians. It got a bit noisy inside and TV for football was out of place. Staff were friendly and perceptive. Would come again. And across there is a beautiful live jazz bar for a nightcap.

The menu is significantly smaller than advertised here online. When paying by card, an x% tip is recommended.

Invited to the family celebration out there and everyone aged 6 to 86 loved it. Special praise to the cook, who also delivered fried potatoes (grandma style) for the youngest children.

We enjoyed the food, atmosphere and outdoor seating so much we went back a second time during our week in Berlin. (Pics are from both dinners.) A wonderfully curated cheese plate with a beechwood that was worth the second visit alone. Roast beef and pork belly were both so tender. Desserts were both perfect endings. Lovely wine selection. Charming staff who are definitely kept on their toes when it's busy - which seems to be every night as we walked by! Truly - worth a visit!!

We were so annoyed that we didn't eat here. We passed it by because it wasn't open yet. On the way back we wanted to have a drink and were greeted very nicely. The menu offers something for everyone and sounds delicious. The ambience invites you to enjoy and linger and we will come back to try the food.

Beautiful garden under old trees. Manageable but varied menu - something for every taste, from meat to vegan. Potato salad, which the pub is known for, was very good. A little too much mustard for my taste, but that's definitely a matter of taste. The dumplings were indeed a culinary specialty that warrants a return visit. When it comes to beer selection, as a Franconian, the Bavarian and North German beer selection irritates me; I would have preferred something local from Berlin and/or the surrounding area. Still, highly recommended!

Great restaurant with very friendly service. We had reserved a table on a weekday evening, which we were happy about as it was very full from around 6:30 p.m. The selection of dishes is not huge, as the focus here is on the dumplings. However, there is a large selection of these and most are vegetarian. I couldn't make a decision so I chose the variation of five dumplings. All were very good. The service was also very attentive, friendly and quick. I will definitely come back and eat my favorite dumplings.

Sehr leckeres Essen - man findet originelle Knödelgerichte auf einer kleinen, aber feinen Speisekarte. Das Restaurant ist in einer Seitenstraße des Mehringdamms zu finden und ein echter Geheimtipp. Wenn die Terrasse eröffnet ist und man lauschig unter Bäumen sitzen kann, komme ich gerne wieder.

We actually wanted to go to an Italian restaurant... Searched on Google, The Horn was shown, 5 minutes walk, good reviews... reserved. The Horn is a cute, small restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. With the old wooden tables and matching chairs, it reminds me a bit of great-grandma's kitchen-living room when I was a child. The enamel dishes complete the memories of Grandma Erna. The menu is small and mainly vegetarian. The food is absolutely wonderful. Flamed goat cheese on lamb's lettuce, with a great dressing that doesn't overpower the salad. The dumplings that came with the main course are also a dream with mushroom ragout or baked beetroot and lime kefir. The service is warm and very friendly. You don't feel like a customer but rather a guest. We will be back! PS.: You have to ask yourself why it is called THE Horn.

In Berlin for the weekend, my priority was to find good German restaurants to eat specialties - especially Knödel and Gulasch, which remind me of my childhood. I was not disappointed at Die Horn, it was absolutely delicious!!! Honestly the best Knödel I've had in a long time, and the Gulasch was incredible. The icing on the cake: warm and pleasant atmosphere, friendly and fast service. I recommend!!!

Wir haben einen 70. Geburtstag mit 25 Personen im Die Horn gefeiert. Es war wunderbar: Essen und Getränke waren ausgesprochen lecker, der Service aufmerksam und freundlich. Auch die organisatorische Vorbereitung lief reibungslos. Ein großes Dankeschön an das ganze Team!

Bewertung gilt erstmal nur für die Drinks (Bar). Die Jungs an der Bar waren zu uns sehr nett und unterhaltsam. Haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt und hatten insgesamt eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre. Wir hatten Bier, Wein und Longdrinks, und alles war sehr lecker. Wir kommen wieder und nächstes Mal auch zum Essen, weil es auch sehr lecker aussah. Definitiv eine Empfehlung!

Belle découverte ! Les knödels, je ne trouve pas ça extraordinaire d’habitude. Mais ce soir, c’était la révélation ! Pleins de saveurs, pas secs, et certains fourrés au fromage. Un délice ! J’ai pris en dessert le crumble : je me suis régalée. Et pour finir : une eau de vie de poire. Diner sans fautes dans une ambiance cosy, idéal pour l’hiver !

Die zu allen Speisen gereichten außergewöhnlichen Knödelvarianten waren ausgesprochen lecker und passten zu den Beef-, Chicken- und veganen Hauptzutaten... Der Service war schnell, freundlich und kompetent. So fügte sich alles zu einem herrlichen Abend.

Bin extra aus Speyer gekommen um die Mousse zu essen. Die leckersten zwei Sekunden meines Lebens.

Very cozy place, great food and sweet staff!

The worst experience in my neighborhood. We came for the dinner. Terrace looks good. We ordered red beet dish and salad mixed with mushrooms and chicory. The salad was awful: bitter taste, bad and poor dressing, not consistent mix of veggies. I gave it back with review and request to change for other dish. The waiter came to me with answer that chief tasted it and said that everything good and it has dressing and right taste. She told me that she will bring my plate back. I rejected and told them that I wouldn’t eat or pay for bad food. At the end I got a full bill and no excuse. Also she was pretty rude. I paid only drinks and we left. This way to treat the guests is unacceptable and we left on a bad note. I would never come back and don’t recommend this place.

Man sitzt sehr schön, die Kellner*innen sind freundlich. Das Roastbeef und die Knödel sind absolut Spitze. Einen Stern Abzug gibts für das Hähnchen: das war leider viel zu fettig. Wäre gut gewesen, das mal auf dem Zewa abtropfen zu lassen. Trotzdem absolute Wiederholungsgefahr.

I didn't think bacon & peach would be my top combination, but Burrata here is just heavenly!! Also tried the green melon Gazpacho. It was exactly what we needed after 35degrees day. Tastes uncommon and so fresh! Smily positive people and enjoyable atmosphere. We will return for sure.

Gazpacho und frittierter Pfirsich als Vorspeise, Matjes und Ziegenkäse im Hauptgang waren eine tolle Erfahrung. Probiert unbedingt einmal die hausgemachte Mayonnaise. Preislich geht es in Ordnung für diese Qualität. Wir würden alles so wieder essen. Die Karte ist klein, aber das ist ja eher ein Qualitätsmerkmal. Die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam. Wir waren im Aussenbereich gesessen, war sehr beschaulich.

Very tasty experience! We shared the peach burrata appetiser, which was really the winner of the dinner. It was perfectly mixed with sweet and salty. I ordered the beet root main dish with knödel. The beet root was cooked thoroughly and served with a yogurt sauce; although I found the knödel bit dry for my taste. At the end we ordered the peach rum dessert and it was also very tasty.

Nettes Restaurant mit Kneipentouch für Alt und Jung. Plätze gibt es drinnen und draußen, die Kleinen können sich Spiele ausleihen. Speisekarte umfasst nur sehr wenige Gerichte, aber die sind exzellent zubereitet und schmecken richtig lecker. Preise sind gehoben, was nicht so ganz zum Kneipenambiente (auch wenn es die Historie hergibt) passt, daher die 4 Sterne. Service aufmerksam und nett, aber unpersönlich (Geschmacksache). Alles hygienisch - danke für einen schönen Abend!

Der Service war super freundlich, das Bier war frisch und lecker, unser Essen kam zügig. Super hübsche Terrasse…danke für den Abend.

Die Scones waren ebenso von gestern wie die Quiche. Rosinen Stones fast ohne Rosinen, und auch ohne Creme oder Ähnliches. Also nichts frisch, außer der kleinen Salat-Beilage. Aber für zwei MilchKaffee, 2 Scones, ein Stück Quiche mit kleiner Salat Beilage 23,50 €. Das ist einerseits zu wenig, andererseits zu viel!

Sehr süßer Laden :) Service wirklich outstanding! Die Vorspeisen, hatten Bruschetta und Buratta mit Pfirsich waren vorzüglich. Die Knödel sind auch sehr lecker und zu empfehlen.

Fantastic place where you can enjoy gourmet dumplings (Knödel). I had them with an exquisite carpaccio. Lovely atmosphere under trees and the staff are ace. Dog friendly!

Super Laden, der Außenbereich ist sehr schön gestaltet, und durch den verkehrsberuhigten Bereich ist es auch recht ruhig. Die hier arbeitenden Menschen sind sehr freundlich und beraten gerne welche Speisen die Küche zu bieten hat. Es gibt Bier vom Fass, sowie guten Kaffee und leckere Saftschorlen. Alles in allem kann ich "die horn" sehr empfehlen.

Das Essen war herausragend, großartige Interpretation der Gerichte.

Das vegane Knödelgericht war super lecker wie auch der Kartoffelsalat. Schöne Atmosphäre, netter Service und richtig guter Wein!
