What a gem! If this restaurant were in Prenzlauer Berg, it would cost twice as much, and you wouldn't get a table without a reservation (both rightly so). It's important to know that reservations are absolutely necessary, otherwise you might find there's no table available. You certainly wouldn't expect to find a restaurant like this in a community garden.

Very attentive service, never at a loss for a witty remark. The food is primarily vegan, but can be enhanced with meatballs, fish, or schnitzel. The vegan ice cream, especially the hazelnut ice cream, was a particular hit with the vegan children at our table. We're looking forward to Boxing Day at Bollenpiepe.

Tucked away in a green setting, the Bollenpiepe crew brings years of experience from Kopps in Mitte to the northeastern outskirts of Berlin, serving delicious vegan dishes – and, upon request, animal-based side dishes. Add to that exceptionally friendly service: simply top-notch!

I've eaten there three times now. This time it was to celebrate my belated birthday. We had a pretty diverse group: vegans, vegetarians, and meat-eaters. Everyone was happy, especially the first two groups :-) If you enjoy a good laugh, you'll love the two waiters. I was extremely satisfied. Instead of a lengthy menu, there are a few dishes. These are vegan or vegetarian. Meat can be added upon request. The food is very tasty and garnished with herbs. The prices are reasonable. Definitely recommended. The restaurant is located in the clubhouse of an allotment garden in Berlin Pankow-Rosenthal, near the Pankow Botanical Garden.

Fantastic new restaurant! A creative, committed and cheerful team providing super tasty food. Best of all: they really know their gluten and help celiacs have a safe and tasty gluten-free meal. Slight update: it seems success has come at a price. At a subsequent visit, questions about gluten in the food were answered rudely and unhelpfully. My enthusiasm has cooled considerably.

What a great find. Who would have thought such a great restaurant would be in a garden colony? It was truly fantastic. A small but fine menu. Good wine recommendations, great food, and great service. You won't find the classic currywurst with fries or bockwurst with bread here. Instead, you'll find great salads, delicious soups, and main courses, served with both vegetarian and fish or meat. A reservation is highly recommended.

The food is a discovery. Fresh, creative, and colorful. Decorated with very special herbs. It's either vegan, or, if you prefer, with fish or meat as an add-on. The pea risotto was delicious (for me, the saltiness was a bit too high, a matter of taste), and beautifully presented. Rhubarb ice cream was excellent, better than the rhubarb pudding for me. A hidden gem on the outskirts of Pankow. With a lovely terrace. You can even park your car right there. The menu features vegetarian delicacies. If you want meat, you'll have to order it separately (at a rather hefty surcharge). Better off sticking with plant-based fare. A glass of fine Pinot Gris is a fair €5.50 for 0.2 l. Reservations are easy (via email) - the phone isn't working right now. Payment by card is OK, but please have cash on hand for the tip for the friendly service crew.

The Bollenpiepe is simply fantastic. Anyone who knows exactly what idealism means in the culinary arts will find what they like at the Bollenpiepe. All vegan, with the option of a perfect meat dish. If you like to treat yourself and value craftsmanship and product quality, you should visit this restaurant. Don't be put off by the somewhat complicated opening hours! The breaks are only for service breaks and are for the staff to take their time. You can stay seated and enjoy the weather or use the restroom. I find the concept modern and employee-friendly. The service staff and kitchen are ahead of their time. ☺️🍺☺️

Absolute insider tip for me. It's really a bit away but the journey is worth it. Because the food is clear proof that you don't always need a lot of chic, but simply fresh, good quality ingredients simply prepared to perfection. The menu is clear but sufficient and, although initially exclusively vegetarian, offers additional meat options if desired. The dishes don't need meat to be really good. The focaccia with garlic cream is particularly special. The location in an allotment garden area slows down the visit. The staff is attentive and friendly. The ambience is kept simple.

Finally a restaurant with typical Berlin charm. The ambience is just as rustic as the service. The food is excellent, innovative, tasty and with many different fresh ingredients a real treat for the palate. The concept of offering a vegetarian dish as a base and offering the meat/fish as an additional option is contemporary and brilliant! The children's plate is prepared just as lovingly as the "big ones" plates. Our 2-year-old ate the potato pancakes with vegetables with great appetite. We'll definitely be back.

We discovered this restaurant through an Instagram post and were immediately impressed. We got a place at very short notice and tried out the Easter menu there. Everything tasted wonderful. The service was extremely friendly and very competent. The location is also super cozy. The prices here are also really good for the great quality! We will definitely come back.

Since we had reserved seats with a group two weeks before Easter, we were initially told that eating ala carte would probably not be possible. But we were pleasantly surprised because the menu cards offered a large selection! Starters, main courses and desserts. In addition, there is even a multi-course Easter menu. The large plates were not arranged to be particularly pleasing to the eye but were well filled. (That means rich and chic.) Without exception, everyone enjoyed it excellently. And since only a few had an appetizer, almost everyone was able to finish. (The quality was also good!) Last but not least, the service should be mentioned. Although the two gentlemen had written everything down, they still had all the orders in mind and could therefore - without asking - give everyone their own. Hey, what more could you want? Parking spaces in front of the door? Yes, there are! Because in the garden colony there is obviously no big city traffic, as is otherwise usual here. Finally, I would like to leave open whether the restaurant is accessible to disabled people. (If I remember correctly, everything is at ground level with no steps.) Finally, a quick word about the ambience. Although pictures and contemporary art decorate the rooms, subjectively I'm missing a little more colorful color to go with the nice, rustic color scheme.

You wouldn't expect something like this here: a great location with "allotment garden charm", but top cuisine at great prices. Harmonious vegetarian dishes with the option of ordering delicious meat or fish. But that's not really necessary, the dishes are well made and many of the ingredients come from the region or even the garden behind the restaurant. Pair it with a delicious “Berliner Berg” or a good glass of wine – it’s a good fit! The great team also fits the location! Hopefully this will stay with us for a long time - so far it's perfect!
