I've rarely eaten anything so delicious. We chose the three-course Easter menu. Each course was an explosion of flavor and a feast for the eyes. The staff was also very attentive and friendly. I'll definitely be back! 🤤

We ate here for the first time today. They had a three-course Easter menu. Incredibly delicious. The vegetarian starter was a revelation. The rabbit leg meat was so tender, accompanied by amazing mashed potatoes. And then came the real highlight for me. The dessert brought back a childhood memory that couldn't have been more perfect. The rhubarb tasted just like my grandmother's compote. And then there was the fun and very relaxed staff. I'm in love.

An unexpected gem in the allotment gardens... Better than any fancy place in the city center. Top-notch in terms of both craftsmanship and taste (vegetarian, of course ;) ). But the chicken breast schnitzel was also the best we've ever had. Tip: The chicory salad is delicious! We'll definitely be back.

Upon entering, one immediately notices the almost contagious contentment at the tables: people gazing at their plates with expressions of quiet bliss. This is usually a good sign—and here, the first impression is spot on. The ambiance is simple and unpretentious, fitting for a garden club's clubhouse. But therein lies part of its charm: nothing tries to be pretentious, allowing the focus to remain entirely on what matters. The service is personal, attentive, and warm, without any hint of intrusiveness; the menu, drinks, and appetizers arrive promptly, and one immediately feels welcome. And with the first few plates, that feeling vanishes completely: the food is not only exceptionally good but also composed and presented with remarkable care. Whether vegetarian or with meat, every dish reflects a love for detail, a refined sense of texture and flavor, and a delightful passion for culinary sophistication. Even a seemingly simple garlic bread, lavishly topped with sprouts and herbs, becomes something unforgettable. Bollenpiepe is a place that impresses without any fuss: with warmth, meticulous craftsmanship, and a kitchen that offers far more than one might expect. The value for money is virtually unbeatable. If this place were in Mitte, it would be a hotspot for celebrities—but thankfully, it isn't. The honest, honest food that brings people together is the guiding principle here!

Dear Ms. Müller, if you don't know what you're talking about, you should probably refrain from making such claims. Since I got into a conversation with Mr. Krümel, I was able to see his production process for myself. And the only things that came from that factory are the machines that operate there. I'm sorry that Ms. Müller has no clue how to distinguish freshly prepared food from mass-produced goods. You lot are an honest and transparent bunch. Incredibly good food with fresh, seasonal ingredients. The vegetables were cooked to perfection—not too firm, not too soft. We ordered the garlic bread, the beetroot salad, and the dumplings. The apple and hazelnut dessert was equally outstanding. Fast, friendly service and a passionate kitchen staff. We'll be back! Reservations are essential; it was completely full even on a weekday evening.

Simply wow! I've been there twice with an older, small female dog who was immediately given her own water bowl. The waiters are very friendly and attentive. The food is so delicious that it deserves a Michelin star: both the dumplings with mushrooms and the apple dessert. Sensational. The menu is entirely vegetarian with the option to order meat. The premises, both inside and out, are very pleasant and beautiful, with fresh flowers on the table, and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. You wouldn't expect to find such a gem of a lovingly run restaurant nestled between allotment gardens and a botanical garden. We tried it based on the previous positive reviews. Thank you so much!!! It's definitely worth making a reservation there. Take a look at the menu and put together your own meal. Everything tasted great. I had cabbage with meatballs and garlic bread beforehand.

I don't usually give my name to Google, but it was so fantastic that I'm making an exception. It was my birthday, and we've actually been going to the Oderquelle restaurant for 20 years, but sadly it's no longer there. My friend suggested the Bollenpiepe, so we went, and I can wholeheartedly recommend it: the food was superb, the service was excellent, and the fireplace created a lovely atmosphere.

We came on a recommendation and weren't disappointed. This is what dining out should be like. You can feel the passion for providing excellent service and the joy of ensuring guests have a delightful evening without any unnecessary fuss. And then there are the dishes themselves. There were only four of us, so I couldn't try everything. But I would have loved to, given the delicious dishes I did sample. They were so good that we've already made plans to return. Great place, really special food, you don't usually get anything like it in northern Berlin. There's also lovely outdoor seating in the sun, which can be easily combined with a trip to the Blankenfelde botanical garden.

Fantastic new restaurant! A creative, committed and cheerful team providing super tasty food. Best of all: they really know their gluten and help celiacs have a safe and tasty gluten-free meal. Slight update: it seems success has come at a price. At a subsequent visit, questions about gluten in the food were answered rudely and unhelpfully. My enthusiasm has cooled considerably.

The kitchen was also incredibly well-organized, which isn't always the case. The wine list, especially the open selection, wasn't really to our taste; that could use some improvement. The service was very friendly and warm, with a touch of slightly rough-around-the-edges Berlin charm. The ambiance could use some work; the decor doesn't quite live up to the food. However, the club-like atmosphere also adds to the relaxed vibe.

It's been on my list for ages. I finally made it today for Valentine's Day. The menu was absolutely delicious. One flavor explosion followed another. The presentation of the plates was also a dream. You don't expect that here. Kudos to the chef! We were greeted very cheerfully in Berlin dialect and were very well looked after throughout the entire meal. I'm a native Berliner myself, so we were on the same wavelength. We will definitely be back. That goes without saying. Keep up the good work. Highly recommended.

One of Berlin's best "underground" restaurants, offering seasonal and regional cuisine with high-quality ingredients and genuine Berlin service – friendly, humorous, and straightforward. They serve excellent craft beers from Berlin breweries and even Fassbrause (a type of German soft drink), also known as "Sportmolle" (or beer with Fassbrause, also known as "Potsdamer"). A must for anyone seeking an authentic Berlin dining experience off the beaten track. Highly recommended!

We had a large family Christmas dinner at Bollenpiepe today. The food was excellent! However, the service was an absolute disaster. Hectic and unprofessional. When we unfortunately had to inform them that some family members had to cancel at the last minute due to an accident, the staff were incredibly rude and intrusive, and we were almost thrown out. There's nothing negative to say about the food itself. Quite the opposite, in fact. But because of the abysmal treatment we received from the waiters, I would never eat there again. A real shame!

The service was lovely, the crew was great. The chairs, well, we didn't know how to sit anymore, they were very uncomfortable. The dishes were all fresh and delicious and looked good too, BUT: we can only afford this once a year, I personally find it simply too expensive. However, everyone should decide for themselves.

We were (for the second time) a large group of friends (about 35 people) who got together and enjoyed a truly wonderful Christmas dinner. The service was really bad, not in terms of speed, but in terms of behavior. The two waiters/servers were so incredibly rude and insolent towards us that we decided never to eat there again. You get the feeling you're just being processed; they let us keep our money, but we were expected to "finally pay" because they close at 10 pm! It's all about the way they're treated; and because of these two servers, we certainly won't be eating there again. And don't even try to tell me about "staff shortages," etc.; those kinds of people don't belong in the service industry... All the best to you...

Very attentive service, never at a loss for a witty remark. The food is primarily vegan, but can be enhanced with meatballs, fish, or schnitzel. The vegan ice cream, especially the hazelnut ice cream, was a particular hit with the vegan children at our table. We're looking forward to Boxing Day at Bollenpiepe.

I've eaten there three times now. This time it was to celebrate my belated birthday. We had a pretty diverse group: vegans, vegetarians, and meat-eaters. Everyone was happy, especially the first two groups :-) If you enjoy a good laugh, you'll love the two waiters. I was extremely satisfied. It's very easy to get there by car, as there's parking available, or by taking bus 107 or 124 to Nordendarena. From there, it's a comfortable 15-minute walk. Sybille

Instead of a lengthy menu, there are a few dishes. These are vegan or vegetarian. Meat can be added upon request. The food is very tasty and garnished with herbs. The prices are reasonable. Definitely recommended. The restaurant is located in the clubhouse of an allotment garden in Berlin Pankow-Rosenthal, near the Pankow Botanical Garden.

What a great find. Who would have thought such a great restaurant would be in a garden colony? It was truly fantastic. A small but fine menu. Good wine recommendations, great food, and great service. You won't find the classic currywurst with fries or bockwurst with bread here. Instead, you'll find great salads, delicious soups, and main courses, served with both vegetarian and fish or meat. A reservation is highly recommended.

The only thing that leaves a little to be desired is the ambiance, which still feels more like an old garden pub than a cozy and inviting garden restaurant, and doesn't yet match the aesthetics and dedication of the dishes served.
