Extremely delicious food with unusual combinations of ingredients and beautifully presented.

Two visits and always 5⭐️ Food, service, everything was great. I had my birthday dinner there with my family (13 people), and everyone was absolutely thrilled. We'll be back again and again...

You wouldn't expect something like this here: a great location with "allotment garden charm," but top-notch cuisine at great prices. Well-rounded vegetarian dishes with the option of adding delicious meat or fish. But that's not really necessary; the dishes are superbly prepared, with many ingredients sourced locally or even from the garden behind the restaurant. Pair with a delicious "Berliner Berg" (a German beer) or a good glass of wine – it's perfect! The great team also fits the location! Hopefully, this will stay with us for a long time – so far, it's been perfect!

You don't expect extremely good, high-quality cuisine with a lot of elements in this environment. Large variety of vegan and vegetarian dishes, which can be supplemented with fish or meat of your choice. I could have liked it a little spicier, but of course you can't please everyone on this point :) incredibly fair prices, even for the drinks!!

Today again in the Bollenpiepe - and once again very tasty and lovingly prepared. Plus the sun on the terrace and attentive service. Perfect, thank you very much and see you soon!

The food has absolutely its own character. Something really different and extremely tasty and very imaginatively arranged. Overall, we don't give it five but four stars. Here is the explanation: We have praised your store highly from all of our friends. When one of them just wanted to have a quick bite to eat with his 90-year-old mother a few days ago, you unfortunately didn't serve them, on the grounds that all the tables that were still free - and there were a lot of them - were supposedly reserved. That might be true, but let's be honest, you can't fool anyone into believing that all your reservations were posted at exactly the same time that evening, right ;-)? I mean to say: Where there is a will, there is always a way. Especially when an ancient mother just needs a little corner to munch on something tasty. Addendum February 2025: You are generously forgiven for this little thing with the little mother. You really do a fantastically good job. In the meantime, the old lady was able to enjoy your hospitality and she was also thrilled. With this in mind, continued success and see you soon👍

After a long time we made it to the Bollenpipit for the first time today and it won't be the last time! Why did we wait so long? We definitely missed something! In short: the reception was warm, informal and Stefan and Marcus made it something very special with their style right from the start! Keep it up! You are fantastic! Great service! We have rarely received such good advice! And the food was excellent too! We were able to enjoy three courses. Everyone completely convinced us and the eye was also rewarded. Clear recommendation! A gem in one of the largest allotment garden colonies in terms of area. The menu is varied, regional and seasonal. You can combine various vegetable creations with meat offerings as you like, a very good idea.

A lot of emphasis is placed on the quality of the food and even more classic dishes have that certain something. Everything was homemade with love. Top service, very helpful and warm and also fond of children. We were thrilled and would love to come back! Thank you! 🫶

We have lived in the complex for many years and have seen many restaurants come and go...But there has never been such great cuisine and such nice staff here! Marcus and his team bring so much love and variety. The menu is small but nice, because there is a lot of emphasis on quality rather than quantity! Depending on the season, the dishes change from time to time. And we are super happy that we can give away our home-grown organic vegetables here. It couldn't be more regional! The staff is incredibly relaxed and funny! We look forward to many more years with you!

We stopped by the Bollenpiepe for the first time today on the recommendation of friends. Our high expectations were fully met. The service is exceptionally family-friendly. As for the starters, the focaccia in particular was stunning. We were also impressed by the main courses of braised cucumber and chanterelles. Thank you for the fine enjoyment. Now we have to wait patiently for your well-deserved summer break before we will definitely come back to visit you again.

Delicious food and delicious beer!!! You can enjoy wines and also Prosecco;0) Staff to love! Toilets are always clean! If you don't feel comfortable there, it's your own fault! I forgot something very important! Mega dogs love.......

I ended up in this location by chance. There was a jazz evening that day, which was very nice. It's a clubhouse. A lot of effort was put into the food, which was served as a buffet, and was delicious. There was something for everyone and you could tell how much love everything was cooked with. The music was great, unfortunately the background noise of the people detracted from the enjoyment of the music, but it wasn't a concert. We would be happy to come back, even if the route is long and difficult to reach by public transport.

Service is loving, food is a dream

Simply delicious. Beautifully prepared, seasonal, large vegan selection, always fresh, extremely tasty herbs. Ice cream and dessert are also mostly plant-based. Extremely friendly, attentive service, yet a relaxed atmosphere. The boss always goes around in the evening and asks everyone how they liked it. Very personable. The prices are really reasonable in relation to the quality and are now almost cheap by Berlin standards. It's not without reason that the garlic bread is a perennial favorite, and yesterday we were particularly impressed by the braised cucumber. There are also seasonal drink specials on the board, try the homemade lemonade! Not easy to reach by public transport, but the parking situation is very good. I can only recommend Bollenpiepe and will always come back!

This restaurant is located in the middle of a lot of urban gardens in Berlin and the entire menu is created based on seasonal ingredients. So the moral is that you choose one of the main dish options and they are all completely vegetarian. I assume it all comes from the surrounding gardens. Then you may or may not add one of the animal protein options they offer. So there are options for everyone. The service was very quick and friendly.

We eat here regularly and no matter what dish we order, it is always absolutely delicious. Super well coordinated and beautifully prepared. There is so much emphasis on fresh food and it shows. We particularly like the concept of the menu, which opens up many options and you can eat exactly what you want. The service is simply warm, funny and courteous. Culinary discovery in Pankow Even if it is “just” a garden pub, this restaurant is different from many: creative cuisine that tastes good and makes you want to visit again, plus warm hosts... overall a great concept and an enrichment for the north. Definitely try it out!

Based on the reviews we had read, we expected good food, but the food exceeded all expectations. Lovingly prepared with an eye for detail, the dishes are actually reminiscent of very upscale cuisine. The taste was just as convincing as the look. The selection and quality of plant-based dishes will definitely keep us coming back quickly. We can only recommend the Bollenpiepe to everyone.

Cozy restaurant in the north of Berlin

The food was excellent! Everything was of very good quality, very creative and also pleasing to the eye. My star was the iced cucumber soup. Really great and not often seen concept.

Every time I eat here I’m equally surprised: What is food THIS good doing in this remote location in between these Kleingartens? The quality rivals some of the high end restaurants in Mitte - it’s just excellent. Excellent vegetarian options, friendly and helpful staff, child friendly atmosphere.

If I could give this a higher review, I would as it has to be one of my favorites. This is a seasonal restaurant so the menu changes with the season. If you've never had a foodgasm, this place might very well take your 🍒. Made with much attention, the craftsmanship, art, love, and quality they put into it is something else. The price is completely reasonable for what it is. The service was one of the most friendly and attentive I've experienced in Berlin. The atmosphere is a mix between regal, quality, casual and family friendly.

Great meal in a very relaxed atmosphere! Beautifully located in the bike tour neighborhood of Lübars/Tegeler Fließ/Botanischer Volkspark Pankow. The food is great: a clear but exquisite selection, fresh, top-quality cuisine rich in herbs, delicious vegan dishes, but also fish and selected meat dishes. We had pike perch with avocado, pike perch with chanterelles and before that the highly recommended iced cucumber soup and the homemade garlic bread with vegan aioli. Plus super nice service! We are looking forward to the next time!

Unusual ingredients for simple, familiar dishes. Delicious. A great chef and extremely friendly staff.

An incredibly great team and you can taste the quality of the food. Here we actually still cook everything that is possible. From chicken schnitzel to ragout fin or whatever else you can find on the menu. Conclusion: I can only warmly recommend the restaurant, it is also great for private events!

Herbivores don't have an easy culinary time in this area, which makes me even happier to find such good food in the Labyrinth allotment next to the clubhouse. Super friendly, cake was great too, and if necessary you can go there with Uncle Jürgen, there's also a real meatball. Unpretentious but really good cuisine. You won’t find Uncle Jürgen’s trigger word “vegan” here, smart decision. Secretly convincing people to eat a plant-based diet might work very well here :) In any case, I will plan my Sunday trips around the Bollenpiepe.

A delicious discovery in an unexpected place! Very creative and really tasty dishes that cleverly brought together a wide variety of vegetables, herbs, fruit and other vegan ingredients on the plate. We had reserved for a larger group and were served a great menu with nice service. All guests were thrilled! Gladly again.

Phew, how the whining of the catering industry annoys me. Today another example of “we are already rich”. After a long walk we pass the Bollenpiepe restaurant at 2:50 p.m. There are also a number of people sitting on the terrace. Great, there's a delicious cold drink coming soon. Maybe two. Not even close. At the entrance to the terrace there is a sign that says: Break until 3:30 p.m. When I asked the waiter who was bringing drinks to a table if that was true about the break, he replied, "Sure, otherwise we wouldn't write that down there." It’s also on the internet.” Really now?! If you open at 12 p.m. and close at 8 p.m., after 2.5 hours the entire team needs an hour break. Of course I know that you don't start working there until 12, but that food also has to be prepared. But why do you actually make the guests who were sitting at the other four occupied tables wait until 3:30 p.m. instead of at least bringing them drinks? Went to the table where the guests were sitting from before the break, yes after all. You're definitely leaving sales behind here. But it doesn't seem to be that important, what's more important is that everyone has a break together. It's a shame, you ended up directly on our index...

Arrived in time for siesta after a bike ride. I had a friend's recommendation for the Bollenpiepe, but it was even better than I thought. Imaginative cuisine enriched with many herbs, a real taste explosion. The extremely friendly service made my mood even happier. I sat outside. All the fresh greenery and sunshine made everything even more rounded. Very far for me but I'll be back.

We have already been to Bollenpiepe twice and can only recommend it. Service is great and the chef comes personally if you have questions about allergens or ingredients. The food is delicious. We will definitely be here more often. Keep it up!!!

Dear Bollenpiepe team, We would like to take this opportunity to say thank you very much. We had a birthday party with 36 people in the Bollenpiepe. It was a wonderful celebration all around. It started with uncomplicated planning and then continued with a great evening. The food was super tasty, very sufficient and just something refreshingly different. Everything was prepared and, above all, presented with love. Even the leftovers that we took home were decorated. The service team that looked after us throughout the long night was always unobtrusively present, super helpful, always had an overview of everything and impressed the whole evening with a friendliness that you don't often experience. We ate here for the first time today and only by chance. At first we thought, well, it would just be a canteen, but far from it! The menu is a bit extravagant and there is no canteen to be seen! The food was simply a 10 out of 10! No matter what it was about, whether it was the homemade garlic bread that really exceeded any expectations or the goulash with the dumplings that I had! No matter what you expected, things turned out differently, better. Simply absolutely recommended! The service, the kitchen simply 5 stars! It's a must experience, we'll definitely come back more often!

I had pre-booked a table and that worked out well. Very friendly and nice staff. The food was very tasty and prepared with a lot of love. The chef knows what he's doing. You wouldn't expect such a location to be found in a garden. We were there for Mother's Day with 7 people. Nobody had anything to complain about. Me and my wife will definitely come again. We discovered BOLLENPIEPE at the beginning of the year. We are very happy about another great restaurant with very good cuisine in our neighborhood. Every dish is a feast for the eyes, even in terms of color, and at least as tasty. The price/performance ratio is right. The service staff is extremely friendly and requests are taken into account. It's also nice when the chef/owner shows up in the dining room and has time for a little chat. We are looking forward to New Year's Eve and the next "Dance into May", which we really enjoyed...uncomplicated with the opportunity to dance.

Yesterday we went to the “Dance into May”. . . It was very well received and was well filled. Everything was perfect for us and there were five of us. We stayed until the end and went home in a great mood...

We were invited to the dance by friends in May and were really looking forward to this evening. Unfortunately, the evening was totally disappointing, the room was dark, not inviting, the service was terribly poorly organized, the staff at the makeshift self-service counter were completely overwhelmed with the orders. You had to queue for a long time and then wait forever for the drinks. The terrace area should not be used at 28 degrees. You had the opportunity to sit down on the farm's grounds, but it wasn't inviting either, tables and chairs were dusty and dirty. The best thing was the prices... outrageously expensive considering it was self-service. Again...NO THANK YOU!

We went to the dance in May. We didn't like it at all. Paid €10 for entry and don't know why. After queuing for drinks, you had to get your own food. The staff seemed very overwhelmed to me. The selection of beers leaves a lot to be desired. The music was terrible and of very poor quality. The hall was very poorly lit and there weren't enough seats. We left the event after 1.5 hours. Conclusion: There have been much better events with good beer and nice music in recent years.

Dance into May: It's a shame, it started at 7 p.m 6.35 p.m. The terrace was full and a few people were standing on the sidewalk but everything was still locked. There was also no reaction from the staff or owner to allow his audience in. Then it was finally time but it took a while because you had to queue to get in. Since the entrance fee was 10€, it was very poorly organized. The hall was very dark and there weren't enough seats. Now you had to queue up to get your drink. -Staff was completely overwhelmed -Selection of drinks was very poor -When asked whether there was other beer (e.g. Berliner Pilsener or similar), the answer was "you couldn't drink the beer." -when asked for more ice cubes, the answer was, we don't have that much ice. (at 27 degrees outside temperature) But the cherry on top of it all were the prices for what was on offer Aperol spritz in a 0.2l Bollenpiepe plastic cup with 1 ice cube for €6.50 or wine spritzer in this cup for €5... that's an absolute disgrace for a restaurant with a dance event. This was mentioned to the staff to see if they didn't find it a bit outrageous - the answer was simply "Nope".😒😡 In addition, the DJ was very bad. The sound of the music was just horrible. When asked if there were still chairs, the answer was "it's dancing in May and not sitting in May. ☹️☹️☹️ Many left the event beforehand because there was absolutely no feel-good factor. Conclusion: It's just a shame because he has scared off several guests who live in the garden settlement and won't come again.

We were also at the “Dance into May”…. I can't understand the bad reviews at all. I guess it's the complainers who always have something to criticize. Very unfortunate!! You can be happy to still have such a gem nearby. You could see that the entire staff put a lot of effort into making it a successful party. Of course you had to wait a bit to order drinks... But that's also how you got into conversation with those in front of you and those behind you... As we heard yesterday, it was the first event of its kind. Not everything can be perfect for everyone. For us that was it!! We came home in a good mood... Many thanks to everyone involved!!

This place deserves more attention! I can’t believe I didn’t hear about this restaurant before. The food is gorgeous and delicious. You can feel it was made with love, thought and fresh ingredients. The service was 10/10 - very friendly and attentive, but not annoying. We had many vegan options on the menu. I’ve been to many chef and highly appreciate restaurants, and that was one of the best places I’ve been to in Berlin. Plus the surrounding area is perfect for a walk on a nice weather day.
