We ended up there by chance… and we had a lovely night. The staff were friendly and professional. I was alone with two young children and everybody was adorable with them. The food was great and more subtle than in many italian restaurants you can find in Berlin. Yes, it is also pricier than the average Italian, but in my opinion it is worth it. The terrace is absolutely great because it is on a large sidewalk of a very quiet neighborhood. You don’t have to share your evening with the traffic noises, which is very appreciable. Thanks Bruderherz, we’ll come back!

The food is super delicious. This is what homemade pasta tastes like. The dishes are prepared in a very imaginative way, so that the eyes also have a pleasant experience.

Hard slatted chairs in the outdoor area, indifferent service, sticky tagliatelle with little sugo, lasagna that has been reheated several times and prices that are too high for small portions.

Unfortunately very disappointing and not worth the high prices. No recommendation. We became aware of it through social media and the good marketing; our own pasta in the neighborhood in Charlottenburg attracted us with anticipation. What was good: the Pinot Gris, which was comparatively cheap. The prices are high, but it's worth investing in for first-class service and very good food. The pasta with truffles and parmesan: oily, served lukewarm, not spicy, needed more salt, parmesan very weak. The dish was not consistent at all and very, very far from €29. Unfortunately the worst truffle pasta I've ever eaten. The parpadelle with fillet tips was also far too oily and not worth €26, it tasted like it had been warmed up. Unfortunately, you can't tell that the pasta is homemade. (And we know all about good pasta.) Even the olive oil with the 4 slices of bread came 1. at the same time as the main course and was 2. less than run of the mill. The bread didn't have a good taste of its own and at a good restaurant you expect excellent, tasty olive oil. We weren't even asked how we liked it. :-) There will therefore be no second visit.

The service is very good and the waitress was really friendly. I can definitely recommend the starter (ceviche). Very tastefully and lovingly prepared. However, both main courses were not satisfactory. My tagliatelle were seasoned too strongly and, for example, the pomegranate was missing. The ravioli with sage butter, on the other hand, had no seasoning at all (no salt, etc.). I really liked the music in the background. Overall, I can recommend the restaurant, but expectations shouldn't be set too high.

I have known the Bruderherz restaurant for many years now and have eaten there several times. The quality was still top-notch in the past, as it is today, very nice owners, a family atmosphere and good cuisine. Even the supposedly minor things like bread, coffee and drinks are all excellent. I can only recommend the restaurant, it's worth a visit!

FOOD POISONING! Stay away from this dive bar. Service is absolutely catastrophic. I waited over an hour for pasta. Afterwards there was a tasteless and overpriced micro-portion that sent me to the hospital the next morning. Don't let appearances deceive you and go to another Italian restaurant that is fair.

We spontaneously wanted to have a small snack and a drink in the afternoon. All tables were free at a relaxed time. When asked, there was the first unfriendly question as to how long we planned to stay. 50% of the food was forgotten when ordering When paying, I was again informed that the card is only available for orders over €50, otherwise you don't need a pin. lol as if that was the reason. The food was tasty but quite small for the price. Overall, not recommended

Our visit to the Bruderherz restaurant in Berlin was a real highlight. On a busy Saturday evening, we were warmly welcomed and thoroughly looked after. We shared the eggplant salad and avocado as starters, both very tasty and perfectly prepared. The ravioli with burrata and summer truffles were a special treat and are highly recommended. The lasagna was also excellent. Despite the restaurant being at full capacity, the service was very attentive and quick. What was particularly impressive was the patience and professionalism with which the special requests at the next table were fulfilled. Overall, a clear recommendation for the Bruderherz restaurant. We'd love to come back!

We were there last summer. The truffle pasta was extremely expensive and a super small portion, but unfortunately the taste was very weak. The drinks came wrong. Sitting outside wasn't particularly comfortable, hard chairs and quite loud.

Wir wollten schon länger mal dort essen gehen. Diesmal gab es ganz spontan noch Plätze am Samstag. Leider hält das Restaurant nicht, was die vielen guten Bewertungen versprechen. Die beiden Drinks, Negroni und Bruderherz waren völlig verwässert.(Jede Menge viel zu kleine Eiswürfel) Die Tagliatelle schmeckten fad und langweilig. Nudeln viel zu lange gekocht, kein Biss und die Rinderfiletspitzen waren nicht frisch gebraten nur erhitzt worden( in der Soße, Mirkowelle?) und total trocken. Der Parmesan hatte eine Konsistenz die eher an Pulver erinnerte. Die schwarzen Spaghetti sollten mit Chili gewürzt sein. Davon war nichts zu schmecken. Auch dieses Gericht sehr fad. Alles in allem sehr liebloses Essen. Der Hunger hat es reingetrieben.

Wir waren sponatn dort. Insgesamt eng bestuhlt. Es gibt kein Brot, keine Oliven nichts. Die 4 Bruschetta schlagen mit 14 Euro zu Buche Bei anderen Italiener gibt es diese vorab umsonst bei gleicher Qualität. Die Portionen sind sehr übersichtlich, geschmacklich gut, jedoch viel zu teuer, wie auch die offenen Weine. 0,1 für 7 Euro.

Really enjoyed our dinner! I was pretty fool and intended only to get a pasta course, but the menu was so tempting I ended up ordering the asparagus soup (excellent) and a tiramisu, too. My main course (black pasta with prawns) was delicious, too. The restaurant is also located in a gorgeous and somewhat bourgeoise area of the city.

Completely overpriced! Pasta dishes with just average taste as well as a single meat and a fish dish for €38 each! In any average pizzeria the price-performance ratio is better.

Food is OK, but too expensive for what it really is. The service is attentive. Unfortunately it is very loud. Suspending the ceiling would help. And tablecloths would be nice.

I was very disappointed. The food is just mediocre. I ate there after reading all the "great reviews". The food offered there is something anyone can prepare themselves at home, so it's nothing special. The presentation is also very childish. There are many great restaurants in Germany and this is not one of them. So these “great reviews” seem strangely strange to me...

Small but mighty! We spontaneously decided to have a pasta evening and were happy to get a table at Bruderherz. We received a very friendly welcome and were even able to choose the table. Despite a small, clear map, we could hardly make a decision and were not disappointed. The Vitello Tonnato was not only beautifully prepared but also very tasty. The calamaretti couldn't have tasted better, very tender and subtle roasted aromas. The star of the evening was of course the pasta. We had the lasagna and tagliatelle with salsiccia ragout. If you close your eyes, you'll feel like you've been transported to Italy! We deducted two stars for the ambience because we sat directly under the kitchen ventilation outlet and the aromas mixed a bit. We'd love to come back!

Had to leave a review for this gem of a restaurant tucked away on a lovely cobbled street in Charlottenburg. I was looking to host a meal for a large party whilst away with work and the team at Bruderherz were just the best. We were 40 people and so took over this lovely little restaurant entirely. There was great communication from Tomek from the start, who arranged a delicious 4 course set menu with a choice of main course. The evening was perfect from beginning to end with the most tasty food and just the best service. With such a small team I have no idea how they did it but everyone attending agreed that food, location and service was 10/10. Highly recommend and hope to be back next time I visit Berlin. Thank you Tomek and team for a fabulous evening. *Unfortunately having too much fun for any food pictures but this street is so pretty.

Charlottenburg has a lot to offer, without a doubt. However, this restaurant has some room for improvement and I can't fully understand the reviews (so far). The review refers to the lasagne and ravioli in sage butter. The former was relatively well done, but lukewarm. Unfortunately, the accompanying salad was dry, without any oil, let alone vinaigrette. For 20 euros, well. The ravioli were technically well made and also tasty. However, (only) four pieces are, to put it bluntly, rather cheeky for the price. And the sage butter simply wasn't there, or you couldn't taste any of it. The waitress, a young woman, was super nice and attentive. This is the highlight of this afternoon. The ambience... well. It's "okay", but by no means "currently modern" or Italian authentic. Seating, wall decorations, everything was nice, nothing special. Maybe the ambience outside in summer moments is certainly pleasant, typical of this really beautiful neighborhood. 3.5 stars would be correct. Maybe more at some point. Small side note and no judgment: I wrote when making the reservation that it was my wife's birthday and that I would be happy about a nice place. It was nice that the friendly waitress wished us a happy birthday. However, and I mean this as a former gastro, a small 100 ml Prosecco or something similar is actually common. But hey. Maybe you don't need it. Well then.

Beautiful Italian Restaurant in the Charlottenburg district of Berlin. We ate very well. From the appetizer to the dessert all handmade. Absolutely worth trying!

We couldn't get enough of the delicious lasagna; it was simply divine. The service was first class and the restaurant was spotlessly clean.

Small and fine restaurant, top service and selected high-quality dishes. I've been there for the second time now and wasn't disappointed both times. I particularly like the changing menu. The price is in the upper league, but the taste is great!

We had a really nice evening: above all, the excellent and attentive service from a very nice employee. We didn't have any starters, but four different main courses and all of them were extremely tasty (black pasta with prawns, ravioli, risotto and pasta roll). Very well coordinated - a pleasure. And all three desserts were really great… And the best thing: there was even caffeine-free espresso - you really rarely get that in Berlin (after a certain age you can't sleep otherwise 😊)… Highly recommended...we would love to go here again!!!

This is the second time I have had the pleasure of visiting Bruderherz and I can honestly say that it was an exceptional experience. From the first moment I felt welcome and cared for. The restaurant's ambience is charming and welcoming, perfect for a romantic dinner or meeting with friends. The service was impeccable, the staff were friendly, attentive and always keen to ensure we didn't lack for anything. Now to the culinary highlight - the food was simply delicious! Every dish we ordered was expertly prepared and presented. The flavors were perfectly balanced and the ingredients used were of the highest quality. I was particularly impressed by the Vitello Tonnato, which was beautifully prepared and tasted great. In summary, I can only warmly recommend the Bruderherz restaurant. It is a place where one can enjoy excellent food, first class service and an unforgettable culinary experience. I'm already looking forward to returning again soon! Keep it up! <3

Leider, leider hatte ich das untrügliche Gefühl, dass meine Lasagne vom Vortag lediglich aufgewärmt wurde. Nicht durchgängig heiß, Nudelplatten zusammengeklebt, eher trocken insgesamt. Schade ☹️

Normalerweise finde ich das Bruderherz sehr schön und ich habe dort oft gut gegessen. Deswegen habe ich mich auch sehr auf das Silvester Menü gefreut. Leider hat es den Erwartungen nicht entsprochen. Die Hummerbisque war belanglos. Ich musste darauf aufmerksam machen, dass auf meinem Teller der Kaviar vergessen wurde. (Im übrigen kein echter Kaviar) Der zweite Gang: Raviolo mit Burrata und Trüffel war geschmacklich dafür sehr gut, leider hat man die Burrata aber vergeblich gesucht. Es handelte sich wohl nur um die Füllung und die drei Blättchen Trüffel wirkten sehr rationalisiert. Das Rinderfilet war an diesem Punkt in erster Linie etwas sättigend. Das Dessert hat ganz gut überzeugt, aber die Erwartungen waren hier auch nicht mehr allzu hoch und wenn ein Dessert das ganze Ereignis rettet, ist das ja nie ein gutes Zeichen. Alles in allem wäre es unter anderen Umständen akzeptabel gewesen, aber für 89€ pro Person (ohne Weinbegleitung) fühlt man sich ein wenig ausgeraubt. Schade.

Wir waren heute Abend dort und jeder Gang, den wir gegessen haben, war ein Erlebnis! Ich habe schon lange nicht mehr so ein Gefühl in einem Restaurant erlebt. Die außergewöhnliche Kombination von Zutaten und Gewürzen ist so was von erstaunlich gut. 100% empfehlenswert!

Die Tomatensuppe ist sehr zu empfehlen und war seit langem die beste die ich je gegessen habe. Die Atmosphäre und das Ambiente sind toll und haben zu diesen tollen Abend beigetragen. Ebenso gehört der Service gelobt der aufmerksam und freundlich war. Danke an tomek und sein Team wir kommen wider.

If you’re into Italian food like me and live in West Berlin, this restaurant is a must. From the salmon tatar that we’ve shared as a starter to the authentic tiramisu as the dessert, everything was tasty and delighted the four of us. The Tagliolini with black truffles and Parmesan was also delicious. There aren’t many tables available so I would recommend making a reservation, which is possible through the restaurant’s website.

Went to this restaurant on Thursday and the food was delicious and great service. However I forgot my coat and scarf. When I called the next day they said they were too busy to look for it and to call later when the rush would calm down. I called 3 times at 2 hours intervals and each time got dismissed. I ended up taking a taxi to go myself . My coat was hung exactly where I had left it and there was 1 couple in the whole restaurant. Such a poor customer service, I can’t believe it!! 14 oct: Following the dismissive response from the owner below I am adding a picture to confirm that I was at that restaurant and there is no confusion. The customer service is truly lacking. A simple apology would have been enough. 17 Oct: owner finally responded appropriately and offered an apology. I cannot accept their offer for a free meal as I left Berlin already but truly appreciate the gesture. I would not hesitate to go back to this restaurant as the food was excellent and waiters were very attentive. I consider the coat incident as an isolated event, and appreciate the owner reflecting on it. See you next time I visit Berlin!

Das Restaurant Bruderherz ist eine absolute Empfehlung ♥️ Die Pasta ist mit Liebe hausgemacht und das schmeckt man auch. Jedes Gericht ist uns auf der Zunge zergangen und die Crème Brûlée ist eine 15/10. Bis zum nächsten mal! #pastalovers

Nettes Lokal mit Außenbereich. Mir hat die übersichtliche Karte gefallen. Pasta war lecker. Getränke speziell die Aperitifs und Cocktails eher durchschnittlich aber teuer. Und wir haben uns mit Freundinnen und deren Kind nicht wirklich willkommen gefühlt. Kein Angebot für Kinder. Später gab es dann noch eine Dusche von oben mit Blumengießwasser der Nachbarn. Der Service war auch davon unbeeindruckt, passiert wahrscheinlich öfters.

Leckeres Essen und schönes Ambiente. Luft nach oben beim Service. Preise leider zu hoch. 110 EUR für 2x Pasta, 1x Vorspeise und 4 Gläser Wein und eine Flasche Wasser. Gut gemeinte 4 Sterne Bewertung für das Bruderherz.

Herrlich feine, milde Trüffel-Taglioni. Aber das Highlight kam zum Schluss: Die Crème Brûlée war fantastisch kombiniert mit Pfirsich und Crumble, und nicht zu süß, wow!

Heute mal ausprobiert. Ist ein netter Laden, aber hauptsächlich ein Kiezrestaurant um sein Ego zu streicheln. Das essen schmeckt, Portionen sind aber mickrig - vier Ravioli auf riesigem Teller - und mit über 20€ völlig überteuert für Pastagerichte, auch wenn sie selbstgemacht ist. Da geh ich lieber zu meinem Italiener um die Ecke; schmeckt genau so zu vernünftigen Preisen.

Hier fühlt man sich wohl, hier möchte man sein! Mittlerweile eins unserer Stammlokale. Der Service ist großartig, sehr persönlich und herzlich. Die Getränke sind sehr lecker und alles andere als Standard. Das Essen, besonders die Trüffelpasta, ist wahnsinnig lecker. Sehr zu empfehlen!

ich habe das Lokal vor einigen Tagen besucht, aufgrund von der Rezensionen dachte ich wirklich dass es ein Erlebnis wird. Als ich ankam und das Essen bestellt habe war ich erstmal kurz schockiert über die unpassenden Preisen… Nichtsdestotrotz bestellte ich. Das essen hat bestimmt 20-30min gedauert. Nachdem ich die 3 Spaghetti auf dem Teller sah, fragte ich mich was da solange dauerte. Meine Begleitung und ich lernten daraus und bestellten das Dessert schonmal als uns die hauptspeissw gebracht wurde. Das Stück tiramisu was nach 2 Gabeln verschwand ( war auch nicht kühl gelagert, die Creme war halb ausgetreten) hat uns nochmal 30 min gekostet. Die Rechnung betrug über 80€! Preisleistung ist einfach eine KATASTROPHE! Ich rate jedem davon ab!!! Ich verstehe nicht woher diese guten Bewertungen kommen…

Service top und sehr aufmerksam. Vorspeisen sehr lecker. Bei Ceviche waren leider 80% Avocado und weniger als 20% Fisch aber trotzdem hervorragend. Das Risotto ist unbedingt zu empfehlen aber die frischen Pasta-Gerichte leider sehr geschmacklos. Es fehlte an Salz, Schärfe und Gewürze, nicht einmal Knoblauch etc. Wir kommen trotzdem wieder und versuchen die Pasta-Gerichte erneut…

The vitello tonnato as a starter was well prepared Delicious homemade pasta with great sauces and fresh ingredients. You can't complain about the price for the location and the good food. Feine Italienische Küche mit handgemachte Pasta aus der eigenen Manufaktur. Ich hatte einen schönen Abend mit Freunden bei euch. Das Essen war von der Vorspeise bis zum Dessert einfach nur ein fantastisch. Ein großes Lob an den Kellner! Er war sehr aufmerksam und charmant. Wir haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt und kommen auf jeden Fall noch mal wieder.

I've been to this Restaurant with my girlfriend, the hospitality it offered was super. Moreover, the best thing about this was the drinks. I also talked to the bartender there who made the drinks, his name is Devansh. He made superb drinks, I'm in love with those. I'll visit this restaurant very often because the bartender is making the best drinks in the 🌎.

Unsere bestellten Gerichte waren ebenfalls nur i.O. - man könnte diese Zuhause aber auch genauso gut, wenn nicht sogar besser, hinkriegen. Ich kann nicht für andere Gerichte sprechen. Diese sind sicher ein Traum. Nur unsere leider nicht. Ich würde Bruderherz dennoch eine Chance geben und empfehlen. Der Kellner (der einzige) war bei unserem Besuch sehr reserviert und desinteressiert. Seine Freundlichkeit war leider durchgehend sehr mühsam und aufgesetzt. Er war sicher müde. Ich finde dennoch, dass man für diesen Niveau des Restaurants sich zusammenreißen können muss oder man nimmt sich den Tag frei. Er hat mir leider eine falsche Gemüsesorte serviert, trotz expliziter Nachfrage. Auf meinem Hinweis darauf, hat er sehr gut reagiert und mir einen Drink als Entschädigung ausgegeben. Für mich nicht unbedingt lobenswert, weil sich genau das in solch einer Situation gehört. In diesem Fall fand ich es dennoch gut, dass er trotz seiner Laune professionell agiert hat. Ich komme einmal wieder und hoffe ich werde dann halbwegs umgehauen.

Die Chefin fehlt es an Gastgeber Mentalität. Terrasse komplett leer aber man wird gebeten an einen kleinen Tisch Platz zu nehme, falls Gruppen kommen, ca von den ca 15 Tischen waren nach 2 h immer noch nur 3 besetzt. Zum Essen: mein Pasta mit Spargel hatte genau einen HALBEN SPARGEL drin und war geschmacklich eine 4. die Wasserflasche 7,50€! Sorry aber der Laden hat keinen Flair und die Preise sind absolut nicht gerechtfertigt. Einmal und nie wieder.

Ottimo posto a Charlottenburg, dove mangiare una buona cucina di ispirazione italiana. Ambiente tranquillo e piacevole, buona selezione di vini.

Perfekte Pasta! Sehr freundliche und professionelle Bedienung. Natürlich ist der Laden nicht ganz günstig, aber das wussten wir im Vorhinein und haben es nicht bereut. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder!
