Perfect mix of city life and cabin magic! Our Christmas party at the Amano Chalet was an absolute hit! The climb in the elevator turned out to be a surprise: an enchanting chalet awaited us on the rooftop, which exuded a cozy ski hut atmosphere in the middle of the city. Beforehand we started in the courtyard with mulled wine and curling, which was perfect to get everyone in the mood. With real snow and an enthusiastic team, the atmosphere was unique. The food was delicious, the drinks were first class. The Amano Chalet proved to be the ideal location for our après-ski theme. In short: everything is great! ⛷🎄🍾

As a vegetarian, I unfortunately found the food to be quite monotonous. The vegetarian platter for the hot stone consisted mainly of raw, unseasoned vegetables, a few falafels and a kind of vegetarian boulette. In terms of taste, everything seemed pretty unspectacular as the ingredients were neither marinated nor sufficiently seasoned and also tasted quite dry. Unfortunately, the sauces served with it - such as mayo, a small dollop of hummus and a kind of ketchup - could not enhance the dish. In addition, it was very cold in the store, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable. However, the staff was very friendly.

The courses are literally “thrown” onto the table. Without any comment, no, you sit in front of empty plates until the next course! After reading some negative reviews due to the change in ownership, we were initially unsettled. However, completely baseless. Absolutely friendly service, lovely atmosphere and excellent food. Also worth highlighting is the very good price-performance ratio of the surprise menu as well as the sufficiently large portions! The portions were just as big as the normal main courses a la carte. We like to eat very well and we all agreed that we hadn't eaten so well in a long time. The only small suggestion for improvement: my main course (Chickenwomanizer) arrived a little lukewarm. If necessary, preheat the plate more. But otherwise excellent. The quality of the food, the location and especially the service are great.

Location 3 minutes from the Leaning Tower, seating outside on the street or inside. Fast, nice service, after about 20 minutes in a busy house, we had our pizzas and salad. The pizza was perfect, the salad was ok.

Nice atmosphere, service friendly but overwhelmed. 2nd glass of wine only came after repeated orders, main course didn't come even after 80 minutes. Very nice shop with lots of space. Great for large groups and still acoustically ok. The food is very good with a wonderful selection. You can tell that there are good chefs at work here. Unfortunately my chicken was far dry, so I really have to deduct a star and I don't understand the pile of parsley on the chicken either. But based on the other dishes you can see that the chicken is obviously an outlier.
