George‘s Steakhouse in Berlin

I'm sad to leave this review because I was satisfied on my first visit a few months ago. This time, among the dishes, we had two steaks—one was different from what I ordered, and the other was unevenly cooked.. The onion soup was below average, the carpaccio ok. While the prices are good, today I didnt felt it was worth it. Hopefully, it was just an off day—I might give them another try in the future because their tartar is really good.

1 star I went to the steakhouse today and had a rum steak with sweet potato fries. Unfortunately, the steak was an absolute disappointment - completely lacking in bulk, dry and a complete failure in terms of taste. The sweet potato fries were the only highlight, very tasty, but they alone couldn't save the visit. Overall the experience was a disaster, especially when you go to a steakhouse and the exact steak is not right. Absolutely not recommended!

Das Ambiente ist sehr ansprechend, das Personal sehr zuvorkommend und hat immer ein Auge für den Gast und die Küche war hervorragend.

Very tasty food and super friendly staff. However, unfortunately we had to wait a long time for our food, hence one star less. But I would still highly recommend it!

Very chic furnished atmosphere. You never feel like it's too loud. The food is of top quality and tastes like a poem every time. The tartare can be prepared fresh at the table and seasoned as desired. If you want to treat yourself to something, this is the place for you. Children's requests or small changes are easily accommodated. See you next time!

The food was okay had a different types of meat served as a Platte. The service was unprofessional as the waiter mocked one of our guests for asking if there is warm bread. That experience ruined the atmosphere and we were unable to get past it. We stayed as we had ordered a lot and spent a lot. Would not recommend

Thank you very much for this great evening! At a small pre-dinner with various entrepreneurs, everyone present was satisfied. From the reservation to the service and food, everything was TOP! The steaks in particular were amazing! All participants enjoyed the food and everyone felt comfortable! We'd love to come back ☺️

My favorite was homemade pasta, very cheesy and delicious.

First courses are nice and tasty and that's all the rest is not good!!, main course takes an hour and a half to prepare!! The wait is very long!!! The level of doneness of the steaks has nothing to do with what we asked for, burnt or undercooked steaks, very very disappointing!!

Good food, very nice staff and service

I was in Berlin shortly after the European Championships and had an appetite for the perfect fillet steak. 1. Service assigned me as an individual a great table on the terrace 2. Service recommended a top fillet to me, expensive but super tasty 😋 3 Wine was also great I can recommend the steakhouse 100 percent 😎😎

We had a really great business meal here – highly recommend! The tableside preparation of the steak tartar was world-class – a performance, even – and it was delicious. My filet was perfectly cooked and seasoned; the sides we ordered all delicious. They had a good wine selection with broad options for pairing with your meal. I wish I took a few more photos to show all the great food (and had a video to share on the tartar prep, but we were so focused on enjoying the meal and experience it slipped my mind). It’s clear this is a small, family business, and is very well run. The server and kitchen staff were al amazing, friendly, and there to make sure all the food was exactly as you want it. My wife was pregnant, so we had to have her steak sent back to be cooked a bit more (not her preference, but necessary), and they were gracious and helpful.

Dinner on Saturday evening: perfectly grilled steak, delicious side dishes - very friendly service, great stay. Plus the chance to watch the European Championships - perfect, would also have earned 6 stars!

Again everything was super tasty. We (my wife and I) were here once 2 years ago. Are super excited.

Service: Service is great. Very friendly and accommodating. So you can say absolutely nothing. Ambiance: It's not mine, but I can imagine that others might like it. I like steakhouses that are perhaps a little darker in decor and look more like fine dining. I find the upholstered benches very incongruous with the gray. Would rather have very dark wooden chairs next to them that convey more of a steak restaurant character like in the Ivory Club in Frankfurt or Goodmans in London. Eat: I would rather see it mixed. So we had the starter plate like in the picture. It's solid and you can definitely eat it. The only thing I didn't like was the hummus. That was too bitter for me and the cucumber with hummus just doesn't go well. We had 1.2Kg Tomahawk Steak and the Chateaubriand Steak. Everything to share for 4 people and one fish for the lady. The fish was a disaster. But the steaks were absolutely ok, not the best meat I've had so far, but definitely not bad either. Price: We paid €600 for 2 bottles of wine, 2 cokes, 3 bottles of water and the food as described above, of which €49 was a tip. Summary: So it's a solid steakhouse, if you can't find anything you can definitely go there. If I had the choice, I would probably try something else first and keep the store open here as my Plan B option.

GEORGE'S STEAKHAUS Berlin is on Uhlandstr. 153, located in 10719 Berlin. The atmosphere there is very pleasant and the ambience is also very nice. I recently drank good beers there and ate a fillet of beef with asparagus. Both were very delicious. The staff is very friendly, helpful and very valuable. No complaints to food and the service, however I am really irritated with the way they presented the bill: at the same time there's a point "Trinkgeld" on the bill and below the message in English "Tips are not included", not even sure it's legal to do such things. Considering the fact that it was my birthday, I was not happy to receive such „present”.

We tried the soup and the cheese as Appetizer. We had 2 main course meals, The salmon with fries and the Ribeye steak with mushroom sauce (the sauce was good) Definitely over priced food. The mashed potatoes were good and the lobster bisque (soup)was also good. The cheese was also delicious The salmon was dry and the rib eye was ordered as a medium but was served as rare. Very nice looking place and the food presentation was good. However, the steak wasn’t the best thing and that’s ultimately why I went there. Next time I feel like having a steak, I will try another place.

The beautiful restaurant is actually full but the service is not that good for this already upscale restaurant. We made reservations for our wedding anniversary, but when we arrived we were ignored even though the place wasn't even half full. Then we were seated at a dirty table (ashtray full, the white tablecloth was full of ashes) and they only replaced it upon request. Unfortunately nothing was prepared regarding our reservation. We waited 25 minutes for our order to finally be taken, the waiter spoke to us as if we were the best of friends, we waited forever for our food and after eating we sat in front of the empty plates for another 25 minutes and looked in vain for the waiter. We really didn't feel welcome. Great location, nice interior, delicious food but the staff in the service area urgently needs training. It's a shame, it has potential for a new favorite restaurant. P.S. you have by far the tastiest Caesar salad! Brutally delicious!

I've eaten here several times and can only say that each time the food has been excellently prepared and very stylishly presented. After all, your eyes eat too! We ate very well. Steaks were cooked absolutely first class as requested! So if you want to eat well-grilled steaks, you will be served excellently here. Unfortunately we come from the other end of Germany (Allgäu) but we'll see each other again.

The quality of the food and the quality of the alcohol is quite poor. Does not correspond to the price. Wine and cocktails do not correspond to the classic taste. Which makes you think of a low-quality product or a fake.

Sehr gutes Essen. Ich hatte ein 500g ribeye Steak, der garpunkt war absolut klasse. Dazu kartoffelpüree, der etwas mehr Muskat vertragen hätte, und Sauce bernaise. Die Soße war sehr lecker und das frische Püree war auch gut. Der Service war besonders nett und Kinder freundlich.

Das Steak war gut. Leider haben die Beilagen nicht das Niveau gehalten. Das Pfannengemüse war in einem Kräutersud, der nach Fertigprodukt geschmeckt hat. Das Brot zu Beginn war sehr trocken, vom Supermarkt das billige. Aber am Schlimmsten war der NY Cheescake. Das waren runde Cakes aus der TK. Die hab ich selbst schon gekauft. Dieser war auch noch in Erdbeersauce getränkt, dass es nichts mehr mit Cheescake zu tun hatte. Wirklich schlimm. Zum Service. Die Kellnerinnen saßen teilweise mit Handy an der Bar. Wirklich schade. Man könnte aus dem ganzen viel mehr machen.

Das Beste ist hier Standard! Top ich weiß nicht wo ich anfangen soll... Languste Wahnsinn, Fliet auf dem Punkt und in einer Qualität top Qualität! Die Pommes, ja sogar der Salat waren ei Erlebnis, welches sich lohnt! Herkommen, die Woche vergessen und auch mal an sich und die liebsten denken! Ps: Das ist jetzt das zweite Mal in gleicher Qualität

2,5 hours before we got our meal. 65 euro steak was not cooked correctly and had to be sent back twice. Took 40 min to get water/drinks on the table. We were mostly ignored at det table, even though the waiter was nice when he had time for us. Not what you expect for a 600 euro dinner (three people)

Leider ist gestern einiges schief gelaufen. 20 Minuten Wartezeit um die Karte zu erhalten und dann nach total rund 30 Minuten bestellen können. In dieser Zeit wurden noch keine Getränke serviert. Unschöner Start bei einer Gruppe von 10 Personen darunter 4 Kids. Nach weiteren 60 Minuten Wartezeit ohne etwas essbares auf dem Tisch - trotz Nachfrage - kamen dann 8 der 10 bestellten Hauptspeise - notabene zwei Hauptspeisen der Kids. Aussage des Service: sie habe diese nicht bestellt. Nicht etwa eine Entschuldigung oder etwas ähnliches. Schuld war der Gast. Da mussten wir uns schon fragen, wer eigentlich der Gast ist. Details der weiteren Diskussionen ersparen wir hier. Eigentlich schade, ist an diesem Abend der Service dermassen durchgefallen. Das Essen wäre sehr lecker gewesen.

Wir haben als Familie mit 10 Personen inkl. 4 Kinder am Sonntagabend einen Tisch reserviert. Als wir ankamen mussten wir sehr lange für die Karte warten und dann auch bis wir die Bestellung aufgeben durften. Nach etwa 30 Min. nach Bestellung bekamen wir die Getränke geliefert und nach langer Wartezeit das Essen. Jedoch bekamen 2 von Kinder kein Essen, weil dies bei der Bestellung nicht aufgenommen wurde und dann hat uns der Kellner unfreundlich mitgeteilt, dass wir dies nicht bestellt hätten. Das Essen war sehr fein gewesen aber die Art und Weise, wie der Kellner mit uns umgegangen ist, geht gar nicht. Auch eine Entschuldigung bekam er nie über die Lippen.

Wir hatten letzten Samstag einen fantastischen Abend. Der Service ist perfekt auf die Gäste eingestimmt, das Essen außerordentlich gut, die Zubereitung wie gewünscht. Wir bedanken uns für einen wunderschönen Abend, der mit einem passenden Whiskylikör abgerundet wurde!

we had the kafta and filet steak with gorgonzola sauce from the Specialty menu and felt a little cheap, but the food exceeded expectations and was damn good. the steak had great ripe taste and the cooking point was very professional, medium with a tiny hint of rare in the very Inside. the kafta were from very high quality meat, so the burger probably tastes awesome aswell!! the waiter was very positive and created a welcoming and fun atmosphere. prices on the Specialty menu are very reasonable! this Restaurant is definifely a recommend!

One of the best steaks I had in Berlin, including some Michelin star places. If you are into seafood, do the Steak + "surf & turf", as shown in the picture. The meat in the picture is their medium rare - perfectly homogeneous cooked inside, beautiful crust outside. And outstanding service, very nice waiters.

Das Steak und die Kartoffel waren in Ordnung, jedoch habe ich schon deutlich bessere gegessen. Für ein Steakhaus erwarte ich mehr. Die Dame aus dem Service sichtlich bemüht, jedoch nur am Anfang. Es wurde während des Essens nicht mal gefragt ob alles okay ist, musste ewig warten bis jemand zufällig kam. Ich musste ewig auf die Rechnung warten. Da ist noch Luft nach oben.

Ich bin heute zufällig in dieses Restaurant rein, da ich auf meine Wäsche warten musste und Hunger hatte. Wollte eigentlich einen Döner oder so aber es sah sehr gemütlich und gepflegt aus und dann bin ich halt rein. Die Bedienung weiß, Gäste willkommen zu heißen (Obwohl ich mit Joggerklamotten ausgesehen habe wie ein Hallodri). So, jetzt zum Wesentlichen: Die Grill Mischplatte war es und kam mit Salat und einer kleinen Vorspeise. Ich habe selten dermaßen lecker gegessen. Selbst der Salat war mit Hingabe zubereitet, das hat man geschmeckt und gesehen. Lamm, Pute und Steak waren perfekt gegrillt und genau richtig gewürzt. Kennt ihr das, wenn ihr zwar satt seid aber trotzdem weiter speist, da es nicht mehr um Nahrungsaufnahme sondern um Genuss geht? Das ist hier los. Ich werde wieder kommen und das nächste mal mit Anhang. Könnte mein Stamm Restaurant werden in Berlin :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our street-side table. The Burrata and Seafood appetizers were delicious, and almost a meal by themselves. And my wife and I enjoyed a Tomahawk Steak that was wonderfully prepared and served tableside. After finishing with complementary Limoncello shots, you can be sure that we will return!

Wir waren wieder einmal im George's Steakhouse...... Die Speisen haben das Prädikat "Extraklasse" . Ob Vorspeisen , Steaks oder Fisch, alles sehr sehr lecker und die Preise sind angemessen. ...MIMO... hat uns wieder bedient. Es hat uns alle Extrawünsche erfüllt. MIMO ist der Beste!!!!! Wir kommen wieder, sobald wir wieder in Berlin sind. Achtung...Geheimtipp in Berlin. Eines des besten Steak Restaurants. Super lecker Essen und die Bedienung"MIMO" mit Service der Extraklasse. Selten so einen tollen Mensch in der Gastronomie getroffen. 5 Sterne, mehr geht nicht. Vielen Dank für alles!!!!!

Tolles Ambiente, das Essen ist super lecker und auf den Punkt, es war eine kleine kulinarische Weltreise mit Fleisch aus Irland und Wein aus Isreal (noch nie getrunken, aber sehr positiv überrascht). Das Personal ist überaus freundlich und aufmerksam. Man fühlt sich willkommen und hat damit die besten Voraussetzungen für einen gemütlichen Abend mit leckerem Essen. Beim nächsten Berlin Besuch steht das Lokal wieder auf unserer Must Do Liste.

Absolute Empfehlung, absolut topp vom Ambiente, Service bis zum Essen. Wir kommen gerne wieder, denn hier macht es Spaß zu essen.

Ambiente sieht nicht einladend aus, mehr Schein als Sein... Service wirkt sehr desinteressiert - raucht, isst und spielten sehr oft mit dem Handy. Leider wurden wir direkt neben die Kasse gesetzt, obwohl das komplette Restaurant leer war. Essen war im Ordnung, aber kein Highlight.
