Were only there for cocktails with friends. They were very good.

Anyone who loves culinary delights MUST go to Au Lac! Frank Heppner spoils his guests with his unique Asian signature. Every bite is a pleasure, from swordfish with kimchi, popped shrimp, tender duck, pike perch with truffle risotto and much more that will make your taste buds scream!

Food came without the mentioned side dishes. When asked, the only answer was that they were out! Never again 🫡

It's good for a one-time meal. The meat in the dish we ordered was still half raw... But we got compensation.

My Husband and i enjoyed our little get away at your hotel. the service was excellent, the location is stunning, the spa was really nice and had everything one would wish for. the only things we would negatively comment would be our room 804. it is a clean modern room with a nice view to the Lake. however, the bed was very uncomfortable and was moving each time one of us moved, which was annoying. we could hear each step from the people in the upper floor and sometime throughout the whole night. there was no additional chair in the room or a sideboard and the worst is, wifi was each night down and no one could fix it until the IT did a reset in the morning. the en-suite kitchen was not required and takes up lots of place..

We had coffee and cake. Friendly staff, beautiful view of the lake. The coffee wasn't really hot.

The quality of the products leaves a lot to be desired, the prices are too high for the bad food! I do not recommend this restaurant!

The food here was good, had pizza and pasta, the salad tasted like almost nothing, very bland. The waiter was very rude, we were given a bottle of oil and vinegar with the salad and a bowl of parmesan, everything was placed right in front of us and while we were still eating, the waiter came to our table and started eating them Clearing away vinegar and oil bottles and leaning completely over our table while we were still eating was very inappropriate. He then did the same thing again with the parmesan bowl, very strange. We then asked for the bill, the restaurant is not recommended, the service was anything but appropriate.

This establishment never disappoints. The staff is professional and friendly, the atmosphere is elegant but relaxed, and the culinary offerings are excellent. An absolute recommendation for all connoisseurs of all genders; a true pearl of high-quality gastronomy on Lake Tegernsee!

Decent food, nice view and good prices

We can only agree with the critical reviews here. We have been frequent guests at the Hotel “das Tegernsee” in recent years and have always reserved a table in the Senger Restaurant for dinner. The first few times everything was fantastic. Great location, great view, good service and very tasty food, which was cleverly and creatively prepared. On our last visit we were more than disappointed. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is no longer right here. Starter, main course, side dishes and salad without any sophistication and no taste highlight, as you would expect in this price range and as we knew it from the past. You feel a bit ripped off. It's a real shame because the hotel is highly recommended. We can only advise you to save your money and invest in a delicious restaurant in Tegernsee.
