Seehotel Luitpold in Tegernsee

Ein hervorragendes, klassisches Erlebnis, aber teuer. Leider gibt es weder einen Aufzug noch eine Klimaanlage. Ich wünschte, es gäbe auch eine Dusche.

Absolut empfehlenswertes Hotel! Wir durfte eine Nacht in diesem schönen Hotel geniessen. Wir hatten ein kleines Doppelzimmer, das vollkommen ausreichend war: schön gestaltet und mit allen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Frühstücksbuffet lies ebenso keine Wünsche übrig. Ein absolutes Plus war auch der hoteleigene Parkplatz direkt vor der Türe und natürlich der freie Blick auf den wunderschönen Tegernsee. Wir kommen sicher wieder, dann gerne im Sommer, um auch die Terasse nutzen zu können!

Älteres Hotel in Teilen renoviert. Lage direkt an der Tegernseer Seesauna. Toller Blick auf den See. Parkplätze sind vorhanden. Sehr freundliches Personal. Ausreichendes Frühstücksbuffet. Kein Aufzug vorhanden. Leider etwas zu teuer.

Wir waren über sylvester in diesem kleinen schönen Hotel mit 4 gänge Menü. Es war alles prima bis auf diesen 4 gänge Menü am sylvester. Wir wurden zu unserem neuen Platz geführt wo wir unser Menü zu uns nehmen konnten auf wacklichen barhocker und ein kleinen wacklichen bartisch und das ganze mit Döner ampiente. Was unseren Abend komplett ruiniert hat. Dafür durften befreundete nicht Hotelgäste auf unsere Sitzplätze die wir am Morgen hatten. Das ging überhaupt nicht,und hat alles versaut für meine Frau. Aber sonst war alles toll.

Tolle Lage, toller Service, freundliches Personal

Meiner Meinung nach ist dieses Hotel wunderbar. Die Zimmer sind geräumig mit herrlichem Seeblick, das Frühstück ist zwar einfach, aber gut, und das Hotelpersonal ist sehr freundlich.

The wonderful staff at this hotel were so friendly and helpful. They made staying here an absolute pleasure. They can also cook a great omelette for breakfast. Dinners here were superb. The chef really knows what he or she is doing with quality of ingredients, flavour and presentation. Our room was comfortable with a great view of the lake, although it was a bit warm for us, even in late October. There are no tea making facilities as standard in the room, but they staff were kind enough to provide us with a kettle. The safe in the room didn't work. Nothing was stolen, and I didn't feel that it was a big risk, but I would have felt more comfortable I'd I had been able to leave my camera somewhere secure. For the location, it is clearly on the main road that runs along the lake side though Tegernsee, so no-one should be surprised by that. One of the docks for the little ferries that run along the south part of the lake is right outside the hotel, so that is very convenient. The hotel is also only a couple of minutes from the fabulous Monte-Mare lake spa / sauna, and the hotel can give you a discount card. That was better than any hotel sauna I have been to, but unlike a hotel sauna you do need to keep an eye on availability, and will certainly need to book on weekends, probably on a Friday, and perhaps weekdays during the busy season. If you are deciding between a hotel that has it's own sauna or this one that is 2 minutes from the Monte-Mare See sauna, I would choose this hotel.

A fantastic hotel with exceptional service! A fantastic hotel in a prime location, right on the lake, with parking included. We only decided on this hotel after our excellent initial telephone conversation with Mr. Horsch at the reception desk – such a warm, friendly, and competent welcome is truly rare. Our room was spotlessly clean and furnished with great attention to detail. The breakfast was also outstanding – plentiful, fresh, and with a wide selection. We felt completely at home and will definitely be back!

A top-notch hotel right on Lake Tegernsee! The welcome from Tanja and Wolfgang was simply perfect! Tanja was very impressive with her professionalism, her very friendly and attentive manner! Lukas also provided first-class service because we were celebrating a birthday. The restaurant is also very good. Steak and fish are reasonably priced and very tasty. The hotel is right on Lake Tegernsee. Of course, there's a road in between, but that didn't bother us because the location is simply so great. And the price is reasonable. You can walk to all the restaurants in 5 minutes, and the fantastic lakeside sauna is right next door. The room was very tastefully decorated, with a mix of modern and antiques, like a boutique hotel. Parking is right in front. Lake views from almost all rooms. Very good mattresses and pillows. Very clean, and a fantastic breakfast with a wide variety of food. Many thanks to the entire hotel team!

There's nothing to complain about...

2 days' vacation at the Seehotel Luitpold in Tegernsee, June 26-28, 2025 The price-performance ratio is disproportionate. The hotel's description on its website is at least exaggerated. Our room 12 on the top floor certainly didn't "convince" with its "spaciousness." The "unobstructed lake view from the balcony" wasn't there, as the exit doesn't deserve to be called a balcony, and due to its location on the gable side of the building, you can only see around the corner. There was also no sign of the "naturally always-stocked minibar." On the contrary, the empty bottles and used glasses remained even after the room was cleaned. Furthermore, refrigerators must be placed in a well-ventilated closet (fire hazard). Naturally, air cannot circulate through the slats of the closet door, which are closed with a pane of glass, so the space between them gets extremely hot. Why the toilet was hung at a height suitable for children is a mystery to me. The approximately 42 cm specified in DIN 18040 was far below the required height. And in a hotel that touts "fine cuisine," shouldn't you know the difference between a fried egg and a setzei (or at least secretly google it, instead of telling guests that they serve scrambled eggs and fried eggs (which is actually a setzei) and that you won't understand anything anyway, since you're a foreigner? When checking out, I wasn't asked if we enjoyed our stay. I already announced my feedback when saying goodbye...

Located directly on Lake Tegernsee, you can definitely do it. However, my room didn't have a shower, just a bathtub and the service was typically German, relatively inattentive.

The staff was very nice, the room was very nice, the breakfast is very good, everything is very comfortably furnished, you feel very comfortable, stayed for 4 days and will definitely come back again. LG Claudia and Reinhold

Very nice, small hotel. Cleanliness excellent, breakfast was bombastic. The location of the hotel is very good, parking spaces are available directly opposite. We would stay here again at any time. The restaurant is also highly recommended. The whole building has a lot of charm

Romantic building with great food and good service

Top hotel on Tegernsee. Exceptional service, fantastic rooms with views of the lake and mountains. Breakfast was gigantic. A lot of homemade stuff and, above all, very rich. We were completely satisfied and thrilled.

The scenery from the Balcony is absolutely to die for. The staff are super helpful and friendly, they answered all our requests happily. The Breakfast had quite a good variety of food which I liked, but they could have provided a bit more options. The rooms and the bathroom were very clean. They have a general classical design of the hotel and the rooms in general, which I find to suit the atmosphere in Tegernsee. They provide parking places directly in front of the hotel

A really nice small, family-run hotel in a prime location right on the lake. The rooms are very spacious and beautifully furnished in an old Bavarian style, and everything is in very good condition. The staff are super nice and accommodating, you immediately feel at home and very valued and welcome as a guest. The breakfast is really tasty and here, like everywhere else, you can notice the attention to detail. Free parking and direct access to the lake right outside the door make it the perfect hotel for me. We'd love to come back :)

Amazing hotel: super pretty modern interior (was looking for something without traditional Bavarian aesthetic), great view to the lake. Very tasty breakfast with many options, nice service. Location is amazing too, just steps away from taking a swim in the lake and from a super nice spa.

Really nice room with a balcony with a great view of Lake Tegernsee. Service is top, breakfast is absolutely delicious, location super close to the lake, almost perfect. The only drawback is the often noisy street directly in front of the hotel, but the other plus points totally make up for that.

Völlig spontan und dank einer recht angesagten Gastro , die der Meinung war uns um 20:10 zu sagen das die Küche schon geschlossen hat, zum Glück hier gelandet. Although we only stayed in the hotel for one night, we can only write positive things for the short time we spent. The staff was exceptionally friendly without being intrusive. The dinner in the restaurant was very tasty. And a big thank you to the wonderful photo that was taken for us ^^

This lovely place is a small restaurant in the upper price segment. I had the Truffle Linguine as I'm a pasta lover and I dare say that this indeed where the best I've been eating until now. My company enjoyed the wine selection; I can not agree on that (just out of the reason that they just have dry wines and I prefer sweeter ones). We will definitely come back.

Tolles Hotel, das vom Flair eines alten Herrenhauses am See lebt, aber gleichzeitig sehr modern eingerichtet ist und top gepflegt wird. Sehr freundliches Personal und ganz hervorragendes Essen (wir empfehlen Fisch). Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Die Entscheidung, meinen Geburtstag im Luitpold zu feiern, war perfekt. Schon in der Vorbereitung lief Alles reibungslos. Die Chefin und das Personal sind nicht nur extrem freundlich, kompetent und hilfsbereit, sondern auch sehr schnell und nie aufdringlich. Dies gilt auch für das liebevoll zubereitete Frühstück, das keine Wünsche offen lässt. Ein großes Lob an die Küche, die sowohl bei den Vorspeisen als auch beim Buffet gezaubert und alle Gäste begeistert haben. Für jede Feier sehr zu empfehlen, da die Räumlichkeiten sehr flexibel genutzt werden können. Volle Punktzahl in allen Bereichen - ein unvergesslicher Abend.

Hallo ,wir waren wieder im Hotel Luitpold am Tegernsee und es war wieder ein tolles Erlebnis, Frau Lorenza gibt mit vollem Einsatz alles ,um den Gästen einen tollen Aufenthalt zu bieten ,der Sylvesterabend war geprägt mit familiären Ambiente und einem hervorragenden Essen und einer wunderschönen Tischdekoration , jeder Cent war es wert ,hier ins neue Jahr zu feiern, danke an das gesamte Team, ihr seid wunderbar, wir kommen gerne wieder!Das Frühstück könnte nicht besser sein,es fehlte an nichts, das Zimmer stets sauber ,mit besten Empfehlungen, Familie Rings

Wir waren zum ersten Mal am Tegernsee und nur zum Abendessen im Restaurant. Service war echt top. Die Portionen echt perfekt, sehr sehr lecker und wir Franken wurden richtig satt. Alle im Service und an der Bar richtig nett und zuvorkommend. Das war nicht das letzte Mal dass wir dort zum Essen gehen werden.

Service wird hier groß geschrieben. Das Dreigängemenü war fantastisch. Der aufmerksame und sehr freundliche Kellner Lukas bewirtete uns hervorragend ... dazu noch die selbstgebackenen Kekse der Hotelchefin ... besser geht es nicht.

Unfreundliche und überhebliche junge Dame am Empfang. Bei einem Zimmerpreis von 150-200€ gibt es hier: ❌ kein Fitness oder Wellness ❌ kein WLAN auf dem Zimmer ❌ kein Fernsehen oder Telefon auf dem Zimmer. Wenn man Kritik äußert (bitte Reaktionen auf andere schlechte Rezensionen lesen, dann wissen Sie sofort, was ich meine), hört man sich das Ganze nicht an, sondern widerspricht einfach. Da zahle ich lieber das Doppelte und gehe in ein anständiges Hotel. Einziger Pluspunkt: Der Barkeeper mit den kurzen Haaren hat sich wirklich Mühe gegeben und war sehr freundlich.

Super Service, sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Reichhaltiges Frühstück welches keine Wünsche offen lässt. Lage absolut traumhaft direkt am See. Zimmer sehr groß und modern. Perfekt!

Das Hotel liegt einmal über die Straße, direkt am See. Die Zimmer sind mit See- und Bergeblick. Traumhaft schön zu jeder Jahreszeit. Das Personal, in allen Kategorien sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker und reichlich, sowie die Speisen der Abendkarte. Sehr, sehr köstlich. Abends kann man den schönen Tag in der Cocktail Bar auf einen Absacker verbringen.

Sehr gutes Restaurant mit kompetentem, freundlichen Service. Alle Gerichte waren von bester Qualität, einzig die Speisekarte auf der Homepage sollte "erneuert" werden, da die Preise nicht mehr aktuell sind!

Wir waren zum Essen hier. Kleines Restaurant, nett eingerichtet, freundliche Bedienung. Tisch für 4 Personen, ausreichend Platz, bequeme Sitzmöbel. Wir hatten Jacobsmuscheln und Zander. Lecker und schön serviert, Portionen ausreichend., Leistung und Preis akzektabel wenn auch höherpreisig... ..einzig........es gab zum Fisch kein Fischbesteck...ging aber auch mit norm. Besteck, Resevierung empfohlen.

Wij waren hier de eerste week van september. In het historische gebouw, geen lift, maar na de 64 treden werden we beloond met het allermooiste uitzicht over de Tegernsee vanaf onze ruime balkon. De kamer heeft alles wat je nodig hebt en kan perfect verduisterd worden. Alles is zeer proper. Het ontbijt en ook 's avonds, alles heel lekker. Het personeel is supervriendelijk en behulpzaam en maakt op de rustige momenten ook graag een praatje en geeft tips voor trips in de omgeving. Één van de beste vakantie's ooit.

Diese Hotel zeichnet sich nicht nicht nur durch eine spitze Küche aus!!!. Die Mitarbeiter sind auch freundlich und helfen immer - ist sehr wichtig!! Der Charme des Hotels sind die 17 Zimmer!! Klein, aber fein! Ich freue mich auf das nächste Mal 👍🙏

Bardzo słaba restauracja przy hotelu... Wysokie ceny patrząc na wielkość porcji.. I z góry dodatkowo naliczony serwis do rachunku bez informacji o tym 😏

Mein Zimmer war ok, jedoch ohne Balkon. Das Personal war kurz angebunden. Die Organisation für eine größere Gesellschaft war chaotisch, die Zimmerverteilung war sehr unflexibel. Für die Hotelgäste sind wenig Plätze für Frühstück oder Abendessen.

Wir waren während unseres Urlaubs zu einem Abendessen im Luitpold, primär durcv die sehr guten Bewertungen und weil uns das Restaurant angenehm modern und „unrustikal“ erschien. Das ist es auch. Sehr guter, aufmerksamer Service, trotz voller Belegung auf beiden Seiten des Restaurants. Die Speisen sind gut, leicht „gehoben“, auch preislich. Wir hatten Trüffelnudeln, Fisch und ein Kaffee-Dessert, alles war lecker. Fazit: Wir würden wiederkommen.
