Great food... Nice staff... Helps where possible... The view of the lake is simply a dream... We always like to come back...

The ambience deserves 6 stars! The food is wonderful and the service too. So even though the guests behave decently, unfortunately during our visit it became increasingly apparent that some were really rude. Dear Seehaus team, you are great!

Friendly great view Good food normal prices

We eat here often, either inside or outside on the terrace. Of course the terrace is right on the main street, which is very noisy, but you have a nice view of the lake. The food is good, very good, the rice could be a little softer, too al dente for my taste 😅. The prices are, you have to say, appropriate for Tegernsee. The service is top 👌👌. The women's toilet has already been renovated, which is very nice and clean. The men's toilet has not been renovated yet, according to my husband it is very dirty and smelly. It has become our favorite place because the service is simply outstanding!

We celebrated our wedding here at the beginning of December. The staff and the owner were very friendly and attentive. The food was really delicious. The arrangements in advance were uncomplicated and everything was flexible until the end. We were very happy that we were able to celebrate here. Thanks :)

As the awarding of the stars shows, I am very satisfied with the restaurant overall.

Great location but that’s about it. Loveless food, prefabricated industrial goods. Kaspressknödel mainly contained old bread, you had to look for the cheese. Apple fritters tasted like rancid fat. It's also incredibly loud, which is definitely not a recommendation from us

A cafe/restaurant in a location with lots of international tourists that only accepts cash? I no longer understand that!

The terrace is great but the staff is totally overwhelmed... but arrogant and dismissive...

Great trick for a free visit: You order drinks of your choice, enjoy them and take out a deck of cards shortly before the end. The waitress immediately asks if you hadn't read the rules, and shortly afterwards the boss comes out of the kitchen angrily to clear away the drinks and throw you out.

A wonderful bistro with a wonderful view of Lake Tegernsee! The cappuccino was simply delicious – perfectly prepared with a great crema. The relaxed atmosphere and the fantastic view make a visit here a real highlight. Absolute recommendation!

Not recommended! Guests are NOT welcome here! We were there this afternoon at around 1 p.m., the staff is unfriendly and impolite (2 female and 1 male servers), the food (cheese spaetzle) is better than nothing, and the cola is quite good! Only cash payment possible, no changing table and no stroller parking space. Instead, spend your money elsewhere. We can only confirm the bad reviews from our own experience. It is best for the staff to cook for themselves and eat everything themselves or there is a management to educate them.

Not recommended at all. The service is terrible. We are there once time per year and nothing has changed for better. They treat you as an enemy. Only lake view is the reason that we are still coming there. You can pay only cash.

I had a quick stop there today. Since my non-alcoholic drink request didn't exist, they quickly put it together. A bottle of non-alcoholic beer, a glass and lemon fizz. My alcohol-free shandy was ready. Thank you, that was very kind.

Nice place, service but non-existent. We were assigned a table and then ignored for 15 minutes. A service worker was sitting at the laptop. The other one was apparently chatting with someone she knew outside. There weren't many gestures either. All in all, don't come if you're hungry.

I leave behind good memories on a rainy day. The food was good and they were friendly.

rude staff. scarmbled egg is served with a cheap toast from the supermarket , no other bread is possible. every request we had was answered with a rude attitude. shame that they switched owner , would never come again . for an egg with few veggies and two pieces of cheap white bread toast I paid 7.5 euro.

Unfriendly and arrogant...that's why only tourists come...a regular guest doesn't come there twice

Unfortunately the service did not meet our expectations. As soon as we entered the restaurant, the first employee didn't greet us and only pointed us to the free tables, which gave us the feeling that we had to look for a seat ourselves. When we then politely turned to the next member of staff with a question, we received a surprisingly sharp correction that we should have said 'Hello' first. Unfortunately, the service at the table was also not convincing, as the food was served without a word and we lacked friendly attention to the guests. Overall, the visit was disappointing and we would recommend the restaurant more for the beautiful view of Lake Tegernsee than for the service or the food, which unfortunately didn't match the price-performance ratio either

Great location and 1A location, especially when the sun is shining ☀️. However, the conditions are completely incompetent and overwhelmed. They are annoyed, argue with other colleagues in front of the guests and the guest is not seen as king. Here you should switch to trained specialists. Additionally, I have to say that card payment is not possible. Not exceptionally but always. Completely unacceptable and we all know why people do that. Please see my review as a suggestion for improvement! Continued success.

Went to the lake briefly and had a coffee, waited almost 20 minutes, only when I asked, the coffee wasn't brought until after 10 minutes, although the terrace was very full and there were 3 diners, but almost half an hour for one I think it's a long time to wait for coffee, but right on Lake Tegernsee it made it good that you could enjoy the view

Unfriendly service. We stood at the bar table. We found out that it wasn't intended as a guest table after more than 10 minutes when we waved for a waitress... and after a waitress had already left empty glasses with us but hadn't pointed it out to us. There was definitely no way to tell that this wasn't a guest table...

We were at the Seehaus last Wednesday, July 31st, 2024. Small but nice. Super nice service and the world's best non-alcoholic wheat beer (Hopf).

I asked him to open the umbrella, since it was impossible to sit in the middle, and the sun was blazing outside. To which the waitress replied that the sun was shining a little and laughed. And after a few minutes, she opened the umbrella to other visitors at their request.

Beautiful view. It was the first time here but also the last time. 10.90€ for a sausage platter with maybe 10 small slices of baguette for 2 people. I find the baguette expensive. 5.90€ for a normal ham cheese sandwich. And the wasps literally eat you up. Unfortunately the breakfast wasn't worth the money for me.

The view is great. The dude who brings the drinks doesn't have any interest in his life and that's how he works. Stable, keep it up

A pretty little restaurant in a prime location right on the lake promenade. Fantastic and very friendly service and super delicious food and drinks. Both thumps up.

Beautiful view. A little hidden behind the town hall. Excellent food and charming service. You don't have to wait in line to study a confusing menu and then juggle your order to your seat. No, Bavarian coziness still applies here in a modern ambience. I will gladly come again.

We recommend! Whether it's scrambled eggs, white sausage breakfast or other meals, everything is very tasty. It's even worth stopping for a coffee/cappuccino. The staff and service are super friendly and committed. Nowhere else is it as nice to sit on/on Lake Tegernsee as on this terrace. That's why we were there three times :) Have fun:)

Drinks very expensive, a Talk to them, only large drinks are sold, it doesn't matter if you earn more. Apple spritzer and a cola over 8 euros No thanks

Everyone who goes to Tegernsee should sit, drink and eat here, if they can find a place :) A delicious dessert, a cold beer with a view. Despite the busyness, fast service and friendly people are added, and I can't help but recommend it. I hope to come again.

Whenever we are at Tegernsee, we have to stop there.

Rude and unhappy staff. I wanted to ask where the restroom was and they said “not now I don’t have time to answer” which took much longer to say than “it’s upstairs”.

The place is very nice to settle down after a hard hike on Lake Tegernsee. You could comfortably enjoy a coffee on Lake Tegernsee if it weren't for the unfriendly service.

The location is exceptional and invites you to linger - the service is okay - but the food is a disaster. I don't want to add anything to this and assume that the operator is not interested because the area and the location always bring him guests. My lemon soda (see picture) was a rip-off (finds the lemon)

Wonderful bistro with a small lakeside terrace. Iced coffee, homemade lemonade, cappuccino and tarte flambée with black pudding as well as the service were very good! Food must be ordered by 7:25 p.m. in the evening, even if the restaurant is open until 10 p.m. It's sad but right that guests will have to point out the self-evident rules of etiquette of a catering establishment in the drinks and menu!

A larger restaurant by the lake. Unfortunately a little too crowded on Sunday mornings, there was a traffic jam at the counter... Negative points include service, a bit noisy inside. Nice garden part. Food good but €€€

We only had coffee and it was delicious, a view of the lake, a place with an atmosphere and probably a rich past, nice service, we will go back there next year because we liked this region very much, Bavaria still has a bit of an atmosphere and... it's nice, we were passing through on our way to Italy

Impossible, very unfriendly service! When we asked if there was a table available for three people, the waitress with short light brown (about shoulder length) hair said very unfriendly and aggressively, "Take a look for yourself" and walked away from us very quickly. The other guests who noticed this were also amazed and had to laugh at the waitress's behavior! Of course we didn't want to spend any more time there and went to another restaurant where we were warmly welcomed.

We sat outside right by the lake and the panorama simply cannot be beat. The food is really good and the portions are quite large.

We were there on the weekend. The staff was unfriendly, I asked for a slice of lemon, whereupon I was charged 1 euro. Customer friendliness and service are zero.

We visited with friends and our children and were satisfied. Our children really liked the food, and for us, the good service and the great view of the lake remained. We will visit again!

Rarely have I had such a bitter and stomach-unfriendly coffee. Cake didn't satisfy me due to quality and taste. Whipped cream from a spray can! Price/performance: check it off and don't worry.

Unbelievable... we sat down after a long bike ride, the bikes were with us, they didn't bother anyone or were in the way... Before we even sat down properly, we were asked in an extremely unfriendly manner to please park the bikes at the "bike racks"... How come? I have no idea... Okay Browsed through the menu a bit and experienced the impossible contact between the waitress and other customers. Suddenly we decided we just wanted to have a drink and not eat or support anything here anymore! Unfriendly as anything! Rules in the menu are new to me too? See pictures. We won't be coming back!

I only had a couple of hours to explore the town. There was a heavy downpour and I found myself in this wonderful cafe. There were no free seats, but I was lucky. The cake was incredible. I don't remember its name, but it has a mild cheese taste with a little chocolate. I will remember its taste for a long time. The coffee is also very tasty. The windows offer an incredible view of the lake. It was warm and cozy. People were eating something tasty and all the tables were filled with appetizing food. The service is also great! If there is such an opportunity, I will definitely come back.

Tolle Lage, vielleicht sogar beste Lage hier am See. Da kann man sich schlechtes Benehmen, schlechtes Personal, teilweise fragwürdiges Essen leisten. Da ich auch den Chef nach einer berechtigten Reklamation kennen lernen durfte und er mir lauthals Hausverbot gab, (sogar mein Bier noch unter Zeugen voller Wut in den See schüttete) wundert mich gar nix mehr. Vorsicht liebe Besucher sollten Sie da irgendwas zu beanstanden haben. Vielleicht landet da nicht nur Ihr Getränk im See. In diesem Sinne viel Spass

We were out with friends on a Sunday at Tegernsee and took a little detour here. The small but really well located restaurant has the perfect location right on the lake. Here you can enjoy the gigantic view with every drink. There happened to be a seat for four people, so we sat down. The drinks we ordered also came relatively quickly; the ambience really makes all the difference here. The toilets inside were well maintained, which is no longer the case in every restaurant. What should be noted here is that the restaurant prefers cash. There was a notice on the tables that "only cash payment is possible today", and the menus stated that payment with EC or Maestro is only possible from 35 euros. I can completely understand this due to the high fees charged by the card operators. However, this puts some guests off, especially because many young people have little or no cash with them. But I think that the restaurant will always be full due to its great location and also impresses with its service.

The location right on the lake is very nice. We only consumed drinks - everything was perfect (coffee, Aperol), prices were ok. - just adapted to a tourism stronghold. Service very quick & friendly. If you can get a place, absolutely worth a stay

When it's sunny and there's a bit of wind, there's no service outside, that says it all. Unfortunately, when we asked, a lady didn't feel like having guests, so we moved on👍🏽

Very tasty coffee - our service was also very friendly. Cake came very quickly, even though there was only a limited selection. Nice ambience right on the lake, unfortunately prices are correspondingly high. But for a coffee - also thanks to the short waiting time - a great alternative to Aran.

Expensive - waiter tried to seem friendly. The lady at the bar (with the dreadlocks) should perhaps use deodorant - then everything doesn't smell like sweat - I've never experienced anything like that - phew and at 10:30 in the morning that can't be from a long day at work. An absolute no go

Café direkt hinter dem Rathaus am Tegernsee. Direkt am See. Guter Kuchen und Flammkuchen. Bedienung leider etwas gefordert.

Die Lage und Sicht auf den See und die westlichen Berge ist besonders am Abend wunderbar. Im ersten Stock noch besser als im EG. Vom Essen her ist es doch viel mehr ein Café als ein Restaurant. Immerhin gibt's auch am Nachmittag alle warem Speisen auf der Karte.

Es un lugar sencillamente acogedor, maravilloso. Lo recomiendo al 100 por cien. Te hacen sentir muy bien, el ambiente es genial y la amabilidad, la atención y la comida ....ni hablar, magnífico. La vista que tiene, espectacular. Mil gracias por todo

Ausblick auf den Tegernsee fantastisch. Dafür und für den guten Kaffee die 4 Sterne. Wir haben mit den Kindern dort gefrühstückt, das Personal hat extrem gedrängt, damit wir auch vor 11.30 das Frühstück bestellen, dafür war das Essen dann in Ordnung, aber auch nicht mehr. Nur BARZAHLUNG! Ist in unserer Zeit ja wirklich nicht mehr aktuell.
