Heute haben wir dieses Restaurant besucht und waren leider enttäuscht vom Service. Da wir gesehen haben, dass es bald regnen würde, fragten wir, ob wir drinnen sitzen könnten. Uns wurde gesagt, dass das nicht möglich sei, obwohl im Innenbereich viele Tische frei waren. Einen Grund hat man uns nicht genannt. Auf der Terrasse wurden wir unter einen Sonnenschirm gesetzt. Als es zu regnen begann, durften andere Gäste problemlos nach drinnen gehen, uns wurde diese Möglichkeit jedoch nicht angeboten. Als wir nach der Speisekarte fragten, sagte man uns, dass es regne und man sie deshalb nicht nach draußen bringen würde. Nach etwa 10–15 Minuten bekamen wir schließlich nur eine Speisekarte für drei Personen. Das Personal wirkte auf uns wenig freundlich und teilweise herablassend. Die Preise sind etwas hoch, und außerdem kann man nur bar bezahlen. Für ein Restaurant an einem touristischen Ort finden wir das sehr ungewöhnlich. Leider haben wir uns dort nicht willkommen gefühlt.

Die Lage ist traumhaft, auch das Personal ist freundlich. Die Preise sind leider zu hoch, für das, was gastronomisch geboten wird. Wir haben den vegetarischen Flammkuchen gegessen, und dieser war unterdurchschnittlich. Das Gemüse war teils hart teils weich. Es befanden sich Möhren (????) auf dem flammkuchen. Der flammkuchen war kalt und die Creme fraiche Grundlage schlecht abgestimmt. All in All wirkte das Essen lieblos und geschmacklos. Ich komme nicht wieder und esse lieber eine Pommes am Wasser.

Wir hatten einen tollen Abend, sehr leckeres Essen und der Kellner war hervorragend. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder - die Aussicht auf den Tegernsee ist nur zu empfehlen! :)

Leider hatte das Aran zu, deshalb sind wir notgedrungen hier gelandet… Nette Lage, aber die Bedienung war unfreundlich und der Kaffee konnte auch nicht überzeugen…

Kein Stern wäre in unserem Fall die korrekte Bewertung, leider geht das nicht! Wir wurden unfreundlich und arrogant des Platzes verwiesen, da unsere Kinder noch ein Eis in der Hand hatten! Ein Glas Wein gibt es auch deshalb für die Erwachsenen nicht! Für die super Lage gastronomisch falsch besetzt! Viel Erfolg noch :-)

Wunderschöne Lage am See, das Essen war gut.

Ich würde am liebsten 0 Sterne geben. Wir mussten zunächst 30 Minuten auf einen freien Platz warten. Als endlich ein Tisch für unsere 7-köpfige Gruppe frei wurde, haben wir uns – wie zuvor extra von einem anderen Kellner angewiesen – dort hingesetzt. Was dann passierte, ist an Dreistigkeit kaum zu überbieten: Eine ältere Dame mit Brille und kurzen Haaren (anscheinend die Bedienung) kam auf uns zu und fing sofort an, uns aggressiv anzubrüllen: "Sofort aufstehen, dieser Tisch ist reserviert, sofort aufstehen!" Es gab keinerlei normale Kommunikation oder den Versuch, die Situation höflich zu klären. Man wird hier als zahlender Gast wie ein Mensch zweiter Klasse behandelt und angeschrien. Fehler in der internen Absprache des Teams werden direkt am Kunden ausgelassen. Hier werde ich ganz sicher niemals wieder mein Geld lassen. Ich kann dieses Lokal absolut niemandem empfehlen – meidet diesen Laden, wenn ihr einen schönen Abend verbringen wollt!

Tolle Aussicht, netter Service aber das Essen (Frühstück, Käseteller) hat mich nicht begeistert. Einfacher Käse aus der Packung ohne Schnickschnack. Ich hätte mir etwas Tomaten, Paprika, Feigensenf oder irgendwas Buntes dazu gewünscht, sodass es auch ansprechend aussieht. Brot war auch zu wenig.

Nett,freundlich,schönes Ambiente, gegessen haben wir nur ein Griebenschmalzbrot und können nicht viel über die Qualität des Essens sagen.

Eine ausschließliche Barzahlung im Jahr 2026 ist absurd. An einem Touristenort… Alles andere wird zweitrangig

Erste Reihe See. Direkt am Wasser. Unter den Tischen gluckert das Wasser an die Uferpromenade. Die Sonne im Gesicht. Mehr Kulisse geht gar nicht. Trotzdem super freundliches Personal, gute Qualität bei Kaffe und Küche. Und der Blick ist immer gratis dabei. Ganz im Ernst: wenn´s Euch hier nicht gefällt habt Ihr den See nicht verstanden.

Erstens kann man hier nur bar zahlen was mich wirklich überall einfach nur nervt. Als wären die Preie deshalb irgendwie günstiger!? Currywurst war nicht gut, war viel zu wenig gebraten das es einfach nur labbrig war. Die Kellnerin die wir hatten war leider auch nur bei uns wenn wir mehrfach gewunken haben obwohl hier die Hälfte leer war. Preise sind schon oke. Ambiente sehr schön!

Also , ich kann vorhergende Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen? Das Seehaus liegt an einem Dampfersteg und das heißt für mich, das es sich eher um ein Ausflugslokal handelt und nicht um ein Restaurant. Zu mir waren immer alle Kellner/innen immer mehr als korrekt . Auch das Essen und Gertänke , waren immer überdurchschnittlich gut . Weine alle sehr trinkbar ( gut ausgewählt und nie zu lange offen ) und alles in einem guten Preisleistungsverhältniss . Der Chef ist ein echtes Original und gibt meinen/ unseren Besuchen immer eine sehr vergnügliche Note . An ALLE die sich beschweren, vielleicht sollte man über sein eigenes Verhalten nachdenken ? Evtl . Liegt es ja an der eigenen schlechten Erziehung ? So das musst mal raus ! Ich/ Wir fühlen uns im SEEHAUS immer SEHR WOHL !!!!

Lage ohne Zweifel sehr gut, aber die Servicekraft-Damen gehen beide nicht. Unfreundlichkeit in Person. Dienstleistung geht anders. Zum Glück gibt es genug Auswahl im näheren Umkreis. So ist der Tag noch versöhnlich geendet, wenn man sich schon über die unterste Stufe der Leiter ärgern muss.

Ein schönes Café-Restaurant direkt am See mit einer großartigen Lage. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und die Atmosphäre angenehm. Ein perfekter Ort, um zu entspannen und die Aussicht auf den See zu genießen.

Der richtige Ort für ein leckeres Getränk mit wunderbarer Kulisse.

Der Kellner behandelt Ausländer sehr schlecht und bevorzugt eindeutig Deutsche.

Tolle Kuchen, sehr schöne Aussicht. Der Service war sehr freundlich. Leider etwas laut,wenn es voller wird. Aber alles in allem ein sehr schönes Café/Bistro.

Ein hübsches kleines Lokal in bester Lage direkt an der Seepromenade. Fantastischer und sehr freundlicher Service und super leckeres Essen und Getränke. Beide Daumen hoch.

Espresso leider sehr bitter. Leider hat der Kellner auf meine konstruktive Kritik wenig Einsicht gezeigt.

Als ich nur ein dunkles Weizen bestellt habe kam die Aussage: " ah.. ok .." die Mimik ganz zu schweigen. Geht gar nicht.

Wir waren gerne dort. Leider war letzte Besuch Enttäuschung im Hinblick auf Unfreundlichkeit, Pflichtsitze, Qualität der Ware...

Lage direkt am Wasser ist super und das Essen/Getränke passen auch. Leider ist der Service sehr unfreundlich, die Kellnerin kam mit dem Kommentar „Ich war grad eben schon bei ihnen“ an den Tisch, als wir noch etwas bestellen wollten. Die Erfahrung spiegelt sich auch in den anderen Kommentaren wider, beim nächsten Mal lieber ein paar Meter weitergehen, da kommen noch genug Alternativen mit nettem Personal.

Tja was soll ich sagen, gewollt aber nicht gekonnt. Die Kuchen waren nix, die Waffel sehr teigig, der Espresso allerdings war von sehr guter Qualität. Das Personal eher lustlos. Gastronomie kann bei so einem Platz und in der Lage eigentlich Spaß machen, nur mit der Qualität der Speisen bleibt es eher unterer Durchschnitt. Leider.

Auch ich kann die so positiven Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. Wir sind zum 6mal am Tegernsee.Nettes Kaffee leider durch die durchlaufenden Menschenmassen an Gemütlichkeit gestört.Der Service ist oft überfordert [zu wenig Personal]Stammgäste werden schneller zufrieden gestellt. Schade

Super freundlich. Köstlicher Kaffee. Tolle Lage.

Hatten das erste mal guten Kaffee bei schönem Ambiente, deswegen wollten wir nochmal vorbeischauen. Nachdem wir nicht angesprochen wurden und dann auf unsere Nachfrage in den Außenbereich geschickt wurden, wollten wir uns einen Platz nehmen bei dem die Stühle an den Tisch gelehnt waren. Die Kellnerin hat uns dann seltsam unfreundlich und ruppig weggeschickt weil der Bereich doch offensichtlich geschlossen ist (angelehnte Stühle?) und meinte wir sollen uns doch einfach getrennt an Einzelplätze setzen, und das in einem Ton als hätten wir sie zuvor beleidigt. Sehr ungeduldiges und unhöfliches Personal, darüber haben wir beim ersten Besuch hinweggesehen aber das war jetzt zu viel. Schade.

Sehr gerne wieder, sehr freundlicher Service. Bargeld nicht vergessen 😊

Wir mögen es hier gerade im Sommer am Wasser :) das Essen war bisher immer lecker. Mit Karte zahlen zu können wäre jedoch klasse.

Leider habe ich innerhalb von zwei Minuten nach meiner Bestellung um eine Änderung auf koffeinfreien Kaffee gebeten, mir wurde aber gesagt, die Zubereitung sei bereits im Gange, daher sei es zu spät. Nicht gerade kundenorientiert.

Dieses kleine Café neben dem Holzsteg am Seeufer bietet eine ansehnliche Anzahl an Tischen im Freien. Der Blick auf den See ist herrlich. Bitte beachten Sie, dass nur Barzahlung möglich ist.

Wir haben einen goldenen Herbsttag erwischt. Auf der Terrasse war das Genuss pur. Gegessen haben wir nichts, aber das Bier war frisch!

I asked for an order for chairs. I was told there weren't any. Strange, there were some the day before. So my husband couldn't sit there, and we moved on. It's a shame about the poor service.

The view is the only good thing about this place. The food was poor quality – our €14 Caprese came with unripe, badly cut tomatoes. Prices are way too high for what you get, and the service was rude. Drinks were fine, but I’d only come here for a drink, nothing more.

After a polite question about whether they were still open (it was 7:30 p.m.), I received a very cheeky reply that I could probably just say hello first. The question would have been unnecessary if the table had still been set, with a candle or some other decoration. We were very happy to receive two cold drinks. There was nothing else. I think the location by the lake is great, but everything else around it doesn't make you feel welcome.

A beautiful place to enjoy a drink on the terrace and look out over Lake Tegernsee.

Perfect place to stop after a hike for reasonably priced and uncrowded beers. It's cash only, but the signs on the tables are very clear about this.

I can recommend this place. Unfortunately, it rained, so the great outdoor seating by the lake wasn't available. But it was quite nice inside, too. The service was super friendly. The food was good. We'll go back.

A quick experience: We had just occupied a table when the waitress came to clear it after the previous guests. When I saw the notice on the table, I asked, "Is payment only possible in cash?" The waitress nodded and seated two other people at our table right in front of us. This behavior seems like a sign of gross disrespect and is simply discouraging. We hadn't even mentioned that we didn't have any cash. What a waste of time.

An unbeatable, beautiful location right on the lake. We had very friendly service every time. However, unbelievably in 2025 - no card payments! 🙈

The service was neutral, and the location on the lake was great. There's nothing special on the menu. The staff seemed stressed. All in all, the Seehaus thrives on its location. Cash only, in a tourist destination, and given the current climate, it loses points. I won't be visiting again.

The staff is grumpy, and guests feel like they're disturbing the place. We had cake and coffee, which tasted good, though.

We took the steamer over and had a drink there. The staff was friendly. The drinks and fries came quickly and tasted delicious. The view is fantastic.

Of course, the location is excellent, but that's about the only thing they have going for them – and they're probably just "resting on their laurels." It used to be a nice place, but unfortunately, not anymore.

Seven of us were there today. We wanted something to eat and drink. The waiter who tried to serve us was completely unfriendly. Because we had moved the umbrella 30 cm because of the sun, he immediately gave us a hard time. He claimed we were blocking the path, even though all the umbrellas were in the path. After we confronted him about it, he said, "Don't argue with me." He then left. We then got up.

Best location right on the lake, always well attended by friendly and relaxed people of all ages. A really nice young boss with a feel for genuine and warm hospitality, a team of hard-working girls, a small but fine food and drinks menu, a welcoming atmosphere and a charming restaurant. What more does a person need in life? Why go on holiday when the best is right on your doorstep? Chapeau my friends and a very sincere "thank you" for being there. A little insider tip is the well-tempered "rarity fridge" on the first floor. A few days ago I was waiting for visitors and had to move from the terrace into the restaurant because of the impending storm. I was thirsty and in Prosecco. The friendly bar manager recommended a German sparkling wine to me. It was absolutely brilliant and the price-performance ratio was amazing. 🔨 As luck would have it, I knew the winemaker personally. The world is so small. In the rarest of rarities, wines and sparkling wines of the highest quality slumber. I'll get to them sometime. I promise. So, dear Seehaus team... stay the way you are, with your heart ❤️ in the right place and simply unique. P.S. Thanks again to Chrf. He saved my life today. Very nice, located directly on Lake Tegernsee on a jetty with through traffic. We enjoyed a delicious piece of cake with cherries and an iced coffee, absolutely delicious.

It's a lovely spot to sit right by the lake, although the footpath along the lake leads right through the beer garden. The staff were very friendly, and we got our drinks very quickly.

The sundowner was quite nice. We'd love to come back.

I recently had a deeply disappointing experience at this coffee restaurant. The staff were incredibly unfriendly and treated us with an arrogant manner. When we asked if we could eat on the terrace, we were rudely told that this was not possible – without any explanation or courtesy. Instead, we were fobbed off with a curt "Sit somewhere inside where there is space," as if we were a nuisance. The service was not only uncaring, but downright rude. It felt as if we were not guests, but an imposition. I will not recommend this restaurant under any circumstances and will definitely not be returning. There are plenty of other cafes that know how to treat customers respectfully.

Disappointing – unfortunately, the same experience every time We visit the TegernseeHaus regularly, primarily because of its beautiful location – but the service is getting more frustrating each time. The staff is consistently bad-tempered, unfriendly, and seems overwhelmed. As a guest, you quickly get the feeling that you're more of a nuisance than a welcome. The processes are slow and seem chaotic – even simple orders take forever. Today, unfortunately, it became even more apparent: We ordered an Aperol Spritz, a beer, and a piece of cake. In the photos, you can see the generous slice of orange that was given to us – does that really justify the price of €8.90? And the cake I ordered... never arrived. No notice, no apology – it was simply forgotten. It's a real shame that things aren't improving here. Especially in such a beautiful place, you expect at least a modicum of hospitality – but that's completely lacking here.

I stopped here after a hike. The soup and beer were delicious. The service was very friendly and attentive. All in all, much, much better than the crowded brewery.

The location and views are truly outstanding – a beautiful place to eat and relax. Unfortunately, the service was rude, which somewhat spoiled the overall impression. I understand that working in the catering industry can be stressful, but I still think that friendly service should be a given.

Tried to have something to eat here. Staff did not greet us, most tables were reserved for guests who did not turn up. We were an inconvenience for them. They didn’t bother to take our order, so we left. View is great, but no service.

A visit to Seehaus Tegernsee is a real highlight - a place where you can unwind. The location right on the lake is simply fantastic: the panorama with a view of the water and the surrounding mountains is impressive at any time of day and creates a great atmosphere. Especially at sunset. The Seehaus is impressive in terms of cuisine: the cuisine is down-to-earth and creative. Particularly noteworthy is the good wine selection: from elegant white wines to characterful red wines, there is something to suit every taste - advice from the boss included. A real heart of the house is the Seehauswirt, who immediately creates a feel-good atmosphere with his warm, open manner. Together with the committed and attentive service team, your visit to the Seehaus becomes an all-round successful experience. You immediately notice that real hospitality is the focus here. Conclusion: Absolute recommendation!

Decent food, nice view and good prices

So the place is of course nice, there by the lake. But the cake was a bit tasteless and the staff wasn't overly motivated. It was uncomfortably cold in the restaurant. Doesn't have to be!

The location right on Lake Tegernsee is simply unbeatable – really brilliant! The tarte flambée and the waffle were super tasty and definitely impressed. The service was ok, but could be a bit friendlier to make the experience perfect.

Had an extremely delicious breakfast here with a view of the lake. Will definitely come back. On weekends the Seehaus is very busy - like almost all restaurants and cafés on Tegernsee. But it's easy to get a table in the morning or evening, otherwise patience helps 😉

A very nice place to relax right on the lake, on the terrace when the weather is nice and on the first floor when the weather is bad with a fantastic view of Lake Tegernsee and its surroundings. The tarte flambée is highly recommended. Price performance ratio for food and drinks is great for the location. My only negative comment: Guys, we are in Bavaria, they don't serve beer in 0.4 liters, sorry

We went there on a working day early afternoon, and the whole upper floor was completely empty. We decided to sit next to the french window, and since we wanted for everyone to have a nice view over the lake, we moved the table 15 cm to the right. When the waitress came to take our order, she didn't greet even greet us, but immediatelly demanded that we shift the table back to its place. It was a very uncomfortable situation, especially since my boyfriend's family was with us, and we just wanted to have a nice drink together. After we moved the table back at its original place (whole 15cm to the left) the waitress took our order. Now I would completely understand if we were disturbing other guests around us, but since we were the only ones in the room, I assumed that this arrangement would not hurt anyone, especially because we were gonna stay for half an hour, and of course, move the table back before we leave. This way we stayed 15 mins, and we will never come back there again. We would have actually left immediatelly after being treated like that, but we didn't want to bother our family.

Deceptive information about payments and very rude service. The food was ok for the price, not great. The location is nice so that is what you are paying for so that part is fine. The particularly bad part is that they advertise that they accept EC cards. And then when I ask the pay with one the servicer was incredibly rude and told me they only take cash.

Very good day ticket for a reasonable price. Despite the stress, the service was calm and very attentive. We were very satisfied.

The ambience deserves 6 stars! The food is wonderful and the service too. So even though the guests behave decently, unfortunately during our visit it became increasingly apparent that some were really rude. Dear Seehaus team, you are great!
