Were only there for cocktails with friends. They were very good.

We already know Maiwirt from its previous locations in Rottach-Egern and were excited about the concept at au lac 51. A mix of traditional dishes with an Asian twist and great spices. Were very satisfied, very pleasant service. Would love to come back.

It's good for a one-time meal. The meat in the dish we ordered was still half raw... But we got compensation.

Our stay was fantastic, as in previous years. Rooms, spa, food, everything was perfect and we had the perfect disconnect. We still have to deduct one star because the Easy Sunday package explicitly includes use of the spa on Monday until 6 p.m. Unfortunately, the spa was closed at 2 p.m. at very short notice and without warning. We understand that something can always happen (we were told repairs), but if we had known about it on Sunday evening or at least at breakfast, it would definitely have been better.

Friendly, unobtrusive service who regularly asks whether everything fits, whether it tastes good or whether something is needed. The food is very tasty and we also really enjoyed the Kaiserschmarrn 😅😋

The food here was good, had pizza and pasta, the salad tasted like almost nothing, very bland. The waiter was very rude, we were given a bottle of oil and vinegar with the salad and a bowl of parmesan, everything was placed right in front of us and while we were still eating, the waiter came to our table and started eating them Clearing away vinegar and oil bottles and leaning completely over our table while we were still eating was very inappropriate. He then did the same thing again with the parmesan bowl, very strange. We then asked for the bill, the restaurant is not recommended, the service was anything but appropriate.

A great lacotion, very friendly staff and interesting Levantine cuisine on Lake Tegernsee. The evening was lovely, the atmosphere was extremely appealing and the staff were very accommodating and nice. We were a little less impressed with the food. We are not experts in Levantine cuisine, but some dishes were simply boring, uncreative and simply not worth the money. In a few years, with a new menu, we might come back.

A very nice place to relax right on the lake, on the terrace when the weather is nice and on the first floor when the weather is bad with a fantastic view of Lake Tegernsee and its surroundings. The tarte flambée is highly recommended. Price performance ratio for food and drinks is great for the location. My only negative comment: Guys, we are in Bavaria, they don't serve beer in 0.4 liters, sorry

We can only agree with the critical reviews here. We have been frequent guests at the Hotel “das Tegernsee” in recent years and have always reserved a table in the Senger Restaurant for dinner. The first few times everything was fantastic. Great location, great view, good service and very tasty food, which was cleverly and creatively prepared. On our last visit we were more than disappointed. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is no longer right here. Starter, main course, side dishes and salad without any sophistication and no taste highlight, as you would expect in this price range and as we knew it from the past. You feel a bit ripped off. It's a real shame because the hotel is highly recommended. We can only advise you to save your money and invest in a delicious restaurant in Tegernsee.
