Romantic building with great food and good service

This cozy restaurant in Rottach-Egern impresses with its attractive interior and its great location on Lake Tegernsee. The dishes consumed tasted good, but unfortunately the loin of milk veal was not served in one piece; this was unfortunately not clear from the menu. Unfortunately, the thin slices were a bit dry. The wine selection was extensive. The cocktails were well prepared. The service was exemplary, attentive and friendly. Cashless payment is possible.

No less than exceptionell. Great design, layout, and atmosphere of this small but exquisite combined restaurant/kitchen-accessories shop operated by the owners. Several dishes tried were delightful and plenty. Reservations might be necessary during peak.

On the way home we stopped at the Bräustüberl and enjoyed a snack.

It's good for a one-time meal. The meat in the dish we ordered was still half raw... But we got compensation.

A beautiful hotel in a prime location! We stayed here for 3 nights and absolutely enjoyed it. The sauna and spa area is very nice. The panoramic sauna with the best view is a dream! The breakfast left nothing to be desired. The service is also great. Haus Tegernsee with a view of Lake Tegernsee is very nice, the rooms are cozy. The houses are connected to each other - the paths to the spa area lead through the houses, making everything easy to reach. The only downside here is that there was no elevator to get from the reception to the room. So the heavy suitcases have to be carried up the stairs. However, there is also help from friendly colleagues here. Parking spaces and underground parking directly at the hotel, there is enough space. We'll definitely be back! I would happily recommend the hotel. If you are looking for relaxation and want to have a great day, Tegernsee is the right place for you.

Very surprised by the great redesign of the former Seehotel restaurant in Steg1. You can sit nicely with a view of Lake Tegernsee and enjoy wonderful food (cafe and restaurant)

Food is okay but nothing more, unfortunately truffle had little flavor and in my opinion was not entirely fresh. The service is a disappointment, the strong gentleman in the service made us feel unwelcome and not well served. When we wanted to pay he claimed that he had asked whether with a card or not, which was not true. I won't come back, we regret not spending the evening somewhere else. No recommendation.

The clubhouse impresses with its exceptional location directly on the lake and offers a wonderful atmosphere. The interior design is stylish and the food also impressed us. The service was friendly and attentive. However, the menu is somewhat limited, especially in the area of ​​Levantine cuisine. A more flexible “mix and match” concept for Mezze would be desirable, as the current specified combinations are rather small. It would be great if guests could choose from a wider selection such as hummus, muhamara, baba ganoush, tabouleh and others. We originally planned to celebrate our wedding in the clubhouse. However, after an initial positive experience - we received a brochure and were given a tour of the premises - communication declined significantly. Several email inquiries remained unanswered, and we were also put off several times by telephone. In order to clarify the outstanding issues, we even traveled to Tegernsee for a weekend, but no one was available to talk to us there. We would still like to organize an aperitif with mezze in the clubhouse, but we had to plan dinner elsewhere as we couldn't accept any further delays. Clearer and more proactive communication would have been desirable here. If on-site wedding celebrations are not desired, this should be communicated transparently from the start to avoid misunderstandings and unnecessary planning effort. In summary, the clubhouse offers an exceptional location with a great ambience and fine cuisine, but the lack of communication leaves a disappointing impression.

Great location but that’s about it. Loveless food, prefabricated industrial goods. Kaspressknödel mainly contained old bread, you had to look for the cheese. Apple fritters tasted like rancid fat. It's also incredibly loud, which is definitely not a recommendation from us

Unfortunately I got food poisoning there, which is absolutely unacceptable, especially in this price range
