We often go to the 4th floor for a great cappuccino, a good cake or something to eat. Most of the time it works quite well and the service is attentive. Today the three of us left after ignoring each other for 20 minutes. It was shortly before 3 p.m. - three service staff - few guests - after more than 10 minutes the menus were on the table - after another 10 minutes without being able to order anything we took the elevator back to the parking garage - unfortunately one of the worst service experiences in a long time

A very delicious breakfast!! 😋 I also find the atmosphere very cozy and nice. I went twice alone and once with someone. But it was always packed. If you want to go there, it's best to make a reservation or plan ahead.

One of my favorite restaurants in Aachen! The service is great, the view is lovely and the foos is stellar! The burger is phenomenal and the wine pairings are yummy too! I’ll certainly be returning next time I’m in Aachen.

I can definitely recommend this cafe! The service was super friendly and nice. The food was very tasty and fresh. We were really excited. Great selection of food and drinks. You should probably reserve in advance. Went there spontaneously and were lucky to get a spot!

We went for a special occasion, it was empty when we arrived and with a nice music in the background. Our waitress was friendly and attentive to our needs the whole time. I felt a bit watched 😅, but I take it nicely. Food was delicious and the atmosphere was pleasant. We recommend it! 😉

For years I have been coming to this restaurant regularly to eat or to celebrate important events, but this time I was very very disappointed. The service was really beyond imagination, not competent and quite unfriendly: a real disgrace. When we asked what the "leek ash" was in the whipped butter they serve with bread, the waitress more or less explained how it's made and then added that it doesn't taste like anything anyway and they just sprinkle it on because it looks nice. Point two: and this is really something I have never experienced anywhere in Europe (let alone the USA or Canada). They seated two people with a dog next to us - the table was very close - without asking us if he was bothering us, even though there was enough space elsewhere in the restaurant. Then, since the two dog owners were friends with the staff - either the servants or the assistant chef - they brought the dog a fillet of raw meat and the dog started eating it on the floor. I'm a vegetarian and I felt sick from the smell of the dog and the raw meat on the floor - unimaginable in a restaurant like this! I don't know if the chef wasn't there or if he was on vacation, Anton de Bruyn is usually attentive and very good at his job. But the dishes today also seemed to be poorly prepared, and where they had changed something, there were no well-chosen combinations. I'm very sorry: certainly the staff should be better selected and when changing the daily specials, make sure that there are chefs who can find suitable combinations. It's a shame, I won't be recommending the "Emma" - which used to be one of my favorite places in Frankfurt - and won't be coming back any time soon.

Ordered a beyond meat vegan burger for lunch, I was served a patty inside a bun. As dry as it sounds. The chef said no other ingredient are vegan in their kitchen despite the waiter‘s confirmation ar first. Just sad.
