What can I say? The stars speak for themselves. Great service, delicious food (including vegan alternatives), and the menu is generally such that there's something for everyone. Yes, the food is a bit more expensive, but a) you don't eat out every day, and b) good service deserves to be rewarded. The ambiance is also very nice (you can watch the sunset). So, in conclusion: we'd be happy to come back. The only thing is that the parking is a bit harder to find. But then you'll just have to walk a bit :)

Well, I am personally very disappointed with the food I ordered. A meal consisting of beef steak, a small dollop of herb butter, half a plate full of potato wedges without any dip or anything else, and a small side salad. The steak was ordered medium but was so tough that I didn't eat it all. After the experience, I found the price of around €26 to be very expensive just for the food. The service was rather poor; we waited what felt like half an hour for our drinks. Ordering the food only took 30-40 minutes because we had to ask a server ourselves if we could place an order with her. The staff were rather unfriendly. All in all, the ambience was great, right by the water. You got the impression that families with children were more welcome here. I can't recommend it in general.

The restaurant is very nice, especially the terrace. The interior is very nice, but everything is quite cramped, and there's no screen for parties. The floor is beautifully made, but there are some cracks where you'll fall over them several times. The floor is also very slippery. Not suitable for nice shoes. The staff is excellent and very friendly.

I was at the Krokodil as a photographer for a wedding, and I really enjoyed it. The ambiance, with a beach and a view of the Dahme River, the service was incredibly friendly and professional, the food was delicious and served on time—a truly fantastic location.

Not very cheap but great ambience

We were there on Sunday around 1:30 p.m. – unfortunately, there was no food as it was still brunch time – too bad we didn't know that... We didn't find any information about it on the website either. Just a drink and left!

The restaurant is beautifully located right on the water – with a small swimming area nearby, which is especially great with children. The staff was very friendly and especially attentive to our 3-year-old daughter – that was really pleasant and welcoming. We were there for brunch: The food on offer was tasty, but the drinks were rarely refilled. Fresh fruit was also almost completely missing – that would have been very welcome in warm weather. The selection was overall okay, but not particularly extensive. Unfortunately, for just under €25 per person, it's not entirely justified. The value for money here should really be reconsidered – €20 would be a better fit for the location and service. Another negative point: There is no parking at the restaurant. Finding a spot can quickly become stressful – especially with small children. Overall, a lovely place with attentive service and a great location, but due to the high prices and difficult parking situation, it will probably be a one-time visit for us. A real shame, because there's definitely potential there.

We've eaten at Krokodil several times. Unfortunately, the food there isn't really recommended: it's simply nothing special, rather substandard, and simply too expensive. But you can enjoy the wonderful ambiance by the water with a drink. The food definitely needs some work—I really can't understand all the good reviews.

I was here five years ago and I'm very satisfied. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly. The view and atmosphere were simply fantastic. It's a shame it rained today, but that's one more reason to make the long journey from Pankow again. From the outside, the Krokodil is very inconspicuous in the middle of a residential area, but the view and atmosphere are impressive.

We celebrated our wedding in the Krokodil ballroom, including an outdoor ceremony on the beach at the riverside pool. Everything was perfect: the ambiance, the location, the service, the food, the drinks, and even before the big day, we always felt well looked after and advised. They make every wish come true. We'd like to say a huge THANK YOU to the entire team! We can 100% recommend it. We would celebrate there again!

Our wedding celebration on June 14th in the ballroom of the Krokodil Restaurant was simply unforgettably beautiful. Even the preliminary arrangements went absolutely smoothly. Our many questions and requests were always answered quickly, friendly, and competently – we felt well looked after and in good hands from the very beginning. On the day itself, everything was very well organized. The service staff was consistently friendly, attentive, and always on hand. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the buffet – the selection was extensive and the food was of the highest quality. A special highlight was the beautiful terrace with its magnificent water view, which was particularly well received by our guests. There, we were able to chat in a relaxed atmosphere and enjoy the ambiance. The photos we were able to take on the jetty right by the water turned out fantastic and will remind us of this special day for a long time to come. In summary, we are very happy and can wholeheartedly recommend the Krokodil Restaurant. A big thank you to the entire team – you made our wedding day a wonderful experience!

Our Rose Wedding Anniversary celebration in June 2025 was fantastic! Exactly what we had hoped for: the kids played on the beach and went swimming, while the parents could celebrate and chat. It's the perfect place for celebrations like this! It was also superbly organized and the service and bar staff were incredibly friendly! Thank you so much!

A wonderful spot in Köpenick. It's a great place to unwind and, if you want, take a dip before dinner. Parking is a bit limited.

On the evening itself, the entire team did an outstanding job. The waitresses were attentive and friendly throughout the evening and night, ensuring that our guests lacked nothing. The buffet was simply fantastic! The selection was huge, and every single dish was incredibly delicious. Our guests were also completely thrilled with the quality and variety of the food. The location itself was perfect for our celebration. The atmosphere was exactly what we had hoped for. We are extremely satisfied with everything and can wholeheartedly recommend Restaurant Krokodil. Great restaurant located directly on the Dahme. Our visit said that the stay felt like a vacation The menu is diverse. Vegetarians will also find what they are looking for. We were there with nine people to celebrate a birthday. However, the staff doesn't know Espresso Martini. I asked nicely if they could mix one for me, even though it wasn't listed on the menu. They then said they had a martini and espresso there. When I explained that vodka goes into a classic espresso martini, I was told that of course you could do that too. The result was very cute... we got an espresso in an espresso cup with a shot of vodka ;). It still tasted good, but of course it wasn't the drink I wanted :) We'll definitely be happy to come back in the summer. Last year we also sat comfortably on the terrace during the sunset.

It's actually always closed company when we tried to stop there. I don't understand the concept of this restaurant. If spontaneous guest operations are not desired, then this should be communicated that way. We've probably tried it 10 times now and we'll give it up now. If you don't want to, you already have it, as the saying goes.

Unfortunately I was there in the cold season. But that also made me want more (outside area). Everything was perfect, a large group of Korean guests were full, satisfied and happy at the end. The only problem: There are practically no parking spaces anywhere

In September 2024 my husband and I were invited to a wedding here. The location is incredibly beautiful, both outside and inside. One star for that. The staff was also very friendly and quick. A second star for that. However, the buffet was run of the mill, in terms of taste and aesthetics. Price-performance ratio didn't match at all. I know the price the bride and groom paid per person. But the purest catastrophe was this: The wedding started at 5 p.m. and was planned by the organizer until around 2 a.m. The celebration took place indoors and outdoors on the terrace. It was pretty hot that day. At around 10 p.m. we were asked to go inside because of the noise. All doors and windows were closed. Inside, the sauna temperatures were inhumane. Everyone was soaking wet. Even those who just sat. Only those who smoke were allowed out. Inside, no air conditioning, no fan, absolutely nothing. The air was still. I was pregnant, not smoking of course, and about to pass out, went out alone, sat on a bench and got some fresh air. Less than a minute later, an employee runs after me and asks me to go back inside. I'm only allowed to stay outside if I have a smoke. I had to have a really long discussion to stay out. She was less interested in the fact that I was pregnant. And this happened a few more times. Every time I sat down alone outside without making a sound, someone would follow me and the discussion would start all over again. To the owner of the restaurant: Don't host weddings at your restaurant in the summer if you're not prepared to provide humane temperatures indoors by investing in air conditioning and/or fans. You can't lock your guests in in the heat and only let them out briefly when they want a smoke. It was a wedding with about 60 people. The room is not particularly large. The oxygen was gone in no time. Under no circumstances would I advise anyone here to have their summer wedding at this restaurant.

A cozy and tasty Christmas brunch! Four of us were there on Christmas Day and were able to feast on duck breast, red, green and Brussels sprouts, dumplings and gravy (of course there was also a cold buffet). The brunch was also great for vegetarians. Everything is fresh and homemade and always replenished. The only suggestion for improvement: please no packaged jam and butter - that doesn't suit you. The price of €38.50 per person was absolutely justified and we would be happy to come back. 💚-Thank you also for the beautiful ambience and the very friendly and considerate service!

We were able to celebrate our birthday at the Krokodil on Sunday. From the planning to the great food, we felt our guests were very well looked after. The food tastes very good, the service is great. I would particularly like to emphasize that special requests are dealt with competently and professionally. The crocodile is particularly recommended for people with celiac disease. Highly recommended and the atmosphere is also very appealing. Good service, everything is fine. Only the parking situation on site is very limited. Is a small thoroughfare with residents' parking spaces or no-parking zones. Parking nearby is relatively rare and you can easily plan a long walk in the evening.

The Krokodil is a great restaurant and is located right on the water. It's a little hidden in a residential area. Parking is not ideal. The atmosphere is rustic and not too overwhelming. The service girls were very attentive and accommodating. The food is super delicious. There is a fairly limited and constantly changing menu, but there is something for everyone. We'd love to come back.

Unverschämte Preise für mieses Essen: Beispiele: "Penne mit Pfifferlingen": Penne weich gekocht, lauwarm serviert, fade und geschmacklose Soße, "Fischstäbchen": nur 3 mickrige Stäbchen und ein Klacks geschmackloser Kartoffelbrei : "spanischer Vorspeisenteller" 2 hauchdünne Eckchen Käse, 3 hauchdünne Scheibchen Serrano, etwas Ruccola und Zucchini drunter...das wars für 15€...dazu: Essen kam getrennt. Erst die Kinder, dann ca. 45 min später das für die Erwachsenen. Bis auf die tolle Location ein totaler Reinfall für enorm viel Geld.

Reserved a table six months ago, but it was already occupied for brunch. We were offered a seat at the cat table or outside. Very embarrassing for us with our visit and not the first time that a reservation was canceled. No, thank you very much.
