I think the food here is simply too expensive. Three toy eggs with bread and salad garnish for €10, sorry, that's just not acceptable.

Incompetent and unfriendly staff who can't even organize a table for three. If you don't want guests, you can just close the place. We'll go somewhere else where you're still valued as a guest, and we definitely won't be coming back to Auszeit.

The wait for coffee and breakfast is getting longer and longer. There was something about the breakfast that we didn't like either. Unfortunately, there isn't a huge selection of restaurants in Pankow. But we'll look for something else in the future. I definitely find it too loud!

Auszeit serves Homemade bio pasta & hamburgers. Their salads 👌🏻👍🏻 It is usually busy at the weekend. They take reservations and I suggest you make a reservation for evenings and weekends. They have a small children’s menu as well. I like the cosy atmosphere, desserts and coffee.

The pastry chef conjures up cakes so heavenly that you'll instantly become addicted – seriously, after the first slice, relapse is inevitable! 😋 That's why I ate three pieces of cake. Whether it was Linzer Torte, apple pie with custard...hmmmm, or blueberry tart or whatever...it's a true explosion of flavor in your mouth. The service is simply fantastic – friendly, attentive, and seemingly clairvoyant. Before you even know what you want, it's already on the table. In short: If you don't enjoy a break here, it's your own fault. Just a tip: Don't forget your stretchy pants. 🍰☕

We went here for breakfast on a Sunday. We had a reservation, which I would recommend, but it was very busy. The team was significantly understaffed, but they still did a great job. I had the vegetarian breakfast, which tasted good, but the arugula cream was a bit too strong. The portion was okay.

Even when it's crowded (especially on weekends and holidays) the service is attentive and friendly; recommended to make a reservation and bring time to enjoy the food - relax, this place is called Auszeit ("time out") for a reason ;) All food is freshly prepared and delicious, the cakes are amazing and in summer time the outside seating is lovely, too. Dogs are welcome as well :)

The burger and lemonade were okay. Unfortunately, the bruschetta wasn't very tasty. The fruit sundae at the end of the evening was particularly disappointing: The pineapple was fermented, which also negatively affected the other fruits. I had to skip the dessert. When I informed the waitress, she simply replied that she would forward it to the kitchen – but no compensation was offered. Under these circumstances, I'm afraid I can't give a better rating.

The "auszeit" (time out) is ideal for a delicious and healthy meal or simply a time out. Even at the last table, the waiter quickly noticed me. A small improvement would be if the appetizer weren't served at the same time as the main course, otherwise you wouldn't know where to start ;)

Fantastic restaurant we're always coming back to. The homemade lemonade is a staple and so delicious, burgers, pasta, even cakes or breakfast platters, there was never anything I didn't like. I do highly recommend to book a table in advance though, since we often ran into the issue that we wanted to spontaneously visit and they were fully booked.

Unfortunately, one of our two dishes was forgotten when ordering, even though a handheld device was used. The prices are also very expensive. And one dish was charged at full price even though we had left out the double bread. We wish the service could be more accommodating here.

My absolute favorite restaurant in Pankow!

Contrary to other reviews, I wasn't particularly impressed. Specifically, the burgers we had weren't worth the price, nor were the drinks. The ambiance wasn't bad, and the service was friendly. But it's not a place I'd visit again, so I wouldn't recommend it.

Used to be a favorite – unfortunately, the decline has declined considerably We've been a favorite guest for a long time, but our last visit was disappointing. The coffee was already cold when the food was served. Each breakfast platter only comes with one roll – any additional rolls are charged, which is incomprehensible given the already high prices. My mother's omelet was undercooked and had to be remade upon request. We paid just under €150 for seven people. Unfortunately, the value for money here is no longer there – we won't be back.

I always look forward to a visit to auszeit. They have a regular menu, which offers a wide variety, as well as changing seasonal specials. I especially recommend the pasta and salads!

A nice shop in itself. But they seem to select their staff based on their location, so they don't have any overview of the place at all. I've been a regular customer for over five years now, and it's always the same. The waiters just don't come. Even after you make yourself known, you get a smile, but nothing much else happens. We recognized some of the staff, the working atmosphere seemed to be right and everyone was nice, attentive and provided calm service. The food is not boring, advice is also available if desired and the prices are reasonable. If you want, you can take a look at the sparkling kitchen. Nothing remains hidden here. Please don't just run in and sit down, we'll take care of arriving guests, reservations are marked with names. Nice detail. Conversations are possible in a relaxed manner. Antipasti is a recommendation from us and the daily menu is always worth a look. Dear Auszeit team, keep it up, we'll be back!

A wonderful place to take a break, service is extremely friendly, selection of dishes is also very pleasant. It was especially nice for me as a vegetarian because there was always at least one meatless dish per category. There was also a choice of vegan dishes. They also use a lot of organic ingredients, which is of course a plus point. But what I found particularly nice was the freshness. So much is freshly homemade there and the food combos are amazing. This excuses the time it takes to get your food. Recommended as a date, as a group of friends or simply to relax.

We always enjoy the food there and the service is really nice and lovely.

The service was friendly and attentive. The food and drinks came quickly, despite being busy. We ordered pasta Bolognese and Mediterranean. Personally, I would have liked the presentation to be a little better and more loving. The tagliatelle was drowned in the sauce. The noodles themselves were cooked quite softly and some of them were already sticking to each other. The sauce itself was quite bland. Salt and pepper saved it a bit, but for almost €17 I really would have liked better quality. What we would have actually liked from the service would have been a subtle, friendly note to the guests inside, whose children outside were running around the tables at a sometimes deafening level for an hour and then started throwing small stones out of the flower pots. Children are supposed to move and play and are allowed to be loud sometimes, but ultimately it is a restaurant, not a children's playground. The constant sound was quite unpleasant because sometimes you didn't understand your own words and on top of that a little boy stood behind my friend grinning and threw a stone in her direction. That's a bit too much of a good thing. I know it's sometimes difficult these days to remind parents of their parenting responsibilities, but perhaps a small coloring book + some pencils would have been a charming offering. There are some restaurants that offer this for children and it doesn't cost the earth. Of course, we realize that the service has other concerns when it's busy and it's ultimately not their job to keep guests' children under control, but perhaps the coloring book would be a constructive and customer-friendly suggestion that doesn't take up a lot of time and would make everyone feel a little more comfortable. After the guests and children had left, you could sit there comfortably and chat. I actually wouldn't come back to eat. To sit comfortably, chat and have a drink, but maybe.
