Absolutely. One star deducted only because it was incredibly hot and we were sweating profusely. I have no idea if one of the air conditioning units was broken?! Otherwise, everything was absolutely fantastic!

Gone here twice, tried the auszeit burger and the prawn pasta. For someone like me who likes spicy food, this isn’t a place for me. But I reckon other people would love the well curated dishes here.

A nice shop in itself. But they seem to select their staff based on their location, so they don't have any overview of the place at all. I've been a regular customer for over five years now, and it's always the same. The waiters just don't come. Even after you make yourself known, you get a smile, but nothing much else happens. Some readers might be wondering why I keep coming back. I live next door, and it's the only shop in the area.

I really like the atmosphere. The food (breakfast) was OK. My bowl was a bit long and uninspiring for the price, but I can recommend the lunch menu.

We went to Auszeit with friends again after the movies. It's a really cool place with a changing, imaginative menu and attentive, very friendly service. And the prices are also reasonable compared to the skyrocketing prices we're currently experiencing in restaurants. We feel at home there and would love to come back!

It was time again for a visit during the break. Whether coffee, breakfast until 2 p.m. or a full meal 🍽️ everyone will find something here. We recognized some of the staff, the working atmosphere seemed to be right and everyone was nice, attentive and provided calm service. The food is not boring, advice is also available if desired and the prices are reasonable. If you want, you can take a look at the sparkling kitchen. Nothing remains hidden here. Please don't just run in and sit down, we'll take care of arriving guests, reservations are marked with names. Nice detail. Conversations are possible in a relaxed manner. Antipasti is a recommendation from us and the daily menu is always worth a look. Dear Auszeit team, keep it up, we'll be back!

A wonderful place to take a break, service is extremely friendly, selection of dishes is also very pleasant. It was especially nice for me as a vegetarian because there was always at least one meatless dish per category. There was also a choice of vegan dishes. They also use a lot of organic ingredients, which is of course a plus point. But what I found particularly nice was the freshness. So much is freshly homemade there and the food combos are amazing. This excuses the time it takes to get your food. Recommended as a date, as a group of friends or simply to relax.

The service was friendly and attentive. The food and drinks came quickly, despite being busy. We ordered pasta Bolognese and Mediterranean. Personally, I would have liked the presentation to be a little better and more loving. The tagliatelle was drowned in the sauce. The noodles themselves were cooked quite softly and some of them were already sticking to each other. The sauce itself was quite bland. Salt and pepper saved it a bit, but for almost €17 I really would have liked better quality. What we would have actually liked from the service would have been a subtle, friendly note to the guests inside, whose children outside were running around the tables at a sometimes deafening level for an hour and then started throwing small stones out of the flower pots. Children are supposed to move and play and are allowed to be loud sometimes, but ultimately it is a restaurant, not a children's playground. The constant sound was quite unpleasant because sometimes you didn't understand your own words and on top of that a little boy stood behind my friend grinning and threw a stone in her direction. That's a bit too much of a good thing. I know it's sometimes difficult these days to remind parents of their parenting responsibilities, but perhaps a small coloring book + some pencils would have been a charming offering. There are some restaurants that offer this for children and it doesn't cost the earth. Of course, we realize that the service has other concerns when it's busy and it's ultimately not their job to keep guests' children under control, but perhaps the coloring book would be a constructive and customer-friendly suggestion that doesn't take up a lot of time and would make everyone feel a little more comfortable. After the guests and children had left, you could sit there comfortably and chat. I actually wouldn't come back to eat. To sit comfortably, chat and have a drink, but maybe.

It's always pleasant here. You sit in a good atmosphere. The staff is friendly and hardworking. The breakfast is recommended, there are several variations, there is something for every taste.

Highly recommended! Great ambience and great selection of food and drinks - it's hard to decide ;) Luckily we had reserved a table - that's also my advice, as it was very busy... Since you can not only eat delicious food, but also sit very comfortably, you can easily spend an hour or two there! We had a really delicious breakfast - not only super tasty, but also really beautifully prepared. The service was friendly & very well organized. We didn't wait long for anything, even though everything was freshly prepared - great!!! I noticed positively that the service employees authentically say sentences like: "Very happy", because that is no longer a matter of course. We would love to come back and would be happy to have an ashtray outside :)

It's really a shame. I love Café Auszeit. A delicious breakfast is worth it. Every now and then I treat myself to a break in “time out”. It has now happened to me for the second time that I was rejected. Not because there was no room for one person. No, because the service doesn't make it. She is alone! Service is different. I would have taken the time and accepted a longer wait. Really a shame. I think I'll have to look for another place to take my break in the future. The kitchen is still recommended.

Great restaurant in Berlin Niederschönhausen. We always enjoy coming back. We've also been there in larger groups. Mixed menu with changing daily menu. The highlights for us are always the salads and the beetroot risotto. You can bring dogs in, the service is nice and professional. Everything fits!

We were able to make a reservation at short notice today, it was quick and uncomplicated... the food was delicious and it was served quite quickly... the only thing I have to complain about was the interaction between the waiters, since we were sitting close to the counter, you already noticed the teasing, which you can perhaps attribute to stress, and differences of opinion can also happen, but then you should clarify that if the customers don't notice. WE WOULD STILL COME AGAIN.

Bei unserem letzten Besuch im Dezember 2024 konnten wir nicht bargeldlos zahlen. Weder die ING- noch eine Comdirect-Karte wurde akzeptiert. Zum Glück hatten wir ausreichend Bargeld dabei. Das Personal rafft nix und vermutet die Farbe der Karte als Ursache. Das Essen war in Ordnung.

You can really take a nice break there. I come here regularly for breakfast and it's great every time. It's not a fancy breakfast but the classics with an extra menu. There is something for every taste. I always enjoy coming back!

I ordered a pasta with shrimps and a strawberry mint lemonade. The food was good, I felt like the portions were a bit small, or maybe I was too hungry. The customer service is quite good. I would recommend this place and try the Auszeit Burger next time.

Super-friendly service in combination with a kitchen that creates small works of art that also taste good... and the whole thing is even gluten-free for those suffering from celiac disease upon request! Great. The wide-open windows help you get over the fact that you have to be a little lucky to get a place on the terrace... that's just how it is: where you receive a friendly welcome and can eat delicious food, you are rarely alone. 😁
