One of our favorite restaurants in Berlin. Very happy to have been there again before the operators' "world tour". Highly recommended are the octopus lardo skewers and the chicken risotto

The snobbiest restaurant I’ve been to in a long while. A place desperately trying to be something, anything. Rushed service, ordinary food, expensive. Save yourself the trouble - go to Lidl and buy yourself some salmon, lettuce and a bottle of wine and cook a lovely dinner for yourself and loved ones

One of the single best dinners I have ever eaten, utterly blown away. The service was out of this world, kind, caring and friendly, and not over the top. The cooking was simple, carefully and perfect. Thank you for an astonishing evening.

This restaurant is perfect. I could honestly leave it there, but… The staff are accommodating, knowledgeable, and warm - like dining with friends. The food is creative, delicious, and beautiful - fresh and flavorful. The atmosphere is relaxed, familiar, and convivial - a place you feel like you’ve been many times before and wish to return to many times more. If I could give more than five stars, I would.

It used to be our special place to visit once a year for an occasion and we loved it. I guess not anymore 😅 While the atmosphere was lovely and so was the team, the dinner lasted for over 4 hours. This was not something we were warned about or ready for. At the end, the lady announced that there are 3 desserts ahead and we (and our neighboring table) just burst laughing. We started at 7pm and it was well over 10pm at that point. A nice dining experience turned into a food torture and with the amount we paid I cannot think of anything to justify this experience. Also, be very careful with additional items in the menu and vine by glass as they do not mention prices anywhere.

Dreadful experience. The maître d' attempted to force white wine on my partner, when he tried order a glass of red, refusing his request. An hour later, she proceeded to get drunk, blast bad New Jack music and twirl around the dining area, while we all we all waited almost an hour for the final course after six lackluster courses. We left before it came (2 hours in). The courses were like something you'd whip up in the kitchen with leftovers when you were due for a trip to market. Wasn't worth a quarter of the price charged.

Cena indimenticabile. Menù prezioso e raffinato. Ogni dettaglio è curato nei particolari. C'è passione e si sente e si vede. Qui non è più cucina, è arte. Esperienza da non perdere, davvero. Il prezzo è adeguatissimo.

Ho invitato degli amici a cena per il compleanno, prima volta in Berlino. Cena straordinaria in un locale intimo, con personale gentilissimo . Portate molto curate con prodotti di altissima qualità, ottimo l'abbinamento con i vini . Indimenticabile !!!! Prezzo assolutamente adeguato alla qualità dei piatti e del servizio.

We were super exited about visiting Mrs Robinsons after hearing the great reviews and walking past the restaurant so often. Overall we had a good experience which was kind of ruined by 2 things We were sat on a corner table just below one of the speakers. The shape of the room made it so this area was a bass trap. The music was so loud that we couldn’t hear each other talk. We told the waitress who turned it down, but the music was tuned up again on the next track We booked the meal at one price (€99 per head). We received an a mail a day before the reservation confirming the price. When we came to pay, we found the prices had increased by €10 per head because of inflation. Ok fine, but we agreed one price but ended up paying another The food and service was good but these two things mean we won’t be coming back unfortunately

Would not recommend. Very loud, not the best service, food was interesting but does not justify the price tag. I would recommend to spent 110-150€ somewhere else... There are many good places for less. Didn't even took photos so disappointing was it.

Over priced and pretentious. Whilst the food was nice the cost was staggering (over 450 euros for 2!). For this price I would expect exceptional service and incredible food but we left feeling very disappointed. I asked for wine by the glass instead of the wine pairing which the waiter did not like! Out of a lengthy wine list he could not offer me a Sauvignon blanc despite several being listed on the menu. The food was nice, but did not justify the price. We left feeling totally ripped off. I have had far more enjoyable dining experiences elsewhere for less than a quarter of the price.

You should go to Berlin just to go to this restaurant. Great food ethos, great service from knowledgable staff.

We wanted to have a special evening for valentines as it’s also my partners birthday, and booked their set menu for 160 euros each. Why not treat ourselves to a special evening. Food was ok, there were 11 small dishes, nothing spectacular. The waitress said we can add hybrid caviar to 3 dishes so we did. So far everything was fine, service seemed nice. Until we were hit with the final bill which came up to 740 euros!! We were shocked and unfortunately this ruined the entire experience for us. We didn’t even drink alcohol so how we end up spending 400 euros more in a space of 2 hours?? Apparently the “hybrid” caviar was 110 euros each. And 30 euros for one leg of octopus. They should’ve been more transparent with the pricing but obviously didn’t tell us beforehand knowing it’s ridiculous. 740 euros is more than what we paid at Horváth with wine, which is a Michelin star restaurant Just not happy, would not return, and definitely not recommend. They should have been more transparent with their menu and price.

Vorsicht Abzocke! Schöne verarsche in dem laden. Ob wir scewer und kaviar dazu buchen möchten zum menü wurden wir gefragt.ohne preis nennung (kenne ich übrigens aus anderen läden anders). Alle weiteren angebote wurde nicht als zubuchung deklariert, es wirkte so also ob es zum menü gehört.Leute, kommuniziert es, wieviel kosten auf einem zukommen, wenn man das und jenes dazu nimmt. Ich möchte nicht in was reingetrickst werden. Und weil aus 260 euro oder so mit tip 630 wurden, hier 1 stern. Für das geld verbessert bitte die performance beim vorstellen der produkte: laut und deutlich sprechen wär ein anfang, bisschen more entertaining dann der fortschritt. Das essen war lecker, aber keinesfalls diesen preis wert. Und der abend hinterlässt kein glücksgefühl. Ich werde jedem abraten. Schäbig, schämt euch!

Food was very special and the wines really well selected. We went for the special tasting menu and upgraded to the octopus skewer. Was delicious and the service was lovely 🙏🏽 We’ll be def back!

After a great meal, both my friend and I had food poisoning. I understand it can happen - dealing with fresh uncooked fish and oysters etc - but I really have been disappointed to not even receive an apology after sending 2 emails. My friend and I were sick for multiple days, couldn’t move for 2.

Simply 6 out of 5! ⭐️ Unbelievable culinary experience. This gem was a rare and unexpected find in on Berlin’s restaurant map. Tasting menu was prepared with a great thought and aimed to please both at the same time: most sophisticated and casual tastebuds there is. Each of 12 dishes was made beautifully and exploded in flavors. Some of the combinations of spices, tanginess, salt were to die for. I have never experienced a culinary experiment like this before. Nice selection of wines, some of them very distinctive. The ambience in the restaurant is amazing, music played from vinyls, not many seats therefore staff can give every guest their full attention. If you are looking for an upscale dining experience Mrs Robinson’s is definitely a place to try out.

The food was nice. Some things were truly flavoursome and some were ok but forgettable. The service was great (which is surprising as the restaurant is owned by the same person who owns Cafe Frieda, whose service is TERRIBLE) and the staff super friendly. The vibe is really cool. However, the prices are insane. I paid 175€ for the set menu, the extra octopus and 2 glasses of wine. I have paid less in restaurants with michelin stars, so even though the food was good, I don’t think the price is justified. Also, the price isn’t mentioned on the website nor the menu and you only find out when you get the bill. Furthermore, we were sitting at the bar, which had bar stools with not back support whatsoever (and we all know anyone over 30 needs back support 😂).

Really excellent food and service, I love the commitment to sourcing ingredients sustainably. All the fish was good, but the grilled items particularly so. The savoury dishes were stronger than the desserts, but overall for the quality and the ingredients I think it’s a fair price for the whole menu.

Everything is absolutely amazing, from the quality of the products (vegetables, fish, meat), the wine selection and wine pairing, originality of recipes you'll not find anywhere else, and warm and friendly service!

What a wonderful dinner and wine pairing at this cosy restaurant! We stumbled it and were lucky to get a table on a Sunday night. The team were even able to accommodate our request for a vegetarian menu instead of the standard. Every dish was very well executed, though the shredded mushrooms in broth was our favourite with its layers of flavours. the wine pairings were also exceptional. Not cheap (€99 + €75 for 5 paired wines / per head) but worth it. The best dining experience we've had without Michelin stars

Es handelt sich sozusagen um den Hipsterbart der Gastronomie, den Männerdutt der Küche. Hier geht es nicht um gutes Essen oder guten Service (weswegen auch niemand diesen Job gelernt hat), sondern ums anders sein. Wer die Sprache des Lokals nicht spricht (irgendein Dialekt des englischen, mglw Südaustralien oder Sachsen), hat halt Pech. Der Touri fühlt sich hier wichtig, wer Wert auf gute Gastronomie im klassischen Sinn legt sucht sich viell lieber etwas anderes.

Fantastic restaurant with incredible service. Set Menu is daily changing with a number of small courses with a few adjustments (like their Infamous Octopus and Beef skewer which was incredible) and wine pairing (which is a must as you will definitely experience wine you would never have ordered or had before) It's all amazing! Not the cheapest meal you can have in Berlin BUT you are getting Michelin level food and service here. It surely can't be long before they get on the Michelin radar (if they want it) and get that 1st star! I have been to many Michelin restaurants in Europe and this one is in or above that 1*\2* level for sure. Highly highly recommended. My new favourite restaurant in Berlin.

Wonderful execution and beautifully plated. Mrs Robinsons did not disappoint. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at the cosy setting of this restaurant. The staff were so warm and accomodating.

Mixed feelings about this place. It unfortunately didn’t meet my expectations. Some dishes were extraordinary and some not so much.

I just stumbled over my bill from last year and could not hold back my anger. The food was very tasty but the service was not to be surpassed in arrogance. While the waiter explains to us that they are currently too few people, the boss sits with a group of friends in the corner and claims the waiters practically for themselves. Absolutely unprofesionel and embarrassing and at these prices absolutely not ok. the 2 stars only because the food is really good

The tasting menu was very nice. Interesting flavours, attention to detail, and I cannot fault the execution at all. The staff is friendly too. It isn’t a bargain for Berlin standards but also not exorbitant for what you are getting. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place

Finally made it to Mrs Robinson's and ohh my god it didn't disappoint. The restaurant is small and cosy, the staff are superb, attentive and just the right amount of chatty. And the food is simply stunning. We've had the tasting menu and wine pairing and it was heavenly.

In a fabulous tale of modern romance, Samina Raza and Ben Zviel met in Berghain, fell in love, and went on to open Mrs Robinson’s, one of the city’s most daring and creative kitchens. Working with a broad palate of flavours from Israel, where chef Ben comes from, as well as from Asia and the greater Brandenburg region, this relatively new restaurant in northern Prenzlauer Berg is bound to make a splash on the Berlin food scene. The cocktails are gorgeous, too.

Posto davvero molto interessante, una cucina piena di inventiva, ricerca, saperi dal mondo davvero davvero di ottimo livello. Il tutto dentro un luogo informale quanto basta per essere leggero, molto berlinese, molto curato e piacevole. Un ottimo servizio e una carta vini intelligente ne fanno un posto dove tornare spesso.

This is the type of restaurant I like. Small setting, only pure ingredients, and a friendly, relaxed but very customer-focussed service. It is pricy but the quality of the dishes combined with excellent service makes it more than value for money.

Chic, open kitchen setting offering elevated European cuisine with asian twists. Simple, fresh local ingredients, rich flavors and elegant plating. On the pricier end but worth the taste and ambiance.

We visited Mrs Robinson and had a wonderful experience. They manage to present an idea, a common thread that holds straight through. The staff is personal and offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The commitment and joy so present. The flavors are low-key, beautiful and elegant. Yes, this is a success!!

Wie hatten eine perfekte Weinempfehlung aus Serbien die überraschenderweise zum kompletten Menü gepasst hat. Allein für den Oktopus/Wagyu Fett Spieß und den zwei Wochen gereiften und auf der Haut gegrillten Wolfsbarsch lohnt es sich Mrs Robinsons zumindest einmal einen Besuch abzustatten!

I have had worse meals at two star Michelin restaurants. Mrs Robinsons is the benchmark of flavour in Berlin.

Was waiting for our bread and butter for 50 minutes - it was the first meal. Stuff didn't bring any drink in meantime. The meals not worth it. I don't recommend.

Way overpriced for Berlin, and the food was hit and miss. Service was alright - they were trying, but the main complaint was the 30+ minute wait between appetizers and main course (and seeing other tables who arrived later get their entrees first).

We had a very special evening here on Saturday night. The setting was perfect. The tasting menu was inventive and showcased fresh and high-quality produce - the octopus and beef fat skewer was a highlight! The service was also flawless. The staff were extremely warm and knowledgeable about the food and wine which really added to our evening. Truly one of the best dining experiences I've had in Berlin.

Great food. But it’s all about the service. Kars, who makes his own drinks accommodated my pregnant girlfriend with his homemade alcohol-free drinks. True legend. Ottavio and Samina were likewise as cool, just a beautiful evening, guided by the best front of house team - bellisimo - danke!

Deserves more than 5 stars. This restaurant is a perfect little gem. Best tasting menu I have tried. Food is so creative and tasteful. Staff is energetic, kind and observant giving you the best possible and personal experience. Also a great selection of wine. Definitely coming back soon. Don't forget to visit their other location Café Frieda for breakfast.

Leider muss ich meine Bewertung von vor 2 Jahren von fünf auf zwei Sterne kürzen. Menü meist ohne Geschmack oder nicht schmeckend (was sollte dieser Curd mit Erbsen?). Hier versucht wohl jemand zu sehr auf Biegen und Brechen was ganz besonderes zu kreieren, dabei entwickelt sich große (Koch-)Kunst doch am besten ohne Druck Der Service vergisst einen auch schon mal und begründet das dann mit einer Pause vorm Dessert. Pause schön und gut, aber eine halbe Ewigkeit ohne Beachtung (außer, um noch mal Wein upzusellen, obwohl die Gläser noch klar voll sind) ist keine Pause. Das beste war das Brot von Frieda, aber das kann man auch günstiger haben. Schade, denn an sich mag ich Laden und Location sehr.

I’m writing this review at time of ‘ pandemic’. Mrs. Robinson’s is a okish venue at close distance to Berlin central area. The food is good, with interesting combinations of flavours, however the experience was dreadful. It started with 45’ delay between reservation and time we were allowed to start the meal - double booking - continued with the wrong order sequence of the dishes being served and finished with a double charge of a wine bottle - would serve as a good 75€ tip.

Mrs. Robinson's cuisine is creative and innovative; They always surprise you with new and subtle combinations of flavours. The team is fantastic; you will receive excellent service. I highly recommend this place!

Puh. Verstehe den Hype nicht. Der gegrillte Kalbsbauch ist mega intensiv und die Konsistenz eine Herausforderung – während das noch Absicht oder gewollt sein kann versteh ich nicht warum man dazu nur ähnlich matschige Beilagen ohne Kontrast serviert. Der Cesar Salat für 11€ zu klein und beim Essen bereits aufgeweicht vom Dressing. Wartezeit lang, wurde aber fairerweise vorgewarnt.

Too overrated! I got the spare ribs in (Korean gochujang?) hot sauce, the meat was perfect and tender, but the portion size was just miniature to any other spare ribs anywhere. The fried leak on the side is just a bad idea and doesn't add any distinctive character to the design of the food nor to the taste. The Egg+Chives as well looks nice in the photos, but he long chives in the middle of the sandwich take you as a surprise. Again, great idea to create excitements in Instagram, but definitely nothing to ry again especially for the overrated price. The Caramel Canelé was overly burned, and all I can say is a nice try to create a burned caramel aftertaste, nothing authentic. Overall, happy that we checked it off after seeing loads of Instagram advertisements, but not an offer that would worth trying again. :)

Really yummy food, I might have slightly preferred the covid pop up to my last sit down meal here. Touch on the pricey side for this very posh “street food”, but I will be dreaming of that drunken Yuzu cake!! It has by far made my top 10 meals of 2020!

Extremely overpriced and terrible service. Staff was unfriendly and very slow service. Food is below average with small portions. Because of the corona, it is needed to screen QR code to fill the customer information but the menu is given by a piece of paper? At the end waitress asked if we are planning to leave a tip. Never heard such a thing in any restaurant. Very disrespectful. Overall very disappointing experience... not recommended...

We went there for an Israeli food (28th Aug 2020). The food quality didn't fit at all the price we have paid. The food wasn't special at all, and the prices were 3 times more than other places in the city.

One of my favourite Restaurant in Berlin. Food and wine always a pleasure. Looking forward to come back. Great service.

Overrated. The portions are tiny and the taste is not exceptional. The Kebeh for instance was salty and full of oil. A very modest selection of wine (by the glass). The staff are very friendly!

Ich war zum zweiten Mal hier. Wunderbares Essen und sehr nette Bedienung. Wer auf der Suche nach aromatischen Erlebnissen und überraschenden Kombinationen ist, der wird nicht enttäuscht. Ein Restaurant, das für Klasse statt Masse steht. War auf jeden Fall nicht der letzte Besuch...

Aufgrund von vielen Empfehlungen, habe ich dort eine spontane Besuch gemacht. Und ich war sehr überrascht. Extrem lecker, sehr kreative, viele unterschiedliche Gerichte, multikulturell und alles sehr fein. Laden sieht bescheiden aus, würde man nicht denken, aber es schmeckt wie in Sternen Restaurant. Die Bedienung war auch sehr aufmerksam zu mir und freuten sich auf jeder meine Reaktion. :) Fazit: Die haben mich als Dauerkunde gewonnen. <3

Hervorragendes Essen. Service ... einfach mühsam, langsam und anstrengend. Man konnte kaum abschalten und sich auf den Abend konzentrieren. Sehr schade, da dadurch eine großes Delta zwischen der Qualität des Essens und des „Gesamteindrucks“ entsteht. Bei dem preislichen Niveau darf das schlicht nicht sein und ist wirklich schade um die gute Küche. Große Weinkarte, die wohl nur Experten des Bio-Weinanbaus wirklich etwas sagt, aber bei 50 Weinen nur 3 oder 4 offen, erscheint fragwürdig. Das Bier war nach einer Flasche ausverkauft - kann passieren, passt aber leider ins Bild. Schade.

Es war ein schöner Abend, der Service war sehr gut und das Essen hervorragend. Man sollte wissen, das die Portionen klein sind. Das steht auch auf der Karte. Etwa größer als Tapas. Das gibt die Möglichkeit mehr zu probieren. Die Weinkarte ist umfangreich, die Auswahl an offenen Weinen jedoch klein, sodass hier leider nicht soviel probiert werden kann

Average hipster restaurant with lack of food expertise. It boasts two starts on the Genuss guide 2020, but that is largely overrated. I've been here three times and had a few great dishes, like the brussels sprouts with miso sauce. Unfortunately, I've also been served several mediocre/awkward dishes, and they were nevertheless priced quite high. They have a tendency to serve carbonized food, and claim to do it deliberately. The experience is overall far from optimal, if you take into consideration portions, waiting times, and staff trying hard to convince the PrenzBerg-ish audience that they are so cool because they serve organic food.

Let’s start of with this place is amazing! Had dinner here this Saturday night, we arrived super early as there’s no booking due to COVID 19 restrictions, so got ahead of the crowd. Service was exceptional, very friendly and warm staff, super knowledgeable about the dishes and the very interesting wine list. The VIBE was also great! We had delicious dish after delicious dish, each having complex layering of flavours, but with simple and beautiful plating. The plates are small sharing plates, that are flavour packed and toe curling good. Three of us shared 9 plates and came away satisfied, full and happy. Go online check the menu that they publish and see what delights you’re in for. Another cool thing, is you can see on the menu who’s supplied the meat/veggies and other products that you are eating in each dish, small local farms, artisans etc. To sum up, cooking of the highest caliber, interesting insightful flavour combinations, a must visit in Berlin. Thank you for having us!

Overpriced restaurant. Arriving at 8pm leaving at 11pm 2 ppl 5 plates. Waiting way too long for tiny portions. Plates are coming one by one which could be OK but not if you wait 1h in between each plate. Overall good but not incredible regarding with the price. Meals are quite fatty all about meat, deep fry or butter.... No veggy option except a plate of raw veggies. We mention politely " the waiting" when we were ask for it. Answer from the waitress : "here this is the way it is". We stayed polite not to make a scene but honestly don't do this job if you can't take client's feedback.

Bestellt wurde das Steak Sandwich. To go, ich hatte noch was vor, die "15 Minuten Wartezeit" konnte ich verkraften. Hab viel Gutes über die Sandwiches während Corona gehört und hatte Mordshunger. Dass das ganze 20€ kostet und die Größe eines stinknormalen Toasts hatte - geschenkt, gehört wahrscheinlich zum chic dazu und war immerhin geschmacklich top. (Leider war aber ein Drittel des Sandwiches schon in der sehr intensiven BBQ Sauce getränkt, nicht so geil.) Dass dann aus den ursprünglichen "15 Minuten" eine Stunde wurde, der Kellner mehrere Nachfragen mit "jeden Augenblick fertig" beantwortet hat, eine Dreiviertelstunde brauchte, um sich erstmals halbherzig entschuldigte und ein Bier auf's Haus anbot, das ist schwach. Das führt dann zu einem Stern. Anspruch und Realität bei einem Konzept, welches auf High Quality setzt und es so abrechnet, liegen weit auseinander.

Wir wurden enttäuscht. Die Sitzgelegenheiten sind sehr unbequem. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hat leider nicht gepasst. Der Cheesepie ist sehr weiterzuempfehlen!

Service was very good, the quality of the food as well. HOWEVER, price are outrageously high for what you get, especially in Berlin... The average price of a plate is 10 and they recommend to get 3 to 4 per person. And that won't fill up someone with a big appetite for sure. Overall, the experience was good but I regretted paying this much.
