Yesterday we ate at Incontri again for 1.5 years. I have known the store since it opened more than 20 years ago. In 2023, new operators took over the Incontri. And things have been going downhill since then: - The menu is now wrapped in "plastic" and appears careless - The service was very bad: the table we had booked was suddenly no longer available. We asked several times which pizzas we ordered, and still the wrong one came. - The bread served at the beginning was dry. I didn't dare use the balsamic bottle with a white shirt because of the risk of splashing - The pizzas were okay, but in contrast to before they were only topped with dry herbs instead of fresh and way too much oregano for the taste. All around: The quality has deteriorated extremely. It's a shame, but it's no longer an option for us!

After waiting 75 (!) minutes, the food came with side dishes that we hadn't ordered and in a ridiculous quantity. The waiters became rude and we left the restaurant hungry.

We were about 20 people with a pre-order, but had to say goodbye early. Paying in advance worked well, the service was very friendly and accommodating. Our advance meal for three people came quickly and payment was easy at the checkout. The food was delicious and in my opinion freshly made pappardelle with very tender lamb, the neighbor on the right had a homemade pizza Al Arrabiata well topped with salami and tomatoes and pizza mozarella on the left. Fresh mozzarella on top as a garnish. A bit big for pensioners. The toilets are of course clean. The restaurant also has an adjoining room for family celebrations. The food offerings are slightly upscale, but absolutely reasonable in terms of price/performance ratio. The restaurant is now marked as an Italian restaurant for my next visit. As a guest you can watch the pizza being prepared, the outside area is a bit noisy due to the traffic, but the U9 Leopoldplatz is not far away.

Pizza sie üblich groß aber sehr wenig belegt ! Aber eine extrem unfreundliche Kellnerin , donnerte uns die Speisen , Getränke und Besteck auf den Tisch hin ! Kein Lachen oder Lächeln , kein freundliches Wort !

Beware of rip-offs! I ordered a sparkling water bottle and got sparkling water from the tap. And for 7 euros a bottle.

You can eat well here for a reasonable price. The pizza I ordered, the "La Taverna" was delicious, only the base of the pizza was a bit soft, but that did not detract from the taste because it was delicious!
