L'Osteria Passau in Passau

It wasn't a problem getting a table where you could charge your phone. The pizzas are large enough to feed even a hungry person. (To make sure I can finish the pizza, I usually leave out the cheese.) There's also a vegan pizza with vegan "cheese."

Good food. Pleasant waiters. Nice atmosphere. Would definitely recommend!

Today we were at L'Osteria, and I have to say, considering it was so quiet, our waiter was completely disinterested. We would have liked more, but unfortunately, his attention wasn't on the customers. I completely understand that everything takes longer when the place is full, but with less than 10 tables occupied, it's questionable. It's a shame, because otherwise it's always great.

As always, good. Wiesbaden, Saarbrücken, Friedrichsdorf, Passau – always reliably delicious and friendly.

We went for dinner. The food itself is flawless, like any other location in the franchise. It's not 5 stars, but the quality of the food deserves 4. The problem? As always at this location, it's the staff and customer service. The owners are going to have to take action, because they can't get any better. Whether it's through more employee training or simply hiring more friendly people.

The pizza dough was very dry, but the topping was very greasy, but still okay. For a party of 50+, we found the music volume too loud, especially with the other guests. Drink service was very reserved; there were four of us and we would have liked another round. After 45 minutes, we finally came back to our table. Still, highly recommended.

The location is truly fantastic, and we used to love L'Osteria and go there often. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has declined significantly recently – our last few visits haven't impressed us at all. It used to be great, and we really hope the quality will improve again soon so we'll be happy to come back.

Unfortunately, I have to say that what's going on in there is absolutely outrageous. Point 1. It started with ordering drinks, and it took almost 30 minutes before anyone asked what we wanted. Point 2. Ordering food after over an hour. I was already fed up, but then, to top it all off, after 5 pizzas, 2 of them made wrong, they were rude. When asked if they would deduct the price, they couldn't! Absolutely outrageous For €3 extra for Gorgonzola, and then there's about 2g on the whole pizza. Almost no toppings on all 5 pizzas. Beer, wheat beer, and the like waited at the counter for ages. When we asked if we could finally get them, they gave them to us. Every drink is stirred with a straw until it foams. That's perverse. These lousy waiters could just blow into it until it foams. It started with the order. The service couldn't speak a word of German. The food was large, at least the pizzas, but the taste was terrible. There was very little topping, and the service was absolutely terrible. The music was way too loud. Drinks were stirred with a straw, and it was way too expensive. I'd be interested to know how long it would take when the place is really full, when everyone is already completely overwhelmed with a half-full place. The price might have been justified if there were toppings, but for 5 slices of salami, 2g of Gorgonzola, and 5 olives, €18 is Really exaggerated. We've never been treated so badly in a restaurant as we were in this juice shop. I really don't understand how most people here can say the food is so delicious. Either all their taste buds are gone, or they're eating for the first time. I've probably been to Italy 30 times, but this has nothing to do with Italy. This shop is simply an absolute disgrace. They'll never see me in there again.

I went there today with my mom. The service was excellent and really humorous, and the food (bruschetta and pizza) was incredibly good! The pizzas are huge, at least half a meter long. The price is really reasonable. Even though it's so busy, you get your food very quickly. You can see that everything is handmade. It's a beautiful restaurant, with really nice furnishings. We'd love to come back!

From one to two stars just for the friendly lady behind the bar who checked my order. “Just two minutes” she said after already long waiting. Came back after a good experience with my wife and three kids, because of a good review about the carbonara. Mine was left on the counter for more than 5 minutes and arrived lukewarm. Since it was carbonara it also dried out, I make it better myself. Writing this review during waiting for service to pay, it is busy but it feels like being ignored. After the positive experience earlier I would not recommend it fully. During busy times you should not be in a hurry. Groups seem to get more attention.

Unfortunately, L'Osteria isn't what it used to be. My tiramisu was soggy and unappetizing on the bottom, as if it had been soaked too heavily. The pizza arrived cold and had burnt bits on top, probably from an oven that doesn't get cleaned. The food here used to be really delicious, but now it's just disappointing.

Ich war in der L’Osteria Passau und war rundum zufrieden mit meinem Besuch. Die Atmosphäre war lebendig und gleichzeitig gemütlich – perfekt für einen entspannten Abend mit gutem Essen. Ich habe die Pizza Funghi Freschi bestellt, die mit frischen Champignons belegt war. Der Teig war wie gewohnt typisch L’Osteria: dünn, knusprig und riesengroß – ideal zum Teilen (oder ganz für sich alleine, wenn man großen Hunger hat!). Die Zutaten schmeckten frisch, und der Belag war gut abgestimmt – klassisch, aber hochwertig. Dazu gab es den Insalata Campagnola: Ein bunter Baby-Leaf-Salat mit Roter Bete, gebratenem Ziegenkäse, Apfelstücken, Walnüssen und Honig – ein perfektes Zusammenspiel von süß und herzhaft. Das Haus-Dressing hat alles harmonisch abgerundet. Das Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam, und trotz gut besuchtem Lokal kamen Essen und Getränke zügig. Insgesamt ein gelungener Besuch – ich komme gerne wieder!

If that's okay with you, I'm happy if you don't make it. See that there is an Italian place, keep writing in Italian. But in this place, a manager? A manager should always be present. Our absolute favorite pizzeria! The food is consistently excellent – ​​fresh, delicious, and with a wide selection. A particularly positive aspect: The team is flexible when it comes to special requests or changes to orders, which is unfortunately not a given these days. One small drawback is the restrooms – unfortunately, soap or paper towels are often lacking, and cleanliness could occasionally be improved. The background music is also sometimes a bit too loud for a relaxed atmosphere. A nice bonus: If you announce it's your birthday, you'll be surprised with birthday music and a tiramisu with a fountain (we weren't sure if there's an extra charge for this – but it was definitely a nice highlight!). We always enjoy coming back. You can also save money with the L'Osteria app – another plus. Please keep up the good work – we're already looking forward to the next time!

We were in Passau, we wanted to spend a beautiful weekend with the family but the tavern ruined everything for us. Because the manager was very arrogant and grumpy because we ordered tortellini with cream and ham and the tortellini filled with spinach and ricotta with cream and ham arrived, we asked for Which were wrong but the rude and arrogant manager said these if you want you can eat them otherwise go away a truly horrible and rude person.
