Delicious food, super friendly service, highly recommended.

We were a little disappointed. There were two of us and we didn't get our food at the same time. There was a few minutes delay. Not understandable with only two people at a table. The taste was okay. The service was so-so. The first drinks came quickly, then we didn't ask anymore. We had to wait about 20 minutes for the bill and the promised limoncello didn't come either. We wouldn't go there again.

Fast service, a nice host (and staff that likes to move on), a few minor flaws but the price is very good and the food just as well, highly recommended

The pizza was very tasty. It did take a while before I got my pizza, the rest of my table had almost finished their food by the time I got my pizza.

The staff was super friendly, but I think our unreserved group of 14 people caused more hectic activity than they expected. The host did his best to ensure that we all had a place, but you could see that the staff was working hard to keep everything and everyone happy. Sometimes that worked, unfortunately not always. They made up for it with a round of limoncello. Even though it didn't all go 100% smoothly, I will definitely come back again with the confidence that things will get better!

We had dinner with six people. All dishes were fresh and delicious. The service was very friendly and accommodating. I can highly recommend it

Incredibly bad service. The store wasn't overly busy, but we were ignored for a long time. The food arrived after well over an hour and was OK (although a bit salty), although I would have expected a little more for the price. The glasses were sometimes chipped at the edge - not great for drinking. Unfortunately it is very loud here and conversations were therefore rather difficult. I won't come back, it's a shame.

We were a group of 15 adults, registered for dinner. Everyone was there at 7 p.m. and the complete order was placed a few minutes later. recorded. After that, there was no service for another 30 minutes. The restaurant was very busy, guests came, were served and left. After urgent demand (“what, 30 minutes?”) the drinks arrived. Similarly tough with requests for over 70 minutes of food. Sometimes wrong, e.g. T. overly salty, some dishes tasted like Maggi, far from good. One of us got a sea bream without any side dishes. These (potatoes) only arrived after half an hour. 3 beer glasses had chips on the drinking edge. None of us wanted to argue or get angry. But this is where everything really went wrong. At the end there was a schnapps on the house. We all needed it, even though it didn't change anything. Too bad! That was a completely absurd idea. The worst thing was that we felt completely ignored until we spoke up. No active communication in between, as if we weren't there

Very long waiting times for both food and drinks. The service seems to be completely overwhelmed with everything. Food was okay but really nothing special for the price… Generally a very loud shop where it's hard to have a conversation.

Pizza just mediocre, pasta okay. Nice location with a view of the Rhine. You can do it, but you don't have to.

The service in this place is a disaster, not only did they forget about our order, but also everyone didn't give a damn about us, an elderly lady asked twice what happened to our order, never came back with an answer and then pretended not to notice us, the waiter was a beetroot who couldn't He didn't even apologize to admit his mistake, we had to take the card ourselves, they weren't even given a box, TRAGEDY!!!! Very nice restaurant. It tastes really good and it has a good view. There are ten of us and there was no problem with space or paying. Everyone is really nice here and super relaxed to sit here. The food is a bit expensive but also justified.

Been coming here for a long time. This time we went with friends. Ate pasta and pizza. With tasty starters. Staff are friendly. Food is good. It is always very busy. You can sit inside, in the conservatory and now outside on the terrace. We sat inside in front of the open doors with a lovely breeze and were perfect. Always happy to come again.

I ended up here based on reviews, unfortunately the service was very slow even though it was not too busy, after waiting over an hour for the food (2 pizzas) I still have my doubts whether this was freshly prepared, it looked more like frozen pizza, simply too round.

We were here for the first time today and also the last time. First we waited almost 30 minutes until anyone from the staff came to our table. The drinks were then brought quickly. We then had to wait a long time for the food. In the meantime, all the guests at the other tables have received rolls and butter. Finally our pizza arrived. My husband's was correct, I ordered one with crab and mussels. Unfortunately, there was a pizza with spinach in front of me. I immediately objected to that. The lady who had given me the pizza took it back with the words "Oh, something went very wrong. Of course my husband then ate. The lady then walked back and forth a few times and was at other tables. When I told my husband about my displeasure about it, she suddenly stood at our table and rudely said that my pizza was coming soon and that it would have to be remade. I then told her that I wanted to eat together with my husband and not one after the other. Again she rudely said she was sorry, the pizza was coming soon. I had already noticed that the pizzas were different sizes. When my pizza was delivered, I couldn't believe my eyes. The pizza wasn't the size of a normal pizza, it would have fit on a cake plate. We then just finished eating, paid the bill and left. We won't eat here anymore.

We sat down outside for 20 minutes waiting to order, no one came to us and when t started to rain they asked us to go inside, but in the meantime it was full inside so we had to leave in the rain.

Italian flair and good hospitality

Enjoy the beautiful weather and delicious food on the quay under a parasol, but the downside is that they leave the empty plates and glasses on the table for a long time.

La Taverna has been a household name in Emmerich for many years. You can enjoy a delicious meal here with a beautiful view over the Rhine. Prices are very friendly.

Despite a reservation we had to wait 20 minutes. Then it took about 15 minutes for the drinks to be absorbed.

Perfect! Excellent service and out of this world dishes! You cannot go in Emmerich and not eat there.

Food was good but unfortunately the staff didn't have a good day. There were enough staff, but we were forgotten. It started with the pizza rolls and didn't work at all with the drinks. We were here for the first and last time.

Had dinner with friends at La Taverna last Saturday and even though Italy had lost, the mood remained high. A top address for more than 30 years!!

The pizza was quite small, had few toppings and had a thick dough. Unfortunately not very tasty in my opinion. I definitely wouldn't come back. The ambience and light are also not very appealing.

Wide variety of meat dishes, fish dishes, pasta and pizzas. Definitely worth repeating. This location is also well occupied on a weekday Tuesday evening. The pizzas could certainly be a bit larger...

We always like to go to Emmerich to eat in this pizzeria. The location on the Rhine is great. The staff is always very friendly and checks whether drinks are missing, the food tastes good or anything else is needed. My daughter's pizza was really dark and I noticed that. It was natural for the employee to bring a new one. My daughter was very happy. The food is really very good and for us the pizza rolls are the best we have ever eaten. The ingredients are fresh. Everything is visually well presented. This time we had pizza and lasagna. Everything was very good and freshly prepared. But we can also recommend the meat dishes. We'd love to come back.

We always enjoy being there again. The owners and their team are always super nice and fulfill every wish. When it came to eating, we never had anything that wasn't tasty or fresh. In rush hour everything goes well and even in the most stressful times, no one loses their smile or friendliness.

At 10pm we went inside and had a really great meal and a nice beer and wine. Really great.

Delicious food with good service and a nice atmosphere

Tisch um 1900 Uhr bestellt, um1915 Uhr erst frei. Keine Entschuldigung, sondern nur die Aussage, Da müssen Sie noch warten. Auf das Essen haben wir dann mehr als eine Stunde gewartet. Das kam dann nicht für alle zusammen. Die bestellte Pizza kam dann erst 10 Minuten nach den anderen Gerichten. ...und war verbrannt. Wurde auch reklamiert und es kam nach weiteren 10 Minuten eine neue Pizza. Die war nicht ganz so "rustikal". Das jemand sich nach Getränken erkundigt, Fehlanzeige. Obwohl wir gegenüber der Kasse den Tisch hatten. Bei der Bestellung der Nachspeise ging es dann weiter. 25 Minuten auf einen Tiramisu, Tartufo und Panacotta gewartet. Es kam aber nur der Tiramisu und der Tartufo. Es wurde uns dann erst gesagt das Panacotta nicht mehr da sei. Ärgerlich. Der Tiramisu fällt eher unter die Rubrik Tirami giu`. (Zieh mich runter) Ohne mit Amaretto und Espresso Leicht getränktem Bisquitt. Es war eher eine Cremetorte mit Kakaopulver on top. Schade, kenne ich anders. Positiv: Das Fleisch und die Nudelgerichte waren gut. Dennoch, kann man das Restaurant nicht empfehlen.

Ontvangst was oké, daarna lang wachten op drankjes. Van de twee voorgerechten kwam er een niet, moesten we twee keer om vragen (broodjes met kruidenboter en bruschetta). Vervolgens kwam het hoofdgerecht een pizza van 13 euro met een keiharde rand en een doorsnee van hooguit 22 cm… Pasta aglio e olio was prima. De specialiteit pasta met garnalen en courgette was ronduit een smakeloze zoute hap, met welgeteld 4 garnalen en een paar stukjes courgette, echt treurig en weer twee keer moeten vragen om parmezaanse kaas. Geen 70 euro waard!!

First-class Italian on the promenade in Emmerich. Beautiful terrace that offers a great view of the Rhine bridge. Minestrone and tomato soup were fantastic. We will be back.

Beautifully located on the Rhine promenade. Heated terrace with comfortable seating. The food is very good. Price/performance ratio fits. The soups on offer are top. A treat after a walk along the promenade. Extremely friendly service staff. Within a week we are 'repeat offenders' and will come back on our next visit to Emmerich. Reservation recommended.

A damn good Italian with great quality.

I asked for a table as an individual and was served very friendly by everyone. Everyone working hand in hand is careful and friendly. The food is of good quality, freshly prepared and served hot. We recommend.

I have been coming here to the Italian brothers since the 1980s. Cheap and good Brunello, and Barollo wines and Moët Champagne. The food is unsurpassed and one of the best pizzerias I have been to in my life. On all fronts. The atmosphere is perfect. The small round table in the front or the small one on the dais are the best! Nice terrace in summer, and the dishes are all delicious. Dorande in sea salt from the oven is my favorite. Sometimes I came there daily, weekly or monthly, and sometimes I didn't go for six months. But I always came back! No doubt about it, come in immediately if you like Italian food! 🇮🇹 Viva Italia!!

Hier fühlt man sich geborgen und genießt einen gemütlichen Abend in Familienatmosphäre. Die Betreiber samt Team leben für und mit dem Restaurant. Es gibt eine große Auswahl wunderbarer italienischer Gerichte, und für jeden ist etwas dabei. Auch die Pizza ist wahnsinnig lecker mit extra knusprig- fluffigem Rand. Es gibt nur eine Größe, aber die ist genau richtig und der Belag auf den Boden perfekt abgestimmt. Meiner Meinung nach, schwer zu übertreffen. Auch die Pastagerichte sind vielfältig und sehr lecker. Wir kommen gerne wieder und genießen hier ein paar schöne Stunden. Danke 🙏

Nicht zu empfehlen. Wir waren zu viert. Etwa 15min. Später kamen andere Gäste neben uns die waren zu dritt. In der Zeit wo wir unser Essen bestellt haben und gewartet haben bis es kommt, haben die anderen 3 besagten Gäste bestellt, gegessen und bezahlt. Wir haben gut 2 Stunden auf unser Essen warten müssen bis gesagt wurde das ein Gericht nicht serviert werden kann, da eine Maschine in der Küche kaputt ging. Man hatte das Gefühl ignoriert zu werden. Serviecekräfte schauten offensichtlich des Öfteren zu uns aber liefen nur vorbei. Das Essen war auch nicht wirklich besonders. Da haben wir schon deutlich besseres gegessen für das selbe Geld oder zum Teil sogar weniger.

Hier bekommt man richtig leckeres Essen fürs Geld. Gerne wieder 👍 Bruscetta könnte ich jeden Tag essen !!

Nach Jahren mal wieder da gewesen, allerdings mit einem Familienmitglied , welches dort häufiger zu Gast ist ! Kurz und knapp zusammengefasst . 1 Stunde gewartet, Essen vergessen, waren zu Viert ,Essen kam in Abständen von 15 -20 Minuten,von Kellnerin ins Gesicht belogen , anstatt einer ehrlichen und einfachen Entschuldigung,Lasagne nicht durchgebacken und wässrig . Tja da hilft auch Gucci Gürtel und anstoßen mit Stammgästen . Aber zur Entschuldigung gab es einen Nachtisch .

Emmericher "Kult"-Italiener, sehr nett aber das Essen an sich doch mehr 2. Liga, Portionen auch ehr klein, Preis-Leistung stimmt nicht. Es gibt bessere und gleichzeitig günstigere Italiener in der Region.

Waren dort zu zweit zu unserer Silberhochzeit essen. Die Pizzen sind zwar recht klein aber dafür schmecken sie einfach mega gut. Man sitzt total gemütlich. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Schönes Restaurant mit sehr leckerem Essen zu fairen Preisen. Wir haben Pilzrisotto und Bruscetta gegessen - beides hat echt gut geschmeckt. Der Hauswein (weiß) ist ebenfalls zu empfehlen. Das Ambiente im Wintergarten direkt an der Rheinpromenade war sehr schön, besonders bei Sonnenuntergang wird‘s romantisch. Für Vegetarier ist definitiv einiges dabei :)

Wir brauchten spontan für unsere Freizeitgruppe einen größeren Tisch. Hat super funktioniert. Wir haben durchweg gut gegessen. Ist zu empfehlen!!!

Müssten etwas auf den reservierten Tisch warten. Vorspeisen wie Vitello Tonnato oder Bruschetta lecker. Hauptgang Nudeln mit vier Käse hätte etwas mehr sein dürfen. Getränkeservice ließ am Ende etwas nach.

Bediening duurde te lang. Verzachtend omstandigheden...het was erg druk. Dat krijg je ervan als het zo lekker is....

Wir haben über eine Stunde auf das Essen warten müssen. Die Pizza hatte eine viel zu harte Kruste und war daher ungenießbar. Das Personal ist zu gestresst. Für uns nie wieder.

Niet gegeten maar wel een.heerlijke ijscoupe gehad!

Vreselijke ervaring hier gehad. Ik heb een lasagne besteld en die bestond voor 90% uit kaas. De eigenaar vroeg mij of ik het eten lekker vond en ik gaf aan van niet. Toen ik vertelde dat ik het lekker vond kon de eigenaar opeens geen Engels, Duits of Nederlands meer maar alleen Italiaans. Schaam jullie, ik kom hier NOOIT meer!!!!

Leider 1,5h aufs Essen gewartet, es war ein Fehler passiert. Mein Essen war ölig, hat der nette Kellner aber am Ende nicht berechnet! Trotzdem wer ein ruhiges Abendessen will ist da Fehl am Platz, Biergarten-Atmosphäre! Laut, viel Alkohol, betrunkene Männer sogar an einem Mittwoch. Aber wer sowas mag ist da richtig —— Ich kann mir nur denken dass all die guten Bewertungen auch von Leuten sind die so eine Atmosphäre feiern! Wie gesagt viel Alkohol und laut wer es mag

Heerlijk eten en vriendelijk personeel. Op verzoek een andere pizza kunnen laten maken dan dat op de kaart stond. Zou er zo nog een keer eten!

Lekker druk, lekker gegeten. Terras, serre en restaurant goed gezet. Helemaal top net over de grens!

Zoals altijd weer top. Ongeacht hoe vol je zit bestel de tiramisu die is echt top. Misschien de volgende keer vragen of ze die ook gewoon los verkopen.

Поужинать в пиццерию мы пришли в 19:00. Решили ужинать внутри, так как на улице стоял очень неприятный запах со стороны большого химического завода, который находится рядом с городом. Заказ приняли быстро, быстро приготовили и заказанную еду. Но на столе не оказалось соли и перца, а нашу просьбу принести ещё и оливковое масло к пицце официант забыл, и ему пришлось напоминать 2 раза. К 20:00 пиццерия заполнилась полностью и очевидно у местных жителей это очень популярное место. Но официанты явно не справлялись с таким количеством клиентов. Нам несколько раз пришлось просить чтобы нас рассчитали. Но качество в пицце и пасты были превосходными!
