Delicious food, friendly staff, fast service. The food was excellent, plentiful, tasty, and fresh. Highly recommended. We'll be back again.

I used to love going there. Even though it's always incredibly loud at Incontri, the food used to be really delicious and the service good. Now the noise was the least of my problems. I simply couldn't stomach the food (it was way too salty) and the staff ignored us completely, even after we asked them to come over several times.

The pizza there used to be some of the best in Wolfsburg. We went there again yesterday after a long time. Well... the pizza was okay, but far from great. It was a different style of pizza than I was used to. Apparently, the chef has changed. The pasta dish, "Pasta aglio e olio," was brutally over-seasoned. To me, the pasta was simply too salty (and way overcooked). My wife thought it might be edible with Parmesan, but she stopped eating it after less than half because it was just too much. But the worst thing is the atmosphere: It's so loud that you practically have to shout at each other at a table for two. Even when the place isn't full, like yesterday. It's too crowded. The other guests are sitting so close you could practically snatch food off their plates. The aisles are so narrow that the waiter bumped into my chair several times. Which brings me to the service: Too few staff for too many tables. The place wasn't even full, yet the waiters couldn't keep up and were rushing around the restaurant "blindly." To be seen, you had to wave excessively or even block the way. We were forgotten several times, so, for example, when no one had come to us about 10 minutes after we asked to pay, we went to the front ourselves and stood in their way so they couldn't ignore us any longer. Conclusion: Pizza "okay," pasta terrible. Atmosphere awful. Service abysmal.

The waiter unfortunately can't keep his mouth shut and keeps blabbing about details. He's constantly puffed up and thinks he's important, so be careful what you say, it all gets passed around. He also thinks he's overly important by repeating what other people say. His friendliness is overly artificial. The waitress is incredibly obsequious and leaves a greasy trail, giving off a bad vibe. It's also quite noisy when it's busy. The food is good, but could use a bit more seasoning. However, they do accommodate special requests. The waiter hits on everyone, which is also annoying. The dark-haired guy was much better at his job.

It's hard to understand anything when the waiters present the menu. All the running around is annoying. The staff clears tables too quickly.

I hope the team will work on this, as more discreet and attentive behavior makes guests feel more comfortable. The waiter's facial expressions and comments didn't maintain the usual confidentiality. Management should intervene here, as other staff members also speak Italian. Professionalism and discretion should be a priority.

I've been a guest here for about 20 years. I wouldn't want to repeat today's experience: I ordered pasta with truffles. Since the dish was completely oversalted and didn't taste of truffles at all, I asked for a carbonara. This dish, too, was simply unbearable, oversalted, and mushy. The waitress tried to argue with me that no salt had been added. I had to pay the full price for the dish. There was no word. Apparently, unfortunately, the owner has changed again. Since the original owners left, the quality has only gone downhill. My friends have also confirmed this.

We went there for dinner with three people. The service was very friendly – ​​the food we ordered was rather mediocre in taste, and the quantity was too small for the price (except for the pizza).

Highly recommended for a casual, relaxed evening. A good selection of food and friendly service. The ambiance is rather rustic and simple.

Finally, carbonara as it is traditionally made in Italy, it doesn't get any better than that!!!

Very good Italian cuisine in WOB

This review only applies to the restaurant's drivers! Make sure you get a new driver's license. Almost crashed into a car twice because they didn't stay in their lane. Maybe they should consider replacing the drivers.

The food was really good. We had pasta and pizza. The portions were perfectly fine. A bit on the expensive side, but it tasted very good. There's a good place to sit outside, and since it was a Sunday, there wasn't much traffic, so it was fine. The staff was very friendly, something you don't see very often these days. Keep it up!!! We were very satisfied.

I've been to Trattoria Incontri in Wolfsburg and I have to say I really enjoyed it! The atmosphere is welcoming and very reminiscent of a true Italian trattoria, with a warm and lively atmosphere. Never had such bad bruschetta. For example, a garlic clove cut in half. I'm used to it differently. And to finish off: espresso at 9:15 p.m.? No, not possible, since the machine has already been cleaned. Almost forgot: the knife wasn't clean.

We just wanted to grab a quick pizza today... the Hawaiian pizza for €99.90 immediately caught my eye... When I asked if that was a typo, the answer was no, it's covered in gold leaf. Okay... for me, that was a reason to go...

I recommended the restaurant to a friend, but the pizza they delivered was completely soggy, presumably damaged in transit. They refused to offer a refund or reimbursement from the delivery service. Therefore, recommending it or ordering again is out of the question for me. When you work in the service industry, you have to treat customers with a certain level of friendliness.

An absolute disaster! The pizza arrived completely destroyed – the toppings were off, the dough was soggy, and the whole thing was inedible. Passing something like this off as a delivery is a disgrace. I'll never order from here again!

Authentic Italian Delicious Fair prices

The food and service were very good. High-quality ingredients and fresh. The music over a Bluetooth speaker was rather unpleasant and at times much too loud. But with the right seats, that's not a problem. We'll definitely be back.

Simply one of the best restaurants! The pizza, as well as the pasta dishes, are fantastic. Truly excellent. My only criticism is that it gets louder inside as the place gets more crowded, so I recommend sitting outside when the weather is nice.

We ate here with three people. The waitress was very friendly and, as soon as we arrived at our table, placed the current daily menu on the side of our table. The food is truly delicious, and it's a pleasure to enjoy the evening there. We'll definitely be back, as there are still many dishes we want to try!

Ordered pizza and spaghetti for takeout. The pizza was ready, but they said the spaghetti needed to be made again because they had made something else instead of aglio el olio. Another 20-minute wait, and the pizza got cold. Unfortunately, that was the last time they were there.

Apparently, the trattoria team had a terrible day today. Six of us – all of us regulars – went out to dinner this evening. It took 45 minutes before we could place our first drink order, even though not all the tables were occupied. The pizzas, which were once the star of the show, were mediocre at best and far too dark. We had to wait over an hour for our second drink order. We also had to wait that long with the empty plates on our tables until they were cleared... We forwent dessert and a final espresso due to the long wait for the first two courses. In our many years as regular visitors to the trattoria, this has never happened to us... a real shame, because that's how you lose customers, especially since the otherwise renowned friendliness of the staff was obviously also having an off day today...

In my opinion, Wolfsburg's best Italian restaurant, with a fish menu that's second to none. The prices are more than reasonable for the quality of the ingredients. Like so many restaurants, it can be a bit noisy inside at times, but the outdoor seating is very cozy in the summer. Whenever we're in Wolfsburg, we always try to eat here at least once. Oh, and by the way: the staff is super friendly and accommodating. In short: our favorite Italian restaurant❤️.

The waitresses seemed consistently annoyed and rude, and we had to ask several times when our drinks would finally arrive. Throughout the entire visit, hostile looks made us feel very uncomfortable – not a pleasant atmosphere. I really like to tip when the service is good. But in this case, I simply couldn't justify it. It was all the more unpleasant to be asked directly when paying, "What about the tip?" Sorry, but as a guest, you have to expect a certain minimum for respectful treatment and attentive service. It's a shame – with friendlier staff, the visit could have been much more positive.

Yesterday we ate at Incontri again for 1.5 years. I have known the store since it opened more than 20 years ago. In 2023, new operators took over the Incontri. And things have been going downhill since then: - The menu is now wrapped in "plastic" and appears careless - The service was very bad: the table we had booked was suddenly no longer available. We asked several times which pizzas we ordered, and still the wrong one came. - The bread served at the beginning was dry. I didn't dare use the balsamic bottle with a white shirt because of the risk of splashing - The pizzas were okay, but in contrast to before they were only topped with dry herbs instead of fresh and way too much oregano for the taste. All around: The quality has deteriorated extremely. It's a shame, but it's no longer an option for us!

Wir waren nach längerer Zeit mal wieder im Incontri und hatten zu Zweit drei unterschiedliche Gerichte von der Tageskarte. Jedes einzelne Gericht war super lecker. Es fing an mit frittiertem Thunfisch an Limonenmayonaise, und als Hauptspeise Rouladen aus Entrecôte und grünen Spargel sowie Nudeln mit Garnelen. Der Abend hat sich gelohnt. Einfach sehr gute Küche

When asked, they said, “coming soon.” But it didn't come because it wasn't even ordered. We found out from the boss after an hour of waiting. He then offered us an espresso as an apology. No thanks. The food wasn't good considering the high prices. Everything was loveless and without any particular taste for €85 despite the lack of a main course. The restaurant is also unfamiliar with children's meals. Pasta with tomato sauce or a children's pizza (size) were not possible. By the way, the Italian guests at the neighboring table were served completely differently. From the first minute there was a waiter at the table who tried very hard to ensure the well-being of the guests. We would have liked it too. We won't be coming back and would advise any good acquaintances not to visit. Family sick

Unfortunately we didn't get the food we wanted and hoped for. In response. That's how they cook in Italy. Linguini with shrimps. It was something small and pooped. Food went back. But we were allowed to pay 24.50. Very disappointed! My wife's pizza was very good!

A nice trattoria in a pleasant location. We were warmly welcomed, the food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. The daily and weekly menu was also pleasing. In terms of price, some of the dishes are in the upper midfield. But the quality is good and that's why it's okay. Overall a recommendation.

We were there this evening to dine there. The ambience was nice and typically Italian, unfortunately the entrance area and the tables there were very drafty and cold. The waitresses (whether they were men or women) both seemed very listless and were often busy with their cell phones. Although the shop wasn't particularly busy at the moment, we had to wait a long time for our main course after the starter, which was far too small and far too expensive (6 bites of bread with a few toppings for €10.90?!?). It could have been because I wanted a pizza without spicy salami, it doesn't seem to be the standard repertoire. The pasta and pizza arrived after what felt like half an hour. The pizza itself was OK, just too dark around the edges. However, the salami on the pizza had a strange, rubbery consistency and was therefore difficult to cut. The pasta that my girlfriend ate was ok, but the tomato sauce (or at least what it was supposed to represent) didn't taste like anything. The two waitresses didn't come in between and asked if everything was okay, in keeping with the listlessness mentioned above. All in all, a flop in terms of performance and a modest culinary experience for €50 and a few cents. Maybe. You should also drink your food well, because the wine list plus the selection of alcoholic drinks was larger than the actual menu. Never again. P.S. Reservations are squandered and you are allowed to sit in the drafty entrance. When you ask about the food whether everything was okay, no criticism is tolerated; you could have said before the meal that it didn't taste good and not afterwards. If you had known beforehand, you wouldn't have ordered it or visited this place in the first place. It's a shame, it was a deterrent example of a restaurant that wasn't adequate for the price.

The service was attentive and funny, it was a thoroughly successful visit. When it got busier in the evening, it was quite loud due to the spatial conditions, hence a small deduction in the B grade. If we end up in Wolfsburg again, we'd be happy to do so again.

Neu war das gruselige Essen. Ich hatte Spaghetti aglio e olio mit einer undefinierbaren braunen(!) Soße und in Stücke gehackten Garnelen. Ich kenne keinen Italiener - und in Wolfsburg gibt es viele - der so schlecht kocht. Aber, wie gesagt, der Laden war voll. Da fällt es wahrscheinlich nicht auf, dass ich zukünftig woanders esse.

Okay, it's always been that way and I knew it beforehand. What was new was the scary food. I had spaghetti aglio e olio with an indefinable brown(!) sauce and shrimp chopped into pieces. I don't know any Italian - and there are many in Wolfsburg - who cooks so badly. But, as I said, the store was full. You probably won't notice that I eat somewhere else in the future.

I've eaten at Incontri many times, the quality is always excellent. All pasta dishes are recommended. Especially the Amatriciana. The price/performance ratio is definitely right.
