L’Osteria in Wolfsburg

The food at L’Osteria is really good! The pizzas are huge and delicious, the ingredients are fresh, and the pasta is also impressive. The staff is friendly and tries to keep everything under control despite the busy situation. Unfortunately, there is one big negative point: the volume. It's so loud that you can hardly have a normal conversation. Unfortunately, this takes away a lot of the comfort and makes the stay exhausting. I feel particularly sorry for the employees who have to work under these conditions - I imagine that would be really difficult. It would be great if improvements were made here, for example with silencers or other noise reduction measures. Overall a good restaurant with great food and nice service, but the noise pollution is really annoying.

Fast and friendly service, super delicious food. The food came warm after about 15 minutes.

30 minutes until a waiter came - even though not even 1/3 of the restaurant was full. When I asked if we could finally order, no one came. Food is on the pass for 15 minutes and arrives lukewarm. Sorry but no goooooo.

Loud, crowded, inhospitable Pizza was delicious, salad too, tomato soup that I've eaten in other restaurants, but it tastes good. Tortellini ham cream sauce with raw ham cubes from the package and RAW onion cubes. Sorry, that doesn't work at all. A pure clearance. No comparison to the Osteria in Garbsen.

Cool design. Wanted to eat the gluten free option Zoodles. After ordering I was informed that the gluten free option was sold out. Then an alternative was offered which was unfortunately served to me as containing gluten. Finally I took a salad. I was disappointed that there were so few gluten-free zoodles in stock. The service was very friendly and helpful.

First stopped and then ate deliciously

We were treated like the GDR restaurants used to be run, a young lady came, we said a table for 4, who knows if she understood that correctly, she saw us and 2 dogs and a lot of shopping. Our children were supposed to follow, she then wanted to sit us in a narrow bench, I don't know where we would have fit with bags and dogs. Opposite there was a free table for four and we wanted to sit down, then she came running up and rudely explained that she had told us where we should sit down???? That's how it was at the VEB... we decided to go there (her comment, then that's how it is) but wanted to speak to the management first, then she came back grinning and said that was her, her name is Ivana, with customers, rather poorly staffed, then there was a rude waiter who actually didn't know what it was about, who then said - and bye... With all due respect, it doesn't work like that, neither we nor our children will enter this shop as long as such staff are there the guests are let go. We have never experienced this since it opened.

I would be happy to recommend L'Osteria to you. The only drawback is that it is very loud.

I was here recently at typical lunch time and I have to say it was extremely busy. You had to wait a while until a spot became available. Nevertheless, the atmosphere was really great - modern and inviting, even if it was a bit noisy due to the large number of guests. A positive highlight is the extremely friendly staff, who tried to provide good service despite the crowded situation. A small disadvantage, however, was that the tables were so close together that you couldn't extend your chair properly and you regularly came into contact with the neighboring tables. Overall, L'Osteria in the Wolfsburg outlet offers an attractive ambience and delicious food, but you should expect waiting times and a little less comfort due to the full rooms. If you come outside of peak times, you can probably enjoy the experience in a more relaxed manner.

Food was great, service was so back and forth, the colleague who took the order wasn't particularly interested, the colleague who cashed in at the end was super nice ✌️

Four of us were there on Sunday afternoon. Food great, service unfortunately a total flop. Starter plates were left behind when the main course arrived. Ordering a second round of drinks was a test of patience because no one came. We were almost finished eating. No questions asked when clearing the plates whether everything was OK.

Very nice Italian restaurant, although it is a chain, you can still eat well here. The staff is friendly, helpful and quick. The pizzas are very large, you have the option of having the pizza topped differently and sharing it with another person. The dessert is very small in relation to the size of the pizza, so I actually would have liked a little more (spaghetti ice cream and panna cotta)

The pizza was brought to the table very quickly and tasted very good. The best pizza in years. We will definitely come to this restaurant again.

Wow! Delicious pizzas, I have never eaten such a delicious, large (45cm) pizza in any restaurant and for only 14.95. I had the prosciuto pizza. Highly recommended. The only downside is that unfortunately you cannot make a reservation and due to the crowds (because it is so delicious) you can wait a long time before a seat becomes available. Service was okay for us, but you have to have a lot of patience. But we were sorry for this because of the crowds and when we got our pizza it was definitely worth the wait. Also very tasty cocktails, for little 💰

01/03/25. Where do you go when you're cold and hungry from ice skating in the Autostadt? Fast food on the go? Sausage from the stand? No - then L'Osteria is your first choice 👍. You have to wait a bit before you get a table... but it's worth it 👍. Food, service, sociability, nice neighbors. The 4 of us were not disappointed this time either 😃. Conclusion: always happy 😉

A stylish and delicious Italian restaurant. The portions of their pizzas are very large. Also suitable for families with children. When it's busy, you may have to wait in line.

Slacked off endlessly, everything in general matches the quality and above all the service and the cuisine do not match the prices. It's a shame, the early years were still good.

Even though we had made a reservation, we still stood in front of the entrance for about 20 minutes. So we couldn't adhere to the specified time window of 1.5 hours. The food was good, but the noise level was extremely high. This made the atmosphere more like a canteen. Too bad...

ONE STAR IS TOO MANY. I AM VISITING WOLFSBURG FROM PARIS AND HAD THE MANAGER YELLING AT ME. JUST BECAUSE I SIT DOWN AT A TABLE WITH MY SISTER AND A BABY. WHY ISN'T IT CALMLY EXPLAINED THAT THE TABLE IS NOT FREE?? INSTEAD YOU WILL BE EXPLED FROM THE RESTAURANT FOR BREACHING THE RULES?! ALL I CAN SAY IS YOU WILL BE SCREAMED AT AND YOUR BABY WILL BE JUST THROWED OUT. I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED SO MUCH AGRESSION AND RUDENESS.

We were back at Losteria yesterday afternoon after a long time, after the last visit was rather disappointing, today things were similar. The appetizer came before the drinks we ordered first, our ordered pizzas then arrived very late, and one pizza was clearly burnt black on the edge, so a large part of the pizza was not edible. With the drinks we were simply served 2 small cola instead of the 2 large cola we ordered. When we couldn't even finish the dessert and drinks in peace, one of the waiters came and wanted to collect money, which was very stressful and unpleasant. In the future we will prefer to go to Braunschweig because at least it works perfectly even if the store is busy, and as a paying customer you leave enough money behind.

We wanted to eat there as a family around 4 p.m. The restaurant was “only” half full. Nevertheless, we had to wait at the entrance for 20 minutes without being greeted or told that there was a waiting time. When we finally asked a waiter, he said that they were poorly staffed and that we would have to wait there for at least another 10 minutes. We then left. Bad staff, poor customer service. Too bad.

Unfortunately, our visit to L’Osteria Wolfsburg on December 6th, 2024 was very disappointing. I had ordered the Tagliolini neri delizia (black tagliatelle with saffron cream sauce and shrimp) but received spaghetti. When I pointed this out to the waitress, I received a curt response that this was how it was ordered, only to later apologize and admit that there had been a mistake when taking the order. The black ribbon noodles were probably out and spaghetti was simply used as a replacement without consulting me. If I had known that, I would have chosen a completely different dish. My husband ordered the Orecchiette di Manzo al Limone (beef fillet strips with peppers, arugula, onions, garlic, mascarpone lemon sauce, rosemary, piccante). Instead of strips of beef fillet, however, there were only small cubes of meat, maybe six of them, and there were also leftover spaghetti and rigatoni in the dish. When we asked to stabilize the wobbling table with a beer mat or something similar, we were assured that it would be taken care of, but no one came. It's a real shame because I enjoyed eating there, but that was over for me after this visit.

We had a great spot by the window with Christmas lights in the background. Conditions were brisk and friendly. We had pizza and pasta, hmmm delicious. We'd love to come back.

As always, just great, fast service and reasonable prices. Glad to be there again next year.

The food was delicious and very generous portions. Unfortunately on our evening the staff was overworked or something and was rather unfriendly and kept us sitting longer. We got a table quickly but the cards took a long time to arrive, ordering then eating again almost too quickly, food came after a reasonable time but since we wanted to go further, we wanted to pay relatively promptly after eating. That was somehow a problem, we had to speak to the staff 4 times and then wanted to go ahead and pay until the annoyed waiter came and quickly cashed in and didn't even say goodbye or have a nice evening when we said goodbye.

Ate absolutely delicious pizza. Pizzas are so big that you can make two different types in one. In the picture there is salami & Hawaii, in the background arugula. We were there right when the restaurant opened and when we got a table, the drinks arrived within a few minutes and the pizzas were ready after about 10 minutes.

The food is great, the atmosphere and the service are actually good, but due to the high number of people, it is actually always quite restless and the service staff is constantly rushing back and forth, which often makes it difficult to handle.

We were here yesterday. Restaurant was very full with people waiting. Staff was very friendly, professional and quick. Food was very good. Our waitress, Mr. Monzer, deserves special praise. Was always there, super friendly and always available to have fun. That's what you want. We'd love to come back

A bit crowded seating area and you also get seated by the staff. For the price, would expect bigger amount of ingredients on the pizza. Service was a little bit slow but not too bad. Other than that we had a good stay

The pizza was very good and I was amazed by the size, I don't remember reading it on the paper but still very good, the service good, but I think I would have served the customers first and then arranged the tables. Actually a normal restaurant in the Osteria chain, but with particularly cheerful employees. Monzer and O.Malla in particular (hopefully spelled correctly) exude a lot of good mood while baking pizza and the pizza was really tasty (and huge)

What prompted me to give this feedback is the side salad: it describes green salad with cherry tomatoes and cucumber with radishes. I received a bowl of green salad, ONE cherry tomato (2 halves), two slices of cucumber (four halves) and half a radish cut into several slices - and the whole thing for just under 6 euros. I just wanted more of the ingredients listed. It's always very loud in L'Osteria - the later the evening, the less you can have a conversation. The service staff are completely overwhelmed, even if they try to be friendly. I didn't want to work in this stressful atmosphere (noise, too few staff) (paraphrase: I feel sorry for the employees). The food is delicious - that's the only incentive. Addendum: I contacted L'Osteria because they asked for a clarifying conversation: there was never a response to my email. L'Osteria is therefore not interested in changes.

There is always a lot going on in the restaurant. Nevertheless, we were greeted unfriendly at the front and waited a long time for our drinks. There were many burnt spots on the BBQ pizza. For the hefty price of 18 euros, I definitely expect more. The volume is particularly annoying. You almost don't understand the person you're talking to.

Delicious and huge pizza, great service. Always my pleasure. Unfortunately, service was poor and the pizza wasn't seasoned well. The non-alcoholic wheat was not Erdinger but some lemony 0815 wheat. It's a shame not again .

Very busy on Friday evening, we had to destroy a few pistachios at the bar before there was a table. Food was good as usual, the pizza could have been a little crispier for my taste. Very nice staff at the bar as well as at the table.

We have been regular guests there for years. And always satisfied.

This is our fifth day in a row to eat here. The employees are very accommodating. The portions are really huge, everything is well organized and you don't have to wait long for the food to come. The prices are also completely reasonable. However, you should reserve a table, as it is always very crowded if you don't have a table reserved. You may have to wait at the counter for a while.

The food is always delicious. The waitresses are very friendly and service-oriented. That's how it should be. Highly recommended.

The porcini mushroom risotto didn't taste good. It was very runny, the rice and liquid didn't taste like porcini mushroom at all, there was no Parmesan cooked down. Can't recommend. The pizzas look good, but unfortunately we didn't try them. Espresso was good, as was the service. Atmosphere: we had the impression that it was served quickly and served quickly so that sales were good. The store was also full to capacity in the evening (around 7 p.m.).

The food is damn tasty as can be seen in my review. Unfortunately the staff was very overwhelmed and stressed even though it wasn't full at the time. We had to move around twice even though food and drink had already been ordered for no real reason (4 people). Had a very nice evening with good food here in Wolfsburg. The service from “Omid” was great. He was not disturbed by the stress and always remained polite. He did his job to our complete satisfaction. This simply needs to be said once. This made the evening completely relaxed - even if L'Osteria was completely full. Gladly again - unfortunately far from home.

Ordered vegan pizza, got two cheese pizzas. They threw the first one away. Kelner didn't take me seriously and blamed me. I know what yeast melt looks like... That wasn't yeast melt.

A very great Italian restaurant. Very well maintained and nicely decorated. The pizza was bigger than expected and didn't fit on the plate (there was a paper pad that every pizza guest ordered so that the pizza didn't hang on the table👍🏼😂) There is an open kitchen where you can watch the pizza being prepared. Something unusual: the soap in the toilets is also an absolute recommendation. Upon request, the soap dispenser was brought to us, which you can also buy in the L'Osteria online shop.

This time the pizza wasn't burnt on the bottom but was really perfect. Very, very tasty and with double cheese etc. there was enough topping on it. The other dishes were also said to be very tasty. Thanks to the kitchen, great. All I can say about the atmosphere is that it is far too narrow. The table next door was so close to ours that the person was sitting with their back between me and my stepdaughter. A relaxed conversation was not possible. The noise was super loud but it was also full. Speaks for the food. Great, keep it up.
