L’Osteria in Wolfsburg

There is always a lot going on in the restaurant. Nevertheless, we were greeted unfriendly at the front and waited a long time for our drinks. There were many burnt spots on the BBQ pizza. For the hefty price of 18 euros, I definitely expect more. The volume is particularly annoying. You almost don't understand the person you're talking to.

Unfortunately we had rotten rocket on the bruschetta, the pizza wasn't baked properly, the cheese wasn't even spread properly and the dough had nothing to do with pizza dough The service was very nice

Very busy on Friday evening, we had to destroy a few pistachios at the bar before there was a table. Food was good as usual, the pizza could have been a little crispier for my taste. Very nice staff at the bar as well as at the table.

This is our fifth day in a row to eat here. The employees are very accommodating. The portions are really huge, everything is well organized and you don't have to wait long for the food to come. The prices are also completely reasonable. However, you should reserve a table, as it is always very crowded if you don't have a table reserved. You may have to wait at the counter for a while.

The porcini mushroom risotto didn't taste good. It was very runny, the rice and liquid didn't taste like porcini mushroom at all, there was no Parmesan cooked down. Can't recommend. The pizzas look good, but unfortunately we didn't try them. Espresso was good, as was the service. Atmosphere: we had the impression that it was served quickly and served quickly so that sales were good. The store was also full to capacity in the evening (around 7 p.m.).

Had a very nice evening with good food here in Wolfsburg. The service from “Omid” was great. He was not disturbed by the stress and always remained polite. He did his job to our complete satisfaction. This simply needs to be said once. This made the evening completely relaxed - even if L'Osteria was completely full. Gladly again - unfortunately far from home.

The food is damn tasty as can be seen in my review. Unfortunately the staff was very overwhelmed and stressed even though it wasn't full at the time. We had to move around twice even though food and drink had already been ordered for no real reason (4 people). Ordered vegan pizza, got two cheese pizzas. They threw the first one away. Kelner didn't take me seriously and blamed me. I know what yeast melt looks like... That wasn't yeast melt.

A very great Italian restaurant. Very well maintained and nicely decorated. The pizza was bigger than expected and didn't fit on the plate (there was a paper pad that every pizza guest ordered so that the pizza didn't hang on the table👍🏼😂) There is an open kitchen where you can watch the pizza being prepared. Something unusual: the soap in the toilets is also an absolute recommendation. Upon request, the soap dispenser was brought to us, which you can also buy in the L'Osteria online shop.

Owner seems to have changed. Waited 30 minutes for drinks, 50 minutes for food. There are 5 employees at the counter and still there is no progress!??

This time the pizza wasn't burnt on the bottom but was really perfect. Very, very tasty and with double cheese etc. there was enough topping on it. The other dishes were also said to be very tasty. Thanks to the kitchen, great. All I can say about the atmosphere is that it is far too narrow. The table next door was so close to ours that the person was sitting with their back between me and my stepdaughter. A relaxed conversation was not possible. The noise was super loud but it was also full. Speaks for the food. Great, keep it up.

A table should definitely be reserved in advance. Very easy online. Unfortunately, the background noise is extremely high.

The lasagna couldn't be gotten out of the pan, you order a "small" pizza and get a pizza that's way too big. Unfortunately, the pizza was difficult to cut and the plate was too small. The restaurant itself is very nicely designed, the staff is nice too.

Extremely bad experience today. We ordered the same thing twice and still got a pizza with a different topping. In addition, only half of one pizza had cheese??? What is that? All the waiter did was give a stupid grin and say "Then that's it"... What the hell??? In the end, there was still a euro too much on the bill. Never again L'Osteria! Such nonsense. Absolutely incompetent staff. Just dirt.

The food was terrible. A chunk of lettuce and canned beetroot on top. Don't even want to think about it. You could feel sorry for the waiter as he ran around the room alone like a bouncy ball.

We've eaten here several times now, otherwise the pizzas were always great, but this time we were disappointed 🙁 the pizza dough was super thin like a cookie 🍪 everything was so crumbly you couldn't cut it well, we hope it'll be better next time is, we like the restaurant 🍴

There were four of us there, around 8:00 p.m. before German Unity Day. Unfortunately, as the waiter told us, the crowds had been very high all day. A few dishes were already sold out and it was correspondingly loud in the room. This is beautifully furnished, we all felt very comfortable. The food (two pizzas and two pasta dishes) arrived within half an hour. The pizza was quite massive size-wise, but not too big. You get really full. Thin, crispy and freshly prepared dough. The service(s) are all extremely friendly and respond to every request. Great service and really good food in a nice restaurant for an affordable price. We'll definitely be back. PS: The hand soap in the guest toilets smells great. Very reminiscent of Molten Brown 👀

Italian chain. Pizza was very large, taste rather unexciting and I don't like the thin, soggy bases that much. Ham was out, salami was offered as a replacement. Orichetti was also out, the only alternative was gnocchi or spaghetti. The taste of the cream sauce was disappointing, strips of beef fillet were quite tough. Service at the table was nice, the reception and the allocation of the table beforehand seemed listless and unfriendly. Conclusion: OK, it fills you up, but once is enough.

Spontaneous visit didn't make a reservation but still got a table. Risotto is highly recommended.

After shopping, I was able to eat delicious Italian food. The pizza is quite large in the size of a grande, and you can order two types of pizza at once. It is made with appropriate toppings and cheese. The food is not salty and bland. However, it takes quite a while to receive the food after ordering.

We have been to many L'Osterias. We were always super satisfied. Unfortunately, the visit to L'Osteria Wolfsburg was a disaster. We had to wait a long time until we were assigned a table. The drinks came to us quickly. Unfortunately we had to see that our food was ready in the kitchen for 10 minutes, but no one had the idea to bring us the food. We ordered Spaghetti Aglio E Olio with seafood. It would have been nice if there had been garlic in the food too. When we told the waitress it was dismissed with a smile. It's a shame... I don't know if we'll eat at a L'Osteria again.

We have been to L'Osteria many times at various locations and find the pizzas and pastas very tasty. However, thanks to the nice employee Ilenia, we had the most delicious visit yesterday. She recommended that we order the Prosciutto Crudo pizza differently than on the menu and I have to say it was the tastiest pizza of my life! Now the other L'Osteria branches may have to take over. Thanks. :)

Yesterday, after waiting for 2 hours, my kids were offered the option to either keep waiting or we'll pay for the drinks and you can leave now and are now banned from the house. They decided to leave. Great job from your waiter. Should be ashamed. Should he treat me like that?

We were happy with our pizzas. They are quite big, and until you finish it, your pizza gets very cold. So, you don’t enjoy the second half at all. It’s a better idea to share one pizza and order salad etc. on the side. I understand the portion is big, but it’s still pricey. The atmosphere is nice. The waiter was kind.

They have this American guilt-tipping concept where they suggest you digitally to tip with preset amounts while the waiter stands next to you and stares at you. Terrible! It destroys the entire dining experience.

Overall, I thought it was a good pizza, but overpriced. I hardly felt anything of original Italian. When paying by card, the standard suggested tip is 5 to 15 percent. I found this choice too far-reaching.

We had pizza (45cm). The pizza was nice and thin and had a crispy edge, in short: very tasty🍕😋. The service was very nice and attentive 💯. We sat outside and because of the nearby train station it was sometimes quite loud when a train went through.

I am a frequent guest at L'Osteria and have always been largely satisfied. But yesterday I was unfortunately disappointed. We got the menu quickly, but had to wait a full 20 minutes before the waiter finally took our order. Given the heat, you would have liked to drink something sooner instead of waiting so long. After 20 minutes the waiter finally came and we were able to order food and drinks at the same time because we had finished choosing in the meantime. The drinks came quickly and so did the food - delicious as always, there's nothing to complain about. Unfortunately, I always experience that you have to wait a long time until a waiter asks for the bill or whether you would like something more to drink. Every time I have to speak to the waiter myself to get the bill. Here, employees should show significantly more customer orientation and ask more often whether the guest would like anything else. So you would definitely like to order another drink.

Dishes were served very fast, but if something if served fast you know how it's prepared. A "funny" waiter wanted to cheated on me calculating change.

Italian chain restaurant. Specializes in pizzas. The size of the pizzas was nice and you had the option of booking two different toppings for each pizza. The pasta dish was child-sized. Parking is available to pay nearby through the outlet center. Generally nothing special and you can tell from the service and ambience that it's a chain.

Very tasty and, above all, huge pizzas (45cm!). Had one with half salami and half cooked ham and mushrooms. My wife had the Degli Artisi. Very good if you want to try two toppings. Antipasti della casa was also very tasty, generous and with a good selection. Great price/performance ratio. I can recommend!

Incredibly unfriendly and unmotivated employees! Unfortunately I can only give one star or I wouldn't give a single one if it were possible, because I haven't had such a bad experience with the service in a single restaurant! I had reserved a table for 3 people. At the reception we were “received” by a very unmotivated employee who took us to our table. You already had the feeling here that you were thinking, “Oh great, someone else who wants to spend money and needs to be served.” The menu cards were carelessly spread across the table. After we had made our decision and put them aside, we were consistently ignored by the entire team. Although the restaurant was well attended, it was far from fully booked and there was actually enough staff to at least notice us. We really don't expect miracles from employees, we understand a lot of things, but we had the feeling that we could sit here forever before someone found the motivation to talk to us. 2 different employees walked past us several times in annoyance without even acknowledging us, even from other employees from a distance, no reaction. There was a family sitting one table away who were already there when we arrived. We could hear that they had the same problem. They told a waiter that they would like to order, the only answer they got was: “Yes, someone is coming soon.” But no one came. After almost 20 minutes we decided to leave. There was no reason to expect any attention being paid. Even when you left the restaurant you were ignored, apparently you didn't need to generate any more sales. We understand everything and if something goes wrong or takes a little longer, it's no problem. But you should at least communicate with your customers in some way and at least convey the impression that you have some interest in your customers. Otherwise, working in the service sector is probably the wrong choice. The fact that the entire “team” gave this negative impression is rather strange. If you read the other reviews, our impression seems to have been correct and we don't seem to be the only ones with a similar experience. Unfortunately, the overall impression that was conveyed here was so unmotivated and listless, not only in dealing with us, that I say: never L'Osteria again! Too bad!

We went to the Designer Outlet Wolfsburg and then ate at L' Osteria. We were welcomed very nicely and drinks came to the table quite quickly. The LARGE pizza was delivered half and half to the table as requested. As always, it was a pleasure. I will come back no matter which restaurant.

We ate here with 5 people. We thought that not much could go wrong. Hungry after our shopping trip, we were led to the table by the bored waiter. We wanted to order a dish posted on a blackboard. Oh no, not possible....An outdated blackboard with dishes. Just forgot to hang out. All right, tortellini then. The court came after half an hour. The restaurant was not well attended...it was green spinach tortellini. This was not noted on the map. These were rock hard....not al dente. Sauce was almost non-existent. Since the 5 of us were hungry and the waiter wasn't around, we ate some of it. That was a real tragedy. You'll never see us here again.

We were 4. Waited 30 minutes to give the orders. My food tasted like salt water, I couldn’t finish it. One pizza was burned and the other one uncooked. Gnocchi had no taste. Ingredients had mediocre quality so I think the food was overpriced. Enviroment could be good if wasn’t for the dust on the decoration and the music.

Ordered 2 pizzas and only one arrived. After 10 minutes I asked and was told it was coming soon. It came limp, half-finished and the whole thing was just slapped on....great, the pizza went straight back. I was offered a new one which I declined, thank you, I was full... There was no apology for forgetting the pizza, and no apology for the half-finished pizza. Once and never again!

On Friday evening we spontaneously got a table for four people. Attentive service, delicious pizza. A bit noisy inside.

It was my first time in this restaurant with a group. Firstly, we had to wait forever for a waiter to come. Then the ice cream was “slapped down” And at the end, when paying, you were forced to give a tip, even though it was not earned. As long as the service is good and friendly, I don't see a problem with it. But it wasn't that in any way. They should work on that there.

Food was good, the waiter was on point and friendly. “Forgotten” backpacks were also returned to their owners.

Food is okay, but doesn't really keep up with the price. The service is perceived as poor because 1. an order was forgotten to be taken 2. an employee on the phone said he would be back soon and forgot that he was supposed to take an order (only a further call led to the order being placed successfully) 3. When speaking to a waiter, the receiver of the private telephone was simply picked up and my approach was ignored 3/4 visits resulted in a bad experience. Would not recommend.

We had a pizza and 2 pasta dishes, the quality of the food was mediocre to poor. With the pasta with the beef fillet strips, apart from pepper, which was plentiful, no real spices could be seen or tasted. Some of the beef fillet was still bloody, and no one asked whether it could be medium. The pizza was huge, but it would be better to have 2 large ones to choose from as the pizzas at the other tables were hardly eaten. In terms of taste, there was no spice here and the salami used was of inferior quality. The food is worth the price in the slightest. When paying, you have the option of choosing between 10 - 15% for the tip or setting the amount yourself: we find that a bit outrageous and we indirectly put you under pressure, especially since the quality and service did not justify this. We gave a reasonable tip and the waitress let us feel his displeasure and we were exhausted. Something like that doesn't work at all.

I have to deduct one point because the store is actually very nice. But there is a noise there that is almost unbearable. Feel-good factor zero. The food was good and the service was good too.

A small group of 5 people are not allowed to sit together because the restaurant doesn't want to push two tables together, really sad this anti-customer mentality!

Very tasty pizza & gnocchi. The staff are incredibly child-friendly. Our children were given something to paint and even some gummy bears to say goodbye. Thank you very much for the great service! We would love to come back 🙂
