La Fontana in Wolfsburg

The pizza is very tasty and gives you a pleasant feeling. The service is always attentive and friendly. A good place to enjoy the summer in Wolfsburg.

For many years you could just eat a piece of sheet pan pizza when you were slightly hungry. Unfortunately, this is no longer possible for quality reasons.

I had a Quatro Stagione pizza and it was really tasty. Very well topped and very well baked, service very friendly, I can only recommend it.

It was a Thursday evening and it was very busy. Reservations are definitely a must, as the restaurant isn't very big. The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff were very friendly. We had a good meal and will be back.

I ordered the Macaroni Fontana, but unfortunately the dish did not correspond to the description on the menu. Instead of the announced cream sauce, a tomato sauce was served, which didn't taste good at all. Additionally, the mushrooms were canned and had an unpleasant taste - something like that really shouldn't happen in a restaurant. The dish consisted of 95% pasta and sauce, while there was hardly any of the remaining ingredients such as ham. The waiting time of 39 minutes, even though there were only three guests in the restaurant, was also disappointing. Overall, a disappointing experience - a shame, because with better quality and service the store could offer much more.

I love the pasta from this place and please you must order the sauce!!! It's delicious 😋

Very conveniently located, very nice operators and friendly service, food was delicious and came with a pleasant waiting time, all in all very good. We didn't make a reservation, but we still got two seats, so it's better to reserve in advance!

Very nice and friendly service, I had pizza capricciosa, my daughter Margherita, ate everything. For dessert there was a lot to choose from, we had Tartufo nero and bianco and the profiterole, very nicely presented and also very tasty. We felt very comfortable. Thank you very much 🤍

Unfortunately, the restaurant was fully booked, but the landlord was so nice and authentic that we will definitely try to eat there again next time we are in Wolfsburg.

We wanted to have lunch and were surprised at the incredibly high prices. The food is very tasty, but it doesn't justify charging €20 for a plate of pasta with shrimp. We also had to wait almost an hour even though we were the first ones. Unfortunately I cannot recommend the store.

Solid Italian cuisine from a really traditional family business with good service orientation

We were very lucky to get a table for two people last night. Very friendly service and tasty food with good wine. Our second visit within a year once again met our expectations. We would be happy to come back next time we visit Wolfsburg. We can really recommend it.

Lokal voll, personal unfreundlich, den Salat als Vorspeise bestellt und nach anfrage zur Hauptspeise mit einen sorry auch bekommen. Salat voll daneben, wässrig, nix Dressing..... leider eine volle null. Für mich ein Duchgangslokal wo man beim Einkaufsbummel mal ne Pizza essen kann. .

We spontaneously went to this small, friendly Italian restaurant twice because there was no food in our hotel. We got a table for the four of us on both evenings and were served very nicely. Pizza and pasta dishes were without exception very tasty 😋. The price-performance ratio was great. Gladly again!

Surprise was a success, I wouldn't have expected such a good meal with attentive service in this city center pavilion, the mussels were delicious and the dessert was also good.

La Fontana is a pleasant option if you just want to have a coffee or a beer in Wolfsburg. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, ideal for a short break in the city. The food is OK, but if you're looking for rustic Italian cuisine, you should walk a few meters further. Overall a solid choice for a quick drink, but for an authentic Italian dinner there are better options nearby.

There is no good relationship between price and performance. Given a second chance and things got worse. Didn't receive our order (simple warm drinks) and sat around stupidly for half an hour.

Wir haben Rigatoni al forno gegessen, die waren Furztrocken und verbrannt. Nie wieder. Auch war kaum Salsa vorhanden.

The pizza there is okay for the price. Filled you up. The taste was okay too. Unfortunately it wasn't all the way through in the middle, not even with my companion. Service took a relatively long time to arrive but was at least friendly. The ambience is nice in the city. The place is great. But outside everything is full of insects and bees/wasps. It was impossible to eat in a relaxed manner without being disturbed by insects.

Visitamos en un día ocupado y tuvimos que esperar un tiempo para nuestra comida, pero sin duda vale la pena esperar. Tuvimos algunos locales a seguir y disfrutamos de un buen servicio también.

Ich schreibe wirklich selten Bewertungen, aber! Ich hatte einen wirklich guten Salat, es befand sich aber ein Barthaar im Thunfisch verklebt. Das darf nicht passieren, aber es kommt vor. Das Personal hält sich nicht an die Lebensmittelabgabeverordnung. Mit einem Bartschutz wäre das nicht passiert. Natürlich bezahle ich für so einen Salat nicht, nach meinem Verständnis! Was halt wirklich frech war und deswegen schreibe ich die Bewertung -> Dennoch bekam ich die Rechnung und ich sollte die Hälfte vom Salat bezahlen, weil ich die Hälfte ja gegessen hatte, bis ich das Barthaar entdeckt habe.. ich bestand darauf den Salat komplett nicht zu bezahlen, das Personal kam dem nach. Mir trotzdem im Versuch die Hälfte berechnen zu wollen, war eine absolute Frechheit. Daher nicht nochmal. Echt enttäuschend von meinen Landsleuten.

At first glance it's a cute little restaurant. We then ordered our food with a starter. Unfortunately the salad came with the steak and the starter came with the main course. When we pointed this out to the waitress, the answer was “we should have said that beforehand”. Two of the four meals were completely returned except for the tasting. When the waitress asked if everything was OK, we replied that unfortunately it didn't taste good at all. This was followed by a very rude and unprofessional comment. No offer, no apology and above all no insight. Unfortunately not recommended based on experience. July 19, 2024

For a really good price you can get incredibly tasty pizzas here. The ambience is beautiful and invites you to linger. I find the location particularly practical: it's a great place to take a break before diving into the hustle and bustle of shopping or to relax after an extensive shopping trip. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff is super friendly. I always like to come here because it is simply the perfect place to strengthen yourself and enjoy yourself.

It was a bit early and still quite empty and you are next to a busy road, but the pizza made up for everything! Delicious food and would definitely recommend! Friendly staff too and it was ready quickly.

Estuvimos aquí un lunes por la noche en abril y la zona comercial estaba bastante desierta, así que no tuvimos muchas opciones. Nos topamos con La Fontana y nos alegramos de haberlo hecho. Este es un restaurante italiano familiar desde 1986. Ofrecen platos italianos populares y un bar completo. También tienen un bonito escaparate de postres caseros. El servicio era bueno y no tuvimos quejas. Me gustó mucho la ensalada fresca!

We have celebrated my son’s 7th birthday here and had dinner with a bunch of kids as well as friends and family! We had an amazing time! The owner Santina went out of her way and made sure that all our guests needs were met- young and old! The food is always fresh and amazing so to no surprise it was delicious on the day of kiddos bday! They offer kids size pizza which is the perfect size for these little rascals! The spaghetti frutti di Mare is one of the best here! All waiters were extremely attentive and child friendly! This kid friendly atmosphere makes us wanna come back! It’s nice to see how the Italian culture celebrates good food, doesn’t mind happy (and sometimes loud) children and hospitality! Thank you for an unforgettable evening! We will be back soon!

Today I was on the street side of La Fontana and got a large piece of fungie pizza because I was very hungry and I have to say this piece of pizza filled me up and for €4.50 you can't complain It was damn tasty. I will stop there again and try something else from the menu

Excellent food, staff and atmosphere.

Four of us sat at a table of 2-3 and enjoyed different pizzas and appetizers. It took a while to get dessert. At the end of the evening we paid as we left the restaurant because no one asked anymore.

On the evening of April 2, 2024, around 8:45 p.m., a small hunger and desire for pizza spontaneously drove the two of us to LA FONTANA in Wolfsburg city, quite inconspicuous on the outside and, as we passed by, it looked more like a pizzeria with outside sales in the window, but then you could see the dining room light wood, wide window front and the counter/pizza ovens. We were immediately offered a table by the manager of the house, drinks were ordered and delivered quickly, food requests were taken and completed just as quickly, both pizzas were fresh, hot and delicious. The tapped cellar beer was also nice and cold, so far everything was fine. One point deduction, however, in that I don't know any other way (no matter where you go to an Italian restaurant in North Rhine-Westphalia) that at least before your meal you are given a basket of pizza rolls and a little garlic butter and you are also given it after your meal You will receive a small bargain after paying. In terms of expectations, I would have expected that, but it didn't happen and we didn't mention it. Otherwise, the staff was friendly and quick, the atmosphere was fine. Pizza Margerita 10 euros, Pizza Capricciosa 13.50 euros plus 1 euro for extra garlic. 50 cents more for a spoonful of garlic would do the trick. Oh well

I would like to give it more than 5 stars. It was super delicious. Four of us came spontaneously with strollers and unfortunately we hadn't made a reservation, so there was only one table available for 1 hour. But since we were there with our 1 year old, it wasn't a problem. Our waitress was so kind and helpful the whole time. The food was amazing. From the anti pasti platter (which is very, very rich ☺️) to bruschetta to our pizzas, everything is super delicious. The little one even got his food a little earlier so he didn't have to wait so long. If we are in Wolfsburg again we will definitely come back. Only this time reserve in advance 😉 Many thanks to the great team and the super friendly service 💕

It's small, but nice That's why you like to come here. I was there for the first time with my buddy on site. Everything is right and there was like in Nice a delicious mushroom pizza. The staff was nice, we were greeted in a friendly manner And our evening was sweetened with delicious food. A restaurant for all lovers of Bella Italian cuisine, simply worth mentioning If you eat at La Fontana you can't go wrong. Cheers to the food and the staff I wasn't here for the last time.

All the stars you can give for this great restaurant! Very tasty pizza and a reasonable size, top red wines (it's worth listening to the waiter's recommendation) and a very pleasant atmosphere. Staff also very friendly. The only drawback: a place is not easy to get, even during the week xD. Reservations recommended. The wait staff really tries hard to find a place. The small pizzeria at the end of the pedestrian zone is busy, but the service still has everything under control and comes across as very friendly. The food is good quality and plentiful. The atmosphere is a mix of snack bar and restaurant. Conclusion: recommended.

Man war sehr bemüht, aber das Essen hat uns nicht von Hocker gerissen (die Lasagne war okay, aber mehr auch nicht und die Miesmuscheln in Weißweinsauce (welche Soße? Wasser!) waren kurz vor mies. Der Sud fast geschmacklos, die Muscheln dadurch natürlich auch. Schade). Service - der Inhaber und seine Frau sehr freundlich, die Bedienung am Tisch ein bisschen zu sehr von ihrem künstlich erschaffenen Äußeren überzeugt und mit wenig Zeit für die Gäste. Bahnhofsambiente, leider, sehr schade.

Essen sehr lecker. Jedoch hätte ich mir gewünscht, dass vom Service noch nach weiteren Getränkewünschen gefragt wird oder aber nach dem Essen noch nach Dessert-, Kaffee-oder Digestivwünschen. Ab 20h wurde das Restaurant sehr schnell relativ leer, aber vom Personal sah man niemanden. 15 Minuten nachdem wir uns zum zahlen entschlossen hatten, sah man jemanden, dem man ein Zeichen geben konnte. Sonst hätten wir uns auf die Suche machen müssen, um die Rechnung zu zahlen.

Beide Hauptgerichte waren unheimlich lecker. Bruschetta als Vorspeise in Ordnung und die Nachspeise einfach himmlisch. Mein Mann hatte Spaghetti frutti di mare und ich Ravioli mit Kürbis und Amarettososse.

Das La Fontana hat ein tolles Ambiente, die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich, das Essen ist sehr gut, also nur zu empfehlen
