We ended up here looking for a restaurant in the pedestrian zone because of the good reviews. The food was good, but we had to wait 30 minutes. The ambience is actually nice and quiet, but there is currently a construction site there. It is still highly recommended as the service was very friendly!

Just 10m away in a side street of the shopping mile you can escape the noisy crowd and enjoy very good Italian food. Both the pizza and the pasta taste wonderfully Italian and homemade. The non-alcoholic cocktail, a hot espresso and the free limoncello round off the experience. Although a large construction site (wooden wall) is currently being built in front of the restaurant, you can sit in the restaurant very well and treat yourself to a break from the hustle and bustle of Munich.

Close, street very quiet. In the evening you can also have the windows open, so the temperature is good. Restaurant very clean. Staff very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Food also came very quickly, well organized kitchen. Food was very great! One serving fills you up well and isn't too much if you're a little hungry.

Nice bruschetta! Even better pizzas! Tiramisu of the house and nice staff. We would really recommend this place! Have a great meal.

I came here by chance because I was looking for a restaurant nearby. Great review, so I picked this one up. A bit out of the way on a side street, I just popped in. I then bought bruschetta and a pizza, probably one of the best pizzas I've eaten so far. For starter + main course + drink €24, that's absolutely fine. Absolutely recommended, gladly again!

Amazing restaurant, possibly one of the best I’ve been to (I’ve been to a lot of restaurants) with good atmosphere and lighting. The food was excellent and tasteful, wishing I had room for more. The service was impeccable, with our server Costa being very helpful and very pleasant, a pleasure to talk to! Overall a fantastic place with Costa being a credit to the restaurant. Would definitely go again.

A little hidden in a side street. Small but nice! Nice service, great pizza, prices absolutely okay for the city center location.

Slow and inattentive service: only 3 tables were busy at the time, waiter was standing behind the bar, eating and checking his phone all the time. Food below average: spaghetti carbonara arrived to the table lukewarm and dry. Pizza looked and tastes like Dr. Oetker frozen pizza - nothing to do with authentic Italian.

Very disappointing. Very mediocre food, offhand service, dingy decor. We had an unimaginative salad with some OK mushrooms on top, and spaghetti with a few small pieces of prawn and a sauce that tasted out of a packet.

Great authentic Italian food! We had starters, pizza, main course: fantastic, very well crafted and the best taste. Currently a bit handicapped by the construction site next door, but that is more than made up for by the ambience and friendly service.

I can't agree with the previous reviews. The service during our visit was subpar. Complete disinterest and bad mood. The food was ok, but nothing more. The pizza dough was limp and not baked well. The beer was the best of our visit. Nobody can do anything about the construction site in front of the restaurant, but the service can still be improved.

The main course was excellent in terms of taste for me (tagliatoni with truffles and lamb chops), but why the meal still gets two stars off from me is, firstly, that the portion is really small and the proportion of truffles and lamb was also quite small. Secondly, €22 is really hard for this. The small mixed salad was also poor and a chunk for around €5.40. The irony here is that side salads weren't even on the menu...(only main dishes as a salad) but I had to ask for them!(Probably the price for Munich...). It should also be noted that the ambience is fine (it seemed clean and tidy), but the huge construction site next door and the fact that THE SAME SONG WAS PLAYING CONTINUOUSLY don't make it any better. The service, however, was courteous and attentive. Dessert was even on the house.

Of the four dishes we asked for only one was outstanding. The rest were okish. The problem with this restaurant is that it is an absolutely hidden place so unless you have Google maps or have this spot already on your radar, it will be very difficult to cross by it. Price was ok.

We were looked after very kindly and competently from start to finish by the entire Il Sogno team :) we are extremely happy with our experience there and couldn't have imagined our celebration to be more beautiful. The staff and the boss, Ms. Gaiduk, were always extremely nice, courteous and hard-working and the food was very tasty. Wir wurden von Anfang bis Ende vollends super lieb und kompetent betreut von dem ganzen Il Sogno Team :) wir sind extrem glücklich mit unserer Erfahrung dort und hätten uns unsere Feier nicht schöner vorstellen können. Das Personal und die Chefin Frau Gaiduk waren stets extrem nett, zuvorkommend und bemüht und das Essen war sehr lecker. I have no idea why this store has so many good reviews. This shop is a snack bar that tries to be Italian. They serve frozen pizzas where the crust is hard as a rock and the dough wasn't cooked through.

It was is hidden in an ally but you should have a try as the food is delicious and very tasty , the service is great specially from Costa.

Atmospheric restaurant, I recommend the starters, the cold meat plate. I don't recommend the carpaccio, I don't know what kind of cheese it is, the pizza is weak.

Very nice waiter, we were greeted nicely and escorted to our table. We also had a nice candle lit there. The food came relatively quickly and my pasta was perfectly cooked. The atmosphere is very cozy and nice.

My lasagna was really small and unfortunately quite unappetizing. This restaurant visit wasn't worth the money at all, despite the small portions I left half of it, even though I can actually eat everything. I at least question the authenticity of the positive reviews. There have long been numerous agencies whose writers write such comments individually in order to suggest the highest possible level of credibility. Everyone can decide for themselves

Great surprise discovered by chance in the middle of Munich. Food was very good and plentiful. It's right in the passage to the DM. So if you don't like "drafts", you should go in, although it is very cozy here. Clean toilets. Would go again and try other dishes

We had planned a romantic dinner but when we came to this place we were shocked. We were the only guests, and then we realized why. We ordered cream of mushroom soup but it was just disgusting. The consistency was barely creamy and the taste was barely mushroomy. We will never come back here again

Read the negative reviews. It's absolutely true. We arrived for our reservation 1 minute (yes 1 min) late due to the train being late by 4 mins. They gave our table away to walk-in due to arriving 1 minute late. "They stated we didn't have a reservation, and that's impossible". Very rude about it and they do not do reservations like most others places. You simply get to the back of the line, to other reservations, open table and walk-ins. Save you time and money. Don't support these people.

I was here last Saturday. Unfortunately, neither the pizza nor the spaghetti carbonara met Google Maps' 4.4-star rating. In my opinion, this place deserves a 3.6. My friends, however, say that the saffron pasta dish wasn't bad.

Cheap meal when comparing to the rest of Munich. The service was great, even with a complimentary limoncello. The food was lacking a bit of Italy in it, yet it was a great evening!

grade 10! Admiring the center of MarienPlatz, I was very attracted by this superb restuarant. Ever since we took our first steps, a very kind gentleman (later we found out that he is the manager of the place) welcomed us very warmly and did not host us at the table. From the first suggestions of the gentleman, he whetted our appetite. A very diverse, well-planned menu. Super tasty and hot food, the rainbow of taste buds in a word! Congratulations grade 10! I can't wait to come back!

I can only warn you about this restaurant! I had dinner there with a colleague during the week. He had a lasagna and I had a salami pizza. The pizza was ok, I can't complain too much. It didn't have a great edge and such, but it wasn't dripping with fat and that's better, like in many kebab shops and such. But she wasn't any better. But the annoying thing was my colleague's lasagne: a tiny piece. To get full normally, you would need at least 2-3 of them. You could also clearly see that the piece had already been warmed up beforehand and then just a little cheese was sprinkled on it and heated slightly. The new cheese wasn't even completely melted yet. My colleague also said that one side was warm and the other was still cold. So probably heated in the microwave. So overall it's definitely not okay. The icing on the cake was paying. We were asked to please pay in cash, which would also be common practice in all restaurants in the area. We could have done that, but I would rather not offer the option of being able to evade taxes more easily. Not that I want to imply anything about it... But you do have some thoughts. 😉 I totally regret that we didn't take a photo of the lasagna... 😕 But overall, I would advise everyone: just try another restaurant nearby.

I don't understand the good reviews. The pizza is neither well topped nor is the dough thin or the edge crispy. The pizzas appeared to have been prepared some time ago (dough + tomato sauce) and then carelessly topped. They also came from pizza pans, as is typical in the USA. Unfortunately it was a real disappointment, we stopped eating after half a pizza each...

We were looking for a place to eat and were so happy to have found this great place. Our 2 pizzas weren't good, they were outstanding. Really like you know a pizza. Wow wow wow.

We wanted to pay with card but the waiter said that he had many clients who paid with card and he does not want to get any more card payments. Even though there was a working pos machine I needed go out, collect money from an atm and come back to pay. A very weird experience…

Wir haben uns am 13.12.2023, aufgrund der Bewertungen, spontan in das Restaurant leiten lassen. Ambiente war okay, wurden anfangs auch nett begrüßt und die Bestellung ging auch zügig. Bestellt wurden folgende Gerichte: 1. Pasta mit Gambaretti und Zucchini in Safransauce 2. Tagliolini mit Trüffel beide Gerichte kamen relativ flott und zeitgleich - jedoch mussten wir bei beiden Gerichten feststellen, dass die Saucen kalt waren. Daraufhin habe ich den Kellner/Chef angesprochen und im dies mitgeteilt. Laut seiner Reaktion hat es ihn nicht interessiert. Es gab auch kein Entgegenkommen im Sinne von: 1. Gericht neu machen 2. Preisnachlass wir haben nur ein komischen Gesichtszug bekommen und das war’s. Wir können das Restaurant definitiv nicht weiterempfehlen!

Auf der Suche nach einem Restaurant sind wir per Zufall in diesem gelandet. Wir hatten Glück, dass wir einen Tisch ohne Reservation ergattern konnten, da ein Pärchen gemeint hatte, sie gehen gleich und wir könnten ihren Tisch gleich nehmen - tolles timing. Da nach uns sehr viele abgeblitz sind ohne Reservation. Der Service war sehr freundlich mit uns und hat auch immer wieder mit den Kindern gescherzt. Eir hatten 3 Pizzen und einmal Nudeln mit Fisch. Essen war lecker und den Kids hats geschmeckt. Preislich würde ich sagen Durchschnitt für München. Verwundert hat mich nur, dass der Kellner uns gebeten hat bar zu zahlen. Ansonsten ist es Nahe am Stachus in einer Seitengasse gelegen.

Pizza Salami sowie Pizza Il Sogno sind beide super. Nette Bedienung und alles inklusive der Toiletten sauber. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist für die Lage sehr gut. Für die 5 Sterne fehlt es an Besonderheiten. Die Inneneinrichtung ist gepflegt und ausreichend, aber macht nicht viel her.

Great small Italian restaurant in downtown Munich! I tried the lamb with truffles and pasta - amazing taste! Do make a reservation- the place fills pretty fast.

Absolutely fabulous food and friendly service. The minestrone was one of the best we have had - the veggies were fresh and delicious. The sea bass was perfectly cooked and prepared at our table. We also had a tagliolini with truffles - the pasta was perfectly al dente and the truffles were present and generous. Highly recommended.
