Price-performance ratio fits very well

I have been here several times, manly for a fast lunch. I’ve tried their pizza and pasta and it’s always excellent. Super nice and very friendly service every time. The prices are not on the high side. The atmosphere is nice and cozy. Definitely will be back.

Everything is excellent but I didn't like that the evening I paid for a small bottle of water with my card they charged me €6.70. The next evening they asked me if I was paying by cash or card, to my reply 'cash' the same bottle of water cost €3.00 less. It's not honest

I ordered the spaghetti Bolognese. It was perfectly cooked with generous portions and a rich, flavorful sauce. It’s an authentic Italian experience that leaves you full and satisfied for a reasonable price. Definitely a must-try for pasta lovers!

OMG - I found out today that Pasta e Basta is closing its doors on December 21st, 2024. 😢 😫😵 I am shocked and very sad; once again one less institution in Munich. 😧 Thanks for all these years of great service with great food and great value for money. Grazie a tutti 😘

An authentic Italian restaurant. Everything is very tasty and reasonable prices affordable for everyone.

We like the shop and also the waiters, today was a bit strange. We had a good evening, tipped over 10% but stayed seated longer. We paid before we finished drinking and sat for another half hour. The waiter always looked very funny. I think because we sat longer even though we had paid, but I hadn't finished drinking either. As we walked off and said goodbye with "Ciao," the waiter looked at us and then muttered insults in Italian. We were both shocked because we realized that these were probably aimed at us. It was the waiter in the middle area. It's actually a great shop and we've actually been enjoying coming here for years, but that was tough...sorry

The food was good , at the end the waiter didnt want 1,5 Euro tips , he wants more and finds out multiple excuses to not give me my change, like he doesn't have change and then the only change he found was only 2 EUR. Really embarrassing

We were here at lunchtime and were served very friendly. The service is great. Unfortunately, the main course came (virtually) at the same time as the starter, so that should have been timed a little better. Generally we only had to wait about 5 minutes for the food after ordering. The taste was good, we'll be back!

Was closed. Eat pizza there. The bruschetta as a starter was okay, but it could have been presented better. Unfortunately, the ham pizza wasn't that good, I would have expected a pizza with more love and taste from an Italian restaurant. The tiramisu at the end was good, definitely homemade, but would have liked a larger piece. In general I felt like I was being mass processed. The starter and main course were eaten within 20 minutes, you would like to slow down a bit. The waiter came every 5 minutes and after paying we were indirectly thrown out by putting the reserved sign on the table and the waiter asked if we wanted anything else.

Italian service super nice and very tasty at fair prices

A solid gastronomic experience in a nice atmosphere at a fair price? The food came quickly. The pasta was aldente with a fair portion and overall the restaurant had a homely atmosphere. Wonderful if you just want to go out for something to eat. Not too chic but not curry sausage fries either. The only thing that was missing was the depth of taste in the Ragout al Bolognese and the service seemed to me to have one foot in the works. Nevertheless - you go home satisfied. Gladly again

The pizza is below average. Weird dough, maybe ready-made dough. Price performance is therefore not right at all. The staff is nice.

The food was good, the atmosphere was really pleasant, the room was large and the bathroom was very clean and comfortable. The waiters were really nice and kind, I recommend it

The restaurant has been here in Munich for around 20 years, it is always well attended and has many regular guests. I was here for the first time today and was only moderately enthusiastic. There were (for whatever reason) various frozen shrimp floating in the thin pumpkin soup, which didn't add anything to the taste. The Carbonara is seriously prepared with cream, the Bolognese had hardly any meat and was rather bland. The pizza was quite good, as was the bread and coffee. All in all, it's rather disappointing, especially when you consider the number of good Italian restaurants here.

Super tasty food at a very fair price

A great restaurant if you want good, cheap dishes and lots of conviviality. The pizza is particularly recommended. Just like the panna cotta.

Absolutely amazing food & service. Very nice and efficient Service, we were there at peak hours on a Friday night and the 3 waiters worked hand in hand very professional. Again very busy and still the food came out pretty fast. But then quality was very high, perfect seasoning. Pizza two Italian thin crust. Over 20 Pastas to choose from over 17 Piazza's and modifications where also no problem at all... Everything served with a smile. Great price/value! Highly recommendable

Excellent food at fair prices. The waiter was extremely courteous and friendly. Extra consideration was given to the children. Family-friendliness is still very important here, which is unfortunately not a given. I think we'll come back tomorrow. Until then

We ate delicious pizza and pasta and were served a good bottle of wine.

We will never return again, we were scammed! The price of your dinner was 69€ and they charged us 76€, which means 7€ of tip without consent! They tipped themselves without asking and they didn’t deserve it, the waiter was so angry and stressed the whole dinner. We realized this too late, they really played with us. Be careful!

Great food, fair prices, easy to reach. We were here with a reservation and it worked out great despite only 30 minutes notice. We were served very friendly and quickly, the food was very tasty and the spaghetti carbonara (our reference dish) was also extremely good, with good ham and sauce. Simply very good. You basically fall out of the subway into the restaurant, nothing more is possible. Thank you.

We ordered bruschetta as a starter, which was ok, and carbonara and spaghetti with shrimp and tomato sauce as main courses. Nothing exceptional... the shrimp looked like baby shrimp and the garlic was still raw, as was the bacon in the carbonara.

The food was very good, although the carbonara was a little salty, but that's not a problem! :) I just felt a lot of pressure when ordering, in less than 5 minutes the waiter came 3 times to ask what we wanted to order, while we were still looking at the menu... But the food was very good, it came quickly and hot.

This is our new favorite place for Italian food :)

Good Italian restaurant with a variety of pasta on offer. The dessert and their own lemonade are also very tasty. Ambience is rather old and rustic.

Unfortunately we can't say anything about the food but six of us were turned away because apparently nothing was available. After several questions and suggestions about putting tables together, we were just insulted and sent away.

Worst pizza of my life. Unfortunately the Quattro Formaggi didn't taste like anything. I tried my best with salt and pepper... very unfortunate

They did their best to meet all our requests. The prices are quite reasonable compared to the quality. Delicious Italian pasta. Fast service and debonair waiters. Toilets are clean but smell a bit. I ate gnocchi with spinach, white cheese and tomato sauce which is very similar to delicous Turkish salca.

I was in Munich with my family this July and we had dinner at Pasta e Basta on 3 of the 4 nights of our trip. Excellent food with fresh and tasty ingredients; excellent service thanks to friendly and attentive waiters; and a very cozy atmosphere, not to mention being very close to the subway. Congratulations to Pasta e Basta!

Good quality Italian food considering it is in Germany. The only note is that the post is a little overcooked but it is certainly made to match local tastes.

Food top. Taste OK. Service is very Italian and reminds me of restaurants in tourist places in Italy: rather cold. Conclusion: you can eat. Maybe the food is delivered? Would suit me better.

It's a nice Italian place right in the center of the city. I loved the ambience and the service provided was great. I ordered myself a pasta vegetariana. The pasta was cooked well with vegetables but the overall taste of the dish was a bit bland for me. I asked for some chilli flakes and it was perfect for me with it (I like my food a bit spicy). The portion itself was very good and worth the price we pay. I didn't try the pizza here. I'll update it here the next time I go back! If you're in the area and are looking for an Italian place, I recommend you try out Pasta e Basta!

The food was fantastic and the price was more than acceptable for Munich 😊 I had the linguini with salmon zucchini and lemon cream sauce. Polite waiters and nice restaurant. I can highly recommend it. Pouring beer still needs practice 😉

Average Italian, unfortunately the cutlery was cleaned and thrown into baskets during the meal, very loud, you don't do that in front of guests.

Good and delicious food! A very attentive service that is also happy to respond to additional requests. The price-performance ratio is absolutely right. It can be a bit noisy at times, but Pasta e basta is definitely worth a visit.
