The food was delicious, we felt very good.

It was our first time there and it blew us away. The atmosphere is a dream, the staff is super friendly and the food tastes excellent. We will definitely come by more often.

I wanted to reserve a table today, August 28th, 24. The owner then said that he doesn't reserve in advance, he only accepts reservations 14 days in advance and he asks for a deposit of 150 euros because many guests cancel. I told him that I won't pay and said to him the guest is king, he will do as he pleases, then he shouted at me and threw me out of the restaurant Very very unpleasant owner

This gastronomical experience was amazing the owner was so bubbly and very kind and provides an intimate dining atmosphere that will have you feeling like you are right in Italy. And as a foodie the grigliata mista de pesce and the tiramisu is a must 😍😍

I can only confirm the negative reviews. I have never experienced anything so unfriendly. As soon as we arrived, he was screaming at his guests on the phone. Then he yelled at us and told us several times that he didn't have to work anymore and that he didn't have his guests anymore would have to operate. Then why do you still run a restaurant? We then left because we hadn't ordered anything yet and he was getting louder and louder. Instead of letting us go without comment, he shouts after us. Embarrassing... instead of taking care of your other guests and avoiding such a circus. The restaurant still has its good reputation from before but that is long gone.

After I tried to cancel my reservation, I was told, "You don't need to call about that, you won't get a reservation in the future." I'm glad I didn't eat there. I really don't need such unfriendly staff.

I would like to give 0 stars! Today I made a reservation for two in my name and had to cancel 1 1/2 hours before the reservation due to health reasons. A very unfriendly Italian shouted at me and claimed that someone had already called and canceled because we would rather go to the beer garden. We should never make another reservation again because we would no longer get a table in this restaurant. I had absolutely no way of explaining to him that it was a misunderstanding and that no one else was calling because he just hung up. So I called again to clarify the misunderstanding. He yelled at me again that he didn't have time for me, he had to work and told me again about the caller who had apparently already canceled and just hung up again! I've really never experienced anything like that in my life!!! Absolutely unfriendly, unprofessional and disrespectful!

I accidentally reserved a table and politely called 15 minutes later to cancel the reservation. The landlord reacted unprofessionally and said we would never get a table again. This reaction was disappointing and unfriendly. That's why I can't recommend this restaurant.

We are regularly in Italy, Of course we tried all sorts of dishes there. With Fausto in Munich, you quickly feel like you're on vacation. We were there today and we all had a really good time. From starter to desert. The in-house tiramisu (without alcohol) is also suitable for children, a poem. We will stop there more often, even if we are not from Munich! Thanks to the team

Great ambience, average food & incredibly unfriendly service. The service was unfriendly & it felt like every question was too much. The owner initially assumed that his words were meant to be funny (sarcastic), but by the end of the evening it became clear that this was not the case. Rarely experienced something like that. We were basically told we should have left long ago. Drink was spilled and despite promises to bring a new one, none was brought. The table was also wet and this was not wiped up either. The first & last time! How you can keep a restaurant running with such an attitude amazes me.

On the last day of a business trip near the accommodation, I visited at the recommendation of my companions for Italian food. First of all, I highly recommend it. If you want authentic Italian food, be sure to visit. I especially enjoyed the meal because the owner was very passionate about golf and witty. From South Korea

Italian pasta and vongole are recognized as the best for their nutty flavor and richness. The meat is lightly seasoned so the quantity is a bit lacking^^~ The owner of the restaurant was serious about golf, and the flag he got from watching famous golf tournaments around the world was impressive, with autographs and photos of famous players. Jokes that convey memories and life wisdom to guests are the best. If I come to Munich again, it is to see Mr. Boss.

Family run Italian restaurant with excellent pasta dishes, wonderful bruschetta & tasty desserts. The atmosphere is like visiting Italy, you feel like you are there. The family Servers were efficient, fun & outspoken. We had a very pleasant evening.

Today I tried to reserve a table for a business lunch for eight people. I was told on the phone that I should transfer 200 euros (!!!) in advance to get the reservation. The reason is that so many people make reservations and then cancel at short notice. When I objected that I couldn't advance this privately because of the business occasion, I was told quite clearly that I wouldn't be able to eat at Da Fausto either and then hung up on me. I have never experienced such impudence! Incredible!

English menu helped. We were waited on by owner this is a hands on caring guy. The Lasagna was made with beef and veal much higher quality than the usual pork.

The Da Fausto restaurant is a very interesting and beautifully decorated restaurant run by the owners. It has an impressive guest list and the gallery on the way down to the basement is a real eye-catcher. The food is authentically Italian and offers exactly what you would expect from an Italian restaurant.

The three of us were just about to eat pizza there. The owner was not at all happy that my girlfriend and I wanted to share a pizza and therefore only ordered two pizzas in total. kicked us out. There were 2 tables with guests at lunchtime. I'm not surprised if you understand so little about service. good luck there Fausto! edit: 1. If you don't know your own prices and claim that 2 pizzas don't cost 15 euros, then you can't be helped anymore. 2. Sometimes two people just aren't that hungry, so they like to share a pizza. I hope enough people read your answer and prefer to eat at Marienplatz by the cathedral, you crazy clown. Here is the first answer from the owner: "If the three of you don't have 15 euros in your pocket and you want three people to eat two pizzas without drinking, you can't go to McDonald's!! Because it's even more expensive there than here!! You can at Marienplatz in the cathedral eat for free!!

I asked locally for a reservation for 8 people for a week. I was dragged into the kitchen to see a cook, a pizza maker and a dishwasher and then told that it was not possible to cook for 8 people and get a table. I was then very rudely complimented. Extremely unfriendly, there could be another way.

It took a very long time for food to arrive. My pizza was decent but not spectacular.

Even though we hadn't reserved in advance, we still got a very nice table. The owner himself welcomes most guests personally and accompanies the guest to his table. The entire staff (family) is very friendly. The restaurant is very cozy and immediately reminds you of Italy thanks to the ceiling paintings. The food was typically Italian and extremely tasty. Price/performance is absolutely appropriate. Trattoria Da Fausto is 100% recommended. When we are in Munich again, we will definitely make a reservation there. Thank you for a lovely evening!

Even at short notice, the patron strives to fulfill every wish of his guests, even if it threatens to exceed the capacity of his kitchen. I ate delicious tagliatelle with duck breast here and one of the best chocolate mousse ever. Italian-style jokes are very popular and other guests are often included and it's a great atmosphere here!

We wanted to reserve a table for 7 people by phone for Friday evening. According to the operator, you can only reserve a table if you pay a deposit of €100 and provide your credit card number. We are talking about a table reservation on a normal Friday, not a New Year's Eve where a deposit would be justified. This is how you scare away your “guests”. It's lucky we didn't visit this restaurant.

Everything was fine but the bruschetta which was served on a plate with a paper was unfortunately not that good. You don't have to eat the paper with you :) please get rid of it. :) my opinion the boss was friendly and so were the employees.

Absolutely exceptional. We were visiting from England and arrived without a reservation, but were made to feel very welcome by the owner who even moved his things from a table he was working on fit us in. The food was superb, the service was exceptional and atmosphere lovely. Highly recommended- expecially the award winning tiramisu !

Essen war super und der Besitzer des Restaurant war sehr sympathisch. Die Dame die uns bedient hat, hat klar Ihren Beruf verfehlt und hat nichts im Service verloren. Uns wurden die Gläser weggenommen obwohl wir noch gerne etwas gut trinken bestellt hätten. Ebenfalls hätten wir gerne ein Dessert bestellt, auch hier wurden wir nie gefragt und man hat uns mehr das Gefühl gegeben, als wären wir nicht erwünscht gewesen. Schade!

Das italienische Restaurant Da Fausto im Münchner Norden bietet eine authentische Atmosphäre und wird von einem echten Italiener geführt. Die Einrichtung, insbesondere die "bewachsene" Decke, schafft eine angenehme Stimmung. Die Lage ist bequem mit der U-Bahn erreichbar, und Parkplätze sind in den Nebenstraßen verfügbar. Das Essen war eine gemischte Erfahrung – die Lasagne war nicht überragend, aber auch nicht schlecht, während die Pizza ganz gut war. Leider trübt der Service und die Freundlichkeit das Gesamtbild. Die anfängliche Diskussion aufgrund der laktosefreien Bestellung wirkte wenig kundenorientiert. Die zeitliche Begrenzung des Tisches bis 20:15 Uhr wurde von Anfang an klar kommuniziert, doch bereits ab 19 Uhr erfolgte keine weitere Bedienung mehr. Die Nachspeise, die wir nicht mehr bestellen konnten und die fehlenden Getränke sowie das Ignorieren beim Versuch die Rechnung zu erhalten um 20 Uhr führten zu Frustration bei uns. Um 20.45 hat sich der italienische Chef wegen neuer wartender Gäste bei uns laut beschwert, dass wir immer noch da sitzen… Dies erschien uns als unangemessenes Verhalten und beeinträchtigte die Gesamterfahrung negativ.

Great dinner all around. We were warmly greeted by Fausto at the front door. He showed up to our table. The ambience is chic mix of their taste and enjoyment for traveling, golf, and literature. For dinner, we had the spaghetti carbonara, lasagna, and veal Alla Romana. All three dish were delicious, although our favorites were both the carbonara and lasagna. Stayed briefly for a digestive limoncello. All around a Superb meal.

I was here on a recent trip to München, I am currently learning German & the staff at the restaurant were very accommodating of my early deutsch progress! More importantly though, the venue, atmosphere & food were all absolutely outstanding & for anyone wanting authentic Italian food in München, this is the place to go. I had the spaghetti bolognaise, followed by the best tiramisu cake I’ve ever had. Will definitely be returning on my next visit in February!

Wir waren mit einem bekannten vorm Champions League Spiel vom FC Bayern dort essen. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön und das Essen war ein Traum.Der Eigentümer sehr nett auf seine Art. Ich kann dieses Restaurant sehr empfehlen.
