The food was good and tasted authentic. But the service was terrible. The waiters had some attitude, they were extremely rushed as if they had some other place to go. They rattled off some information on the drinks and specials and couldn’t wait two seconds for us to make up our minds. Our drinks arrived after we finished our foods. Generally rude and grumpy and not worth coming here again

Went there for Dinner and not sure why but got imo the best outdoor table. But never have been to this place before. I loved the food (Pasta), the wine and the service. Will definitely go there again. Important to know is that they have to close the outdoor terrace at 22.00.

Dear Lunico team, For the most part the shop is a good Italian restaurant. However there is a problem with the pizza. The dough is not done. Disaster I threw up several times after eating these. Otherwise everything is okay

The atmosphere is very nice and cozy. The service was super accommodating, nice and personable. The price of the food is not in proportion to what you get and you should make the guest aware of the prices if you order a dish off the menu or on the recommendation of the waiter.

Outdoor opening in Westend🚀💯 Clientele matching the address, but the cartridge makes no difference. As first-time visitors, we were treated like permanent guests. Super friendly staff with turbo service when the place is full💪 Aperol S. and rose prosecco as an aperetivo, ice cold and excellent in taste, were at the table in a hurry.👍 Pasta Calabrese, tuna tartare and a tomato soup were excellent entrees. Topped with the main courses of grilled sole, sea bream with seafood, pasta arrabiata with crayfish and a sensational tagliata on rocket and parmesan. Plus top vegetables and potatoes to the point🫠 After 2 bottles of Bianco (Arneis and Catarrato), the dessert menu should finally be put on the table. Here too, the finest cuisine. The chocolate cake with a hot center, the creme brulee and the zabaglione, simply divine. It was kindly pointed out that the outdoor area would be closed at 10:15 p.m. and that you could go to the ristorante. Said and done. Cozy chill table for 4, reds to finish off and a degistiv on the house, we rolled home shortly after midnight, completely satisfied. Strong appearance. ❤️🥰🇮🇹

This place is fabulous. Great customer service, a quaint and comfortable outdoor seating option, dog friendly and amazing food. We also got a bottle of white wine which was a great liaising as well. My pasta was so yummy along with the calamari and the desserts!! I’d definitely come back to this place next time I’m in Frankfurt.

The restaurant is within easy reach of the palm garden. The service is very nice and they want to avoid food being thrown away. Not every restaurant can say that! It is beautifully designed both inside and outside and you get free bread at the beginning of every visit. The drinks arrive quickly and the food didn't take long to arrive either. For example, I had a pizza and it was the best in a long time! Overall this restaurant is a 10 out of 10!

Food is quite decent, while the service was not. Staff was arrogant and cold. Even forced me to add service tips after dinner.

The atmosphere was very nice, and the food generally tasted good. However, the lasagna was excessively salty. Overall, it was a good experience, but considering the price point, I would have expected more, especially since the desserts were quite disappointing. One extra star for the cute dog!

L’Unico, my favorite Italian restaurant in Frankfurt, impresses with excellent service, quick service and a pleasant atmosphere. The truffle pasta and the carpaccio are my personal absolute highlights – I enjoy them regularly. A culinary experience that impresses in every respect!

Very nice Italian restaurant, with Italian staff. Good food, pizzas look good but I had a spaghetti which was very good, and on another occasion a lemon risotto which was... strange. I mean, it tasted well enough, but the consistency was not at all what I'm used to, so I can't honestly say it was good. On one of the occasions I went there, it was full and they recommended to sit on the wine bar which is next door and also belongs to L'Unnico, where we ordered from the same menu. So you have that option, but I warn you to check the tab before paying, as there may be some surcharge. Dogs are allowed, with Charlie being the perfect ambassador to the place, a very good boy indeed!

Food comes bit by bit, the main course is cold before the side dishes are served. The noodles are mushy. Not recommended...

I can recommend this pizzeria in the Westend in Frankfurt am Main with a very clear conscience! Very tasteful decor, nice staff and the tuna pizza was really great! Great taste!

One of the best Italian restaurants in Frankfurt, and arguably one of the best I’ve been to. The pizzas are a delicacy, and the hospitality was over the top. Would definitely recommend.

A very real, cozy place in the middle of the classy Westend. The host welcomes you personally and advises you on the selection of (delicious) Italian dishes. When it's full, it can actually get (too) loud due to the narrow space, but it doesn't detract from the experience. The atmosphere seems familiar and quite upscale. A lovely meeting point in Frankfurt.

Great food and very nice staff. Dogs are allowed and are also super dog-friendly and a super nice welcome dog :) The mixed antipasta was very tasty and especially the beef fillet with the onions from Tropea was simply spectacular

Don't really know where to start 🙈 the waitresses are typically Italian, quite friendly, but something between pushy (with drinks) and forgetful (also with drinks). The room is “creatively” designed, but you can’t see any common thread in the decoration concept and it looks quite old-fashioned. Unfortunately, the seating is much too cramped, at least in our case the space was planned very sportily for the number of people. The food was absolutely average, sometimes just “okay” (everything tasted barely seasoned) - but the prices were extremely high. The price-performance ratio here is not right for me at all. You almost feel ripped off… overall, no recommendation.

The ambience is really very nice. However, too much is squeezed into this ambience at tables. So it gets really loud and very busy. The service staff try to cover everything with friendliness, but they are a bit understaffed. The food is really delicious. However, I didn't quite understand why I asked for vegan main courses a week before and then two dishes were offered for that evening and then they simply weren't available. So I would summarize: delicious food, nice atmosphere, poor organization.

Typisch italienisch, Chef nimmt sich Zeit für Weinempfehlungen und im voll besetzten Restaurant läuft alles perfekt organisiert. Sehr freundlich und alles lecker. Gerne wieder.

I went in early as I was staying at the hotel next door. They don’t serve food and said it was good. I was actually upset when I left and the reason as a single, business traveler I opt for room service. The restaurant was not full, I Appologied (in a business district) for not being able to speak the local language. I was ushered out by my elbow.

Leckeres Essen, auf Sonderwünsche (vegan) wird sehr gut eingegangen. Service sehr schnell und zuvorkommend. Besonders die Sciacciata lieben wir! Komme sehr gerne wieder.

Der Pulpo als Vorspeise war genial. Spagetti Vongole leider versalzen und die Pizza für meinen Geschmack mit zu viel Käse.

Das Ambiente in dem italienischen Restaurant gefällt uns sehr gut. Man kann auch schön auf der überdachten Terrasse sitzen. Wir haben verschiedene selbstgemachte Pasta gegessen. Die Nudelgerichte waren schmackhaft, jedoch nicht herausragend. Unser Provinzitaliener zaubert raffinierte Kreationen. Die Portionen waren nicht besonders groß, gut, dass zum Essen noch Brot gereicht wurde. Ein Glas Primitivo oder Nero d' Avila schlägt mit 9,50€ zu Buche. Das Personal war freundlich, aber das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht.

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch (large bowl of soup and large plate of salad). Everything we ate was superb. The service was also excellent. Our only suggestion is they should upgrade their menus to accommodate English speaking tourists. We would likely have ordered more food but we had no idea what the food descriptions meant.

Sehr leckeres Essen, schönes Ambiente, guter Service, trotzdem nur 3 Sterne. Warum? Einfach erklärt: Ein Colaweizen (0,5 Liter) sollte keine 9,50 € kosten, tut es aber leider. Es ist wirklich frech, für ein 0,5er Weizen 5 € zu berechnen und zusätzlich nochmal 4,50 € für eine 0,33er Cola. Nach Erhalt der Rechnung und anschließender Nachfrage beim Servicepersonal wurde uns die Richtigkeit dieser Posten bestätigt. Das haben wir so noch nirgends erlebt, dass für ein Bier-Mischgetränk die beiden Komponenten Bier und Cola einzeln berechnet werden. Eine bepreiste Getränkekarte gab es ja leider nicht, nur eine Speisekarte. Diese Taktik sollte unbedingt und dringend überdacht werden.

Ein Sommerabend auf der Terrasse des L"Unico. Wir waren zum ersten Mal da und sind bei der Bestellung der Hauptgänge den Empfehlungen des Chefs gefolgt. Ich liebe Steinpilze und war hochbeglückt, dass es eine Pasta porcini gab. Die Pasta war ausgezeichnet. Jeder war vollkommen zufrieden mit der Auswahl. Der Service war aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder, denn da wäre noch die Trüffelpasta, die es zu probieren gilt.

Sehr zuvorkommender Service, die hausgemachte Pasta war überragend und das Dessert war auch köstlich. Ein lohnenswerter Zufallsbesuch!

Leider nicht gerade sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und serviceorientiert. Wir waren das erste Mal dort und wurden nicht gerade gastfreundlich behandelt, man hatte schnell das Gefühl, dass die Servicemitarbeiter eher genervt waren. Man hat uns auch schnell ‚abgespeist‘, sehr Fließbandatmosphäre (ich war noch nicht mit dem Essen fertig, und mir wurde einfach der Teller weggezogen). Wir haben uns extra einen Schattenplatz gesucht, jedoch wurde -als die meisten Gäste am Gehen waren- die Markise eingefahren, so, dass wir in praller Mittagssonne saßen. Wir baten die Markise wieder auszufahren (wir wollten wenigstens aufessen), was sie dann auch taten. Jedoch haben sie diese nach 5 Minuten wieder ein gefahren, unverständlich und unverschämt! Ich arbeite selbst in einem Serviceberuf, und kann sagen, ich habe mich noch nie so unwohl, ungewollt in einem Restaurant gefühlt! Mehr Schein als Sein, wahrscheinlich können sie es sich ,rausnehmen‘. Schade!

Heel erg lekker gegeten. Mooie menu suggesties. Goede kwaliteit. Heerlijke wijn. Klantvriendelijk. We komen zeker terug.

Boa comida. Excelente serviço. Bom ambiente, acolhedor. As entradas estavam óptimas, escolhemos uma entrada mista para partilhar. A pasta estava óptima com muito sabor. Acabámos com uma grapa e um limoncelo, oferta da casa. Preços alemães, é claro. 3 pessoas - cerca de 200 euros A repetir numa próxima viagem.

For the dishes "suggested by the chef" ask for its value first. You can be surprised with a bill much higher than expected. If you are in group, please revise the bill carefully.

Wir haben gut gegessen, das Ambiente ist ansprechend (im Freien). Vorspeise Meeresfrüchtesalat Hauptgericht Linguine mit Thunfisch. Das Essen war sehr lecker, der Service war sehr gut. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Best Italian lunch place in west end and excellent value for the money. The hand made pastas are absolutely delicious. If possible ask for a table outside, as the terrace is beautifully done. The selections of wines is extensive. If you choose one of the daily rotating lunch menus you won’t be disappointed. I read that other people complained about the service quality, which I can only deny. Of course the guys are true Italians running their business and not just a corporate canteen. Thus, they might be stressed in busy times. But personally, I have never made a bad experience there. I

Very friendly staff who explain the menu and alergies for you. I had a special which was ravioli, large portion and hot, delicious. For dessert had creme caramel, again large portion and very tasty. Not too expensive.

We were there with our colleagues from different countries. Our office lady reserved for us places without any other order. We have arrived and the waiter informed us about a preordered starter, but we didnt preorder. He was extremly unfriendly and insisted that we need to take the starter. After an uncomfortalbe discussion we took the starter. At the end we got a special suprise, because the starter was more expensive than our main course and drink together. Never ever will we book there again and I can't advice to do so for anyone else.
