It was really cold and we needed to wait a little while for the food but because we were a group of 40 people but it was really good

It was delicious. The service was great, and the dog that greeted and saw us off at the entrance was simply adorable.

The restaurant L'Unico boasts good online reviews. Unfortunately, this impression isn't confirmed when we dine there. The food we chose, pizza and pasta, was poorly presented and tasted somewhat bland. Furthermore, the service staff was very pushy, almost intrusive. For example, they refilled our drinks without asking. They also aggressively tried to convince us to order the dishes from the daily specials. Regardless of the food and staff, the restaurant itself makes a good to very good impression considering the space itself. Overall, the value for money isn't right. I won't be visiting the restaurant again.

The food and service were okay. However, I went there for dinner on my birthday and they talked us into three starter platters, which really wasn't much, and then they charged us €19.50 per person, which is pretty cheeky. So, a lot of upselling and pretty cheeky.

The truffle pasta was aromatic, perfectly al dente, and with a sauce you'd want to scoop out with a spoon. The seafood was also fresh, tender, and superbly seasoned. The cuisine demonstrates how Italian classics can be reinterpreted with refinement and creativity. Even the dessert – a homemade tiramisu – was a dream: airy, creamy, and with just the right balance of sweetness and espresso. Particularly noteworthy is the combination of fine dining and a relaxed atmosphere. Whether for a romantic dinner, a business lunch, or a special evening with friends, L'Unico offers the perfect setting. The prices are absolutely justified given the quality. In short: L'Unico is not just a restaurant, but a place where enjoyment, hospitality, and style come together at the highest level. I will definitely be back – and recommend it to anyone who wants to experience the true Italian way of life.

The food here was delicious. I had a pizza with spicy salami and garlic, and it was generously tossed. The service was very friendly, but the wait was a bit long, even though the restaurant was empty.

Fantastic. The food is sooo good. The wines are a dream.

We went there with our family. The service was very friendly and attentive. Even though we were there with lots of children, the staff didn't seem bothered at all. The food was also fresh and delicious. The prices are typical of Frankfurt prices, but at least the food tastes good here. The pizza with salami, pepperoni, and garlic is highly recommended. My family said the Bolognese was very, very good. Highly recommended. I'll go again and post an update if necessary.

Our favorite restaurant for 14 years! We now live 50 km away, but we still come whenever we get the chance to eat, drink, and linger. It's always lovely and delicious. You feel at home right away! Simply a wonderful place, full of empathy and a love of food! Thank you so much.

Very good food and wine, but unfortunately, part of the staff is very rude (female waitress). After 10 PM, guests are not allowed to talk within a group, as there is apparently an “annoying neighbor who likes to call the police.” In my opinion, this is a significant disadvantage for a bar that stays open until midnight. We were rudely asked to “speak 10 decibels quieter,” after which we chose to leave the bar. I wouldn’t recommend this place for groups, or for anyone who doesn’t want to whisper in a public space, after dinner time.

The prices are now extremely inflated, and the value for money is no longer right. Our last visit with a child was particularly disappointing. We felt rather unwelcome, which is unacceptable for a restaurant in this price range. We also found the clientele rather tiring. All in all, it was not a pleasant evening, and unfortunately, we no longer recommend L'Unico.

Best Italian food we've had in many many years. Fresh pasta, fresh ingredients. Great service.

I went to the ice cream shop next to the restaurant that I found open on Sundays. The ice cream is good and the coffee is excellent. Carlos was fast and friendly and nice with the children who had fun I recommend it

Good luncheon! Wine selection here is amazing. They made me a special spaghetti de Mare. And I enjoyed it with the wines. I had a Verdicchio di Jesi DOC „Quota 311" - Piersanti to start. That was good. Then I tried a Nero d'Avola IGT „7 Vigne" - Ferreri. That made my day. The last glass was a pricier one. Barbera d'Alba DOC "Granera Alta" - Cascina Chicco The last wine was bad. Smell is sour and taste is like soya sauce. The desert managed to make my day. Panna cotta. Still a cool place to chill.

Great location for lunch. A changing lunch menu is also offered during the week. It starts with a salad, you can choose your main course, and ends with a small dessert. The filled homemade pasta dishes are also highly recommended. Tortellini XXL or ravioli with spinach and ricotta are classics there. Worth a visit for lunch and dinner.

I didn't dine there. I went there for a drink with a friend. They are lovely, the service is fast, and the atmosphere is cozy.

Staff were attentive and friendly, without being intrusive. What really stood out was how balanced the flavors were – clearly made by someone who knows their craft. Prices were reasonable for the quality and portion size. I also appreciated how clean and well-kept everything was, from the tables to the restrooms. If you're in the area and looking for authentic Italian food in a calm and cozy setting, I would absolutely recommend giving L'Unico a try.

Although the reservation was confirmed by email, it was no longer active upon arrival. During our meal, the staff even called to ask if we were still coming. Financially well-off regulars are particularly accommodating and pampered. Regular guests who want to treat themselves are rather annoying. Only the drinks arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Since only the manager takes our meal orders and is more interested in a friendly chat with other guests, we were inclined to pay for the drinks and leave. Only after asking, even though people were passing our table every minute, were we allowed to order food. We had already expressed our interest in a later dessert. However, since they apparently had no interest in giving us the same attention as other guests, we declined and did not bother the service staff any further. So a lovely day in Frankfurt ended somewhat disappointed. Luckily, the evening before, not far from this restaurant, we discovered a small, simple pizzeria with very good food and polite staff.

Mehhh. Ok, but blends into the broad mediocrity of overpriced Italian restaurants in Frankfurt.

Once and never again. For all the reasons that can be decisive for a good restaurant. Started with a reservation: requested in writing, then received confirmation by email. But when we called 1 hour before (more on that in a moment), there was nothing in our name. Question about the confirmation email - short answer, quickly covered up (problem apparently known and tables given spontaneously?). Then the reason for my call: I asked if it was possible, and when I answered in the affirmative I asked that I could do something nice for dessert for my husband, who had his birthday that day (you know how to prepare it particularly beautifully or what restaurants do). Confirmed on the phone - nothing happened. No note made, nothing (why did I call and why do they promise it? They could have told me that I should remind them on site or something). Food was, well, too expensive for the quality, but almost everywhere else we weren't so disappointed. Pizza carelessly topped, my pasta was too raw (not really al dente), duck ragout was hard pieces of meat, not edible. Waiter not paying attention, as if they were passing through and stopped spontaneously at our table. The crowning glory was my dessert.. The Zabaglione. I've never experienced anything like that. Unfortunately not photographed. A porridge on a soup plate. Looked like baby food, just a mass, not even a mint leaf or berry on it - nothing at all. Looked unappetizing, even if the GDR content was the cream of the crop. Even the person sitting next to me asked what it was and decided not to have dessert. The plate was also brought by another waiter, who quickly forgot about our table without looking at me (it was clear that everyone would have looked horrified at the sight, it really looked like resignation, a dessert is somehow served, I really asked myself whether it was serious). Conclusion: Waiter not interested, food not appealing, prices high, reservation only apparent, birthday doesn't matter. No, there are so many such good Italians that this one falls right off the list for us.

A very nice address for our first restaurant in Frankfurt! The atmosphere is very warm and the staff attentive. Italian cuisine is very well represented and very tasty.

Quality of the food was good. The service was a bit sales-oriented to me. There was bread on the table, no dip or sauce. Because our group paid separately, it would be charged to the last person as a greeting from the kitchen without comment. I would have expected that there would be some butter, olive oil or a dip with the bread if it costs something and this would be pointed out when paying. We didn't order it. The neighboring tables received an aperitif on the house with their bill. Our table didn't, probably because we paid separately or our bill was too low (despite eating food and drinks). The dining room was a bit noisy.

Unfriendly service, long waiting time

Sehr angenehme location. Wir wurde zuvorkommend bedient. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Portionen ausreichend groß um nach einem langen Tag mit 3 Gängen mehr als gesättigt zu sein. Angenehm war auch das man uns ungestört sitzen ließ aber trotzdem aufmerksam war. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Best Frankfurt meal we had while on a business trip over a week trip in Frankfurt. Service was great and top notch. Food was very good quality including pastas, fish and meats. The meat dishes are larger if you are hungry and they included a wide variety of mushrooms in dishes and I love mushrooms.

Actually the perfect restaurant. Fine dining. Unfortunately it became quite expensive after the update. It quickly gets loud inside. Very loud.

I often go to Lunico and have always been happy with everything: good food (not exceptionally good, but of good quality), always nice service. The lunch menu attracts many business people: soup, pasta or fish/meat and dessert for 12 to 20 euros is a good offer in Frankfurt-Westend. It is a fact that drinks in Frankfurt restaurants are outrageously expensive. But 5.50 euros for 0.25 liter bottle of Pellegrino water for lunch in Lunico - I'm at a loss for words.

The food was good and tasted authentic. But the service was terrible. The waiters had some attitude, they were extremely rushed as if they had some other place to go. They rattled off some information on the drinks and specials and couldn’t wait two seconds for us to make up our minds. Our drinks arrived after we finished our foods. Generally rude and grumpy and not worth coming here again

Went there for Dinner and not sure why but got imo the best outdoor table. But never have been to this place before. I loved the food (Pasta), the wine and the service. Will definitely go there again. Important to know is that they have to close the outdoor terrace at 22.00.

Dear Lunico team, For the most part the shop is a good Italian restaurant. However there is a problem with the pizza. The dough is not done. Disaster I threw up several times after eating these. Otherwise everything is okay

The atmosphere is very nice and cozy. The service was super accommodating, nice and personable. The price of the food is not in proportion to what you get and you should make the guest aware of the prices if you order a dish off the menu or on the recommendation of the waiter.

Outdoor opening in Westend🚀💯 Clientele matching the address, but the cartridge makes no difference. As first-time visitors, we were treated like permanent guests. Super friendly staff with turbo service when the place is full💪 Aperol S. and rose prosecco as an aperetivo, ice cold and excellent in taste, were at the table in a hurry.👍 Pasta Calabrese, tuna tartare and a tomato soup were excellent entrees. Topped with the main courses of grilled sole, sea bream with seafood, pasta arrabiata with crayfish and a sensational tagliata on rocket and parmesan. Plus top vegetables and potatoes to the point🫠 After 2 bottles of Bianco (Arneis and Catarrato), the dessert menu should finally be put on the table. Here too, the finest cuisine. The chocolate cake with a hot center, the creme brulee and the zabaglione, simply divine. It was kindly pointed out that the outdoor area would be closed at 10:15 p.m. and that you could go to the ristorante. Said and done. Cozy chill table for 4, reds to finish off and a degistiv on the house, we rolled home shortly after midnight, completely satisfied. Strong appearance. ❤️🥰🇮🇹

This place is fabulous. Great customer service, a quaint and comfortable outdoor seating option, dog friendly and amazing food. We also got a bottle of white wine which was a great liaising as well. My pasta was so yummy along with the calamari and the desserts!! I’d definitely come back to this place next time I’m in Frankfurt.

The restaurant is within easy reach of the palm garden. The service is very nice and they want to avoid food being thrown away. Not every restaurant can say that! It is beautifully designed both inside and outside and you get free bread at the beginning of every visit. The drinks arrive quickly and the food didn't take long to arrive either. For example, I had a pizza and it was the best in a long time! Overall this restaurant is a 10 out of 10!

L’Unico, my favorite Italian restaurant in Frankfurt, impresses with excellent service, quick service and a pleasant atmosphere. The truffle pasta and the carpaccio are my personal absolute highlights – I enjoy them regularly. A culinary experience that impresses in every respect!

Very nice Italian restaurant, with Italian staff. Good food, pizzas look good but I had a spaghetti which was very good, and on another occasion a lemon risotto which was... strange. I mean, it tasted well enough, but the consistency was not at all what I'm used to, so I can't honestly say it was good. On one of the occasions I went there, it was full and they recommended to sit on the wine bar which is next door and also belongs to L'Unnico, where we ordered from the same menu. So you have that option, but I warn you to check the tab before paying, as there may be some surcharge. Dogs are allowed, with Charlie being the perfect ambassador to the place, a very good boy indeed!

Food comes bit by bit, the main course is cold before the side dishes are served. The noodles are mushy. Not recommended...

I can recommend this pizzeria in the Westend in Frankfurt am Main with a very clear conscience! Very tasteful decor, nice staff and the tuna pizza was really great! Great taste!
