Sono stato portato in questo locale da colleghi che vivono in città. Devo dire che non sono rimasto soddisfatto. Il servizio è stato appena sufficiente. La scelta di piatti limitata e quello che ho mangiato non mi ha impressionato.
Our first visit to the Crete restaurant. We had made a reservation and were warmly greeted by the host couple(?) when we entered and were shown to a nice table for us and our dog. The service was very attentive and personal throughout the evening. After ordering, we didn't have to wait long for our food, even though the restaurant was busy. The quality of the meat was okay, but to be honest we've had better. The topping with the dried herb mixture was a bit overdone. Overall, we didn't eat badly at all. The price/performance ratio was definitely good. We had a wonderful evening, especially because of the atmosphere and the personal commitment of the host family. Top hosts, even towards us as foreign guests.
Update: March 21, 2025 There is no longer any ouzo. Changing the side dish from farmer's salad to coleslaw will be charged an additional 1 euro. Overall, prices were raised. But without ouzo, the hearty meal is no longer fun.
Athens is our favorite Greek place because you can eat really delicious food here. I love the eggplant cream, which is delicious, dolmades (stuffed grape leaves with a delicious lemon sauce), pita tzatziki, fried zucchini and eggplant.
Pantheon plate and of course Ouzo, you can only say "Jamas".! The service is friendly and the atmosphere is good. In the summer it's outside under the shady trees and in the winter it's nice inside too. All I can do is keep saying “Efaristo”..!
Corfu was our favorite Greek place. The service is usually attentive and always friendly. Over the years, my husband and I have noticed more and more that the portions are getting smaller and smaller. The prices increased significantly some time ago. Yes, well...we accepted that. But now with the pork we get 3 tiny pieces of meat and a measly portion of potato slices, so moussaka actually only consists of cheese. There is only a single small slice of eggplant to be found. Over the years we have become accustomed to significantly better quality and portions for the money. As I said, we are seeing more and more savings being made in Corfu. But that's really cheeky. It's a real shame because we've been eating in Corfu for years, but to deliver something like that to customers for 50 euros is outrageous! In the meantime, you are better served with a gyros pita at the snack bar or cooking it yourself.
Food was good.
Ambience not bad.
Service, however, was subpar.
Despite a reservation, we had to wait 30 minutes until we were seated, outside... in January.
Rude to new customers.
I don't think there will be another visit to the restaurant.
