EAT pork very tough..schnitzel meat!!

We have been going to this restaurant regularly for 21 years. The menu is very extensive and there are many different menus. The employees are always ALL very nice and helpful. The food tastes very good. I personally cannot understand negative reviews.

The restaurant is not far from the highway. It has a large parking lot. The employees were very friendly, but they lacked an eye for empty glasses. Otherwise everything was tasty and okay

Price, performance is okay. Had gyros with mince. Gyros could have been warmer and more flavorful. But tastes are different.

We decided to have dinner at Korfu on a Saturday evening at short notice. Arriving around 8:25 p.m., we were told in an annoyed tone that the kitchen was already closed. According to the website and the notice board, the kitchen closes at 9 p.m. We won't be seeing the restaurant again. What a shame!

The food (especially the liver) was not tasty according to the price. However, the side dishes were good to eat. The waiters/waiters were friendly in a human way. Technically a nice picture. However, if you sit on the outside you will be able to see the motorway.

The lamb chops were tough, gristly and completely overpriced, the stuffed peppers were watery, bland, far too much rice and not enough mince. When this was reported to the waitress, we were told off in an unfriendly manner. NEVER AGAIN.

Prices have risen sharply, price-performance ratios are no longer correct. Portions have become smaller. The taste has also gotten a little worse. Too bad. The service is super nice and very fast. TOP for it. After about a year we went there again. But this time is guaranteed to be the last time. Portion size ok. Gyros very dry, very borderline. Tzatziki has zero taste. Waitress very friendly, but the waiter was very grumpy. All in all, a total failure.

The waitress obviously wasn't having a good day. I'm actually only used to such snarkiness in Berlin, but at least they're warm. Rooms were drafty and cold. The meal went like this. Portions are not overly large, but expensive. Our event (11 people) ended abruptly at 10 p.m. At 10:05 p.m. the lights in front of the door were turned off and we had to walk to the cars in the dark. With people with walking difficulties! Traffic safety obligation?!? Sorry, that doesn't work at all!

Were invited here for a birthday. The food was ok. But I've eaten better. The staff couldn't keep up with the drinks. Ambiance is nice.

Corfu was our favorite Greek place. The service is usually attentive and always friendly. Over the years, my husband and I have noticed more and more that the portions are getting smaller and smaller. The prices increased significantly some time ago. Yes, well...we accepted that. But now with the pork we get 3 tiny pieces of meat and a measly portion of potato slices, so moussaka actually only consists of cheese. There is only a single small slice of eggplant to be found. Over the years we have become accustomed to significantly better quality and portions for the money. As I said, we are seeing more and more savings being made in Corfu. But that's really cheeky. It's a real shame because we've been eating in Corfu for years, but to deliver something like that to customers for 50 euros is outrageous! In the meantime, you are better served with a gyros pita at the snack bar or cooking it yourself.

The typical Greek from the 80s/90s. Both the ambience and the food presentation haven't really changed since then. However, you also know what you are getting. Food and drinks are OK. What's really positive is that patates are standard here instead of boring fries. 👍 The price/performance ratio is a bit excessive for the quality. UPDATE: October 6th, 2024 The prices have exploded again... you now pay around 80 euros for 2 people... sorry, but that's not possible...

We were there yesterday with 11 people. Unfortunately the food was very poor and tasted worse than in a chip shop. The salad only tasted like vinegar. The meat was dry, the Jägerschnitzel was very small, it was at most a traditional dish. For the prices you can ask for other dishes. The service was very friendly.

Great ambience. Food came for everyone at the same time, even though we had 14 orders a la carte. Price performance is right. Quantities are absolutely sufficient to really fill you up.

The best part was the garlic bread and pepperoni skewers. The “Kellertor” style sheep’s cheese was hidden under a rich cream sauce with curry and dill. Unusual! The vegetable plate consisted mainly of peppers, but the taste was ok.

Very accommodating and very good food!! The service was great and the food wasn't served like it was on an assembly line. Starter, then a break and then, if necessary, the main course and dessert as desired 30 minutes later! No hassle, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! AFK Tiles Frank Scarati

A typical Greek restaurant. Really not bad. But not really good at any point. All fine and pretty average. You can visit. But there are better ones too.

Five of us had dinner there at 5:30 p.m. However, we only got a table in the winter garden. Right next to the phone, which is way too loud. The waiter was beyond rude. The order didn't go fast enough for him. Which he also announced loudly. His colleague, however, was friendly. The food was mediocre, the prices were high. This Greek will no longer be there any time soon.

Too little on the plate. Grill plate. My girlfriend's gyros were more than I had. Too bad.

Wir kommen seit Jahren hierher. Es schmeckt super, dass Ambiente und das Personal ist freundlich. In den letzten Monaten jedoch sind die Preise massiv gestiegen. Ab heute sind dann noch die Portionen reduziert worden. So beispielsweise die Spezialsauce, die normalerweise in einer kleinen Sauciere serviert wird. Stattdessen bekamen wir heute anstelle der Sauciere extra angeschaffte Mini Soßenbehälter wo, wenn überhaupt, die Hälfte von dem drinnen war, was sich normalerweise in der Sauciere befindet. Auf die Frage an die Bedienung wurde uns platt mitgeteilt, dass dies wohl jetzt intern so beschlossen sei. Das wäre immer noch ausreichend für einen Grillteller „Dafni“ Schön, dass die Mitarbeiter für den Kunden so mitdenken. Wenn ich einen Stammkunden prellen möchte, ist das genau der richtige Weg. Achso! Das Brot gibt es auch schon seit Monaten nicht mehr zu einer Speiße dazu. Fazit: Tschüssikowski

Celebrated my Mothers 69th Birthday here and it was lovely! The Food was great. I loved the interior design of the toilets too!

Leider eine große Enttäuschung: es fing an mit dem barschen Ton der Bedienung, dann wurden nicht bestellte Gerichte gebracht, dann waren bestellte Änderungen nicht beachtet worden. Gyros zwischen verbrannt und zu trocken, Souvlaki auch zu trocken. An der "Edelfischplatte" war nix edel, nur der Preis.

The food at high prices has gone down a lot. When we complained that the dish was too salty, the waitress replied, "We Greeks like to have spicy spices." We were in the basement gate on the occasion of a birthday, which was obvious and what I said. The waitress had no kind word or congratulations for the birthday child. Restaurant visit disappointing and not recommended.

The food has "decreased" significantly. Tsatziki bland and tasteless, potato slices not crispy. The worst was the souflaki. I ordered it well fried. They were completely unseasoned and very little fried pieces of meat. Not recognizable as souflaki. After my complaint, "Waiter 2" (bald head) asks if he should pack it up. No apologies, nothing! Unfortunately, that was an unpleasant visit to a restaurant for €50 (2 people). Absolutely NOT recommended!

A very nice and cozy Greek restaurant. The food was great, but the older service wasn't working at all. Friendly is different.

Really great Greek with friendly service and fantastic food. The last time we were there was 25 years ago, but the quality of the food hasn't lost anything in that time. After the starter and main course, we actually wanted a dessert, but that didn't work for us. The portions are more than generous. We'll be back.

We haven't been there for a long time and were pleasantly surprised. The food was very tasty. The octopus was very well fried and tender.

Wirklich sehr Lecker essen und Freundlichs Personal. Kommen Gerne Wieder. Mann kann im Sommer Super Draußen sitzen und auf Sonderwünsche wird auch eingegangen auch wenn mann einen kleinen Aufpreis bezahlen muss vollkommen in Ordnung.

Alle 12-18 Monate testen wir immer wieder das Restaurant, da ich ein großer Fan der griechischen Küche bin. Wir wurden bei den letzten Besuchen eigentlich immer enttäuscht, dennoch wollten wir (insbesondere ich) es mal wieder ausprobieren. Wir hatten 3 x Fleisch und 1 x überbackenes Gyros. Sämtliches Fleisch wurde dermaßen lang gegrillt, leider bis zur Grenze des kaubaren. Ich hatte extra Medium Rare bestellt, meine Frau wurde gar nicht erst gefragt. Rind und Lamm zuzubereiten auf Restaurant-Niveau kann mittlerweile jeder Hobbykoch (sous vide), im Restaurant geht es sicher auch auf dem Grill. Die Zubereitung hat diese tollen Produkte fast ungenießbar werden lassen, echt schade um die Zeit und das Geld. Leider ist dieses Restaurant auch bei der Zusammenstellung / Umstellung der Gerichte 0% flexibel gewesen, man musste alles extra bezahlen und konnte nicht mal die Saucen kostenlos wechseln. Die tolle Lage des Restaurants sorgt anscheinend immer wieder für genügend Gäste, auch wenn diese nur einmal dort essen. Eine Einsicht oder Verbesserung (trotz reichlicher Kritik) scheint sich nicht abzuzeichnen.

The waitresses were nice. The food was average, the bread used to be fresh. All in all mediocre, but fairly high prices compared to many other restaurants.

Had a family dinner on Sunday, sat inside, pleasant atmosphere, good space, extensive menu, deliciously prepared dishes, very friendly staff, unfortunately tense parking situation.

We had dinner there today for Mother's Day. My father got a grill plate but the meat was so fried that it was simply inedible and simply far dry🤷🏼‍♀️ In my opinion, the employees are nice but not attentive. We were there at lunchtime. The adults got starters for which we waited about 45 minutes and about 90 minutes for the normal dish (that's probably how long the meat was on the grill). The price-performance ratio is not right because most of the things are out of the bag or generally not of good quality. But the restaurant looks really nice, especially outside🫶🏼 You can hear birds 🐦 and in general it looks really fantastic. Conclusion: Drinks were great👍🏻 It's been a long time since I drank so well😊 Unfortunately my father needs a new dentist because of the dry meat🥲

On Sunday evenings at 8 p.m. there are only drinks, although according to the internet the kitchen is open until 9 p.m. Not recommended because the prices are quite high. We're happy to forego it. We were regular customers there. Not anymore.

I have known and visited this Greek restaurant for almost 25 years. The quality is consistently good, the card is not overloaded and still versatile. No matter whether fish or meat dishes. Everything is recommended. The decor is quite rustic, but the atmosphere is cozy. It's very nice to sit half outside in the summer. The service is good, attentive and very friendly. A waiter comes across as a bit gnarly and grumpy at times, but he doesn't mean it and is generally a very nice person. We like going there.

After a good walk, it's worth having a good meal as a reward. However, it would be important to make a reservation, otherwise you will get a B table at the entrance.

Rarely have I had a worse and more expensive gyro! Portion generous. Fatty, tasteless and almost cold meat. The potatoes/patatas are delicious. You have to pay extra for the portion of tzatziki. The gyro plate costs just under 20 euros, ambitious. But inexplicably it probably suits the taste of many visitors... 😶

Great food and friendly service

Wir sind viele Jahre immer mal wieder hier Essen gegangen, leider hat sich die Qualität deutlich verschlechtert. Das Fleisch war recht zäh, bei dem Preis von über 26 Euro pro Teller darf das eigentlich nicht passieren. Portionen haben sich über die Jahre immer verkleinert. Natürlich wird alles teurer, aber teuer und dann nicht gut, das ist keine gute Kombination.

I find it incredibly sad that the likeable Ljubica can't find any friendly staff. The Korfu im Kellertor was one of my favorite restaurants for a long time. However, where I, as a potential paying guest, am insulted by the service, I prefer to forego the always good food and spend my budget on visits to restaurants where I experience a friendly welcome and good manners.

Wir waren gestern dort essen und die Kellnerin war so was von unfreundlich. Wir waren das erste mal dort und auf die frage was die Soße des Hauses ist, bekommt man eine dumme Antwort. Wir haben sehr lange auf das Essen gewartet und auf spezielle Wünsche wird auch nicht eingegangen. Nur weil eine Person noch etwas Zeit brauche um sich zu entscheidet müsste alles gelöscht werden auch die Vorspeisen, weil es so nicht abschicken kann. Wir haben 80 Minuten auf das Essen gewartet. Das Gyros schmeckt überhaupt nicht. Kann ich nicht empfehlen für den Preis. Alle Gäste haben Ouzo bekommen bei der Bezahlung und wir haben keinen bekommen! Fand ich schon sehr frech. Uns würde das Restaurant empfohlen und wir sind aus Neuss dort hingefahren um es zu testen mit der Familie 6 Personen und es hat sich nicht gelohnt.

Die Bedienung war unterirdisch. Patzige Antworten, ständig sich verteidigend und leider komplett unfähig Kritik anzunehmen. Haben versucht den Eigentümer freundlich darauf hinzuweisen, jedoch war er nicht bereit Hinweise anzunehmen. Dieses Restaurant sieht uns nicht wieder!

Unfreundliche Bedienung und vergammelter Grillteller!

Das Essen war okay, aber leider wurden wir an einem Samstagabend um 20:35 Uhr vor die Tür gesetzt, weil sich laut Bedienung die wenigen Gäste nicht lohnten um Licht und Personal zu bezahlen. Schade

Super netter Service, der uns buchstäblich nicht im Regen stehen ließ 😊 Das Essen war richtig lecker, alles war sehr liebevoll angerichtet 😍 wir kommen bestimmt wieder und üben vorher das Lesen der Öffnungszeiten 😅

Preis Leistung ist absolut Mangelhaft. Es war das erste Mal, dass ich nach einem Grillteller noch Hunger hatte und das, obwohl ich vorher Vorspeisen hatte (was ich normalerweise nicht mache). Geschmacklich war es okay, aber nicht besonders. Für ein griechisches Restaurant ist Gesamtleistung mangelhaft.

Essen war gut, Preis schon ein wenig zu hoch. Service fand ich gut und die Kellner waren entgegen anderen Aussagen sehr sehr freundlich, ich glaube, das es auch darauf ankommt wie man sich selber gibt, heißt kann die schlechte Kritik bzgl. Kellner nicht verstehen. Macht weiter so Ihr Lieben und wenn ich komme den Preis ein bisschen reduzieren 😊

Ich besuche dieses Restaurant inzwischen schon viele Jahre. Jedes mal freu ich mich aufs neue das man dort von allen Seiten über Jahre den gleichen, guten und gewohnten Standard hält. Besonders ist das in ausreichender Zahl immer freundliche Personal zu erwähnen. Über die Jahre hat sich als Messlatte für mein Hauptgericht Moussaka herauskristallisiert. Was soll ich sagen? Hier habe ich die leckerste Moussaka meines Lebens gegessen. Die Dessertempfehlung Lukumades was übrigens auch ein echter Knaller. Danke für das leckere Essen, die schöne Atmosphäre und an das tolle Serviceteam. Danke! Bis bald.

Was soll ich sagen? Als Griechischer Landsmann und mit entsprechenden Background war ich natürlich nicht so überrascht. Das Essen war völlig in Ordnung, Geschmacklich okay, nicht mehr und nicht weniger (der Salat war leider sehr armselig und definitiv nicht griechisch geprägt!). Die Bedienung sowie der gesamte Empfang hätte etwas freundlicher sein können.

Einfach klasse, nur zu empfehlen.

Wir waren hier mit meinen Schwiegereltern. Das Essen ist leider nicht so gut gewürzt - eher fade. Die Portionen sind für einen Griechen ziemlich klein. Ich hab' sonst noch nie nach einer Mahlzeit noch ein Eis geschafft und dann immernoch "Platz" gehabt.

Meine Frau und ich waren vor Kurzem dort abends essen. Ich hatte mir die Empfehlung des Kellners bestellt. 2 Thunfischspieße mit Reis und meine Frau Gyros in Metaxasauce überbacken. Leider war der Thunfisch durchgegrillt und trocken. War eine schlechte Empfehlung. Das Gericht meiner Frau war ölig, vielleicht durch den Käse und schmeckte ( habe probiert ) nicht nach, wie auf der Karte geschrieben mit Metaxasauce. Schade, die Fahrt aus Düsseldorf hat sich nicht gelohnt. Preis-Leistung nein.

Die Qualität und die Größe der Gerichte waren im Vergleich zum Vorjahr weniger. Dafür sind die Preise erhöht. Wir waren etwas enttäuscht.

Guter Grieche mit reichlich Platz, schönem Außenbereich und sehr freundlichem Service. Gerne wieder.

Schlechte unfreundliche arrogante Bedienung , essen qualitativ schlecht , Preise viel zu hoch . Ambiente herunter gekommen und nicht mit liebe u Geschmack eingerichtet … Das ganze passt zusammen , Personal , essen und Ambiente … nicht empfehlenswert !

Sehr nette Bedienung - Gute Auswahl an Vorspeisen + Hauptgerichte - Da ich eine Naschkatze bin kann ich den Nachtisch Lukumades empfehlen - 5 🌟- Werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen ;-)))

Essen war gut und lecker allerdings fehlte zum Gyros der Zaziki den hätte man extra zahlen müssen und das ist nicht ok da er eigentlich immer dazu gehört.

Der Service ist m.E. deutlich weniger gut als gewohnt. Die Preise sind stark gestiegen, während die Portionen kleiner sind.

Wir waren an einem vollen Tag da. Da habe ich verständniss dafür wenn es mal etwas länger dauert, jedoch fast 2 Stunden auf das Essen zu warten ist schon etwas lange. Das Personal war leider auch nicht sehr zuvorkommend und überfordert. Das Essen war okay jedoch in anderen Restaurants schon deutlich besser bekommen. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön mit der Terrasse.

Essen schmeckt sehr gut! Was service angeht, wenn da die blonde Dame aus Kroatien ist das top, leider ihre Kollege ist voll das Gegenteil von ihr. Das Restaurant ist sauber und hat eine wunderschöne Sommer Terrasse

Es war keine große Enttäuschung, aber auch nicht besonders gut. Hatte leider Pech mit der Jägersosse, kurz vor stark versalzen. Vielleicht habe ich auch zuviel erwartet, da das Restaurant über seine Stadtgrenze hinaus bekannt ist. Sicherlich kommen wir wieder um zu testen ob der Koch dann nicht mehr verliebt ist.

Ich gehe dort sehr gerne essen ...und spazieren kann man da auch ihm Anschluss

Man merkt, dass die Geschäftsleitung und das Küchenpersonal NICHT aus Griechenland kommt. Alles war eintönig vom Geschmack her. Dazu matschiger Salat und fettige Patatas aus der Friteuse. Dazu diese Mini-Portionen, über die sich an Nachbartischen mehrere Gäste beschwerten. Wir kommen nicht mehr wieder! Keine Empfehlung, es gibt eindeutig bessere griechische Lokale!!!
